The location is unbeatable, a very brief walk from Milano Centrale station, which made exploring the city and catching trains incredibly easy. The room was modern, impeccably clean, and the bed was quiet comfortable. The staff were also exceptionally friendly and helpful. For a convenient, comfortable, and well-run stay in Milan, I would highly recommend it.

Metro and tram stop just a few minutes walk away. Most importantly, a great 24h garage parking for a great price But overall,

The lack of hot water coming out tap and shower only look warm never hot , never mind how long i let it ran being a heating engineer and train legionaries tester i was just being fobbed off just to save money on a plus all staff were fantastic

- Allen (2/5): - This place is definitely not family friendly. We booked a family room, but it was very small only about 15 by 15 feet—with no seating area. There was no coffee maker, no drinking water in room and the overall space was quite cramped. The staff was also very rude; when we asked for five pillows they only provided one. We arrived late due to a flight cancellation. Despite this, they charged us for one night regardless of the situation. Also the pictures provide likely AI-generate are misleading, as the actual room is much smaller than what is shown. Overall, our experience was disappointing.
- Craig (8/5): Attentive staff and modern 4 star hotel. - Nice modern and clean hotel but the neighbourhood wasn’t as nice as I’d hoped. Not too far from the Metro and 10 minutes walk to Milan Central train station as well. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hairdryer didn’t work, but they got it sorted within minutes and made a steamer available as there were no irons in the rooms. Would recommend hotel to other couples and the large bed and air aircon made the stay comfortable.

Service at the reception could have been warmer and more engaging. On a positive note, the location is convenient — within easy reach of the city centre and about a 15-minute walk to the Duomo.

Very cold during the night, only supplied one pillow and sheets, highlighted this to reception and they turned the temperature up. Walls are paper thin, the family in the next room were SO loud, it felt like they were in our room.

However, the major downside was that the electricity was cut off at 12:00 PM, exactly at check-out time, even though we had confirmed staying an extra hour. They refused to turn it back on in the room, which was frustrating and totally unnecessary. It felt absurd, especially when we were still in the room with permission to stay longer. That moment really soured the end of our stay, unfortunately. But aside from that issue, everything else was okay.

- Mayrin (10/5): - Joy 124 is a Beautiful, modern, minimalistic boutique hotel with super friendly staff. Upon checking I walked into a spotless/clean room; the overall common areas were clean. The breakfast buffet was well set and attended. It offered diverse options. The location, in my opinion very convenient, close to the Milano central station, metro stations and bus stops. There are bike rentals right outside the hotel. I felt safe walking in/out, and around the property. I loved it and I highly recommend.

- I (10/5): Definitely deserving its 4*! - Would definitely stay here again! All the staff were so kind, helpful & patient, especially given the lang. barrier. The hotel is very clean & I felt safe solo. Great shower pressure + tempt too & I slept like a baby. (context I’m a Brit) the breakfast was the only significant let down - the pastries & range of pancakes + sweet foods were great! But the hot food: pancake, veg mix, sausage/beef balls & what appeared to be a variation of baked beans were cold & tasteless so I’d manage expectations or get breakfast elsewhere if I wanted meats. The tiles on the some of the floors in the bedrooms may have a slight stain that looks like dirt (but the floor & everything else is immaculately cleaned). I raised this w/the staff & they explained that their builders messed up some tiles (the stains are like part of the tiles). As it was very obviously still a clean floor, I wouldn’t mind staying in a room with it at all. Just mentioning incase your room has it & it’s an initial shock lool

- Caio (10/5): Opção incrível - Instalações incríveis. Hotel excelente. Tudo novo, ar condicionado muito bom, cama e roupa de cama muito bons. Me parece que ainda faltam alguns ajustes no quarto. Ex: pia não descia a água, box do chuveiro alagava o banheiro por má vedação.
- Fatima (6/5): - Probably still newly opened, but the room is not well soundproofed… need a bit more curtains, fabrics or carpet to bounce off the sound in the room. Also the door fixtures was not installed properly and fell off twice. Lastly, AC wasn’t working properly. Still lots of improvements. But overall decent.
- Pauline (4/5): - The hotel was too far from city centre for a sightseeing break which meant extra transport expense to get there. It only opened in March we were told, & it needed jobs finishing. There were steep steps at the entrance to get into reception and no bannister/handrails to hold whilst trying to drag a heavy case in. There was no ramp either to help pull suitcases in or to help the disabled get in. When leaving the hotel, the large glass panels need some notification as to which one is the exit to avoid people walking into one of the other which do not open. No Tea/coffee making facilities in rooms. No visible Fire notices on room entrance door. Sparse toiletries. No drawers and only two small shelves over the fridge. Needs a visible folder highlighting the room and hotels facilities etc., like most hotel rooms have. Very noisy in mornings with workmen outside. The hotel was very clean but lacked atmosphere, quite dark and gloomy with no decoration ie pictures, ornament or flowers for example. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Didn’t have hot water available at all times which meant taking tepid showers. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of products. Would not return, sorry.

- Umut (10/5): - This is a new hotel near to main train station (Centrale FS), 15 min. by walk. Close to Sondrio metro station (orange line, 10 min. by walk) which can lead you to duomo square. The restoration / construction is almost over, still there are some minor things to be done in the hotel but these will not be disturb your stay. Daily trips from Milan to Como or to St Moritz through Bernina expres etc. usually starts / moves in front of main train station (Centrale FS) that's why this hotel can be a good option to stay if you have such plans in Milan.

