- Dawn (6/5): So close - The hotel and staff do almost everything right. But the sheets are scratchy and the sofa bed is hard as a rock. The oatmeal cauldron is lined with a plastic bag. I love oatmeal but I won’t eat food cooked or warmed in plastic. How hard is it to clean a pot, really

- Eric (8/5): Too hot for me - The new hotel was clean, staff was friendly. Rooms were spacious and I loved closet space. At the time of our stsy there were storms and the heat index was high. Our tv didnt work. Assuming satellite and it was the weather. The biggest problem and reason I will never stay there again is the room temperature. Being an eco-friendly hotel, the air in room only stayed on due to movement. As soon as we went to bed, it got so hot in the room. This is huge and important to me as an amenity. I didn’t get a good night sleep because the room was too hot.

- Brenda (8/5): Hot days with a cool comfortable stay! - Location was ideal for things we had going on. The accommodations were well kept and a quiet place to stay. Was surprised by the number of dogs staying as guests too. Sometimes not leashed so might be good to enforce that policy. Breakfast was always good selection. Get there on time! Because it is promptly put away and locked down on the hour!

- Allen (10/5): - I was flying blind on this booking as there were no photos available on Expedia or the Marriott site. What I experienced: The Hotel is brand new. The room layout was excellent and spacious (separate coffee bar, office space and large couch area, flat screen, etc). The bathrooms were again very spacious and elegant. All finishes were higher end for this price point of hotel. Staff: The staff was very professional and yet personable when checking in. Marriott, you have a winner in your portfolio with this hotel. Also right next to the new Sonnentag Arena. Breakfast: The food was well stocked and tasty; scrambled eggs, sausage patties, fruit, cereal (better choices than usual), juice bar, yogurt. I was kind of surprised not to see a waffle station despite waffles depicted on a poster displayed in a hallway. I didn't inquire but maybe it wasn't put out that particular day. I will definitely book this Hotel again on any return visits to EC.
- Amanda (8/5): - There was only one person running everything at 7pm when we checked in. She was busy apparently running up and down all the floors servicing different guests needs and we ended up waiting almost 30 minutes before seeing anyone to even check in. Like no other employees. After 12 hrs on the road, the last thing you want is to wait a half hr to even check in. My husband and I ended up eating our dinner in the lobby waiting to check in. The next morning there were employees everywhere. I think the staffing during the afternoon needs another review before putting just one person on duty considering she mentioned she had 60 check ins. Other than that, everything was great. The employee was friendly, explained everything well, It was very clean and new, actually 2 months since opening according to the employee. Taking that into account in why i say this, 2 months is not enough time to judge that only one employee should be scheduled during that time.
- Angela (10/5): - We enjoyed the new option for staying in town. We were at a local ball tournament and this hotel was just ten minutes away. Even with a fuller house, we didn't hear noise at night and had no unwelcome visitors. Rooms were spacious and clean.

Comfortable bed, great shower, free parking and a nice breakfast in the morning. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, gave us good recommendations on dining options in the area.
- Amber (2/5): - Overall the stay was great - the headache and issues have been AFTER checking out. I had pre-paid through Hotels.com and then after checking out, found that i had two additional charges from the hotel. I have since called the hotel numerous times to try and resolve and have only been able to get a refund for ONE of the TWO charges. I have also escalated to Mariott and being told they wont do anything. Im at the point of filing a fraud charge with my bank since I should NOT have been charged by the hotel after checking out

- Andrea (8/5): - I think this hotel, being quite new, was unprepared for everyone coming to breakfast at the same time due to the fact that graduation was ats 9 and grads and families had to be there well in advance of that. Thus food was often empty and when filled wasn't very hot---things were always running out, even silverware! It was an unusual situation and they obviously just weren't aware of the time frame of the majority of the guests!! The rooms were lavish!

- Jessica (10/5): - We chose this property for a weekend tournament at the Sonnentag along the river. It was just steps away so we didn’t have to worry about parking. The building is brand new. The rooms are cozy and linens and bed are comfortable. Very close to Water St. The breakfast was ok. They advertised a different option daily but it was the same Saturday as Sunday. Pool is very small but we weren’t there for the pool. Workout area was very nice. Overall highly recommend.

- Wendy (10/5): - We scored this brand new hotel next door to our concert venue (Sonnentag). It is a beautiful hotel with free parking and a variety of hot and cold items at the free breakfast. It was nice to just walk next door for the concert. The only downside was that we did have to drive elsewhere for good beer and food. When the weather is decent, there are walkable options nearby. The staff was very friendly, helpful, polite and everyone seemed to enjoy working together. The suites we stayed in were well built, beautiful and brand new. Lovely! Thanks for a great stay!
- Susan (10/5): - I haven’t had such a pleasant hotel stay in a very long time. Staff were warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. Hotel was new and clean - meticulous attention to detail. I thought good continental breakfast was a memory of the past but SpringHill brought it BACK! Breakfast was amazing. 10/10 in every regard, would stay again and would recommend to all.
