Guest Reviews
- Natasha (6/5): - Pretty solid hostel! We had a private queen room, and honestly it was just missing some basics like hangers, a full length mirror, and trash bin in room. Ideally, the pillows could be thicker—we were given two pancake pillows, so it was not great for us as side sleepers. Noise and cleanliness were good overall—no issues there. Parking is like a puzzle—depends on how everyone else parks! The shared bathroom in our wing was ok—just needed some repairs (i.e. the shoddy bath shelf and towel rack). Seems like the toilet water is recycled, so there is a smell that comes with that—I guess they could use some deodorizing plug ins or something to balance it out? Generally, a good stay for the price! **Note: Review not applicable to the main house
- Ryan (10/5): - Great stay, great place. Would recommend.
- Bret (6/5): - Would have liked own bathroom in the room. Was loud with other guest keep coming in and out with the door pad. Overall tho was cheap and a good stay. Staff was very helpful.
- Ten (10/5): - 部屋は綺麗でとてもよかった。全てパスコードで解錠するのでスムーズにチェックインできた。
- roberto alexander (10/5): - Yes parking very good cameras outside.is safe area i love it.
- Darryl (10/5): - It's was a very nice stay. Quiet and close enough to things like Walmart, Aldi, dollar tree. Food options abundant. The property is nice and calm. Everything is clean tho certain little touches were missed ( checking under and behind the bed ). Kitchen space is nice and outdoor space is comfortable as well. All in all I would definitely stay again when I'm in the area. Staff was friendly and non invasive as well
- Rey (4/5): - This place was so not worth what you pay for.
Imagine paying all this money just to not get your own bathroom and share with 8 other people.
If someone is using the bathroom, then you wiuld have to wait until they are done and it can definitely back you up.
There is no street parking
Noticed a good amount of dust in my room so it was not clean.
No regular clean up of bathroom. Have to use paper towerls to dry hands and sometimes they would be all used up.
Fridge was packed and no room to store anything.
The garbages would get full with no space to throw anything out.
And the staff were not helpful at all in recovering an item that was left behind, which I'm sure was stolen by the cleaning staff.
- Ernestine (6/5): A Rat In The Kitchen & More... - The owners charge $45+ nightly to sleep in one of their basic pods but can't be bothered to fix one or both of the nonworking ice machines in the kitchen. It's VERY hot right now in Panorama City where the hostel is located. Would've been nice to have some ice. Really lovely house but tons of mosquitoes in the yard & I saw a rat scurry from under the fridge late at night. It probably got in through the front door, which a guest & the housekeeper left wide open. The last night I was there, someone either turned off the air conditioner or it stopped working (there are no fans in the pods).
- Malakai (10/5): - AC was FREEZING and the parking was rough, but otherwise, a nice place!
- George (10/5): - Clean and quiet.
- Margarita (2/5): - I was not enough parking I had too parking outside de property because I was not have choice and I get a parking ticket
- Samy (2/5): - I booked this initially because I thought it was a room in a house, which I had np with. It turns out to be a hostel. It says it close towards the bottom of the description. Very deceiving and falsely advertised. I didn’t even bother to go, even though he refused to refund. My advice to you is (READ THE DESCRIPTION & REVIEWS before booking). I hope this helps the next person. I didn’t rate the property as I didn’t go like I said. The pictures and words in the reviews were plenty enough for me to make my decision. I will never book again here.
- Marcos (10/5): - Awesome place to stay! Very organized
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very comfortable space. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay :)
Very comfy beds!
- Ali (2/5): - This is not Hotel, It’s room in the garage, It’s Fraudulence.
- Cid (10/5): Great stay! - The room was nice and clean. Very good change of pace from a motel/hotel with an at-home feeling. Only inconvenience was the neighbors parking in the cul de sac and blocking off the driveway at one point from their party at night. My room code also didnt work at first but it was quickly fixed up when i texted the automated messages. Overall, it was a great experience and had the comfort i needed. I would just recommend some room fans for those extra muggy nights.
- Henry (2/5): - False accusation got me kicked out with no refund
- david (10/5): - Excellent.
