Guest Reviews
- Garnet (2/5): - Just don't do it. This property would receive 0 stars if app would let me. Run down and terrible property. Rotten area, sketchy people everywhere. This property should be renting rooms by the hour if you know what I mean. Avoid at all costs. Sleeping in your car is a better option.
- Shawn (2/5): - Besides the initial check in, the stay was absolutely the most horrible experience we’ve had at any hotel. EVER! Honestly, the building should be condemned. The room was dirty. The tub looked like it had never been cleaned. Missing cover on the bathroom vent. It stunk. There were dirty clothes left behind that had been stuffed into a cabinet. The door appeared to have been busted in a few times. We had booked two nights. After the first night, we left for the day and took all of our belongings out of the room in fear of returning to items being missing. Our second night there, someone tried to get into our room as they had been given the room for the night. The owner then came to our room because it was dead bolted. He asked why we were still in the room. After being told that we booked for two nights, he argued with us. Saying we only booked one night for the price we had paid. He was told that there was no way we would have paid that price for one night. After showing him our booking, he still didn’t believe us and said he would check on it. After going downstairs and continuing to speak about this, for a few minutes, he finally admitted it was a mistake and said sorry. However, this all occurred late at night when we were sleeping. We will never return to this hotel and would not recommend that even your worst enemy stay at this hotel. TOTAL DUMP! I’m leaving some details out on purpose because it was THAT BAD! Negative stars if it were possible.
- Anthony (2/5): - Paid for the room and couldn't even stay there was told they gave the room to someone else that booked last minute
- Laura (4/5): - Was charged additional $30 upon arrival for cleaning fee. Note I paid close to $400 for two nights. Did not feel safe. Bathtub was disgusting.
- Aprill (4/5): - This hotel was just a bit sketchy. It’s what I would expect at half the price. The first red flag should have been the lack of photos available on the listing. The sheets were clean and that’s really the only positive thing I have to say. If you’re paying more than $50 a night here you’re paying too much.
- Andra (2/5): - Dirty room. Smelled like weed. Dirty facilities. Felt unsafe.
- Amanda (4/5): - I felt unsafe when staying on the property: i.e. behavior of other residents, physical appearance of hotel. "NO GUESTS AFTER DARK" type of sign. Security door to enter lobby where my room was. $30.00 room key charge I did not see when booking with this hotel. Lesson learned.
- Brian (4/5): - This is probably the lowest rung on the ladder. I always try to remain positive, but this place is barely habitable. The bathroom and shower were SO dirty, I didn't even want to use it. It's about as spartan as you can get. 2 towels. That’s it! No washcloth, no hand towels. I realize this is no luxury place. But...
- John (4/5): - You should delete this property. It was over rated in your rating system.
- Anton (2/5): - It was terrible experience
- Cameron (2/5): - Very very dirty
- Krishnaswamy (2/5): - Room had a musty odor, that kicked in when AC turned on
Bathtub was dirty bathroom door lock had issues
Door had been kicked or banged in.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Crackhead corridor!! - I booked a room on Hotels.com and chose pay at property. When I arrived~ the property was horrendous! The grass was not cut, there were broke down trucks and junk everywhere. So, I go in to check in and the whole office area had a marijuana smell and its posted right on the door that its prohibited. It was after 4:00 when I arrived and they told me my room wasn't ready. They asked me to wait 30 minutes. So, I went and got aome food and drinks and when I returned ~ they rented my room. Such horrible business!! I am glad I didn't stay there tho~ crackhead city!! A drug deal happened right in front of us~ in front of the office and a young lady was digging in the trash outside the office door. Unbelievable! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I wish I wouldve thought to get pics...
