Guest Reviews
- Nicole (10/5): - Everything about these cabins is just perfectly amazing. I was honestly surprised how prepared it was set up. And cute little welcome package. It was so peaceful, i just don't know any other words then easy and amazing to describe it. And beautiful. Also great communication and very helpful crew.
- Jon (10/5): - I travel nonstop for work and this has been by far the best experience I’ve had in a year
- Marina (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was very clean and had everything we could possibly need – a refrigerator, air conditioning, kitchen supplies like plates, cutlery, and cooking utensils. There was also a shower and toilet, so all the essentials were provided. Honestly, we didn’t use most of it because what we were really looking for was peace, nature, and the campfire experience. And that part was absolutely perfect – quiet forest, cozy fire, and even a sweet little personalized note with a cookie and marshmallow to welcome us. It made the whole evening feel warm and special.
- Ebony (10/5): - Omg I️ can’t wait to go, definitely 10/10. We loved it here.
- John (10/5): - If you plan to cook in the cabin, best to bring your favorite pans and sharp knives (or knife sharpener). Otherwise it was quite nice.
- Sharon (6/5): First time at Postcards. - The concept is great, as was the setting and configuration of the trailer. It was clean and the bed very comfortable.
We hit a couple of snags: a burner on the stove was still hot when we got there, and the refrigerator, which I needed for medications, was not turned on. Biggest opportunity for change was the heating and air conditioning which was loud and constantly coming on and off. I texted our host and the only way to turn it off was to get down on the floor in a cramped space and turn it off. A bummer when you are clamping in nice weather and want to feel the night air.
I would also reverse guests bring a night light as there are big steps up and down between the beds and bathroom.
The hosts were responsive and helpful.
- Laurita (10/5): Very, Very Nice! - Very relaxing, private and a beautiful view. It’s just what I needed. Staff were super helpful and friendly. I will visit again!
- Marvin (6/5): - The refrigerator did not work and my food spoiled, a little small for senior citizen, but we made it work. Could not get to the pond, maybe next time reserve a cabin next to the pond to fish. But overall a nice experience.
- Katherine (10/5): - Nature abound. Nice location
- Micah (10/5): - We arrived late at night. Too late to enjoy the campfire but it was easy to get I to. Shower and beds were so comfortable. So peaceful and tranquil. You won't regret staying here!
- Jimmie (10/5): - My mom recently passed away and I truly needed this getaway . Away from all the noise of home and family . My wife and I enjoyed staying here and plan to bring grandsons next time when we go to the zoo. The hosts were so kind and were quick to communicate with me . Thank you
- Kendria (10/5): Asheboro - It was everything I could hope for and will definitely come back.
- Michelle (10/5): - I LOVE Postcard Cabins!!!
- Jillian (10/5): A little slice of Heaven! - Postcard Cabins in Asheboro is a little slice of heaven on earth. My family and I stayed there on a roadtrip to Walt Disney World. We wanted to stop and see the North Carolina Zoo on the way down and the cabins are 0.3 miles from the Zoo so we figured we’d give it a try. The cabin was cozy and extremely clean. The property was beautiful and so peaceful! We spent two nights cooking out, making s’mores, watching fireflies, and truly reconnecting as a family. It was amazing. We were truly a little sad when it was time to check out. We will definitely be back!
- Kimberly (10/5): - Came down to visit the NC zoo for a few night to escape the real world the campers were adorable quiet and the perfect getaway for my boyfriend and I
- Korynne (10/5): - Great experience all around! Can’t wait to come back
- Jong Chul (10/5): Amazing experience - This trip has been such a wonderful memory for our family.
The warm hospitality of the staff and the thoughtful touches throughout the accommodation truly touched our hearts.
We would love to visit again, and we will definitely recommend this place to our friends.
- Kathy (10/5): - It was so peaceful and the cabin was set up perfectly. The communication was perfect and made me feel safe with all the things I needed to know. I can't wait to come back to the area and bring more of my family. I won't stay anywhere else.
- Jordan (10/5): - We needed a last minute place to stay close to the zoo and thought it might be nice for our kids to be closer to nature so we gave it a shot and it was perfect! We only needed a place to sleep for one night so space wasn’t an issue and the fire pit was the cherry on top.
- Zereasenai (10/5): - Amazing project
- Diyzo (8/5): - The overall experience was great. It helped us experience what the outdoor has to offer while still living in somewhat modern conditons.
I only had 3 concerns...
