Guest Reviews
- Tiffany (6/5): - Outdoors smelled horrible like sewer, our room AC was set to 67(as low as it’d go) but it was 73/75 all night and was so hot. Room was clean, hotel was clean, staff was friendly. But the hot room made for a miserable night and it was so late when we got checked in and didn’t feel like waiting in maintenance after midnight already.
- Randi (10/5): - We had a great time! Rooms were very spacious and clean.
- Jim (10/5): - Nice place
- Denys (8/5): - I've stayed in Isle of Capri and then Diamond Jacks. This was nice and pretty room. Staff was professional and helpful.
- Christopher (10/5): - The property is spectacular. Only thing I found utterly ridiculous is the pool being closed until “next summer.” It’s Oct 7 and 95 degrees in Shreveport. I hope they read this and leave the pool open year round. Let the guests decide if it’s a good pool day in a Gulf Coast state!!! Website says nothing but the million dollar pool is all over it. Too bad it’s closed Oct-June. Just Dumb! …and false advertising IMO. Do better LIVE people.
- Pat (10/5): - We were there just for the night. It was a very quiet and comfortable place
- Shawn (8/5): - Nice hotel and casino !
- KAREN (10/5): - Clean and friendly
- Verlan (10/5): - Everything was lovely, clean, friendly, and fun
- John (10/5): - Very friendly staff!
- William (10/5): - Hey they were fine
- Tammy (10/5): - The hotel is wonderful, the only drawback is they don’t do room service for food.
- Tiffany (6/5): - Beautiful hotel/casino. Clean rooms comfortable beds. There is no access to any microwaves and the river view was of trees.
- Steven (10/5): - All new update really nice location, staff little lazy
- Daniel (6/5): - Newly remodeled, this hotel was nice. Only two complaints. The room still had an “old” smell. You can refinish the bathroom and replace furniture, but the mildew, funky old smell remains.
The mixed Asian cuisine restaurant was a major let down. The food had ZERO flavor. Nothing. The chicken fried rice, the chicken & broccoli, both had absolutely no flavor. Just horrible. We tried breakfast at the cafe and they brought us eggs and potatoes that were super cold! Like leftovers from a Shoney’s breakfast buffet! They was a big miss.
Positives? Definitely try Prime Steakhouse. The filet there was amazing! Perfectly cooked (well done). Still very moist, flavorful, and they didn’t have to butterfly it. The sides were tasty. Perfect dinner! The drinks were well prepared. Loved it!
- Teresa (10/5): - Me and my husband really liked this place. Planning to go back for our anniversary. Very nice staff.
- Bryan (10/5): - The Hotel was Wonderful. Staf was very friendly. Parking real convenient.
- Natalie (10/5): - It is very new and updated!
- Sharon (10/5): - Hotel was clean staff friendly trailer parking. Food and bar. Slots stingy.
- Marybell (8/5): - I thought everything was great about the property. The only thing that I did not like was that they need to put a seal under the room doors.
- Vicki (8/5): - It was ga
- Sherry (8/5): - The staff was warm and welcoming and the resort was impeccable. Would recommend!
- Janelll (10/5): - Amazing
- Nadine (10/5): - The property is amazing the rooms are great the staff needs work on my first night I asked for a blanket I end up calling front desk 4 times no blank I stayed there 4 nights no room cleaning I called for my room to be cleaned they never came I’m not sure if I would stay there again I felt ignored
- Juan (10/5): - Clean rooms and very friendly staff no complaints about the hotel itself just wish the surrounding area around the resort had shops or restaurants.
- Sharon (10/5): - Live Casino was a good choice for our trip. The hotel is very nice and clean. The staff were excellent and very helpful. We loved having the different restaurants on site so that we didn’t have to go anywhere. The casino was great. Loved the pool area and ‘Adult Time”. Would definitely stay again.
- dan (10/5): - it was wonderful
- Jamie (6/5): - No valet on week days yet no signage indicating that valet was unavailable. Sat in car for 10 minutes waiting on valet before calling front desk.
