We had hair in our bed, asked for new sheets/blankets and were told they didn’t think there were any more but they’d look into it and get back to us. 45 mins later we went back down and the staff were outside smoking, came in when they saw us only to say there was nothing. Their comment to us was that the blankets weren’t dirty, just ‘permanently stained’. We did eventually get a few sheets so we had something, but no blanket. Prior guests food was left in our fridge. Bathroom towel was left damp on the rack. If we didn’t arrive around midnight and have to be up and on the road at 7am we definitely would have walked out and found somewhere else to go. I’ve since emailed out complaints and have yet to have any response. Oh and they didn’t have room keys so the staff had to let you in your room.
• Madison (2/5): - I’ve been attempting to contact the property manager for over a week. This hotel is nothing shy of a scam. The photos presented through all advertising companies are completely false and inaccurate. We had bugs, dirt and mold all over our room. Live wires hanging from the ceiling. Holes in the walls (photos to prove). Terrible smoke and feces odour filled the entire hotel. There is absolutely no way this hotel would pass a proper inspection nor is it sanitary enough to feel safe stepping inside. We could not possibly stay there. We were told our concerns were relevant and a refund would be in order. That promise has been ignored. The hotel is claiming Expedia is scamming them and its customers, but this hotel will not return calls or emails. DO NOT GO HERE! Trust me.

The worst part was instead of a key card they gave you a 10 digit code to enter on the keypad of the door which was super unresponsive and just didn't work at all.

There was feces left all over the toilet (NOT OURS!), Hair all over the bathroom and shower wall and bath tub, blood in the sink, hair from previous customers in BOTH beds (hair was black we are redheads) The room advertised had a jacuzzi tub, we were provided a regular tub with a shower that barely worked. Parking lot was filled with U-Haul trucks because they also rent out Uhauls therefore there was absolutely no parking left for customers, there was drug addicts hanging outside of the hotel, garbage bins were spewing of garbage. We requested that the staff clean our rooms, we gave them the entire day, came back to NOTHING cleaned, we requested again for staff to clean our rooms and was told no. Tried to get refund with refusal, so we stayed as we had no where else to go. We will NEVER rent here again.

The property felt very unsafe and I ended up leaving to stay elsewhere.

• Anastasia (2/5): - DO NOT BOTHER STAYING HERE!!! We checked in supposedly for 2 nights but left after the first night because there was no hot water in the hotel. We were never informed of this at check-in. There was a coffee maker in the room but they don't provide coffee. There were no towels or a shower curtain in the bathroom. There is signage up indicating and ice maker and vending machines which don't exist. The place is equipped for breakfast but it isn't a service they provide either. I requested a refund from the front desk because we had to leave but they told me that I had to contact Expedia, the company that we booked through. I contacted Expedia and was told that the hotel has to authorize the refund. I have left messages for the manager but have never received a response. It all sounds like a scam to me because the reviews I read before I booked were all very positive but now that I have stayed there it seems like the reviews are all negative. There are reviews from 3 weeks ago that say there was no hot water, yet the new hot water tank is sitting in the stairwell for who knows how long. Don't waste your money staying here. The place should be shut down!!

I called for help turning on the tv and I had to wait over an hour even though I was told one of them is coming up and they were just chatting outside it’s not that they were busy.. after I waited over 30 min i had to go to the lobby and ask again. I also asked for extra towel, he brought an old and not clean looking towel. There wasn’t any hot water, I had to shower with cold water. I called and told them, he said “ oh let me check “ and never heard back… In the morning there wasn’t anyone on the front desk, tried to call twice, no one answered my calls or calls me back… i left the card from the room in the room like they told me to do but they assured me that someone will be at the desk at 6am. I had a very busy weekend and booked the place to accommodate me with work and I needed to get good rest for the night but I was extremely unhappy with the whole experience with this place. No wonder why they don’t do refund.

I had expected Expedia to ensure a minimum standard before listing this property on their platform, but it was a nightmare from start to finish. During my three-day stay, my room was never cleaned, the same bedding was left unchanged, and no toiletries were provided. The staff were consistently rude and clearly lacked basic hospitality training. Gaining access to the facility was frustrating, as there was often no one at the front desk, meaning guests could be left waiting outside for long periods. The overall condition of the hotel is poor—it looks unkempt, poorly maintained, and far below reasonable expectations. I strongly advise Expedia to reconsider their association with this property, and I would not recommend it to any traveler.

