Guest Reviews
- Thomson (10/5): - Convenient
- Janet (6/5): - Room not clean room floor and shower floor and bed sheets dirty few ants in the bed room smell like mildew it suck case is nice remodel
- Jackie (10/5): - The window sills are disgustingly. Seems like a flop house. The only good thing was the lady at the desk. She was wonderful.
- Asharia (4/5): - roaches and bed bugs. close to lackland which is nice
- Jessica (10/5): - Everything was good
- Stacie (4/5): - Have already left a verbal review
- Reyna (2/5): - Sketchy
- Tiffany (8/5): - Everything was good, except the pool was really dirty and that was the whole point we book a hotel
- Diana (2/5): - When we arrived the first room we were given was dirty the sheets were dirty and had blood on then. We were given a new room those sheets were dirty and had blood on them. I had them change the sheets. There were dead bugs all over the floor. And the toilet stopped working. And smelled bad. The 3rd room we moved to was at least clean. Sad to have to include that as a plus.
- Karen (4/5): - There were ants in the bed, the blankets were dirty, there was no cold water only hot water and it was a huge inconvenience for my daughter and I to bathe. There were cockroaches in the food area and flies...it was a very bad experience😖
- Roxanne (10/5): - Place was amazing, I was for sure surprised with the place and the room. I wasn’t expecting much but it exceeded my expectations. Front desk workers were very nice, will be back!
- Cedric (2/5): No Go - Nasty, with in 5 mins of being in the room the roaches were having a party. No Go
- Gisela (2/5): - Sábanas sucias, arañas
- Jonathan Enrique (8/5): - N/A
- Rupam (8/5): - Had tons of red ants in the room though was later cleared up by maintenance. Breakfast wasn’t refilled despite time wasn’t over.
- JAMES (8/5): - good stay but the breakfast ran out of food
- Kristin (8/5): - His place is very close to the freeway so you definitely hear traffic noise. Some of the rooms have been redone and look pretty good! Bummer they did not use quality installers as you can tell just the sloppy work. When we tried to open the curtains the whole thing fell down. The rod did not fall off, just someone had broken the end piece or it was never attached correct and so the curtains just all slid off the rod. Just small things like that.
The pool was so very nice to have after a long hot day. If your staying bc your child is at lackland it is very close which is nice since you need to be there very early!
The customer service is very good, they are accommodating and very friendly! I would definitely stay again if I needed to be at the AFB!
The price was right!
- Megan (2/5): - ABSOLUTELY NOT! If you are looking for homeless people and drug addicts to be sitting in front of the door this is the place for you. Also the tv didn’t work in our room and the ac was not cutting it.
- juan (2/5): - This property was a complete disappointment. When I arrived, I saw people openly using contraband in the parking lot. The pool was so green and nothing like the photos advertised. I decided not to stay and immediately left. I requested a refund since the property did not match what was shown online, but was denied. Save yourself the trouble and stay far away from this place.
- Maria (2/5): - Terrible
- Kevin (2/5): Horrible place - Do not stay here, place was filthy rooms were half way renovated and staff is extremely unprofessional. They have not returned my deposit and there’s no way to reach them.
- Adam (6/5): - pool was green
- Rosalinda (2/5): - The hotel room was completely dirty! The floors had dirt all over. The refrigerator was so wonky I couldn't even open it without it falling over. The bathroom wasn't cleaned! There was a hair and dirt in the corner. The shower head was cracked open. The room smelled like cigarettes or marijuana. Most disgusting room I have ever had! Also, they did not let me take the breakfast waffles that I made for my autistic daughter go to the room. The staff was rude. No one said hello to me, they said 'good morning' to everyone who was white, but not me! Racist and discriminatory and complete filth. Never ever coming here again. Would never ever recommend. I have pictures and videos!
- Brissa (10/5): - Customer service was great. Breakfast options are limited, but my kiddos loved it. We would def stay here again.
- Jennifer Kristine (2/5): - This place was very dirty. We got our money back and did not stay.
- Siria (6/5): - Staff was friendly. The room was decent. Left over food and drinks were left on counter top and in the fridge.
- Marlene (8/5): - I didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised with the room and all it had to offer. Nice bed, nice pool and the breakfast was a plus. The shops around was convenient which I liked since I didn't have a car.
- Daniel (8/5): Visit for Air Force graduation - The AC was not good at all. The box kept running making more noise and when it shut down the humidity came back.
- DeJanee LaNese (6/5): - The delay was disappointing
- Liudmila (6/5): - The area around hotel doesn't feel safe
- Chance (8/5): - Once we got checked into our room, we noticed there was no water. The front desk said it would be about 30 mins before it would be back on, maintenance was being done to a pipe leak. There was a small, dead roach under the AC unit. The day was good at that, until late into the night when we heard a "pop" come from the bathroom area..I got up and didn't notice anything, until I opened the fridge, and it was not a fridge, it was a freezer unit. All 5 shelves in the "fridge" now contained frozen water bottles, frozen coffee creamer, frozen energy drinks and frozen soda..One of the sodas had exploded. There was only one dial for the settings, and it was either "off, 1 or 2". I tried both settings and neither seemed to keep our items from freezing, so we spent the next few days without using it. And no, we did not have the time nor energy to find a new room or hotel, due to us being there only for our sons Air Force Graduation, or else we would have found a different place to stay.
