GEORGE (10/5): Fantastic stay - Our stay was great. We were there as a stop on a longer trip. We stayed two nights. We were less than 5 minutes from the Magnolia Market an Magnolia Table. They also had a beautiful park (Cameron Park). It had lots of unique bronze statute of animals. There were also full sized statues of horses, cows, and cowboys along the road in town. It looked like a cattle drive. Very cool to see. All of this was within 2 miles if our hotel. The staff was great. The room was really nice, plenty of outlets for all our electronics and comfortable sofa and desk chair. Very efficient check in and check out. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

A refreshing cup of coffee was conveniently available in the breakfast area, even outside of the designated breakfast hours, which greatly enhanced our overall enjoyment.

Fresh towels, small decorations with folding the towels and toilet paper made it feel like thought went into taking care of the hotel. This hotel is located at the heart of Waco with easy access to the Magnolia Silos and all the cute places downtown. I would recommend this hotel as a nice safe place to stay.

Daniel (2/5): - Hate hotels that put a limit on the thermostat so you can’t make your room colder, some of us sleep better with a colder room and like the option of the fan running constantly for white noise and it helps drowning out any other noises. I understand you trying to save money but let’s be honest if the guest isn’t happy chances are they won’t come back and they’ll give bad reviews like I am… take the darn limiter off the thermostat!!!!

Angie (6/5): Beautiful and Convenient, but had issues - The hotel is new, so had the new smell still, that was nice! I loved the black washcloth that had make-up embroidered on it! Now....the hot water..it to me, after running the water for 20, yes I said 20 minutes BEFORE it got hot!! I had enough time to go down to office and back and it was still cold. My mom was in next room and she had the same issue the say before. The eggs and omlets were very dry and bland. Definitely the powdered kind. No sugar free option for syrup.

Thomas (8/5): Great Hotel without a pool. - I always try to book Holiday Inn Express whenever I travel, and this trip was no different. The Hotel was outstanding, with one exception. It didn't have a pool. My younger son was looking forward to swimming, so you can imagine his disappointment. Outside of that, great Hotel.

Verified traveler (10/5): Clean, safe, night shift baddie approved - The entire property was immaculate. I asked at the front desk on my way put if the hotel was new because of how clean it was. Staff was very kind, location was perfect, breakfast was well stocked, and coffee available all night. Lots of storage in the room. For us night shift baddies that can't get on a day shift schedule on our days off... check out is at 12pm. I forgot to ask for a late check out, but it did say that was an option. Quiet during the day as well. I felt safe here as a solo female traveler. Parking lot is well lit, even if you have to park in back. Saturday morning farmers market is right across the street.

Verified traveler (8/5): M - The hotel was clean and bed comfortable. It was lacking in towels in room. I forgot my laundry bag and needed a bag for clothes. It took asking 3 staff members before anyone understood what I needed. It was a little frustating since checkout was at 11AM and not 12 Noon, as most hotels. Overall it was a good experience and would return if in the area.
John (8/5): Clean hotel, friendly staff. - Breakfast, unless you got there early, was usually slim pickings. Both days I went around 8:45-9am, and was almost out of eggs, as was out of the meats when I hot there. Hotel is clean and only 5-6months open. No pool, no coffee maker in rooms (however, it says you can request one), but they have 24hr coffee on demand in the lobby. .

Verified traveler (4/5): Gouging for Baylor graduation - Stayed over Baylor graduation weekend. Obviously the hotels take advantage. We paid $350 a night for a 2 star hotel. Shower door wouldn't stay closed. There was pink scum on the top of the shower tile, bathroom door wouldn't stay open, bed was hard and uncomfortable. AC was blowing hot while "idle." Hotels should not be able to gouge customers trying to celebrate a happy time with families.

Good job Romeo, thanks for hearing us and trying to make our stay better. Rosa was very kind and made sure I had a warm biscuit to go with my breakfast. Thank you for the hospitality Rosa! The fire alarm did go off at 5am my first night which was terrible as I had only had 4 hours of sleep the night prior and was looking forward to a good night’s rest. It did appear that they were remedying the malfunction later that morning as I saw a fire truck in the parking lot. Very nice large rooms and staff kept it clean everyday for me. I did notice my door was not completely closed one day (I didn’t understand why I was having problems with my key card.) I used my sister’s room to access my room, because we had adjoining rooms, and noticed the door hadn’t completely been closed after the room had been cleaned.
