He absolutely made our stay memorable and would be the reason we came back to your establishment as he made us feel like we were home. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and the morning breakfast and other facilities were great.

- Rose (10/5): - The check-in at the hotel is automated, so there isn’t much staff at the reception. However, whenever you interact with the employees, they are really friendly and welcoming. I found the rooms comfortable and well-maintained, and the hotel grounds are beautiful—perfect for relaxing. The only small downside is the location: the hotel can be a bit far from main attractions, so it’s handy to get around by tram, bus, bike, or scooter. This can get a bit repetitive if you want to go out often. Overall, I had a great stay. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touch they gave for our couple’s anniversary, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

- Rhiannon (10/5): - Such a perfect stay. After initially booking a room in central Rome we decided to change as we wanted something with a pool that was affordable. We had the best time. Although the pool and sun beds were in high demand we managed to get a space each day. We enjoyed the restaurant on site twice but didn’t eat at the pizzeria next door. We used uber to get in and out of Rome centre each day - it saved a lot of time and hassle trying to work out the transport system after seeing varied reviews. The tram opposite was super loud although couldn’t be heard from inside the hotel room. Would 100% recommend staying here and we’d return to this hotel if we were to visit again and would also seek the same brand in alternative countries.
- James (6/5): - Hotel was ok, staff friendly, had to ask for housekeeping first night, coffee capsules did not get refilled, laundry service at hotel was ok but could only use one machine at a time, I get one washer or dryer, but you could only use the washer, then the dryer, we had a couple loads to do so had to wait until dryer had finished before using washing machine. The pizza restaurant on site was really good, best pizza I ate whilst in Rome, a nice restaurant 10 minute walk away, felt safe but a few homeless people around the area.
- Simon (10/5): - Before travelling to Italy I’d never heard of or stayed in any Social Hub Hotels, but I have to say that I’m now a fan! The location in Rome is a bit out of the way, and is a 15-20 minute walk from the main railway station, though you can also get a short tram ride down to the hotel as well. In spite of this the hotel is set back off the main road and is secluded in gated grounds that make it very private and it more than makes up for its location with its friendly staff, high standard of facilities, including clean rooms with all the mod cons you’d expect, and a stunning roof top bar and pool. I can also recommend the pizzeria adjoining the hotel too, which offered some fantastic food and was clearly busy with the locals and guests of the hotel, shared working space facilities etc.

For the money you save on the nightly rate you will spend on cabs. Public transportation is limited. The pool is great, but it's really crowded and has very limited seating. 50% of staff were outstanding and the other 50% were not.

- javier (2/5): - I didn't like the fact that when i was leaving the hotel to get on the train to go somewhere else they knew about the strike on the train services and didn't suggested anything about leaving earlier that way i wouldn't missed my train that i already have paid for.not only that a day before a nice guy who was the only nice person in the hotel was patient to helped me out t9 buy my ticket online in order to guarantee my travels. I woke up at 7 am my train have to depart at 10:50am i went downstairs communicate to the guy in front and explained to him the situation about the strike and what he said to me was this. No worried the train station is 10 minutes from here. I still decided to leave at 10:00 am then everything starts there taxy never arrived to pick me up for like 25 minutes came back inside and told him about. And he said there's nothing i can do for you sorry. After i asked him earlier in the morning about leaving right away. Then he said i should be fine. He basically made me feel like i was bothering him. I didn't like the way the communicate with me. It was jot about losing my money it was more about experience vacations in italy.
- Erin (6/5): - This property is aesthetic with a lot of amenities but it is meant for students or budget travellers. Our room was dirty, and the sink was completely clogged. Told the staff and they had someone unclog the sink but they left the sink gunk on our bathroom floor after doing so. The location is not ideal… expensive taxi from the popular hot spots, hard to get an uber and really not as close to the train station as it seems. We only stayed one night or would have asked to be moved or simply booked elsewhere. Honestly wouldn’t recommend. With all this said, the staff we interacted with were all lovely, helpful and kind.