- Aaron (6/5): - Looks better than what it was plus reasonable cheep
- Iwona (8/5): - This is a nice and safe place to stay for a couple of days, especially if your child is at Lackland AFB. The location is very convenient — you can walk to the base or take an Uber for just a few dollars, which is great!
However, the bathroom lighting could be better, especially for tasks like doing makeup. Also, having access to a fresh-water pool would be perfect after an emotionally exhausting day — a relaxing way to wash away the stress when your child has just graduated from AFB Basic Training and is moving on to the next step in life.
Overall, it’s a great place to stay near the base.
- Monica M Alvarenga (6/5): - Honestly the room was dirty I am a person who don’t complain but I asked can you clean my room they took until the second day to do it. Breakfast i didn’t try it just coffe that looks fine. Staff was fine and welcoming. The toilet was clogged so you need to be constantly flushing and flushing.
- patrick emmett (8/5): - Staff was awesome, cleaned everyday. No complaints. Perfect for any Air Force geaduations it is in Excellent position to visit Lackland base.
- sharon (10/5): - The staff is amazing!
- Miguel A (10/5): - Good Customer service with the contental breakfast.
- Wesley (2/5): - Well for starters…when we came into the room we found cockroaches and mold on the walls. The sheets were dirty but you know you get what you pay for so we didn’t mention it to the front desk. While staying at the hotel we had not one but two times where the staff was trying to enter our room at early hours. the first individual was part of the cleaning crew, besides being extremely loud in the next room she proceeded to bang on our door, i jumped out of the shower and went to answer, she continues to tell me that we needed to check out and she needed to clean the room. i told her that we still had the room until the next day… she just looks at me and storms off.. i didn’t hear anything following that. the next situation occurred in the morning as well however it was a group of men ( i’m assuming there where maintenance or landscaping) but the odd part is that they went to open our door with a separate key.
luckily we had the door blocked off with the little lock inside the room. we looked through the window and saw them just walking away. my question was why is landscaping coming in the room? why didn’t they announce themselves? Overall i definitely will never be staying here again and my advice spend the extra money for a better spot.
- Angel (6/5): - The neighborhood was a little rough. There was no carpet in the room. Outside noise was a bit much. The bed was very comfortable and the towels were nice and soft
- nora (4/5): - Room was not clean, waited for over an hour for them to bring me clean bedding ended up having to get my own clean king size bedding and change myself. Shower full of hair. Coffee pot dirty.
- Cody (6/5): - The people that work there were great and the issue we had is really nothing the hotel could do about it but it is alot of homless folks and meth heads floating around we also had a guy knock on the door and ask if we had any meth to sell
- Tania (2/5): - Yeah, this hotel to me. It was very scary. I don’t like it. It was dirty they have bed bugs l only stay for 15 minutes I think it was unsafe I don’t recommend I want my money back but they say no
- Ines (4/5): - Floor was dirty. The outside of the building was dirty. The fridge did not work and kept freezing everything despite fixing the fridge temperature. At one point it stopped working.
- Doug Clay (10/5): - Very friendly
- Bety (8/5): - Ok
- María (4/5): - Over it was ok hotel , stay was really friendly and nice. But the hotel itself needed a lot of work done. The bathroom had mold all over the ceiling , the toilet kept clogging up ( we didn’t put paper down the toilet it went in the trash). Not to mention the pool broke down so so it was unavailable, breakfast was ok it ran out really quickly for a week day .. good thing the shower was awesome not to mention the bed were super comfy .. everything else in the room was really good.
- Freda (6/5): - Our stay was ok
- Gerson Luis (6/5): - Propiedad en buenas conditions y limpia dd manera general. La piscina estaba fuera de servicio…
- Diana (2/5): - Payed for room 2 days ahead and when I got to property they gave me a room that was already occupied. I went to front office and she gave me a room that wasn’t cleaned. House keepers did a quick 15 min clean with dirty bed sheets and dirty bathroom.
- Luis (2/5): - The hotel was super dirty, the pool was green and unusable, and the area was full of drug users and homeless people. You don't feel safe because all those people are walking near your car and the room door all night. For this reason, I do not recommend this place at all.
- Lisa (4/5): - The workers were great so I feel bad about leaving a negative review but... The pool was green and unusable. The neighborhood felt unsafe with sketchy people roaming around. The room was okay and clean but the bedding was lackluster..basically just sheets. It was also hard to get the room dark because the outside was lit up like daylight, i guess because of the neighborhood.