- Jesus (10/5): - Very new experience sleeping in a pod beautiful home well kept will definitely be using them again for my next trip out here
- Jennifer (10/5): - Very clean and aesthetic looking room. Very cozy
- Helen (6/5): Unique Pod Experience - $34 is what caught my attention however please fully read and view photos of property details. I didn’t realize it was a pod, a rectangle coffin.. Location of the house easy to find. Receive clear instructions to enter home and pod area. This place decor was beautiful and design to accommodate several reservations. One shared bathroom, 2 private shower and toilet. One main bathroom near a cozy kitchen, stove, two refrigerator, microwave. Access to cooking equipment, if used must clean! Assigned numbers on each door ex. Oh.Door #3 had 6 pod. Three upper cars with two steps to enter and three lower must stoop low or crawl to enter. Each pod included a wall board with a lamp charger post above the car with fitted sheet on and pillow, flat sheet comforter sitting on top with a bath towel. Next to was a small desk table with drawer on the wall included a hanger rack. The container is large enough for you to sit up without hitting your head. It’s definitely made for sleeping only. Overall, I was comfortable until I woke up with a urgent, need to go to the bathroom and I could not get out the upper container fast enough and peed on myself. Being happy about the $34 has turned into an additional $100 and embarrassment.
- Yuanelis (4/5): - The house is beautiful, and the rooms and bathroom were well-maintained. However, be aware that the bathroom is shared with at least 4–5 other rooms, and there are around 20 people in the house. It feels more like an Airbnb-style setup than a traditional hotel.
The walls are quite thin, so sounds carry easily—from footsteps to doors unlocking, even bathroom noise from nearby rooms. Also, the air conditioning is controlled for the whole house, meaning it can be turned off by anyone feeling cold, which may be uncomfortable for others.
Unfortunately, I misunderstood the shared bathroom arrangement and requested to leave early. I offered to pay for the night and depart, but that was declined. I chose to stay and adapt, but received an unexpected message at 6 a.m. requiring me to check out by 11 a.m.
Be sure to read all the details carefully. While the home is lovely, the management was not flexible in my experience.
- Jorge (10/5): - It was a nice place, felt like home
- Kaylee (2/5): - We had an extremely disappointing experience and had to push hard just to get a refund. When we arrived, the front door was wide open and the property was partially under construction. The space was infested with roaches and flies, and our room had clearly not been cleaned — there was dust everywhere and even socks left under the bed. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable, like sleeping on cardboard. We saw another group of roaches shortly after arriving and decided we couldn’t stay. The doors had large gaps at the bottom, allowing bugs to get in easily. I've been camping in rough conditions before, but this was significantly worse. Truly gross and unacceptable.
- Barby (8/5): Nice house-turned-hostel - Very nice home-turned-hostel with private rooms. There was only one thermostat for all of the rooms located in the hall of the house, so any guest had the power to change the temperature. Everything was very clean. Guests should be asked to wash their dishes. Room was comfortable and private. There was lots of room to park. Quiet neighborhood.
- Jessica (10/5): - Mui bien
- Susana (2/5): - There was cockroachs in the restrooms, the restroom next to the room was always closed, the kitchen was full of dirty dishes and there were hair around the restrooms
- Ayala (2/5): - The moment we found out it’s a single family residence with rooms for rent, without a private bathroom, we asked to cancel but the owner did not care and was not willing to cancel and refund $80. We did not stay
- Salvador (10/5): - Everything it's ok
- Tracee (10/5): - could use mirrors in the room, as well as a tv
- John (6/5): - It is a house with rooms. Not a hotel. It was a usual place. I bit my nose at night. I've been woken up several. It sucks that you can not cancel the reservation 24 hours before travelling. They locked you in. I did not like that.
- Kevin (6/5): - No towels, bathroom shower nasty with dried white soap scum four days in a row with cleaning service. Quite area.
- Nelson (10/5): - It was a great stay!
- Jose (10/5): - Easy electronic check in and check out process. Convenient.
Which it had a shared living room with tv but i probably wouldn't have used it much.
Excellent stay for what i needed.
- Brian (4/5): Not what I expected or hope for - I did not expect what we received. I was expecting a hotel/motel. Instead we were taken to a residential area, with a large house with many rooms. Many different rooms were expected to share a bathroom. I had expected the room would have its own bathroom. There was no one on site to welcome us - it was all done virtually. The bed was very low to the ground instead of up off the ground the way most beds are. I would not stay here again.
- Michael (8/5): - Good enough on everything but could use more trashcans on sight. Location is not so good ... lots of traffic.
- Verified traveler (10/5): great! - room was very nice and neat. have stayed here a few times and doesn't disappoint.
- Daniel (10/5): - They should fix the showers well.
