Guest Reviews
- Jamie (2/5): - Cone
- Lorraine (10/5): - The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. The hot breakfast had a lot of options.
- Patrick (8/5): - Enjoyable
- Donald (8/5): - A/C unit was noisy
- Edward (10/5): - Very convenient
- Brick (10/5): - Very friendly staff.
- Lester (10/5): - Had a great time
- Jason (6/5): - Clean room, very basic but acceptable
- Tammy (10/5): - The room key code machine went down during my check in. The young man at the desk stayed calm and help people get into rooms in a timely manner. Easy to go Jeff your a rock star
- Greta (2/5): - Room was too small, dirty and we were woken up at 7AM by hotel staff blaring music.
Would not recommend.
- Diane (10/5): Terrific value - Our two bedroom room was in great condition I'm very clean. Breakfast was excellent for a value hotel and we would recommend it to anyone. A terrific value
- John (8/5): - Staff was outstanding!! Very friendly. Room was clean and beds were great
- Julia (8/5): - I didnt like the parking that much and my ac refuses to shut off. However the price is right for my emergency last minute family emergency and for that im grateful. Thank you
- kirk (4/5): - Rooms not cleaned well. Front desk staff friendly but way too chatty. Chatty to the point it became a little irritating
- MICHAEL (10/5): - Great rooms for a reasonable price
- Larry (6/5): - Breakfast was good except we had the same thing for all 4 Breakfast during our stay.
Would be nice to change it up some.
We had to ask for our room to be cleaned and we stayed 4 nights. Thought that was different.
We had only one trash can and it was over flowing with trash each day. We ran out of toilet paper and kept using the same towels. At least every other day a room cleaning would be nice. When we asked one day they did clean our room I did not think we should have to ask for a room fresh up/cleaning every day. Did not need fresh sheets and towels everyday. Trash, toilet paper and some towels would be good.
Management let us know the boiler went out and we would have no hot water for that time of two days. The Manager was very helpful in providing a discount for the inconvenience.
- Dan (2/5): - Would not recommend this hotel, pics online look way nicer than it is
Started with parade(water leaking in and dripping from roof), the hotel is not its own building but part of commercial building downtown beside bar( did not feel safe), people yelling in middle of night, pulled nightstand out and was full of dirt behind it, tub was plugged as well
We asked for an early check out after one night of 3
- Lisa (10/5): - Great location to the Sip N Dip!!
- Mark (8/5): - Its a great location for the price. If they cleaned the shower prior to our arrival, then they should have noticed the drain was blocked with hair. My wife ended up removing it, than getting dressed and wait for them to fix it. Noisy A/C. Breakfast was great!
- Bill (8/5): - Room is very nice but the rest is run down
- Tristan (10/5): - Very nice and enjoyable stay.
- Raquel (8/5): - Everything was nice - room smelled a little like old smoke, but I could tell they have tried to make it better. Overall it was nice
- Dan (6/5): - Staff was friendly and very good. However, two rooms assigned to me had not been made up when I arrived (several hours after check-in time). The registration desk clerk was very apologetic, it wasn’t her fault, someone didn’t service all of the rooms.
The breakfast cook didn’t show up for work one day, leaving the employees who were there to deal with unhappy guests.
Internet was slow and intermittent, and the room above mine had a leak that dripped into my bathroom.
My rating is probably higher than deserved, only because the staff on hand were very gracious and did their best to help.
- Russ (10/5): A hidden gem in Great Falls. - It was the cleanest hotel I've ever been to, the staff was amazing, Arlo, the manager was nice. I made sure he knew how impressed I was, Crystal, Marco and there was one more girl, a skinny brunette who helped me get my luggage in. I'm disabled, they were all so helpful. The center of downtown Great Falls, and by downtown I mean Great Falls is a spec, compared to where I live in Phoenix. I grew up there and I went for my 40th reunion. It was comfortable, and a really nice room. As promised, I needed to make sure I had a good review, they deserve it and Arlo has done a great job. I'm pretty sure most of the bad reviews are prior to Arlo taking over and this incredible and helpful staff providing a quality experience for any anyone staying there. Right now they have a lot of construction going on in the area, but that's just Montana doing construction. When the weather's nice enough to do so. You can get anywhere in Great Falls in 5 minutes. There's free parking underneath, it can be a little tricky when it's busy, but I was able to park near the elevator most of the time which was convenient for me. They have a free continental breakfast. The guy doing it did a good job. Everything was spotless and clean both in the room and throughout the building. My stay was in July of 2025. Thanks again to everyone who helped me, you were all amazing.