He would not give me anything in writing stating they had no hot water Expedia was great, they tried calling to verify and of course the phone number was not connected to that address, but their “head office” likely overseas somewhere. I eventually left. Paid more than double for last minute Saturday night room elsewhere. Hotel of course tried to say they did have hot water, after some negotiations and eventually through a supervisor , Expedia finally saw what was going on here, and gave me full refund. Thank you Expedia. BTW when you pull in this hotels parking lot you will think your at U-haul as 50% of their parking lot is full of rental trucks, another side hustle there I’m guessing ?! VIP entry too, while you stand at the locked door waiting for someone to randomly walk by and let you in the building.

We are not picky when it comes to hotels and where we stay when we are out of town but this Inn is waaay down at the bottom when it comes to cleanliness, Staff, location, and service. First off, this establishment charge like they are a luxury Inn, literally 30$ less the 4 star hotel nearby. It's a scam and a rip off. When we first drove in the parking lot, we thought we were lost as we did not see any sign out front, all we saw was a line of parked U-Haul trucks. We turned around and drove by the area but we couldn't find it. Our navigation keep on taking us back at this parking lot, We looked at the website front photo of the Inn and yes we were in the right spot. Right there and then we didn't feel right about staying at this Inn, There were a sign in the lot that says "park at your own risk". We headed over inside, we didn't find anybody at the desk and we were standing there for a couple of minutes before a staff ask us about some info, he asked for my ID and checked us in, He handed me a page to sign and give us our key. The whole place has a smell but it wasn't pleasant. Muggy, minty, and stinky all together. We head over to our room, we were on the ground floor, this Inn has second floor but there's no elevator, so prepare to carry your suitcases upstairs yourself. The room at first glance if okay, a little dark despite of turning on the lights!!!! NEVER STAY HERE!!!
• Oscar (2/5): - First of all there’s only one throughout the hotel when you leave, you have to wait for the staff to come back before you come back kept breaking every five seconds to get about 20 to 30 key cards just get back in my room there were no clean towels in the bathroom or toilet paper TV was broken had wires all over the place and when I asked for a towel, they gave me one towel with a bleach stain on. It had to buy my own did not receive any breakfast, which stated. In the details of staying there that free breakfast was offered. Have not received the money that I put down for security deposit they have a number up on the door saying if the person at the front desk is not there please call it but when you call it, nobody answers the phone you gotta continually call over and over and over before someone could attend to you when I went to check out, there was no one there to assist me. I was supposed to leave and be on my way because I have an 8 Hours Dr. at 6 a.m. but I was left waiting until 640. I was calling the front desk attendance over and over and nobody answered until 6:35 AM at that point I was mad did not even come to check me out but told me that I could leave and they will check me out and then when I called back to confirm that they would check me out they just said yes yes yes we did but I did not receive no confirmation that they checked me out. I tried to cancel after the first day the website I used to book this hotel could not get a hold of them after constantly
• Joe (4/5): Very disappointed. - Our room was not anything like the picture shown. It was very dirty, and the bedsheets had stains on them, including cigarette burns, the bathroom was in shambles. The toilet seat was broken, the shower curtain was full of mold, the walls were chipping away, and there was no hot water no Wi-Fi either and not enough towels very disappointed. Not wheelchair accessible, or people with limited mobility would be very challenging due to multiple sets of stairs and no elevator.

No fitted sheets on bed and they were stained. Needless to say, we will not be back.

