• Glenn (4/5): - The bedroom was cold with no form of heating. There were no bedside tables or any furniture other than the bed. The curtains closed but the outside lights and street lights were so bright they lit up the room. The stairs into the bathroom were tricky.

The window in our room was open for ventilation but at 6°C outside, it was a bit chilly, and with no heater we had to warm ourselves up. The duvet was warm though, and the bed comfortable enough. Breakfast was a bit confusing as there were what seemed to be a lot of traverllers' food lying around, with no indication of what was provided. Just had to guess. Leaving a heater in the room for us would have been helpful.

A lot of seasonal workers staying and are up and down all night, cooking, running up and down the stairs, noisy, shiies spread all over hallway. We had our 2 children with us and we didn’t get any sleep at and the kids were frightened due to contact doors banging, to frightened to go to the toilet as there would be 4 or mite at a time altogether in thise areas. Possibly isn’t a place for families when seasonal workers are there as there was no respect for other customers nor children. We had to do 11 and a half hour trip to return home without any sleep at all.

• Marta (6/5): Muy economico, pero depende de los que se alojen.. - Llego a recepción a las 6.30pm y me han dejado una nota con las llaves. En toda la estancia, no vi a nadie del hotel. Tienen otro hotel cercano y si necesitas algo, tienes que llamar o ir al otro sitio. El detalle que me correspondia ppr estancia, obviamente, no lo huvo. Los baños y duchas son mixtos. A las 11 de la noche llegaron un grupo grande que estuvieron liandola hasta las mil, por lo que dificil dormir. El "desayuno" pone que es "sélf service" y la leche y yogurt están en la nevera... pues en la nevera hay de todo de todo el mundo y no sabes que puedes coger, y el resto de desayuno es pan bimbo, 2 mermeladas, crema de cacahuete y cereales. Lo bueno, la habitacion era amplia, las instalaciones están bien y la cocina tiene de todo para usarse. Y está a 4min del ferry. Economico, e instalaciones decentes. Eso si.
• Richard (6/5): - This property was spotless room amazing ' but no chair in room or shampoo . The shared kitchen area was clean plenty of breakfast to use ' but the noise from the train is tough to take even for me a heavy sleeper. The property was used by about 12 or more islanders who sadly did shift work so at 2.00 in the morning they are awake cooking talking far to noisy & would think it might make female clients feel un safe when using toilets showers .

• Louis (10/5): Je recommande!! - Très bonne localisation, à deux pas du ferry, de la gare routière et du centre ville. La gérante, Nicci, est extrêmement serviable et attentionnée. Le ménage est fait quotidiennement, la cuisine est équipée, les salles d’eau sont correctes et y’a même le stricte minimum du petit déjeuner mis à disposition. Je dirai que le seul point négatif c’est que les murs sont fins. On peut entendre des gens non attentionnés rentrer tard/partir tôt ainsi que les trains de la gare… Mais si vous avez le sommeil léger, prenez des bouchons d’oreilles ou une nuit à l’hôtel. J’y ai passé 5nuits et c’était super!

• Kristin (6/5): - Check-in was smooth and easy. Caitlin and Nicci were not present in the hostel when I arrived but had left me a nice note w instructions and key to my room. Facilities basic but v clean. But to clarify, this is not a hotel but a hostel. I had booked a private room w a double bed, which was spartan but comfortable (might be nice to have a reading lamp?). Bathroom/shower area (co-ed) downstairs. Great that breakfast is provided, and other guests I met were nice and cleaned up after themselves. But I was woken up just after 3am (!) by a half dozen people making themselves breakfast, laughing and talking quite loudly, clanging pans and dishes around, as though completely oblivious to how loud they were. And I'm a deep sleeper. Went on for a long while, kind of ruined my sleep. I've no idea how regular this is, but that should not happen, even for a hostel? And for my one night stay I was not paying hostel prices ($85NZ). A sign somewhere said that breakfast was available from 6am onwards, but with no one was on the property to enforce this nothing could be done. I opened my door at some point looking at them quizzically, didn't want to be 'that person', but nothing changed. :(. This explains my rating. The good thing is that they're right beside the train station, which meant I just trundled over there in the morning at 10 to check in for my trip.

• Gwendoline (2/5): - Türen der Toiletten ohne Haken um etwas aufzuhängen. Kalte Dusche, die auch sehr beengt war. Kissenbezug frisch? In einem 3 er Zimmer gab es 2 Hoch Betten und ein normales Bett. Das Hochbett war schwierig zu erklimmen und es gab keine Absicherung. Selbst für das wenige Geld sehr unangenehm. Tagsüber steht die Eingangstür auf aber es ist Birnen an der Rezeption. Unsicher!
