Guest Reviews
- Linda (10/5): - The train noice was terrible, but the motel really has no control over this. Jimmys kitchen attached to the hotel serves excellent food items. Especially the pizzas!
The motel hostess at the front desk was so helpful, always checking in with us on our opinion of the premises, did we need extra towels etc. Overall, we would certainly stay again
- Cheryl (10/5): - We had a wonderful overnight stay. Front desk staff were very efficient and friendly . It was nice to be able to have a refreshment in the pub after a long drive. Although we didn't use the restaurant facilities it was nice to have the option. Loved the shopping that also was available. Definitely will make this stop again.
- Myrna (8/5): - Staff were wonderful and helpful!
- Gena (10/5): - The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were made to feel welcome and will definitely stay again.
- Mukesh (10/5): - Very professional and helpful staff with clean room and washroom.
Highly recommend this place.
- judy (8/5): - Very clean, good beds and pillows, nice people, dated decor.
- Zach (6/5): - Rooms are clean, staff is amazing, however the building is pretty outdated so expect a loud or not working AC. the breakfast provided, while simple, is it good quick option and nice to have at the price point.
- Lasse (10/5): - Clean and comfortable regular motel off the highway.
- don (6/5): - essentially accommodation for truckers
- Shane Andrew (10/5): - The staff was extremely friendly, like personality plus. Rooms were clean and location was good. Would stay again anytime!
- Joshua (8/5): - H
- Barbara (10/5): - They were very accommodating. We requested a certain type of room and got it. The charge for having a dog was reasonable since they have to wash all
- Alan (8/5): Don't expect too much - Expectations shouldn't be too high for a Motor Inn but it wasn't bad. Bed wasn't very comfortable and we couldn't get the TV to work. But staff were very prompt at coming to the room to fix it. We had to wait a while for front desk staff to come to check us in since they also work in the bar. There were stains in the bathroom sink and on the carpet and the walls were a little dirty. But staff were friendly and the best place to stay in Maple Creek.
- James (10/5): - This motel was clean and quiet. It was nice that management offered breakfast which was not expected.
- William (8/5): - Improving the property
- Deirdre (10/5): - A nice old-style family motel. Very friendly staff and a quiet spot off the Trans Canada.
- Marie (8/5): Saskatchewan Manitoba road trip. - The hotel was a pleasant experience. It is very clean with all the amenities. Breakfast is available 24/7 with cereals, bread, peanut butter etc. No coffeemaker or microwave in the rooms but always available in the breakfast room. Very accommodating staff.
- GARRY (4/5): - nothing unique. it is a tired old motel, Needs an upgrade.
- Gale (6/5): - Queen beds advertised, but they are doubles. The whole place could use an overhaul.
- Ritva (10/5): - Clean
- Mervin (10/5): Maple Creek Motor Inn - The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is very old, the beds need to be updated.
- Dennis (8/5): - Good stopover.
- Toni (8/5): - Affordable stay. Friendly staff. Clean comfortable rooms.
- Jackie (6/5): - Lack of breakfast options, no decaf coffee
- Verified traveler (10/5): Perfect staying place with family - We wanted to visit Cypress Hills, this was the best option to stay, about 40 minutes drive out there. The staff was very cooperative. We did a late check-in but the manager quickly helped us out. The common area was open for water, breakfast which made a lot easier to manage our mornings and evenings with kids to stay there. I would highly recommend to stay at this place.
- Gena (10/5): - I liked that it was clean and we are always treated well by the staff. The breakfast is adequate. Timmy’s is nearby if a person wants to top it up.
- Kathleen (4/5): - Not at all like site photos. Very 1970’s , and needs a lot of upgrades to flooring, wall finishes. Had a musty smell. Poor quality beds, linen ok. Room was cleaned as best it could be.Unsafe food practices for breakfast.
Did not feel safe with unsecured outside & room doors.
- Jason (10/5): - Friendly staff. Clean room.
- Barry (6/5): - Property is very worn . Stayed here because other reservation cancelled.
- Richard (10/5): Great place in Maple Creek - Great place to stay. Clean room. Great staff. No issues with check-in or check-out. Would recommend.
- Martin (10/5): - Very handy to access Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park.
- Gena (10/5): - The staff were welcoming and friendly. They accommodated us where they could, easily and without a fuss. The room was clean and the shower was very nice in our room. Bed and pillows were very comfortable.
- Sally (8/5): - Light refreshments were provided in a Common Room. This was unexpected and a nice bonus.
- Jake (10/5): - The staff here was very friendly and polite. Room was nice, and the fried chicken was pretty good too!
- Earl (2/5): Hole in Sask - Dump smells bad bed was wore out room was cleaned but not clean
- Donna (8/5): - This property is under new management. I am unsure when this happened. The main door is heavy to open. The lobby was clean and refreshing. As I was feeling unwell, I checked in a couple of hours before the check-in time. They were wonderful at accommodating me. Though she didn’t say her name that I can remember, she was all smiles and warm in greeting me. The room itself didn’t have a microwave or telephone though it was clean and had all of the other requirements. It had two remotes, but only one operated the TV. The air conditioner was high on the wall. As I am short statured, it was difficult for me to use it. Their common room for Breakfast was next door. No hot meals were provided, only cereals with milk, juice, coffee and tea. Bread for toast as well. There is a restaurant on site but it's not open early morning and under different owners. There is a bar onsite as well. It seems pretty quiet for a weekend. To get to the restaurant, one has to walk through the bar or go around the outside. This is the first motel one sees when entering the townsite from the north. Again, the people were nice, friendly, and accommodating. I would stay here again.
- cath (8/5): - The people that have take over the property are doing a great job. Vera was so helpful and made us feel very welcome.
The property is very clean although dated. Plenty of hot water great water pressure. Clean comfy beds.
It was a great convenient reasonably price stop off on our journey.
The breakfast room was a welcoming little place, well thought out for a quick snack and a coffee before hitting the road.
- John (10/5): - First time staying there but definitely won’t be my last. Staff was extremely friendly and explained all features they had. Room was clean, bed was super comfortable. Highly recommend staying if your in Maple Creek for a night or a week.
- Maurice (10/5): - Staff very friendly and helpful, made us feel at home.
- Sylvia (6/5): Old but good - It’s a ok place to stay . The bed is clean and comfortable.it’s a large room. You can have coffee 24/7. There’s bread and jam and peanut butter in fridge. I would stay there again
- LILY (8/5): - The room was clean and had upgrades. The TV remote needs to be replaced as I could barely read the numbers. A coffee maker in the room would be nice. The exterior needs to be remodeled. The restaurant food was great.
- Catherine (8/5): - Lovely friendly family affordable hotel, growing pains as they just took over recently and have many plans. Perfect hot showers, room was very clean and their friendliness shined! Vera worked for the Sheraton hotels so she aims to please and knows her stuff. No coffee makers or microwaves in room but common room has one with finger foods to munch on and very handy. Very tasty food in attached family restaurant for lunch/dinner, the usual pub fare, drinks in pub quenched our thirst while watching the hockey games. A few VLT’a if feeling lucky too. Great place to hang your hat while strolling through the unique shops of Maple Creek and/or
enjoying the rodeos and Cypress Hills hikes :)

- WING HONG (4/5): - Claimed under new management but not equal to improvement. Property and room amenities are outdated and not properly maintained.
- aman (10/5): - A good place to stay, vehicle hotel with big parking.
Beds are nice, rooms are clean.