Room was dirty; stained sheets and pillows, bathroom tub had 2 large rusty dents in it, dried toothpaste splatter across the bathroom mirror, someone’s hair left on the shower curtain… overall not pleasant. Showered anyway and the handle for the shower faucet fell off. No hot water. No front desk person at all when checking out in the morning and after stepping out for a smoke to wait for said desk person, I was locked out of the building with no way of getting back in (thankfully had all of my things or would’ve been completely screwed and late for work.) Called the number on front door that is posted in the event that the desk person is missing around 20 times over the span of 30 minutes and got voicemail every single time. Went to work unsure if I would get my deposit back. They texted 2 hours later telling me I could come back at anytime to get it. Drove back after work and got deposit back and once again desk person seemed annoyed/ generally unfriendly. Overall unpleasant stay, certainly not worth the price. Would not recommend, will not be returning.
• AMANDA (2/5): - The check in was fine. It is not a good neighbourhood but the pictures looked ok. The room they put me in did not have a working keycard lock - you didn't need a key to enter at all! The bar lock on the inside had also been partially removed. When I went to the desk to explain this as a problem, I was told by Sam that "no one will go in your room if you are in there". I should never have had to explain why I was uncomfortable with this! I had to request another room, and was told only if I hadn't slept in the bed yet. Again, safety is your first priority, people! It doesn't matter if I slept in the bed (I hadn't) if the door won't lock! The second room had no working AC during a heat wave, had no soaps and had no towels in the room. I settled as it had a working lock. Both rooms had peeling paint, hair on the floor and shower walls, dirt on the floors, and I was very uncomfortable. This is absolutely false advertising and I would absolutely not recommend it to anyone. Expedia should not be allowing them to use their services, this should absolutely not be acceptable. The hotel refused a refund, so they obviously do not care about their guests.

• Crystal (2/5): - I’m not sure where to start, booked in for 2 nights for a baseball tournament, NO hot water all weekend in 30-35 degree weather and not being able to shower (awesome) there was left over dirt in the bathtub , hair on the walls , and mold on the bottom of the shower curtain. 2 partially used rolls of toilet paper, registered 3 guests and received one partially folded body towel, NO wash cloths , NO hand towels. Sheets on the 2 beds , 1 bed was proper , the other bed had a flat sheet as the bottom sheet. Also hardly any parking due to the side business they are running with renting UHaul huge vans that take up most of the parking. I won’t ever stay there again . Also was told I’d be getting 150$ back at the end of my stay . Then they changed their mind at check out . They returned my deposit but said I have to wait until they speak to Expedia as I was a 3rd party booking.

• Dylan (2/5): - There was no hot water which they could have let us know at check in. couldnt get into building without front desk staff who werent there all the time. Not a very safe neighbour hood couldnt leave at night to walk around.
• Fatih (2/5): - I do not recommend to go there. And in the bed you smell pee. no television, no remote no air condition and no hot water. Towel it’s dirty somebody clean his ass with towel