- Jeanette (6/5): - Ok
- Michael (8/5): - Quiet place
- Liam (10/5): - 👍
- Michael (8/5): - Quiet place to stay
- Bobby (10/5): - 👍
- Rechelle (2/5): - We were originally booked for 3 nights in July 2025. There is construction all around the hotel. No noise from the actual work. We go to our room, and it’s basic, but that’s what I paid for. Was it the cleanest, absolutely not, but the beds were clean and comfortable. When we went for supper I asked for more towels, as we had 3 people in the room and minimal towels. They explained how they didn’t have anymore. ???Not even 1 extra towel, when there is an outdoor pool too? Weird, but ok.
After supper we returned. And noticed that the walls are PAPER THIN!!!!!!! And we had an adjoining room, that the door between had about a 1 inch gap, so the door wasn’t down to the floor. And we could hear our Neighbors tv, and they weren’t being super loud. I called down to see if we could switch rooms, we decided that we would use the used towels to block off the noise, but requested extra towels with the front desk. They said ok.
had a basic breakfast. Tables weren’t cleaned, but again basic is what we paid for. We left for the am, and came back and our room wasn’t made up and no extra towels. I called down about 130pm to ask if our room would be done and they asked if I have requested it to be done. Then requested the room to be cleaned the next day. I asked about new towels, as all our towels were now on the floor blocking sound from the other room. Almost every interaction with staff (except the female with the sparkly lanyard) made us feel like we were the biggest inconvenience.
- zonda (8/5): - Overall it was a good hotel.
- Kathy (10/5): - I was disappointed that there were no handicapped options. I had to borrow a shower chair. Not sure how they escaped ADDA requirements.
- Raymond (6/5): - Good value
- Cheryl (6/5): One night stop over - Was just an okay place to stay.
- Kaylee (2/5): - The room was not clean, the sheets had stains all over them. We told the front desk about our concerns and they
- Leigh-Anne (6/5): -
My recent stay at this hotel was a complete disaster. Upon arrival, I was assigned room 122, which had a leaky air conditioner. I was promised a new room, but apparently, the message wasn't relayed to Jeff, and the room was given away. I was then moved to room that was also in need of repair. My other room was 124, where the TV didn’t work. It's frustrating when basic amenities are faulty. The only saving grace was Jeff, who seemed to be the only staff member who knew what was going on. Overall, a terrible experience, and I won't be staying here again.
- Mark (10/5): - The hotel is a great place to stay
- Amanda (4/5): - We had a truck and trailer. Website said there was parking to accommodate. There was not. We had to park on the street and the location is in a less desirable part of town.
- Liz (6/5): - Hotel signage was small and hard to find, circled the block twice before I spotted it.
The continental breakfast was very disappointing. Saturday morning the only hot option was a microwaved sandwich. Juice and coffee cups were hard to find.
Sunday morning they were out of everything except water. No egg or other hot protein. Pancake machine didn't work. No milk, yogurt or cream cheese. No fruit options. Not even the microwave sandwiches.
Elevator was slow and small. Exit/staircase/elevator was hard to locate in the parking basement.
Pool was good though, clean and nice temperature.
- Jeff (6/5): - The rooms can be noisy since there isn’t much sound proofing or sealed doors. My visit was during some road construction outside of the hotel so the construction noise was noticeable early in the morning. The noise construction was no fault of the hotels. The rooms are older but were clean and the staff was willing to help with any requests. The hotel is in a good location if you need to be near the downtown are of Great Falls.
