Guest Reviews
- Leticia (10/5): - It was a very comfy very clean room comfy beds and and nice size walk in shower
- Jamie (8/5): - Check in staff were grumpy. Casino and check in area reek of smoke. Room was fine and acceptable for the high price.
- Peggy (6/5): - We chose this location because EV charging was listed on lone and promised even when we called to confirm. Sadly no charging on property and only charging was for Tesla only. On check in front desk agent asked what kind of vehicle and sent us there. Fortunately we found another charging option a mile away otherwise we would have been stranded!
You need to get this right and be honest!
- Gilbert (4/5): - Nice property. Our room was at the end of a longggg hallway…
- Erin (10/5): - Picked it mainly for the poker tournament which my husband enjoyed. Easy walk to Montego Bay to try a different restaurant. No pool at Peppermill but you can use ones at sister properties; didn’t use them.
- Michael (10/5): - Parking was easy.
- Lytha (10/5): - Last minute and easy
- Erma (10/5): - Clean hotel
- Lawrence (10/5): - Clean room, easy parking and fast check in! Very comfortable room!
- Donald (8/5): - Nice, clean and well equipped rooms. Hotel buildings are large and spread out. Lots of walking to get to room. Overall it was a nice place to stay.
- RaNae (10/5): - Clean room, nice staff
- Mary (2/5): - Not worth even explaining our experience. I will never go back there.
- Jantzen (10/5): - Nice clean room didn’t feel outdated, we got the king bed, not the softest bed but is nothing to complain about. All in all I enjoyed my stay. The check in was fast and easy.
- John (10/5): - We had a lot of fun. Good food and a very convenient shuttle.
- Edward (8/5): - Our room was so far from the elevator that it was an inconvenient, long walk to everything.
- Scott (10/5): - Nice big clean room, friendly staff, easy parking. Long walk to the room but you get used to it.
- Morgan (10/5): - Clean room!
- Michael (10/5): - No microwave in room.
Hard time to find cart to bring suitcases to room.
- Brian (8/5): - Quick stopover stay on drive across NV to the West Coast. Room was large and clean and nice. Check-in staff was great.
Was disappointed in dining/limited dining option(s). The Cantina and other bar was closed--but was a Wed night.
- RONALD (2/5): Smoke from Casino permeates all rooms - The first room I was assigned to reeked of cigarette smoke (I requested a non-smoking room). When I tried to call the front desk to change rooms, the in room phone didn’t work, forcing a 200 yard walk back to reception. They put me in a different room that still smelled of stale cigarettes, but not as bad as the first room. At this point I gave up.
- James B (2/5): - The walls were paper thin and the mattress was worse than laying on the floor. I am 6'2" and 185lbs, not overweight by no means. I would never recommend this particular location for individuals that are traveling long distance and attempting to get actual rest. Also, I was not aware of the resort fee that is charged when you check in. I was not there to gamble. I am formally requesting a full refund for that particular stay.
- Leticia (10/5): Great overnight stay - First time to stay here was very happy with the room very clean and bed was very comfy front desk people were very polite
- Barbara (6/5): - If you have ever stayed at the Reno Peppermill, don’t expect this to be similar. There is none of the elegance of the Reno hotel. It’s awkward to get into the hotel for check in (you can’t even tell where the check in is!). The restaurants have the same names as the ones in Reno, but the Mexican place doesn’t come close to the great food in Reno, and it’s twice as expensive. The name “Oceano” which is the great seafood place in Reno, is a buffet in Wendover.
If you are just looking for a nice place to stay, it’s fine, but if you are looking for the luxury and atmosphere of the Reno Peppermill, this place doesn’t even come close.
- Tracy (10/5): - Pleasantly surprised by the newly renovated rooms! Spacious, very clean and comfy beds!
- Jennifer (10/5): - Loved how clean the room was.
- Mary (8/5): - Easy parkinh
- Kody (10/5): - We came to see Gary Allan and have a great time with friends!!!
- Kim (10/5): - Our room was very clean and the hotel was clean. We went to the other hotels in the area and they were dirty. we will continue coming back because it was so clean.
- Mandi (10/5): - Nice
- Julie (10/5): - The employees were just delightful. The casino was beautiful and the room was very comfortable (although I wish the beds had fitted sheets instead of flat sheets on the bottom)
- Mark (8/5): - They changed the motorcycle parking I've used for ten years.
- Nicole (10/5): - Great property
- Debra (8/5): - We always stay here when we’re travelling through this area. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the casino is fun. The restaurant has amazing food
- Benny (10/5): -
it would BE more beneficial if the Hotel made an effort to put Senior’s rooms closer to the Casino and Restaurants. Our room was about as far away as possible making for a very long walk.
- SANDRA (10/5): - .
- Whitney (4/5): - Didn’t love some of the customer service
- Benjamin (10/5): - Very good time. Was clean. Friendly staff. Updated room.
- Danny (2/5): - Room remodel nice, air freshener way to strong husband & I could not sleep both got headaches. Bed way too soft. Restaurant hostess inconsiderate, bar tender rude, no vocal communication. Intended to stay on the way home but will cancel.Over charged resort fee.
- Steven (8/5): - Was very disappointed in restaurant quality, Service was slow, Food was edible, but restaurant was infested with fly's. I mentioned to Cashier who said they knew, but there was nothing that could be done, that answer left a bad taste in my mouth, I bet a health inspection could improve issue
- Jennifer (10/5): - Checked into our last minute booking and everything is great!
- augusta (10/5): - Everything except the good in the restaurant!
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Rude. Lousy carpet. Unexpected non marked rises in hallway causing fall. Required stitches.