- Mendy (10/5): Excellent stay - The rooms were clean and the staff was nice.
- Georgia (10/5): Masters ! - Went for graduation at LSUS. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable. Atmosphere throughout relaxing and lively at the same time. In hotel dinning was excellent. Casino and bar were pleasant.
- Melissa (10/5): - Great stay
- Richard (10/5): Outstanding !!! - Outstanding !!!!
- Chemise (6/5): - Unable to get something to eat after 11pm on Sunday night. We went to a concert and returned in hopes to get something to eat but everything was closed.
- James (10/5): - I stay here often. Always satisfied.
- Bertha (8/5): - Loved the swimming pool. Room was very big and nice. No place to unpack for your clothes. Lights in bathroom weren’t bright enough.
- Gary (10/5): - Beautiful hotel room and pool.
- Warren (10/5): - Trip was very good hotel staff was excellent
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Overall great stay. There was a wait on the elevator whether going up to the room or coming down from the room .
- Stephen (10/5): - Closest place around that gives the true Vegas vibe
- brad (8/5): - While it’s very nice. All the restaurants were closed on Sunday, and on Labor Day. The ones that were open closed very early for being a 24/7 casino. The only option was a taken out place that then only had cheese pizza that was under cooked. The casino while small was really nice, the prime rib was excellent.
- COREY (2/5): - Would not recommend staying at this facility!!
- RIANA (10/5): - Easy check in, clean facilities, friendly staff, dining options, nice pool area. So happy with our stay
- Karla (8/5): - New and clean.
- Tiffany (10/5): - We were able to enjoy our stay comfortably! Very clean and great casino as well as updated. The pool was luxury
- Tristan (10/5): - Great time
- andrew (10/5): - Food and beverage management was superior to most hotels
- Tarin (4/5): FALSE ADVERTISING—DOES NOT HAVE EV CHARGING - We chose this hotel specifically for its listed EV charging amenity, as overnight charging is essential during a 14-hour road trip. Unfortunately, upon arrival, there were no charging stations available, which added unexpected time and stress to our travel plans. We hope this gets updated on their amenities list to avoid misleading future guests.
The room itself was also a bit disappointing, there was visible glitter and hair on the floor, which made it feel like it hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned. Additionally, we were placed on a floor under active construction, which detracted from the overall experience.
That said, the restaurant and casino were enjoyable, and the pool area out front was beautifully maintained. I don’t usually leave reviews, but the inaccurate amenity listing directly impacted our trip, and I felt it was worth sharing.
- Annie (10/5): - Hotel was very nice and clean. Staff was exceptionally polite.
- Heather (10/5): - Really nice hotel
- Crystal (10/5): - Beautiful property. Clean and comfortable
- Denise (10/5): Highly Recommend - Super clean and up to date. A very enjoyable stay for a couples getaway.
- Antoinette (10/5): Should’ve spent more time in comfy bed - Everything about our stay was wonderful. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious!! The staff were welcoming and friendly, even though we didn’t get to the restaurant until fairly close to closing as we were driving across country and had only stopped for the night to rest. We decided to take stroll through the casino and had a little fun while we stretched out after driving all day. The huge shower had great water pressure & included everything one needs to shower so no need to unpack everything. Finally, we had a restful nights sleep on the memory form mattresses with very comfy bedding rarely experienced in regular hotels.
- Todd (8/5): - Room was clean and comfortable, but just the bare essentials: no extra blankets, terrible coffee in the room, rust stains in bottom of tub, only two tiny water bottles in mini fridge, two bath towels for two nights. Too expensive for what you get.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Food options were really good. They put us in a room next to ongoing construction and it was very loud
- Tyler (10/5): - Staff members are very professional and welcoming. Management seems to be well trained and organized.
- EUTUNDRA (10/5): - great
- Danny (4/5): - Vomit in the parking garage, AC in our room didn’t work, stayed at 74 degrees, room was clean, was warned by staff not to walk around outside after dark
- Darin (10/5): - Great new hotel and casino. Great with my little dog also. Great time!