- MIchael (6/5): - At first the room appeared clean. But there w no shower towel in the bathroom, and the second night I stepped on a piece of glass that must have been from a prior client. The water pressure was terrible and water was very hard. Soap wouldn’t even lather up. And the parking garage was hard to park in. Clearance was only 6’3” going in, and once down there parking was very cramped and hard to navigate.
- Lester (10/5): - Very clean and friendly staff
- Marv (4/5): - Lousy parking
- Darcy (8/5): - Good hotel in downtown Great Falls. Staff were friendly and parking, while not initially intuitive, was underground so I had zero worries about my vehicle.
Excellent location as it is right in downtown Great Falls and is walkable to good restaurants and a lot of the art in the city
- H Matt (6/5): - This property has everything that I ordinarily want in a hotel. It has a comfortable bed, (mostly) clean bedrooms, bathrooms and public areas. Beds are comfortable. Showers work well. The room I was in had been refurbished. There was free parking in an underground parking garage.
However, there were crumbs on a chair in my bedroom, only a skeleton staff available to answer questions and assist people (though the ones who were there tried their best) and the free breakfast disappeared by the time I was able to get downstairs and people were trying to get anything they could find - which wasn't much that morning (Friday the 27th)
- t (8/5): - Ok
- Jennifer (2/5): - Worst hotel. Chens was not available until 6pm. Breakfast was not provided. Rooms were dirty
- Judy (8/5): - staff was very helpful and friendly. breakfast was pretty good. Room was clean and they are renovating so that is nice
- Roberta (8/5): - The hotel was a nice place to stay and location was very good to visit with friends.
- Kimberly (2/5): - It was not well maintained, staff was borderline rude.
- Jessica (6/5): - There was road work going on around the hotel and no clear way to access the hotel or parking. The walls are super thin and people talking loudly kept waking me and my daughter up during the night. It was tidy enough inside and the breakfast was ok.
- Ted (6/5): - Good location. Extremely noisy and loud.rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was substandard.
- christy (8/5): - We love the property as our room is in the main floor very easy fir to navigate our things. One thing i fidnt like was the noises of outsider csn be heard inside the room. But other than thats it was great hotel and goid experience.
- Michelle (8/5): Nice room for a quick stay. - Over all it was a good place to stay. The rooms were very clean and seem to be recently updated. The exterior looked a little run down and the lobby is somewhat complicated to get too. The premises didn’t seem too secure and anyone had access to the room halls. The parking garage was small and a tight fit. Very little other parking available. Breakfast was ok, limited items and the pancake machine was out of order both mornings.
- THOMAS (10/5): - Great stop travelling through Great Falls on way home to Lacombe. Ab. Good price and place!
- Ben (8/5): - Clean, Great location very friendly staff.
The continental breakfast is that garbage Jimmy dean breakfast sandwich junk but there was bread and oatmeal
I would stay again
- Ron (6/5): - Dirty bathroom. Toilet was plugged!
- Jeremy (10/5): - It was very clean and great staff.
- Kodie (2/5): Brutal never again - Horrible we got in after 3am and they didn’t allow us to check unless we paid again for another night….. they didn’t care of our situation and they were going to turn me and my family of 6 away at 3am because of their policy…. Policy should alway be in the customers favour the manager didn’t budge and didn’t try to help us just told us to pay for another night for 2 rooms…. The hotel wasn’t sold out and I paid for 2 rooms and just because they did their cash drop at 2am and wouldn’t allow us to check in even tho I paid for the rooms and they weren’t sold out! after a late arrival I will never stay there or recommend it…. It’s ugly it’s old and drunks walking in and out at 4am the the staff is brutal never again 👎👎
- Chrystene (6/5): - Very conveniently located in downtown and good price. Below average breakfast plus pancake maker was out of order.
- Kirk (10/5): - Friendly staff
- Lisa (8/5): - The beds were clean and comfortable. The “free continental breakfasts “ was non existent.
- Bruce (10/5): - It’s a down town area
- Farrukh (6/5): - The room was a bit dirty but overall it wasn’t that bad of an experience
The staff is really hardworking and courteous
The breakfast was not as good as I had hoped
Might stay there again
- Anjali (8/5): - great place for short stay
- Travis (8/5): - .