The fridge i believe had to be on for 24 hours before it actually got cold so our stay didnt qualify to refrigerate our beverages and food.
Lack of microwave but there is a small range and useable fire outside.
The shower curtain was tiny and water will splash from the shower head.
- Derek (10/5): Asheboro Zoo Stay - The stay at the cabin was great. Everything exceeded my expectations. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
- Amy (10/5): - The cabin is so well designed and the surrounding property is beautiful. I loved being able to relax outside with a fire at night and coffee in the morning. I was really impressed with the little extras like the s’mores kit, snacks and kitchen supplies, very thoughtful. No complaints, would definitely stay again.
- Agustina (10/5): - Loved the peace and quiet. Cabin was very cozy. I did miss having my Keurig to make my coffee though. Only thing I would change, which is rather minor is the shower curtain, it seemed rather short. One other thing I would like is a small roof over the front door. I will definitely use these cabins again. Thank you again for a great time
- Karen (10/5): - We loved the wooded setting and small lake. Our cottage was clean and had everything we needed. The outdoor fire pit/grill was perfect - we grilled steaks and veggies. The shower was very nice - great water pressure and plenty of hot water. We would have liked the refrigerator to be colder. And, if anyone has any mobility and/or balance issues, the steps may be a bit of a challenge to navigate. Our exterior steps were a bit steep and there is a big step to the lower bed and the bathroom. I have two replaced hips and I had to be careful, but adjusted. I would have liked to have had a grab bar or railing in the bathroom. We had a cottage for four with the 2nd bed in a loft area above the lower bed. The ladder is a bit steep, but okay for someone who doesn’t have mobility issues. We loved the big windows that let in plenty of light and the ability to open the windows and the screen on the door was great. Our two small pups loved our stay too. Bring bug spray and look out for ticks. One pup picked up a tick on her eyelid. We enjoyed our stay.
- Andes (10/5): - Hermoso
- Sandra (10/5): - The cabin was cute, well-stocked with supplies including fire wood, and it was in a scenic location of woods and gravel roads. We enjoyed our stay.
- Bryan (10/5): - Only my second vacation in 30 years...and I am so glad I happened upon these cabins. The lake view was wonderful through the picturesque window! These little gems have EVERYTHING..right down to the firewood provided! You will certainly see us again!
- Lateisha (10/5): - I love the PEACE!!!!!!!
- Christine (10/5): - It was great!
- Shaquna (10/5): - Loved it!
- Nicholas (10/5): - Perfect, quiet relaxing place. Very clean and great set up
- Ma lourdes (10/5): - At first I was hesitant to book this cabin/place because of safety reasons and that it will be our first time to experience staying in a "tiny house". After reading multiple reviews and feedbacks, I am impressed and thrilled to book for a 2-nights stay. My family and I enjoyed our short stay in Postcard cabin in Asheboro. We loved the cabin and it is close to NC Zoo. It is clean, quiet, safe, basic amenities and cooking wares, utensils are also available. Thanks for the treats! The only negative I can comment is that there is Fire ban in the area, so we were not able to have smores and grill using the firepit. Overall, we are happy and our friends loved all our picturesque. Will definitely recommend this place.
- Carlos (10/5): - Great place to Getaway! Love that the fire amenities and s'mores were included!
- Catherine (10/5): - We would recommend these charming tiny cabins to friends and family. We appreciated all of the complimentary provisions whether we used them or not such as the smores kit including long skewers for the fire pit, boxed water, first aid kit even including tampons, coffees, teas, creamers, sugar. Other items were there for use like fire clickers, cork screw, kitcken utensils, books, card games, radio and a stowaway box for devices. No tv, microwave or hair dryer but I survived. Bedding was soft with down pillows and warm duvet. The large window made for amazing sunset and sunrise views. Perhaps due to the time of year we literally saw only one squirrel and two birds. The proximity to civilization was convenient whilst still having a wilderness feel. It was cute, clean and quiet. Recommend!
- Linda (10/5): - I think our take away was just acknowledging the concept of Post Card Cabins and what a difference it made in us feeling refreshed and relaxed in just a one night stay. The experience of little or no distractions, leaving your world behind and entering into a lovely cabin with an amazing scenic view is wonderful and renewing. Its quiet, comfortable the stting in Ashboro NC was just breathtaking. We hope to retutn soon !
- Darren (8/5): - No hot water! Was promised a hot shower on ad ! Warm at best! Tankless water heaters are a great way !