• Michael (2/5): - Terrible hotel. First room the door would not lock. Second room has no towels, nothing, no bath mat, face towel. AC barely worked. Tv did not work. I was offered a firestick but the wifi was not working. And absolutely no hot water in the morning
• Verified traveler (2/5): - Dear Hotel Manager, I wanted to reach out to express my disappointment with my recent stay. I’ve stayed with you before and had no issues, which is why I was surprised by the condition of the room this time. After working a 15-hour shift at the Festival of Friends, I was simply looking forward to a hot shower and some rest. Unfortunately, the room had no towels and there was no hot water. Additionally, I discovered a broken mirror under the desk with shards of glass on the floor, one of which I accidentally stepped on while barefoot. The TV also never worked during my stay. I reported these issues to both the night and morning staff, who were both kind and apologetic and mentioned a discount. Could you please confirm whether any adjustment was made to my credit card. Thank you for your attention to these matters. I look forward to hearing from you.
• Victoria (2/5): - Do not stay here. The hot water was broken for Three full days. We spoke to staff about it several times, only to be met with lies and gaslighting about the information they had previously given (the guy literally told us that we hadn’t been down to complain before,?? Do you think we are stupid?) Everything is stained and disgusting. The front door is completely unsafe. You need to be buzzed in by someone behind the front desk. There is almost never anyone there, which means that you are locked out. We were forced to pick the lock with the damn room key just to enter the front door several times. Which means the door is completely unsafe as a security measure to begin with. Also, they have been entirely unreasonable and unresponsive in our case to obtain a refund. It is absolutely ridiculous to operate a “Hotel” where you can’t shower, the staff are beyond rude, and I WAS THE DOORMAN for thirty minutes yesterday morning while I was waiting for ANYONE to return to the desk so we could request a roll of toilet paper (We were provided only one roll, and no housekeeping.). I literally had to let four hotel guests into the building or they would have been locked out of the front door for the full thirty minutes. I’m actually begging you not to stay here. Please. For your own good.
• Just (2/5): - A 3 day stay wrong room absolutely no hot water for 3 days no reduction in cost just excuses no remote for ac no television mold in the rooms absolute horrid experience
• Darrin (2/5): - The room was extremely dirty, bedding had stains and cigarette burns in them, bathroom shower head had a Caramilk wrapper around the hose, I am guessing because of a leak, old hair from previous people on shower floor and dirty, both towels were stained, no hand towel or face cloth, dirt on floor from not being swept, half used rolls of toilet paper, no fresh wrapped ones, only one out of four lights worked in bathroom, fan did not work, no hot water for the shower, had to have cold shower, Lysol bottle left in room , but would say was not used for cleaning this room, ice macine did not work, old container left on floor, I would not recommend this establishment or ever stay here again
• Tracy (2/5): - The pictures online are far from what the rooms actually look like. Sheets were stained, the room was not clean, and the walls dirty, seems like javex was sprayed prior to check in to make it smell cleaner. This booking was for 2 nights and only stayed one, would not advise anyone to use their service.
• Brandon (2/5): -5 stars horrible stay and disgusting - No hot water in the whole building all weekend drains clogged with hair no toilet paper or towels in the room wall paper ripping with black mold behind it water damage lights broken or not working very dirty would talk to the worker to let them know at the desk and all they would say is I’m not the manager very horrible stay would never stay again
• Killy-Ann (2/5): - There was no hot water. I checked in at 5pm and was never informed of the issue. At 9pm i went to take my shower and had to find out the inconvenient way. The washroom is gross theres toothpaste all over the mirror and wall.
• Charles (4/5): - There was dog pee on the floor. the hallways was putrid with cigerette smoke. didnt even make it to the room had to turn around and check out. went and stayed in my car.
• Elvira (2/5): - Dirty and so old, unkempt! Should not be on your list
• Tracy (8/5): - The only thing they didn’t have to offer was the breakfast as the area was closed (not too sure as to why). Although Tim Hortons was within walking distance.
• Charles (10/5): Very Good - It was ok and the staff on duty was quite cooperative.
• Louise (2/5): Disgusting Sercice, Dirty Hotel - Terrible DID NOT STAY, HOTEL REFUSING TO CANCEL AFTER 1 HR. Place dirty no TV, no chair to sit on. Piss on lobby floor. Sign stating no animals however dog living in hotel. Toe nail clippings on floor in room

• Dani (2/5): - The attendant spent the entire time on the phone, kept my license for the duration of my stay, had unexpected fees at check in, said they would accept cash but didnt have change, hotel manager came to my room at 11:30pm to give me change, when i got my change it wasnt exact and they kept the difference, the ac unit had a drip, disgusting room, moldy bathroom, broken shower and to top ot off there were people running through the halls all night
• Mario (4/5): - Towels provided only once.
• ROWENA (2/5): Terrible Hotel - from the unprofessional receptionist, building is very dirty and smelly. Tables are stained , with scary bed bugs side beds are molded.
• Maria (8/5): - The property is centrally located and clean.
• Justine (2/5): - I had to change rooms 3 times. The first one they gave me already had people in it. The second one was the dirtiest room I’ve ever seen. And the third one had a dirty thong hanging on the pipes of the sink. The room cards were never working the first time I had to go back 8 times. The staff were kinda weird and insisted that they known me even though they didn’t i didn’t feel safe nor comfortable
• Tejbir (8/5): - Property itself was decent but the surroundings was questionable a lot of vagrants and hobo types
• Emily (2/5): - there was mold in the shower. we had no towels they were never out at the desk so we couldnt ask for towels there was no hand soap the one towel that was there for the floor was dirty. there was a creepy guy there and when my boyfriend went out to smoke and come back in the guy yelled at him for trying to open the front door when no one was at the desk
• Savanah (2/5): - This place was absolutely horrifying. Junkies outside asking for drugs, rooms were disgustingly dirty, beds have been slept in and remade with crumbs, toenail clippings and dirty tissue still left in them. We tried 3 different rooms and they just got worse every time. The smell was unbearable. I would never wish anyone to stay here. Owner was completely useless and rude.