- Dylan (2/5): - FEMALE SOLO TRAVELERS BEWARE Our first night, we somehow had a couple managed to get into our room. The locks are odd and only lock in one slight direction, however, it seems maybe that any key can open any door. Second night, there was construction in the room next to us at 5AM. This lasted until 6AM. Calling the front desk, they just said "there was an emergency, it will be over soon". No apologies or anything. Unacceptable. Also stupid decisions like the light in the bathroom being motion activated. If you want to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, you'll have to deal with all the lights turning on. The laundry was also not working on the days we were there, which was frustrating. There's also no soundproofing at all in the rooms. Overall, we were extremely disappointed with the hotel. It is a aesthetically nice, but not somewhere I can recommend.

The only issue I would have to point out would be the shower leaks quite significantly. There was always a lot of water that would be in the bathroom and then flowing into the rest of the room.

- Suzanne (6/5): Not as good as pictures look. - If you book this thinking you are getting luxury then think again. There is no tea/coffee in the room. No hand soap and poor quality bedding. Had one poor quality pillow. The room is clean and TV good but for me this is quite a basic hotel in terms of quality and stuff in the room. Glad we didn’t pay that much for it.

- Sharon (8/5): - It is brand new and very clean! The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. The room was modern comfortable and clean. The only thing I would change is that they have motion sensitive lights inside the room and bathroom, so whenever someone rolls in bed or goes to the bathroom in the middle of the night, the lights turn on and everyone wakes up.

At 3am staff had to scotch a piece of paper on the ceiling to block it. System needs to be changed. Bathroom light cannot be turned off. - not ready, dust everywhere, construction noise - acoustics are medium (noises from room upstairs and adjacent quite noticeable) - no commercial gesture despite a terrible first night

- Liesid (2/5): Hotel novo, mas completamente despreparado - Infelizmente, minha experiência neste hotel foi bastante frustrante. Ao chegarmos, fomos surpreendidos por uma obra em andamento — o hall de entrada estava tomado por poeira e sujeira, algo totalmente incompatível com o que se espera de um local pronto para receber hóspedes. O quarto, embora novo, apresentava problemas sérios de conforto. A acústica era péssima: era possível ouvir conversas e ruídos tanto do corredor quanto dos quartos vizinhos, o que prejudicou muito a qualidade do sono. Além disso, a limpeza deixou a desejar — os amenities não foram repostos durante a estadia e as toalhas fornecidas eram de qualidade muito inferior, extremamente finas e desgastadas. Outro ponto negativo foi o atendimento: solicitamos um ferro de passar roupa e a resposta foi de que o hotel não oferece esse tipo de item aos hóspedes. Um serviço básico, mas que aparentemente não faz parte da estrutura do hotel. O único aspecto positivo foi o fato de a estrutura ser nova, mas isso não compensa a falta de preparo da equipe e a ausência de serviços essenciais. Não recomendaria e certamente não voltaria.

- Verified traveler (2/5): - NOT RECOMMENDED !! The hotel is not ready at all. False photos for the double room, it’s much smaller, not a king bed as stated and the TV was faulty. No amenities in the room, water bottles in the fridge are charged 3€ with no label indication. The water overflows from shower due to bad fitting-out. The location is not very convenient and the area is not very nice.

- Gurmeet (6/5): - There was not iron board in the room, no water ,no coffee and hot water kettle in the room make a cup or tea,We did not get much information from the staff when we checked in.However the staff was good and really enjoyed the breakfast. Furthermore, this hotel is a good option to explore Milan as to get to the popular destinations it was easy as train stations are near the area which is only a maximum 15 minute walk and we were celebrating a birthday and the staff showed us great options to get sensational cakes.

- Caroline (8/5): - We hadn’t realised that the hotel had only opened in March. Unfortunately the frontage was still being worked on and we had to be directed to an alternative entrance as the entrance was closed off and was a work site. This changed before we left and cleared. The bar/restaurant area was modern with very attentive staff. We had dinner twice. The food was prepared quickly and was tasty and well presented. We didn’t try the breakfast, at 16 Euros each, we walked along the road to an excellent cafe. The room was modern with a large, comfortable bed and adjoining en-suite shower room with power shower. There was no instructions visible regarding what to do in the event of a fire. We couldn’t use a credit card in the bar and had to pay on departure at reception. The hotel was within 9 minutes of the Metro and about 17 minutes from the Central Station. There were no drawers for clothes though there was a hanging rail for clothes. A mini bar and safe in room. No welcome pack about the hotel services, although a QR code gave brief details, some information for places to visit for tourists would be good. The hotel suited us well for the 3 nights we stayed.

- zamira (10/5): - I was looking for an affordable hotel during salone which is imposible this was my option thinking I may was not going to get something very nice, it did exceed my expectations from clean, look, location, staff, the housekeeper, and as an interior designer the design and aesthetic amazing. It is under construction but it didn’t bother me I didn’t hear any noise whatsoever. Great highly recommend

- Verified traveler (6/5): Decent hotel, just noisy! - Good hotel for a short city break. Condition was good, just slightly basic but okay for a couple of nights. Our main complaint was the noise, not just of surrounding building works which we understand may be unavoidable, but also loud bangs from within the hotel before 6am. This was pretty consistent until we left for the day and made sleep pretty difficult.

- Gail (6/5): - It is a long walk of about 20 minutes from the railroad station. My room was quite small and the sheets are very rough. The staff is extremely helpful and the room was immaculate.
- Ching Wan (6/5): - 米蘭火車站步行大約10分鐘有公車站在樓下。城市税網上寫是收14歐羅結果收了28歐原因是4星洒店但不乎合標準，洗澡時水溢出來，洗面時也有水溢水。有保險箱和迷你雪柜内里有飲品但没有説明多少錢，問了是收費的，住了二晚送了一支水。完全不值4星的標準。
