Guest Reviews
- SALLY (8/5): - Limited supplies in room. Very small thin towels. Chaotic breakfast environment.
- Kevin (6/5): - Room appeared clean. Parking was fine. Bed was nice and comfortable. Wi-Fi in the room wasn’t the greatest at times. Double check the mini fridge temperature settings before putting drinks in. I didn’t and the next morning the drinks were frozen.
- Julie (8/5): - Would stay again! Very quiet and convenient!
- Bridgete s (8/5): - Parking safe, room dirty and out dated
- Arnab (10/5): - Good place to stay
- David H. (4/5): - Old hotel, lots of grime on the walls, bathroom very small. Old sink. Shower was hard to stand under and you couldn’t adjust it. Light bulbs were either out or even 3-way bulbs only had one way! Lots of flies in the room because door opens outside. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone!
- Luis (10/5): - yes it was safe
- Sharmaine Joy (6/5): - The room was okay. Need brighter light. Bed sheet has some stains. No outlet in nightstands close to bed. Bath tub is clogged. Saw the one of the staff preparing breakfast and he just heat the patties in the microwave. Not freshly cooked! It was 6:30am already and the breakfast are not ready.. Coffee doesn’t taste good.
- Joseph (8/5): - Rustic cabin room with bathroom was all we needed really. Really made us feel like we were getting a authentic Yellowstone experience. Great restaurant on site. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner each day.
- james (10/5): - Area around the building needs a make over but for the price a good deal. Great bar b que right across the parking lot!!!
- mark (2/5): - Reservation was for the wrong night
I did not stay and the front desk staff was no help
I sent a request to Expedia for customer service help
- Kevin (10/5): - Easy checking, nice staff, room is clean
- Judy (6/5): - The room itself was clean, but the bed was terrible. The mattress felt like an air mattress (I didn't check). Everytime one of us moved the other side bounced up and down
- Raghu (4/5): - Property need some repairs, In bathroom flush not working and we didn’t get cool water in shower so we went to other room to take bath.
- Ashley (6/5): - My room was supposed to be non smoking but all I could smell was cigarette smoke. It was so bad that I only stayed one night instead of the two I had paid for.
- David (6/5): - Old motel under new ownership and currently being partially "remodeled" to some degree. Room was old but clean, did have a new 65" TV!
- steve (10/5): - Great
- Marcia (6/5): - Asked to change to a room with 2 beds because the king bed was so soft every roll over would wake the other one up. Breakfast wasn't ready when the said it was open and was mediocre at best. But the people were nice and accommodating. However, I would not stay there again.
- cecil (4/5): 1 night stay - Rooms were old and outdated. I switched rooms to one that had just been partially renovated. A lot of workers hanging out that were doing the. Renovation.
It just did not have a good vibe to it. The staff were exceptionally friendly and were doing everything they can to help.
- Lina (2/5): - Didn't use either.
- Hope (8/5): - Old, but fairly well maintained. Ample parking. Shower head is very low. Good breakfast. Could use a new mattress.
- Renee (6/5): - This property needs a complete overhaul. I thought I was going ro fall through the floor. The bed was very old. The door did not close unless you slammed it shut...that was scary.
- Glenda (8/5): - clean & fairly quiet
- Chris (6/5): - Needs updating which is being done but current owners only been in place for 3 months.
- Kiera (6/5): - We stayed here for three nights.
- luz (2/5): - Is old and in terrible condition
- Amanda (2/5): - My, oh my! Where to begin? You’ll be greeted by a pair of mattresses outside in the rain (hopefully awaiting disposal) and a flurry of folks with fifths in hand headed inside! Filthy doors, walls, and curtains, fixtures… I could go on, but the pictures will speak volumes for themselves. $100 per night in the off-season is crazy business!
- Russell (6/5): - I chose this hotel based on reviews of past visitors to the hotel. I'm not sure if these were old reviews, but was disappointed in the condition of the room. Desk was broken and looked like it was ready to collapse, bathroom was old and dingy. It may have been clean, but the appearance spoke otherwise. The entry door had settled probably due to the age of the hotel, but you could clearly see light around the door. Even though the door had a deadbolt, I did not feel confident it would be of any use. I did not feel comfortable leaving my laptop or any other valuable while staying here. They are fixing up the ceiling in the main portico, but really should invest in a remodel of the main office and rooms.
- DaVida (8/5): - It was fine for an overnight stay.
- Charles (8/5): - This is an older motel that shows it's age slightly, particularly in the bathroom area, however, everything worked properly. The exterior including the pool area looks very good. It was all very clean, and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly.
- James (8/5): - Remodeling is in progress. Our room was modest but nice. I would stay there again.
- Daniel (2/5): - Room was in need of maintenance and voices could be heard coming through ceiling (from second floor). I was moved to second room which was an improvement.
- Mary (10/5): - Some updating being done
- Robert (8/5): - Nice desk people, cheap, clean. Not much else to brag about.