- Boolin (10/5): - This property is good for a weekend getaway. The rooms are very comfortable and enjoyable the area is quiet and calm i will most definitely come again
- Daniel (10/5): - Muy limpio y trankilo muy acojedor
- Alexia (4/5): - While the room itself wasn't horrible, it was in massive repairs and renovation throughout the property. Misleading - definitely shouldn't be allowing people to rent this property while it's in this state of renovation. It's just not good. Super loud in the morning with hammering and sawing and there was no bathroom near our room so we had to go outside, use another door code and enter another building.
- Frank (10/5): - My friend needed a place to sleep, glad this place was affordable and welcoming. The staff there helpful and made everything easy. The room were nice, soft beds and clean setting. Definitely recommended if you are looking for a place to rest.
- Queena Patrice (8/5): - Nice property
- Carol (10/5): - Friendly clean and convenient
- Anna (2/5): - Not for family stay. No TV and not much outlets for gadgets. It is so inconvenient when several rooms are sharing only 2 bathrooms. Our room is tiny and not enough room to hang clothes. Construction is going on with a contractor coughing like he has covid. He coughed so hard that even woke us up at 9am. I didnt like the shared fridge, somebody took my 2 bottled water at night.
- Mikey (10/5): - Cozy stay :)
- CHRISTINA (10/5): - Loved my stay here.
- Angela (8/5): - Clean and Pretty
- Corbin (8/5): - Clean quiet comfortable
- Rachel (10/5): - I had an outstanding experience at Brimfield stay. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and professional, ensuring a seamless check-in process. The room was impeccably clean, beautifully designed, and equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.
The Brimfield Stay location was perfect there are tons of local markets close by restaurants, etc. making it easy to explore the area.
What truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable, and prompt assistance whenever needed.
I highly recommend Brimfield's stay to anyone looking for a luxurious, comfortable, and stress-free stay. I will be returning!
The only downfall is the renovation going on overall it's a beautiful peaceful stay.
- Verified traveler (4/5): An interesting experience... - The bathrooms were in the house. I was staying in a garage and had to walk outside and through the front door to access them. There were 2 bathrooms and a lot of hotel rooms. The place is under construction, but isn't very tidy about it. Basically this is a house and garage that is being carved up into smaller rooms. My room door did not have a dead bolt and it looked like it had been pried open in the past due to the damage to the wood by the lock. The kitchen looks very nice and my room furnishings and bed were nice and comfortable. However, I felt like I was in a parking lot with cars coming and going right outside (on the other side of the garage door). Shampoo and body wash were provided in the shared shower. No conditioner was available when I asked the owner. I think this is meant to be a no contact hotel. Security seemed very lax (as in exterior doors stay open all night long and individual rooms only have a button lock on the door knob. I would not stay here again. The house is located in a residential neighborhood and is not labeled...so it's a little disconcerting as to whether you are in the right place or not. There is not a lot of off-street parking, yet the street parking requires a permit for overnight parking. A permit was not offered to me.
- Jim (2/5): Shocking experience - This place is not as advertised, it is basically a building site with 0 security, our door didn’t lock, and all the codes on the doors are the same which led to people walking into our room twice while we were in it.
Builders through the day, power tools in the morning while we were trying to sleep, leaking roof, trash everywhere, took over an hour to even get a room after we arrived, 0 communication, were not given the code to the front door, I guess because it’s never even locked. Cars were constantly blocked so we couldn’t get out. An absolute mess and terrible experience.
- chris (10/5): - You get your own room
My room had some cool unique wall art
Kitchen and bathroom are communal
They'll be done with the renovations soon
It's a no brainer
I didn't want to leave honestly.
Perfect affordable spot.
- YS (2/5): - This is a house still under renovation, everywhere is a mass, the kitchen roof is leaking, others rooms are still under construction, full of garbage in the yard and unfinished rooms, you can see workers in daytime and feel not safe, this lead to dirty on the floor, our rooms are also not clean, with holes one the bed sheet evenI cannot believe it can be rented if the description is true!the worst rental experience I have!
- nick (10/5): - The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and every little detail made the stay extra special. It’s the kind of place that turns a trip into an experience cozy, clean, and full of good energy, I will definitely stay again!
- Alexander (10/5): - Good accomadation
- Esther (10/5): - Had a great stay here! The room was very comfortable and nice decorated, kitchen has all you need for cooking, bathrooms and everything else felt clean and new! It has a small backyard which is a nice touch for relaxing, Would definitely recommend!!