- Dwanna (8/5): Finally - I always get anxiety coming to Shreveport because the hotels leave allot to be desired. Thank you LIVE for the pleasant surprise!
- Aaron (10/5): - Great property!
- victoria (4/5): Fire Alarm from HELL! - The hotel and casino was very clean. We enjoyed our stay until 12:30am when the fire alarm went off 8 TIMES!! Probably once every 30 minutes. The first time the alarm sounded we followed the instructions to evacuate walking down 11 flights of stairs. Upon arriving to the main entrance to see what was going on there were no employees to give any kind of update. We walked upon an employee and asked what was going on and she said it was a false alarm. We went to our room and within 30 minutes the alarm went off AGAIN!! No employees around to instruct us on what to do. The lack of communication was so upsetting. Finally we called the front desk and they said there was a water pipe broke and causing the fire alarm to go off. We asked for some compensation due to the inconveniences and the lack of sleep. They gave us $50 food credit. We would have just appreciated some employee/staff updates and that would have been sufficient. Please set a plan in motion in the event of this happening again. But the hotel is beautifully renovated and very clean.
- David (10/5): - The girl who checked us in was very friendly and extremely helpful i requested a lower floor and I ask abt the stairwell bc I have a Phobia and she took us and showed us where it is and gave us 3rd floor. We ask abt bands and she was so explanatory abt where the 3 areas are that play music. She was kind and never acted as if it was a bother. Smiling and friendly
- Tracy (10/5): - Beautiful hotel!
- James (10/5): - Definitely the go to place in bossier/shreveport, food was great at the two restaurants we ate at, pool was nice and clean, rooms still smell new and furnishings were very nice, casino floor was huge and well kept this place feels closer to hotels in Vegas than Shreveport
- April (10/5): - Beautiful hotel. New pool. Large room.
- Annie (10/5): - Live was very nice, clean, fun, new and perfect for an overnight stay!!
- Karime (8/5): - Na
- Paul (4/5): Don't bother - Not recommended. To the positive, the room was huge, a multigenerational room. And it was new. But...
The toilet was broken, the housekeeping was missing, and there was no basic furniture. For example there was no dresser for me to sort clothes. And the restaurants were expensive!
- Jeremy (4/5): - The $300 room was hot, and it was hard to sleep. The AC would not cool below 68 degrees. I called the staff and was told that all rooms thermostats are locked to go no lower than 68. Would never choose this casino hotel in Bossier City again.
- Melba (4/5): - I didn't like they do not clean up your room unless you ask them to do it. Pay too much for that.
- Ayla (2/5): - They room was jot clean you can tell the sheets hadnt been changed plus the didnt have a king so they put me in a fouble queen andvwhen i went down to the casino to play they treated me horribly. I ended checking out the same night and just canceling my plans
- Darren (10/5): - Everything
- Zachary R. (10/5): - Really nice, clean, and great service.
- Richard (10/5): Great hotel - Everything was nice, clean rooms, friendly staff great casinos overall the best
- Robert (10/5): - Great
- Mark (10/5): - The pool and eating plus clubs in the casino
- Lee Ester (8/5): - the room was nice and over prices
- Jeanine (6/5): Frustration overload… - Rant-1. No early checkin so at 3pm I stood in line for 70 minutes to get a room key, shift change at desk with 50 people in 4 lines getting frustrated. 2. My husband was denied a veterans players card after giving his DD214 of which the cashier mgr in the casino refused to honor..she wanted a VA identification card which he doesn’t have, we found a Exec. Casino host (Nick) who was a vet, he went to the cashier and had her give him one. 3. The refrigerator in our room had been left open so the control panel was frozen with ice, I reported it to the HK person at the time of checkin, she would put in a work order. At 10pm no one had come to fix it, I called the front desk twice only to be put on hold for 5 min each time. I finally dressed and went to the parking garage and got the refrigerator cooler we have and plugged it in and transferred our food & medicine to that and I put towels on the floor, unplugged the frig and thawed it out over night so the next guest wouldn’t have the same issue. This was out 1st time at the hotel, we chose it to see if it could be our new stop on our trip to Texas that we make 3-4 times per year from Florida…after all of the issues we will evaluate and decide if the frustration is worth a second try. We travel extensively, we try to keep an open mind but for a brand new hotel only open since spring of 2025 they need to get it together.