What could have been a stressful start to our trip turned into one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, the team went above and beyond to ensure our stay exceeded expectations. The hotel itself is modern, stylish, and spotlessly clean, with excellent facilities that catered perfectly for our family. It has a unique, vibrant atmosphere that immediately makes you feel welcome and relaxed. A special mention must go to Fabio, who looked after us most evenings with food and drinks. His warmth, positivity, and genuine thoughtfulness made such a difference to our stay. Fabio is a true credit to The Social Hub, and his friendly service created some of our fondest memories of Rome. We cannot recommend The Social Hub highly enough. What started as a last-minute booking became a highlight of our trip, thanks to the hotel’s amazing staff, great design, and outstanding service. We will certainly return on our next visit to Rome

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the social gathering spaces were great for relaxing after a long day touring Rome, the roof top pool was refreshing and the bar located by the pool was much appreciated. The surrounding area doesn’t offer much but the metro line right outside the hotel property got us everywhere we need to go….a short 15 minute ride right to the Colosseum! We would stay here again for sure!

- Kalateerth (6/5): - Disappointing stay at The Social Hub in Rome has been a major disappointment, despite the hotel’s promising branding and high pricing. While there are a couple of redeeming features, the overall experience has been frustrating and far below expectations. The air conditioning in our room is barely functional, which is a significant issue in Rome’s intense heat. Despite reporting the problem, it hasn’t been properly resolved, leaving us uncomfortable and restless. For a hotel of this standard, a working AC is a basic necessity that has not been delivered. Breakfast, which comes at a steep price, has been another letdown. When we asked about allergies, the staff provided vague and unhelpful answers, which is concerning for anyone with dietary needs. This lack of clarity felt dismissive and unsafe. Additionally, breakfast service ends at 10:30 AM, but the staff starts clearing food well before, showing little consideration for guests still eating. This rushed approach undermines what should be a pleasant dining experience. The attitude of some staff members has been a recurring issue. Simple questions are often met with curt or unclear responses, making it difficult to get straightforward information. This lack of warmth creates an unwelcoming vibe, which is surprising for a place marketed as a lively “social hub.” On a positive note, the bathroom in our room is modern and well-designed, which is a small plus. Additionally, there’s a great pizza at hotel
- kaitlin (10/5): - This hotel went above and beyond my expectations. It was located close to the train station and to local attractions. Everyone was so helpful with anything you needed. The pool on the rooftop was beautiful. The service was beyond exceptional. Everyone there had a smile on their face and went out of their way to help you. I would highly recommend. I would go back in a heartbeat!

- Suzanne (10/5): - The hotel itself is lovely, very clean modern and eco friendly. We paid for breakfast included and it was worth it. About €24 euros if you pay on the day. It’s a cash free hotel. It’s about a 30 minute walk to the colosseum and and hour and a half to the Vatican. For us we are happy to walk those distances but others may not be. The rooms are small, we had an executive room and there is no where to open your cases. The surrounding area is a bit run down and there is security on the gate. We are out at lunch and made the most of a good Italian lunch. There’s a pizza restaurant on site and they do food in the hotel which is reasonably priced. The pool area is small but nice. It’s right next to the Trainline so a bit noisy and the bar is limited. Overall a nice stay if you’re prepared to walk

Only downside is that the AC wont go lower than 18 degrees Celsius and in the hot August summer that doesn't make the room cool enough… You will end up sleeping without anything on top of you. Also, the lighting isn’t very bright so at night the room is extremely dark even with every single light on in the room. My phone’s flash light was brighter. Other than that I felt extremely safe, the food was wonderful, the front desk people were really nice and helpful, and it was right across the street from the tram making getting to city center and sites a lot easier.

- Jairus (10/5): - The hotel was extremely nice! It was really clean, well designed, the gym/pool/rooms were very nice. I would definitely stay at a Social Hub again. My only small complaints were at night there was no easily accessible water for guests and there was no microwave. Also, just more of a heads up the hotel was a bit of ways from center city so you definitely have to take a cab or public transportation to the sights. Lastly early in the morning about a 2-3 minute walk from the hotel gates had quite a few homeless people sleeping here and there while you were walking.