- Ashley (4/5): - Housekeeping never came. The floors were not cleaned
- Glee (4/5): - The room was really run down and not very clean!
- Ginger (6/5): - Unfortunately, during our stay, they were renovating the rooms. There was a lot of construction going on.
- Christie (6/5): - It was ok, needs alot of work.
- Bronwen (4/5): - Shabby and dirty. Ripped curtains. Junk stored everywhere. No attendant st breakfast and there was a mess on the counter.
- Greg (8/5): - It was a very building needing upgrade.
The people were friendly
- Deborah (4/5): - I think they are trying to renovate it and bring this hotel back to life, and I can appreciate that, but this was an all over bad experience. But I'm thinking that it might not really be ready for guests yet. Not even for the $97 I paid for the night to stay there. I'm thinking the beds, the carpet, all the furnishing were from the original run down hotel. The bed was REALLY soft. Like the mattress was from the 1970's. The carpet was really dirty and old looking and the furniture was dated and banged up. The place just didn't look like the pictures they posted on expedia. It looked decent for a nights stay, but when I got there, even the bathroom looked very run down. Wood rotting on the bathroom door, cracked and dirty looking bathroom tiles. In the morning, I work up and noticed on my chin I had two small little bites that looked like maybe a spider bite. When I got home that next night, my spouse looked at my left calf and asked me what happened. I didn't know what they were talking about and I looked down and my calf and ankle had all little bites, that looked similar to the bite on my face that I woke up with. So, I am not sure what the heck was in the bed with me, but apparently something. Bath towels were really small and like sand paper. Then came breakfast. There were a choice of 3 different cereals, bread for toast, yogurt, and there was a waffle machine but no waffle batter. So slim pickings. No half and half for coffee and only sugar. Won't stay again!
- Eid (10/5): - I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is convenient, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable, with the basic amenities provided. While it wasn’t a luxury stay, it was a good value for the price. The breakfast could use a bit more variety, but it was still decent. I would recommend this hotel for travelers looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay.
- Cindy (8/5): Good value - The room was very clean, air conditioning was great, the bed was very comfortable.
- Suzette (10/5): - Amazing rooms
- Praveen (2/5): - The rooms were not clean. The carpets and curtains were untidy. No hair dryer. It's not worth the money.
- Brian (2/5): - My room was very dirty there were stains on the bedding so i slept on top of all the covers, there were bugs in the sink and the shower/bathroom wasn't clean. Would never stay here again.
- Rosemary (8/5): - We had a pleasant enough stay here. The staff, were really friendly and the pool area was lovely - my girls had a brilliant time there. The room was comfortable, if a little dark, and the bathroom was clean. Keep an eye on this place, as it has has recently changed hands and they are obviously working hard on improvements!
- Jami (6/5): Fine for passing through - Very BUDGET friendly. Everything is pretty old and dingy. The lock on the door was broken so it didn't have a safe feeling.
- Verified traveler (6/5): 3 stars. It's fine, but I wouldn't stay here again - The bed was comfortable and the room was clean if a little drab. It was perfectly serviceable for a quick stay. Room had a huge TV with a fire stick and Netflix. The shower didn't work very well and the AC seems like it was on its last leg. Noise also carries.
I think people use it as a long term stay hotel because the parking lot was overrun with asphalt laying trucks and equipment, and I could have done without being leered at by the workers who were standing in groups in the parking lot smoking.
For this reason I chose not to use the pool, but it did look clean and the pool area was nicely laid out.
- Fred (6/5): Decent place - Nice place a bit out dated, easy in and out
- Norman (2/5): - Shower so dirty we would not use. Sink visually unattractive. Fridge no ice compartment. Sheetrock missing in places and trim falling off. Breakfast room floor sticky to walk on. Card swiped for incidentals but no amenities there to charge for, nor anything of value other than tv. Over priced stay. Sleezy place. Won’t use again and saying goodbye to Expedia.
- Natalie (8/5): - Friendly staff. Clean outdoor pool.
- Jonathan (10/5): - Staff was amazing!! They are currently renovating the rooms so bare with them but overall a great experience!
- Kevin (6/5): - The property is run-down and looks tired. The room was clean.
- Katie (10/5): - Run down but cheap
- Gabriella (2/5): I would not stay here again - Despite the fact that the motel was basically empty, we were put in a room far away from the main building, where workers were still painting next door. The AC unit was uncovered. The mattress was too soft. Minimal breakfast with only vanilla powder creamer.
- Jason (10/5): - Great hotel for the price
- Logan (4/5): - Dirty has bed bugs nasty place
- Cherie (6/5): - Towels had not been changed. Very poor water pressure for shower. Pillows did not smell fresh. Outside of motel looks very shabby. Breakfast was good and staff very friendly
- Craig (6/5): - Major upgrade of lobby ongoing - good & no problem. Some room upgrades but much still needed. Justfine for the night.
