Guest Reviews
- James (8/5): - It was ok
- Tannis (10/5): - Very comfy bed!
- Steve (10/5): Hometown Inn - Hometown Inn was close to interstate, many restaurants and a Walmart. The owner/manager, Sunny, is extremely friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were very clean. No issues with Wi-fi or TV. My wife and I felt the room was very comfortable and would definitely stay again if were in the area again. I recommend Hometown Inn to anyone traveling to, through or near Berea, Ky as a great to spend a couple of nights.i
- Shelley (10/5): Comfy beds - Great location, close to i75, shopping and food. Hotel is a little dated but overall a good place to stay. Front desk was very nice and accommodating. Would stay here again.
- Isaac (10/5): - Best Berea Inn!
- richard (10/5): - Friendly at tentative staff
- Cheryl (10/5): Inexpensive, CLEAN and Friendly Staff - We travel a lot and stay in a variety of hotels, motels and Airbnbs. We were pleased with this hotel. It was extremely clean, in a good location, quiet and the price was very reasonable. Staff was friendly upon arrival. It sits up on a hill and the hotel had even added several tables and benches so you could relax, enjoy the view or have a bit to eat.
- Arthur (10/5): - What a comfortable room! Clean, updated, we slept soundly all night after the watching a spectacular sunset from our window!
We will be comback’
- Frank (10/5): - Very clean and affordable. Owner is on site and very kind and conscientious.
- Robert (10/5): - Very nice place, easy parking, very clean rooms. Pleasant service at the check-in!
- Sherri (8/5): - Location was very convenient to the highway, stores and restaurants. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean even though outdated. My only complaint is the air conditioner was noisy, I heard it kicking on and off all night but it did cool the room very well.
- Tammy (10/5): Clean, economical, comfortable - Older. Renovated motel but extremely clean. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Air conditioner was a little noisy but overall a great experience. Would definitely go back. It was close to Renfro Valley where we attended a concert and didn’t want to drive home that evening.
- Ellen (6/5): - For under $70 this place does hit the mark. You get a clean room. The bed was freaking horrible. I don't know what it was but I hurt all over the next morning. The pillows were good but the bed was hard. No bugs, yes they have soap and shampoo. Towels but not enough hand towels and rags for a double room.
Other than that, I booked through Expedia. When i arrived, they tried to charge me an additional fee per person stating that i did not enter the correct number of guests. I quickly explained that I did and I showed them the booking which showed I had entered the correct number of people.
There was some back and forth, but they honored the price on Expedia. And were not rude but I was extremely irritated about the possibilities of extra fees when I had entered the correct information.
- Stephanie (10/5): Highly recommend. - Fantastic mom and pop motel! So cute! Took care of everything we needed! The owner was super friendly. Will definitely stay here again if we’re ever in the area again!
- Vicki (8/5): Adequate - This is an adequate hotel for a quick, overnight stay. Room was clean and bed was comfy. I have 2 small complaints; the room smelled very stale upon entry....definitely needs some air fresheners. Also, the a/c unit was very noisy.....not just the usual hum like most units but had a "rustling" noise every few seconds that was very annoying. The cost was low so i would probably stay here again.
- Paul (10/5): - This is a great “mom and pop” hotel. One of the best places I’ve stayed for value - and rest. Felt baked, welcomed and even slept 9-hours!
- Isaac (8/5): - It was extremely nice! Very clean altogether. My only complaint is that the shower would smell weird once the water starts running for a few seconds.
- Matthew (10/5): - It was a great, affordable stay
- Katelynd (8/5): - I happened upon this property mostly by accident, and I’ve never stayed at a motel before, but I have to say my stay was not bad at all. Sunny, the owner (I believe), was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The bed was clean and the room was bug-free. The shower was clean as well as the toilet. There is a fridge, tv, & the air conditioner worked very well! I appreciated that the floor are laminate and not carpet. All of the linens smelled of bleach. I really did feel safe sleeping there at night. This Inn was affordable and clean.
- Joey (10/5): - Perfect for the price, just what I needed!
- Margaret (10/5): Colorful Berea Bargain - So, this is an older motel, right off the interstate, that has been purchased by new owners who are lovingly renovating it. I love how colorful it is, & the art/murals that adorn some of the walls. My room was spacious, clean, & very comfortable. I was pleased to see it also included a microwave & a sizable mini/fridge, both new-looking & clean. The owners were very nice folks. And the room rates simply can’t be beat! A great coffee shop/cafe’ is just across the street - a perfect place to grab breakfast in the morning.
- George (10/5): - The view of the sunset from this place is amazing — there is even a nicely laid out sitting area to view the sunset
- LARRY (8/5): - Very clean and comfortable room!
- Pam (8/5): - This is an older motel that the owners have put a lot of effort in to make it a comfortable, clean place to stay. The staff was friendly. The bed and pillows were to our liking. The price was great. I’d stay there again.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Very nice check-in personnel! Room very clean.
- Nona (10/5): - This is an older none chain motel. The room was very clean and comfortable! The owner was very kind and very quick. Unfortunately the remodeling debri was blocking areas of walk. But as far as the room was very nice.
- David (8/5): - Place was clean, bed was very comfortable. Basic, but good value for money
- Art (6/5): - Price was right, staff friendly. There is obvious effort to improve the property. Hotel moving in the right direction.
- Montana (6/5): - A typical circa 1980s dated motel not hotel. Ok for a 1 night stay, but still too pricey. Aside from old, the room was clean and everything worked fine. Very friendly staff. Many eating options close by. Call the motel directly to book for a better rate.
- Catherine (10/5): - Wonderful staff and comfortable rooms! If you're ever in the Berea area, stop in!
- Tammie (10/5): - The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. They are remodeling so the outside wasn't as nice as the inside. The room was exceptionally clean. We are used to sleeping on a memory foam mattress topper so the bed wasn't as soft as we like but still comfortable. The price was very good! Would definitely stay there again.
- Sarah (10/5): - Staff was amazing and room was perfect for a night get away
- Virginia (10/5): - Great value! This budget hotel has nice sheets and towels. Clean. I travel this area and will stay here again.
- Don (8/5): Friendly people - Comfortable bed, good water pressure.
No road noise.
- David (10/5): - As I understand it, this was a Knights Inn that closed permanently, and new owners took over. They are really friendly and helpful. They are in the process of rehabbing the property, so it may look dated, but I'm sure the updates will be terrific. I will definitely stay here next time we are in town.
- Mike (10/5): - The motel has been closed for a while but the new owners have taken over and they are going full blast with a renovation, but it didn’t disturb us at all. To me, the very best thing was the beds, they were so very comfortable and you have real pillows, not pillow cases with a lump in them!
Would I stay there again, yes, on my return trip tomorrow!!
- Randal (10/5): - Very friendly staff. Very comfortable. Very nice for the price.
- Diane (10/5): - The owners are very professional and friendly. Check in was a breeze.
Close to the HWY with no noise. Restaurants and Walmart are near. I would definitely stay there again if I was in the area.
- Isabel Marquez (10/5): - The new management is very friendly and our room was clean and comfortable. Overall a good stay!
- Arthur (8/5): - Nice older motel. Wonderful owners. Quit area, away from freeway traffic.