- Verified traveler (2/5): Wish i didnt have to choose any stars - I travel alot. Sometimes alone, sometimes with a group. Well this particular leg of my trip i was alone. When i first arrived i noticed there were broke down vehicles on blocks in the parking lot, then there was heavy duty machinery that looked to be broke down as well sitting in the front. On the check in counter there was personal mail laying there from the state (almost like ppl lived in the hotel, and they had the court systems looking for them). Then i get checked in, my room keys were made, i walked to my room, the AC only had half the buttons on it, and no way to turn it on or off without plugging it in and unplugging it. The bath tub was discolored and rust stain spots all over it. Needless to say, i did not shower or bathe while i was there. The first night i went to bed fairly early (and i was scared for my life, slept with protection if you can follow). Get up the next morning go to get ready for the day and i can't find a trash can in the bathroom, since they have a sink vanity in there instead of a pedestal sink or some sort, i looked under the sink cabinet.......only to find an empty vodka bottle. The mattress felt and sounded like you were sleeping on styrofom. And when i went to check out early the next morning, the gentlemen working the counter didn't know how to use the card machine to refund my deposit. Acted like i needed to stay at least another 4 hours until the normal people came in. So i checked myself out and issued my own refund.
- Tim (2/5): - Smelt like weed, walls were nasty, and weird crowd in and out of the place
- Charles (2/5): - Desk clerk did not honor my Expedia reservation
- Johanna (6/5): - I was looking for an inexpensive place to stay on a longer trip driving north. Staff was friendly and room was clean. Seems like a place that has long term residents...families, retirees, folks working in the area. Not walkable to restaurants but ALDI and fast food places nearby.
- Chris (2/5): Unbelievable - Despite what Larry says, this is a flop house, I booked a room a day in advance, arrived and drove around the building and drove right back off. I would rather waste 70 bucks than risk my life. Totally misleading pictures and bogus 10/10 reviews by the same two people. Dont fall for this trap.
- Austin (4/5): - - SKETCHY area. Suspicious-looking individuals roaming about; brick in the middle of the street before you enter parking lot; bulletproof glass at the motel and gas station down the street; garbage around the property, presumably from guests; man was arrested or at least detained when we went to the gas station down the road on a Sunday morning.
- Avoid this location if you can. Whatever you are saving financially is not worth the stress and discomfort of the area.
- Pictures are brighter and cleaner than the reality.
- Room was in a downstairs hallway. Dark, random furniture placed about, dirty, lots of plaster repairs on the walls and ceiling.
- Room itself thankfully had a clean bed and no bugs. Bathroom csn cover is missing; exposed dusty blade. Bathroom floor tiles all cracked and broken. Walls scratched up. Door is old, cracked, and messy.
- TV didn’t work. But, that was the least of our concerns.
- Bottom line: avoid if possible. If it’s the only thing available for one night, then it’ll be okay if you’re just adults. I would never bring a child here.
- Francisco (10/5): - Great
- Francisco (10/5): - Great place to sleep
- Verified traveler (2/5): Nasty - Dirty nasty super rude owner. You couldn't pay me to stay there. Druggies in parking lot.
- Rhonda (2/5): Don’t go here - This place looked like a tornado had been through it. The remote and counters in room were sticky. The room stunk of cigarette smoke. I couldn’t stay in the room or at this hotel, it was that bad.
- Larry (10/5): - This establishment is A+
- Larry (10/5): - What a friendly face and experience. The hotel staff, service, and quality of the guest rooms were excellent. We were treated with respect by attentive staff, which can be unusual these days. Many thanks!
- Larry (10/5): - Had a pleasant stay over several days. It is my preferred hotel.
- Larry (10/5): - I can admit I love this place. The staff is amazing and helpful.
- Larry (10/5): - The prices are very affordable and the rooms were comfortable and clean. There is plenty of parking too. I will definitely be coming back soon.
- Larry (10/5): - The service from the lobby staff was friendly. The room was super clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. I liked it.
- Larry (10/5): - Staff very friendly and accommodating and that’s all you need to feel like been at home away from home.
- Larry (10/5): - Top notch room service, excellent and courteous staff, phenomenal views.
- Adam (8/5): Not bad - Average but a little sketchy. Some old holes that were patched
- Larry (10/5): - Nice place to stay. Low price but good service. Rooms are modern and well-furnished. Very comfortable sleep
- Larry (2/5): - I double charged on check in
- michael (2/5): - seedy...odd front desk person.couple upset with management.seemed like a flop house.i did not stay there.Avoid ,
- Ryan (2/5): - We had reserved a room over a week ago and they decided to give our room to another guest who paid in cash. We had no room and no empathy at 9 PM on Friday night. Absolutely terrifying to have a child with you and nowhere to stay at 9 PM. They simply told us to go somewhere else. If you reserve this terrible hotel please understand that your room is in no way promised to you.
