Guest Reviews
- Marty (2/5): - The host whoever that evil person is the first night she was supposed to meet me at the Rendezvous place of whatever place it was didn't show up I waited for 4 hours in the dark with no phone call no nothing I called and called and called and called and nobody would answer for days I didn't get to stay one night on that boat that I thought was a cabin the boat was parked 200 yards out in the water and she expected me to get a kayak somewhere and roll out there with my luggage and belongings for 2 weeks was the most disgusting thing I ever went through in my life. I finally got a hold of her 3 days before my trip was over and I told her I was going to sue her and she said that is fine I wouldn't be the first person and I'm not going to be the last so she is obviously a scam artist and does this too many people I've read other comments on her page and every one of them are a terrible experience I don't see how you people Expedia could advertise such a place there's going to be hell to pay.........
- Victor (2/5): Stay away - What an absolute disaster! I booked this boat and I called the number no less than six times could not contact with anyone. Hotels.com did try to help me they could not contact anyone. So at 6 o’clock at night I was left with no place to stay and no one contacted me. I am sitting here the next day and no one has ever reached out to me. I lost my money. Hotels.com only gave me a $25 credit.
- Tameka (2/5): - The water, lights and bathroom didn’t work. Also the linen and bedding were mildewed with spots. I didn’t get to check in until like 8 pm when the check in was supposed to be 5pm. No good communication with the property management.
- Randy (2/5): - My husband booked this for us last night for Valentines Day, we tried several times to call and message to let them know when we would arrive and had a few more questions, after many attempts we didn’t even go as you have to call them to get the key and they never answered or replied to us. This is non-refundable so we didn’t go and we have lost our money. After seeing the first review I’m not sure why this is offered on any site.
- ben (2/5): - Nightmare! A sinking boat that is anchored in bay. Bilge pump kicks on every few minutes to pump the water out. It is disgusting! Wouldn’t take off shoes. 1st toilet full of pee, 2nd toilet full of poop and pee. This was because there was NO RUNNING WATER on the boat and this was because the battery that runs the water pump was dead. Host lied next day said it was because she forgot to tell me to turn some knob- If that were the case, Leo, the repair guy would have done that instead of trying to find a charged battery. You have to take a shuttle boat from ramp to boat which was not a problem but would have been nice if that was a little more clear in the description. The “outdoor parking” is the boat ramp parking lot that has zero lighting and is posted “no parking between sunset and sunrise”. The “heat” does not give off heat unless standing right in front of it. I woke up at 4 AM and could see my breath. There was nasty “water” in the vacuum cleaner leaking out onto the floor. I am only covering the safety issues, forget comfort. I promise I was trying to have the best attitude and thought it would be something fun and different. Offered to let me take a shower at the host’s house 2 miles away but at that point I was done. Brittney the host denied me a refund, even though I could not stay there the second night-no water. No on site dining, boat does not run, no way to lock yourself in, sleeps 2, and SO much more! Sleep in your car. Leo was a gentleman stuck in middle.