- William (8/5): - Food at the restaurant's was good. The service at the xafe was slow but ok if you are a patient person. The other was great, service was great the whole experience was great.

- Michael (10/5): - No continental breakfast!

- John (10/5): - Property was a surprise in that the rooms and hallways have been renovated and it is very nice. The room was large, and very nice, with a great bed, very nicely decorated and a huge bathroom. The onsite restaurant Milano was excellent as well. The Peppermill was a very pleasant surprise and I will stop again when passing through this area.
- david (10/5): - Like the free play for new players
- Donna (10/5): - This was a really nice place to stay. Next time we hope to stay longer.
- Hollie (6/5): - The property is nice. Great staff. Room was nice. Only big complaint was the smell of cigarettes. So powerful the full casino and hotel. We had a non smoking room. However you could smell smoke coming through I would think the vents or something. The room you could tell hadn’t been smoked in, but the smell was coming in so bad we checked out early that morning my throat was sore and I just couldn’t stand the smell. The room was comfortable and clean. Just beware if you come here you will smell smoke bad.
- Jon (6/5): Better options, dated - Typical small town casino. Name brand, but noyhing like other Peppermills i have been to. Restaurants were horrible.
Played slots. 2 that i went to had buttons that didn't work.
- Kevin (10/5): - Very nice
- Heather (8/5): - Nice for a getaway
- Diana (10/5): - I've been to the Peppermill before and that is why I chose to stay again.
- Randy (4/5): - When the room next to us used the shower at 7:00a.m. it sounded like a rocket was blasting off. Same carpet in rooms and hall they've had for at least ten years. The bottom of are shoes were black after one day. Only 2 expensive restaurants and no buffet.
- Leonard (6/5): - Have always enjoyed staying at this property. It is now showing its age. Needs a refresh in every area. Very disappointed the upscale Mexican restaurant was closed on a Thursday night. Cafeteria food was boring at best! Staff all walk around like zombies! No energy anywhere.
- Karin (10/5): Quality service - Hadn't been to Wendover in many years. Was pleasantly surprised at all the improvements and Las Vegas style quality of the rooms and dining experiences.
- Sharon (8/5): - We have always enjoyed the Peppermill.
- Michele (10/5): - Everything was perfect! The room was so fresh and clean. The beds are amazingly comfortable. We will definitely stay there again!
- Sam (10/5): - Friendly atmosphere
- Kenneth (10/5): Peppermill Property Enough Said - Great Poker Room - Peppermill Property enough said.
Two sisters properties give you access to pools, one indoor and one outdoor.
Huge Bonus: Offers Poker Room with live games and tournaments.
- Jeffrey (8/5): - The room was nice, but the pool is at the other property.
- Debbie (10/5): - Loved the experience and the food was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful.
- Marc (10/5): - Nice
- Jeffery (8/5): - Very clean rooms n property
- Natalie (6/5): Not great - Played slots for 2 hours, no cocktails. Finally after asking 2 very unfriendly and unhelpful floor staff, I went to the bar and paid for drinks. No fitted sheet, a blanket that was very thin and the water didn't get very hot in the shower.
- Rebecca R (10/5): - Came for a weekend in Wendover and had a wonderful experience just like we wanted!
- William (10/5): - We patronized what I think was the first Peppermill restaurant in Reno decades ago. I don’t know if it’s the same ownership, but the company has maintained a “good enough is not good enough” ethic. It was really pretty stunning to find a property of this quality in this part of the world and at this price.
- Christopher (8/5): - It was clean. That's pretty much all you're hoping for in a hotel like this.
- gary (10/5): - Very clean room and excellent customer service
- Teresa (10/5): - Easy check in and very clean.
- Tracie (10/5): - Always clean! Best place to stay
- Andrew (10/5): - Clean room easy check in. 24 hour restaurant made a tasty salad.
- Eric (10/5): - Was good... Rooms comfortable and clean
- Autumn (8/5): - It was a real nice place to stay. They had helpful employees and the room was clean.
- Trevor (6/5): - Food options were not good.
- Kent (10/5): - The room was very nice and recently updated. It felt very upscale.
- Antonio (10/5): - Casino casino casino
- jerome (8/5): - Property was a nice place. Slots paid out great!. Coffee cafe should open earlier. Food prices are high
- Mark (8/5): Cafe Milano service was terrible - Room was nice, clean, comfortable. Check in was great. The service in cafe Milano was terrible. Multiple employees chatting by the register. The waitress did good, once she arrived. After finally getting our bill, we waited at the register, and we must have been invisible. We finally left cash for our bill, and left the change. Will try a different restaurant next time.
- Jose (10/5): - How clean the room's are.
- Troy (10/5): - The room was top notch and the service throughout our stay was friendly and welcoming.
- William (10/5): - Nice and Relaxing food was great
- Sina (8/5): - Great service from check-in to dining. Very clean and quiet room.
- Tara (4/5): - Could not check in. I lost my drivers license and they would not allow me to check in
- Karissa (8/5): - Overall the stay was amazing! However you could hear EVERYTHING in the rooms. Bring ear plugs, but overall great quality rooms besides that.