- Franchane (10/5): - This hotel was great! The bed was so comfortable, I didn’t want to leave. I will definitely come back.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Way to high of a incidental hold - The hotel was beautiful but when I checked in there was a $150 incidental charge for each room so $300 altogether which was more than I paid for the rooms. The hotel staff told me it would be released as soon as i checked out but that was a lie because i contacted my bank and they said it was not released and now we have to wait for it to happen and we did not budget for this. When I booked the rooms it said that there was a $35 incidental hold not $300.
- Vernessa (10/5): - I absolutely love this property!! I will definitely come back!!
- Candy (10/5): - I really enjoyed my stay at Live! Actually the best hotel I’ve stayed in for a while. The room was clean, the bed was VERY comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. Check-in was not fast, but got better. The location was great — close to everything I needed. Beautiful pool area with big screen TV. Nice restaurants!
I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. Thanks for a great experience!
- Dwan (10/5): Best hotel experience - I booked this hotel aftet a bad experience from another "hotel". My family and absolutely loved it. We will be going back.
- Sarah (8/5): Weekend stay - The hotel side was beautiful and the check-in/check-out employees were super friendly!
Took us almost an hour to get to the room from arriving on the property because we parked in the parking garage, not realizing there was no access to the hotel from it other than to carry our luggage through the casino. Backtracking to the car and waiting in the garage traffic jam was ridiculous! Driving back to the hotel side there was very limited parking so we had to drive back to a mid section casino side and walk to the entrance. For future, a parking garage for the massive hotel side would be great!
- Keith (10/5): - Great new property.
- April (2/5): - Rooms are dirty, staff is rude and unhelpful. Will never stay here again.
- Nikolaus (10/5): Great Experience! - My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Our room was clean, bed was comfy, and the blackout curtains were a plus for sleeping in. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed spending time at the pool, and the outdoor bar was a plus. I would definitely return!
- Stacy (6/5): Sasha's Adventures - For being a new hotel the room was very disappointing. The first room the toilet backed up. The second room the shower had drainage issues. There were broken tiles in the restroom. There was no exhaust fan in the restroom. The hotel was beautiful at a glance but disappointing when you really look at it. Plus the front desk staff was busier chatting then checking in guests.
- ROBERT l (10/5): - It was okay
- Kimberly (10/5): - Great and beautiful property
- Monica (10/5): - Yes, New York was in the HOUSE! My 1st time here at Live Boissier City& I loved the location because it was close to my family that we were visiting. My husband loved the pool. The bed, spacious room, & bathroom was very nice and clean. The restaurants and shopping was great. I didn't hit big on the tables though lol but did catch a performance. My entire experience was wonderful! Keep it up! I plan to return.
- Anecia (10/5): - A microwave would have been a welcome addition to the room. The rugs in the bedroom and bathroom space did not align with my preferences, and the absence of a shower rail was concerning. Additionally, the corner of the room was somewhat dusty, and a more thorough vacuuming and mopping would have been necessary. The bedding was clean and comfortable.
- Keesha (10/5): - Very nice staff and clean facility.
- Martin (10/5): - It was new, clean and the staff were super-friendly and helpful. 5-Stars to everyone.
- Joey (10/5): Great place with not so good servers in the casino - Overall the stay was great. Better drink before you go because I didn't get served a drink while gambling. I was in the casino for a few hours
- Dawn (2/5): - Place was a copy of Windstar casino in Oklahoma, waitresses would not wait on us, had to go pay for the beer, this isn't Oklahoma I didn't like it, machiness bets are to high and don't pay out like they use to.
We were disappointed.
- Marlon Topacio (10/5): - Everything was nice. Just needed to add more dining options.
- Dina (8/5): - Easy check in . Friendly staff!
- Leopoldo (8/5): - Nice
- phillip (10/5): - it's super nice