- Allan (8/5): - Beds are poor but everything else ok.
- Ashley (6/5): - The walls are very thin. You could hear everything on all sides. Bring your own pillow. Continental breakfast was nothing to write home about. The room and facility was fairly clean.
- Chris (10/5): - It was a great experience
- Clayton (4/5): - Uneventful the way i like i it.
- Elijah (10/5): - Great staff
- Clayton (10/5): Super duper8 - Amazing service.beautiful rooms.
- Jody (2/5): - First the address was difficult to find. Took us to an area where the hotel was not. Then we called to get directions and were on hold for 20 mins. When we googled it there was an indication that it was not a Super 8 but a Travellodge. The map said the Travellodge was permanently closed but we went to that address to see and sure enough it was the Super8. The guy at the counter was socializing with a buddy and likely the reason our call was never answered.
The floor in the room was absolutely disgusting, looked like it was likely not washed for a while. Holes in the laminate on the floor. The main floor had brown plastic up on a smashed in massive window. A sign in the elevator about locals not being allowed to rent rooms anymore. Savoury individuals hanging around inside and outside the building. Will never stay here again.
- Philip (10/5): - The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Staff is friendly and attentive. I will stay here again.
- Chris (10/5): - It's a good experience and very helpful and friendly staff
- Camron (8/5): - Helpful staff
- Maruf (10/5): - very quiet, walkable to area restaurants
- Peter (8/5): - Still doing construction i think. Was sent to old Super 8 by my gps first.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Old Hotel, needs a facelift - We stayed here years ago when it was the Travelodge. We didn’t realize it change to a Super 8, it was terrible then., our toilet didn’t flush, we had to call someone, there was no blow dryer in the room, when I called the front desk, they said they couldn’t find one. In the breakfast room, the pancake machine didn’t work, we had trouble using the coffee machine, how’s that for starters
- Jasmin (10/5): - Such a pleasant surprise! This hotel really exceeded my expectations. The staff were warm, attentive, and always had a smile on their faces. The breakfast every morning was absolutely delicious — plenty of choices and really well-prepared. It’s clear they care about their guests. I felt relaxed and well taken care of the entire time. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and friendly place to stay.
- Lawrence (2/5): - To many homeless people, still there due to federal grants. Smoking weed beating there kids, upall night.
- Chris (10/5): - I had a great time at the hotel. I had a very good experience .
- Bradley (2/5): - I have no idea how this property has almost 5 stars. Definitely didn't feel safe people walking talking and banging at doors at 3 a.m. side doors do not lock so people where coming and going slamming those doors. Showers where disgusting hair left in the showers from the people before and stained. Dirty bedding and dirty pillows. All and all definitely the worst experience I have had at a hotel
- Mitch (8/5): - This property is in the heart of Downtown Great Falls. Convenient location with underground parking. Nicely remodeled. Good value.
- Nancy (6/5): - I unfortunately was disappointed in a few thngs,
No vegetarian options like most Super 8, that I have stayed in.
No coffee pot no hair dryer in the room,
I asked person on duty, about they said they werent using these any more. I said that they should change the website if thats the case.
- Tyrone (2/5): - Awful
- Iliana (10/5): - Was pleased to see the cleanliness of the room as well as getting some much needed peace and quiet. Would definitely come back next time i’m in the area.
- Rafael (10/5): - Will definitely stay at this hotel on my next trip to Great Falls. The room was clean, friendly staff, and breakfast was a huge bonus. Highly recommend!!
- Sarah (2/5): - Such a horrible place!! It smelled so bad and they have cigarettes all over the place..dirty,smells so bad!! People up all night running in hallways, yelling liud talking all night!! I have been to many places and this one was the worst!
- Susan f (2/5): - Property allowed smoking
- Brenda (8/5): - The front staff were very nice and checking was good. Definitely not a 10 rating that showed on Expedia. Lots of homeless around hotel and in the lobby
- Suhrob (10/5): - Great , affordable price
