Guest Reviews
- Athena (10/5): - This place was perfect for those that want to get far away from the city, but still not too far. Someone who loves the forest and loves to stargaze. The bed was so comfortable and the set up was just ideal and perfect. Has everything you need for an animal And it was small enough but yet big enough for two. I highly recommend these if you’re trying to get away and just be able to just play games and entertain one another with good old-fashioned talk and board games no interference with technology. It was just perfect.
- Archishmat (10/5): - This place is magical! It has been 20 years since I slept with absolutely no artificial light on the horizon. Just the moonlight and me. It was peaceful and quiet. I was able to read two books and just find mental peace. I will be back for longer stays!
- Dan (10/5): - It was cozy and cute. A fire would have been nice but there was a ban. Thanks!
- Josie (10/5): - Unique space - perfect for getting out of service for a quick getaway. Will be back (:
- Candace (10/5): - Postcard cabins was an absolute picture perfect place. It was exactly as described. I had only one regret: that I could only stay one night.
The cabin was especially clean, the bed comfortable and I personally appreciate the bright white, crisp linens. The cabins are a perfect distance apart, you feel like you’re alone in the woods. The Adirondack chairs around the campfire were incredibly comfortable and even though there was a fire ban, I enjoyed sitting there in the quiet, listening to the deer rustle through woods.
I would have loved an extra blanket for the bed, but that was a minor detail and I would highly recommend bringing bug spray, you are in the woods.
The note left on the table was a sweet surprise and so were the little treats left on the counter. I can’t wait to return to these cabins and next time, I will stay longer.
- Pakdhiphan (10/5): - The drive to the cabin was nice in remote area. There will be no reception so you should try to get the information about the cabin before hand. The cabin is nice, cozy and clean. The location is quiet and remote. A very good 2 days getaway. Hood River is 45 minutes away so you can spend time there and come back to relax.
- Ryan (10/5): - Had a beautiful stay in the crystal cabin! Really nice to unplug and just enjoy the sounds of nature! Very relaxing time!
- Janice (10/5): - Nice place to be alone, rest and think, regroup.
- Monicalynn (10/5): - This cabins are so cute and perfect for a getaway! Just know that even in town you will have no cellphone service. The staff was very quick to respond with a plumbing issue. We will definitely stay here again!
- Richard (10/5): Par Excellence 😁 - Highly recommend 👌 Exceptionally Clean and Comfortable. Second time staying here in the very same Cabin too 😊Staff is extremely helpful 👍
- Verified traveler (10/5): A bit isolated but such a great get-away! - We loved staying at this place and plan to do so again. That said, be prepared that this is a fair bit "off the beaten path"; as such, we had no cell phone service there and there is no internet. This place is meant to be used as a true 'get-away'. For us, again, this was perfect!
- Anthony (10/5): - Excellent spot.
- Anya (10/5): - Wonderful stay!
- John (4/5): - Detail of how to find cabin by name and /or/number were confused.downloaded map of site showed only numbers 1-40. Got there at entrance and had not received cabin # to match my map. Had to go to store to get cell service.. Finally got # of Cabin. Cabin had stairs with swingout screen door to make it difficult to get at lock on door and no handrail on stairs.Once inside we found 10 inch step up into toilet/shower and 16-3/4 inch step up to get to the bed. We are in late 80s so these are not safe steps. We stayed 1 night and decided it was too unsafe to stay the 2nd night we had paid for.
- Dallas (10/5): Peaceful retreat - That little get away was great the cabins are adorable. They come with everything you need plus snacks and card games. We loved it. This will be a place we will come often.
- Jennifer (8/5): - Such a cute getaway! The bed and pillows were comfortable and the tiny house had everything we needed. Loved the extra touches with snacks, s'more kit, water, oatmeal, and even olive oil, and salt and pepper. Only thing that would have been nice is a list of kitchen tools that are stocked so we would have known to bring certain things. However it was provided good quality basics.
- Anthony (10/5): - Clean and quiet
- Sarrah (10/5): - Very relaxing
- Vanessa (10/5): - Everything was PERFECT. My family really enjoyed this spot.
- Jonathan (10/5): - Had a blast!
- Amber (10/5): - These cabins are absolutely darling and the area is beautiful and serene. We loved every minute of our stay! The only issue we ran into was that we needed two outlets near the bed for our CPAP machines. Other than that, it was perfect! Will stay there again!
- Race (10/5): - Perfect weekend getaway, no cell service and great to disconnect for a while
- Mohadeseh (10/5): - This was one of the best glamping experiences I have ever had. From the surprising snacks, to the thoughtful board games, postcard cabins exceeded my expectations! The cabin was more clean than even some five star hotels. I can’t express how amazing it was to disconnect and I am so glad there was no cell service. My only point is that I wish there was one hour added either to check in or check out time so the total hours for a night would be 20 not 19. Thank you!!!
- Winona (10/5): - This was the first time we stayed at the Postcard Cabins. We loved disconnecting with our phones and just spending time together. The cabins had everything we needed to get away and relax. The cabins were clean and stocked with everything you need and then some! Water, snacks, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and let’s not forget the s’mores kit for two 😊. Unfortunately there was a burn ban so we did not get to have the fire for the s’mores, but we absolutely will be going back again!
- Marian (10/5): - The cabins are beautifully designed and equipped for comfort! Beautiful wooded setting! Absolutely recommend and also a great access point for anyone hiking or skiing Mt Adams! Klickitat County is really a hidden gem to explore!
- Shon (10/5): - Great stay
- JENNIFER (10/5): - Overall a very nice weekend. I was a little surprised that there is no Wifi/cell service within miles of the cabin. This wasn't a problem for my weekend, but would be good for others to know! Thank you.
- DEBBIE (10/5): - Time to unwind. Relaxing. Basic amenities. Comfortable bed.
- Jennifer (10/5): - We loved the isolation and to be able to disconnect from our busy lives. It was very quiet and peaceful. You don’t notice your neighbors and everyone is very respectful of each other. The views of Mt. Adams were awesome. We explored the area and did some hikes. We cooked breakfast and dinner over the fire every day and enjoyed s’mores every night. There are not a lot of dining options in the area but if you are there for isolation, peace and quiet, and time in nature then it is a great location. If you like a fire every night then bring your own firewood. They provide some but it is not much. There is a cute general store a mile from the cabins if you forget anything.
They did a great job of providing everything you need in your cabin. The only thing I would change with the cabins is providing some shelving above the bed for clothing etc so people can unpack.
We loved it and will definitely use Postcard Cabins again.
- Rogene (8/5): - Enjoyed the serenity of the woods and that the cabins were well maintained! We had requested cabins close to each other (3 cabins), but despite an almost empty venue, we were placed far away from each other.
- Sharon (10/5): - Loved the setting and privacy.