I really loved the decorum of this hotel and the staff were really helpful with upgrading my room free of charge, checking us in early and guiding us with local spots around Rome. I would come back to this hotel and I’d recommend it to others.

The breakfast buffets had incredible vegetarian and vegan options, the roof top pool was gorgeous, and the hotel common areas were spacious and well appointed. I cannot believe how lush and green the grounds are- or that the hotel occupies so much property! It’s a bit far from the typical sights that someone might come to Rome for. We were just stopping for one night and had already spent a few days in Trestevere, so we didn’t even try to get to the touristy spots. It looks like a reasonable transit or taxi ride though.

Tram line number 3 right outside and takes you straight to colosseum from where you can easy walk to other sites. Highly recommend.

It’s also incredibly close to the trams and metros so despite it being outside the city walls, I had no trouble getting around and exploring. There is a tourist tax added when checking-in but I think that is everywhere.

The location is excellent, with all the main attractions within walking distance, so we hardly needed any public transport. The atmosphere of the hotel made us feel at home. Lots of outdoor space to sit and have a drink in the sun, along with a roof top pool and bar area. Location is a little out of the way from the tourist sites, but there are two tram lines/stops within a 2 minutes walk which is helpful, and a metro stop about 15 minute walk away so the main sites are easy to get to. Rooms are a good size and beds are very comfy, air con was appreciated in this summer heat! Food eat the restaurant and bar was nice quality, with good breakfast options. There is a pizza restaurant on site too which was great! Would definitely stay at The Social Hub again!

Had to ask one of the people working at the front desk to turn the ac temp down and fan high because it was stuck on automatic - but still it was very very hot! Hallways and overall building amenities could be cleaner. There’s a lack of restaurants around the area and the restaurants in the hotel are alright. Another important thing they need is a shuttle from the airport and the train station!! The area is a little inconvenient and seems unsafe so the shuttle is very important.

- Conor (10/5): Rome's best kept secret - It is exactly what you want when traveling, especially while working. Location is not a typical tourist location but has some really good bars and restaurants near it. The property grounds however are next level and have everything you need and more. It is so good that i rebooked it straight away when my flight was canceled as opposed to staying anywhere else. Staff are also so friendly and the rooftop pool is good.

I ended up purchasing a Chromecast to work around this, but it did make the room feel a bit too quiet and less relaxing than I had hoped.

Special shoutout to Federico, the bartender with dreads — incredibly nice, welcoming, and made some great drinks. He really added to the atmosphere and overall vibe. The only downsides were the limited payment option (card only), which might be inconvenient for some, and the overpriced taxi to the Colosseum — paying €27–30 for a 2.7-mile, 9–10 minute ride felt a bit unreasonable. That said, it was still a fantastic stay.

I originally booked it for the pool, but was told it wouldn’t be available- only for it to reopen two days before our stay, forcing us to buy swimwear in Madrid. Not ideal. We arrived early in the morning and were met by an unfriendly security guard demanding proof of our reservation. After a long flight, this wasn’t the welcome we hoped for. He repeated this behavior later, asking if we had key cards. Check-in via iPad was fast and easy, with helpful staff around. The room was comfortable, especially the bed, but felt more like student housing. The modern building stood out against Rome’s historic surroundings. Being next to the train station, it was loud with the windows open, but quiet when closed. The AC worked well, and while it was a bit of a walk to attractions, public transport was right outside. The on-site restaurant served good pizza, but €50 for lunch for two felt pricey. The pool was nice but shallow and crowded. Drinks were overpriced- €14 for an Aperol Spritz you could get nearby for €5. Room service was the biggest issue: they ignored “Do Not Disturb” signs and came in uninvited, sometimes more than once a day. Overall, it was okay for the price, but I wouldn’t stay again or recommend it.