- Verified traveler (4/5): The T-shirt did it for me. - This place was under construction, which is fine, but it seems like they’re doing everything at night between 5-10. Place is dated with clutter everywhere. It was the small things that added up. Like no latch on the outside door, water pressure in the sink so high I was taking a bath every time I used it, the GIANT tv that had nothing on it, the gross carpet, the host wear a tshirt that said “I don’t care”, and the cheap decor and fixtures. Glad I only spent one night. Would’ve been better off spending $10 more for another place.
- James (8/5): - Bed was comfy
- Diana (8/5): - Motel is under construction
- Yajaira (2/5): - Room was not like pictured, carpet was dirty, bathroom tub was very old and dirty and bathroom floor was very sticky. I wouldn't stay here again.
- Viktor (10/5): - They provided a good breakfast
- Isaac (2/5): - Checked in to our room, 224, on July 4th. Dropped our suitcases off and took off for dinner and fireworks. Got back to our around 10:30 and we found dead bugs on the floor, tub, and window seal. My wife looked them up and found they were bed bugs!
Went to the lobby and they gave us the room next door, 225... same issue!
We checked out and requested a refund. They agreed to give us about half the cost of room back... for 5 minutes of occupancy.
- Scott (8/5): - The place is dated. Decor was old. BUT it was clean. Smelled clean. No problems. Slept well.
- tlatuani (10/5): - Excellent
- Ryan (8/5): - The room was beat up pretty bad and there were sketchy folks hanging around the parking lot at all hours. The staff and convenience of it was the nice part but you get what you pay for with it being a budget option. All in all no real issues happened so 4 stars if you’re going cheap
- Marcia (4/5): - This motel is poorly maintained, smelled of disinfectant and mildew, had no coffee maker in the room and no hot water for tea at breakfast. On the plus side, the room was spacious enough, the shower was nice; they didn’t have TV but they had Netflix.
- Judith (10/5): - Friendly, helpful staff, large rooms, comfortable beds, pet friendly
- Amy (4/5): - Bathroom had used towels in the shower still. Very rundown. Over priced.
- Bobby (2/5): - The room smelt like cat pee, everything was disgusting. Didn’t even trust sleeping under the blanket. It was just taken over so they will need some time to clean it up but do not recommend.
- Myron (6/5): Mediocre at best - The motel and room are okay, but nothing to brag about. The place is a bit rundown but kept limping along. The hot breakfast was pretty poor.
- Mathew (2/5): - This is possibly the worst place I have ever stayed in 55+ years of traveling. Room is falling apart and smells really odd. Bed is mushy like an air mattress. Some outlets don’t work. Door lock has scotch tape holding it together. Shower/Bathroom was disgusting. Pool is gross green. I’m up super early just to get out of here. Not sure if my kids will ever be willing to road-trip with me again after this experience.
- Ryan (8/5): - It was good for the value. Huge TV was nice. But the blow dryer didn't work and looked like it might catch on fire after turning it on. The bathroom door didn't close properly either but other than that, it wasn't bad. Would stay here again.
- Stephen (6/5): - Pool was green, ac barely kept room cool. Bugs in room and tv did not work.
- Lois (6/5): - Lots of construction going on at the premises. Several sets of steps lacked handrails to safely navigate. The clerk who checked me in said "We are having trouble with the TV service" when I reported the TV would not function. About 3AM the TV came on while I was sleeping. When I reported this, the morning clerk said, " A previous guest probably left an alarm set". He did not apologize. When I asked if the TV was functional this morning, he said that it never was out of order. I asked him for some written instructions to operate it. He said it did not come with instructions. I requested he demonstrate how to operate the TV. He did come to the room but was in a hurry. I had to request he slow down and let me do each step/ It turned out to operate the TV took 4 steps to initiate. I still have not figured out how I was supposed to know this process.
The area outside my window was very noisy. Motorcycles and loud trucks were going back and forth in the parking lot until nearly midnight. I tried to call the front desk, but no one answered. About 6 AM two motorcycles revved up, waking me up again and left the parking area. Sleep was difficult.
The bed itself was great.
- Melissa (8/5): - Overpriced for what it was. Very outdated and in need of repairs.
- alberto (8/5): - Simple to get in and out
- Morgan (8/5): - Nice clean rooms. Kids had a blast at the pool. Bed was a little hard. Good overall stay.
- David (2/5): - Probably the dirtiest, shabbiest. dilapidated property I have ever stayed at. Supposed to be a continental breakfast from 6:00 - 9:00 am. Went at 6:30 am and there was not even coffee!!!!!
- Bryce (6/5): - The room was a little run down. The recliner had tears in it. Some of the light switches didn’t work. The shower didn’t drain well. The room was clean.
- Rose (6/5): - Needs upgrades
- Jonathan (2/5): - Don’t stay here. Used to be a Days Inn. Probably didn’t meet their standards. The bed was terrible. The pillows were bad. I asked for additional pillows. Never came. The bathroom in bad shape. The pool was gross. The breakfast was limited and unappetizing. What a mistake staying here.