- Rosanne (4/5): - Overall - not good place to stay!
- Edward (4/5): - Water leaking from the ceiling. Was to much. We got a refund and left.
- James (10/5): - Room was clean, entire facility was clean and quite beautiful! This place far exceeded our expectations and we will return! Pool and fitness room were simply amazing as was the hot breakfast. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Great job!!!
- James (10/5): - Needed a one night stay with kids last minute. Excellent place to stay! The entire place was soo clean which was actually quite surprising because you just don’t see that level of care in places nowadays. The heated pool was huge! The kids has a blast.
- James (10/5): - Very clean rooms. If you are staying in one of the more distant rooms it is quite a walk to the front desk or to the restaurant bar area. I was a little squished sleeping in a FULL sized bed with another adult person! The pool was beautiful and spacious I love love love the pool!
- James (10/5): - This hotel is amazing has really clean rooms and just overall very nice! However there location where it is i feel is unsafe! There is people constantly yelling and arguing and someone got there car window busted! I definitely would stay here again!
- Jennifer (10/5): - Room's were amazing, staff was friendly and pleasant. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area
- Jennifer (10/5): - Good location for Legoland visitors. Comfy beds. Nice manager. Was able to book last minute.
- Jennifer (10/5): - From the looks of things, this appears to be a lively spot for a summer getaway. I would definitely stay here again.
- James (10/5): - The staff was fantastic and very accommodating. The bar food was excellent and so were the waitresses. This was by far one of the best places we have stayed overall. Will definitely come back!!
- Jennifer (10/5): - The place and the staff personal was amazing. There area any amenities in remodelation. They bring hospitality-friendly and respectful. Thanks!
- Jennifer (10/5): - Thank you so much to staff and owners. Nice family unit working together to make you feel welcomed and safe;-)
- Jennifer (10/5): - They were very friendly and worked with me with my animals. The prices were amazing and the rooms were so clean. The stuff was on point and very kind of my situation. I will return
- Jennifer (10/5): - Giving this five stars not because of the amenities, but for 1) cleanliness 2) friendly staff 3) accessibility/proximity to Hwy 27. We came in late, after a spring training game in Lakeland, and drove up to a rather dark, empty and spooky looking building. Turns out it is being renovated. The second building was populated for sure. Fortunately we had a reservation. It was packed. Walked up stairs -- no elevator. All rooms have outdoor access.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Things are plain -- I think it's a newly renovated room and they might need to do a little bit of touchup on the paint jobs. I have been reading negative reviews, but I would stay here again if I was on this same road. The cleanliness and the comfortable bed are the biggest deals to me.
- Michael (6/5): Scary - Place looks like the 2025 verison of bates hotel. Lol
- Shawn (8/5): - Found a bug in the bathtub. Didn’t give many towels.
- Joshua (2/5): - Prepaid for a king bed and had a twin bed room. The bathroom was filthy, the shower had blood in it, the toilet was soiled with excrement, and the mirror was so dirty you could barely tell it was a mirror. The window had been left open with no screen and there were bugs everywhere. Save your money and stay somewhere else.
- Eric (10/5): Fun Area - Very very clean. Nice area to do things walking distance. Starbucks bob Evan’s Target tropical smoothie cafe marijuana dispensaries jars Bazonzoes
- James (10/5): - Bathtub was a mess
- Satish (4/5): - It’s not clean and not even a vending machine inside, room is ok though
- Christian (8/5): - Other than drugys great place
- Melinda (6/5): - They are in the middle of remodeling rooms. My room was very clean except for bathtub. The gentlemen at front desk were very nice and helpful.
The area around hotel was alright except for hotel itself. I stayed for business and wanted a cheap hotel. Once the remodeling is done it will surely attract a less seedy reputation. No bed bugs!!!! The tall manager is racist and weird
- jeni (10/5): - The property had a hard time checking me in because the payment didn't go through for them to see it so hopefully next time it will show up so its not complicated again
- Jennifer (10/5): - I liked how quite it was and staff was friendly
