- Anna (8/5): - The property itself was beyond amazing—stylish, spacious, beautifully designed, and absolutely breathtaking views of Tokyo and the bay and even the mountains in the distance. They just opened a month ago so they were still working out the kinks in service and information availability. The hidden cocktail bar with vinyl djs was really special. They need to rethink their no-tattoo rule in the pool. At the very least, since this hotel is catering to Westerners not just Japanese folks, they should set up tattoo-friendly hours. It was ridiculous to have to wear rash guards in the pool for the amount of money we were spending. But really the views were just phenomenal, that was worth a lot. Location is a bit off the tourist route which isn’t a bad thing. The train is just a short walk to get around. And I noticed they had bicycles to borrow (or maybe rent?) which would be nice when the weather isn’t hot.