- Katherine (4/5): - The room I stayed in had a bathroom door that wouldn’t shut, and floors were very dirty when we came in. There were dead ants around the room. And the front door kept getting stuck so I couldn’t probably close or open. I had to use all my force for an open/close. The shower looks like it was remodeled and wasn’t covered during remodel so it looked gross. I did whatever I could to not touch the shower walls as they looked like they’d never been wiped down. The rooms smell very humid. I appreciate the towels and bedding to be very clean. The tv was great as well. The lady at the front desk let us check in very early like 8am free of charge.
- Alfredo (2/5): - DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I was woken up by a Mouse rooting around inside the trash can and could not get out at 3am! Management was very confrontational when I addressed it in the morning, not to mention the homeless people that were in the staircase at all times! Absolute worst stay at any hotel I’ve ever been in! I had to tie the mouse up inside the trash bag. Photo attached.
- Jessica Ann (2/5): - It was not in the best area. The rooms were not very clean. The pool was green. The TV did not work and the lamps had no light bulbs. The front desk said they would be available 24 hours. I went to talk to them at 8 pm and no one was there and the doors were locked. I had spoken to other guests who said they left.
- Sarahi (10/5): - It was in a dark place but nice surrounded by buildings
- Joseph Jerome (8/5): - easy access to everything
- Michelle (10/5): - clean and good service
- Ashley (6/5): - If the deciding factor for getting this hotel is breakfast pick somewhere else it was not existent. The pools pump was broken so it was a lovely shade of lime. The room overall wasn’t bad, but the floors were not great.
- Candice (2/5): - Terrible
- Luis (2/5): - Awful property
- Carroll (2/5): - First of all I experienced roaches during my stay, poor air , no wear to hang my clothes and finally did not know it was motel and not a hotel as you had promoted..
- Anita (10/5): - We were very pleased with our stay. The rooms were clean, the price was great, the food was good. Thanks
- Claire (4/5): - n/a
- Yassah (2/5): Dirty facility and and poor reception - This facility is very terrible they don’t clean, they refuse to change our beddings, sweep or take out trash, we called the front desk and complained but no one came. The trash stayed 3 days before someone came
to take the trash out. The reception was poor and the man from the front desk was very rude towards us.
- Nancy (2/5): - The 1st room the door didn’t close so when we got there in the middle of the night and storm the floor was all wet, we couldn’t lock our room. The shower head was missing and the knob was broken off. 2nd room was better but then we didn’t have hot water and showered with cold water. The breakfast provided was ok! Overall would not stay there again? NO
- Cassandra Lynn (4/5): - Our experience was not the greatest. The room still had dirty belongings in it from the person before the floor was never cleaned toilet didn’t flush unless she flushed it three times bathroom door wouldn’t shut the refrigerator still had old food in it. We could not swim in the pool because it was very, very murky with a lot of dirt settled on top
- Jessica (10/5): - The room was very clean. the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for our luggage. The kiddos loved the pool. staff were all very nice.
- Larry (10/5): - Just the bathroom was a little small
- Tanya (10/5): - The property is very well kept and staff gave exceptional service.
I have a disability and they carried my bags in and out the room for me.
The outside of the property don’t let that fool you. I checked around at different properties and stayed put.
Anything needed they provided.
- Christoher (6/5): - The staff wasn't available, and office door was locked. The $50 cash fee for incidentals and you get it back after the room is inspected was odd or wait 7-21 days for Creditcard use was the pitch. Room was ok.
- Mykia Ishea (4/5): - The front desk staff was amazing, but the area in which the hotel is located looks extremely shabby and the towel and rags had dirt and stains on them and don’t walk on the floors without socks or shoes because you feet will be filthy afterwards
- Lesa (6/5): - Good value close to base.
- Joshua (4/5): - Will book with a different hotel next time. First, there was no tv in our room, second the shower/tub handle fell off every time you touched it, third the ac unit barely worked and in south Texas ac was a must. That’s just a few but there was more. Won’t stay again
- Jerry Tim Moore (6/5): - Beds were comfy, toilet was dirty
- Shannon (8/5): - Newly renovated and looks great, clean room.
The staff was very nice , however,
There was only lukewarm water in the shower.
And in the morning, around 9 , the remodeling crew used their key and just opened my door,
- Yvonne (2/5): - Bathroom didn’t work no hot water
- Rebecca (8/5): - Looks like they are remodeling. Great upgrades to the property. Check in was fast and great.
- Jorge (10/5): - Excellent service and nice room but in my opinion breakfast hours should be extended to 10-10:30 am
- Stephanie (10/5): - Great property. Very nice and clean
- Jose (2/5): - Well front desk lady was horrible didn't let us know anything about the hotel or where was the rooms at. And then the keys didnt work. And they couldn't both rooms that was recirved next to each other because they were booked and since they couldn't open the door to one of the rooms they ended up giving us the rooms next to each other and then latet at night we saw a mouse and all we got back was a sorry couldnt even get to talk to the manager smfh
- Andrea (10/5): - Cleans rooms
