Guest Reviews
- Brittanee (10/5): - We loved our stay at Altus Lodge. The newly remodeled rooms were cute and cozy. We felt right at home. Entry was easy. Really loved how quiet it was (minus the children running around creating a lot of noise above us as we were trying to sleep at night.) There’s an outdoor fire pit and hot tub which was really nice to use. Restaurants and shops were just a few blocks away and easily walkable to, and there’s a small grocery store right next door.
- Mary (10/5): - Easy place to bring our pup and felt right at home!! Beautifully decorated and very cozy!!
- Amanda (10/5): - The check in process was totally online so we did not interact with staff. I am ok with that! The room was comfortable, clean, cute and quiet. I was worried about the temps falling below freezing at night and only having a wall air/ heat unit. But, I didn’t need to worry. I turned the heater down and took off blankets before the night was over. Will 100% recommend staying here.
- Mary (10/5): Great experience! - Very clean room. Comfortable bed. Beautiful Mountain Views with a convenient market nearby. We will definitely stay there again.
- Ridley (10/5): - Very nice and clean place to stay
- Calvin (6/5): - Has to hang blankets over windows so passing people could not see in our room. Personally I don’t care if they seen me but my girl on the other hand wasn’t so keen on it
Please don’t let this be a distraction from the property. It’s nice clean and simple. Loved it 😍
- Rick (8/5): - Enjoyed our stay just felt price was a little high for amenities
- Brian (8/5): - Hot tub was great.
- Loren (8/5): - The room was very nice and adorably decorated and the mountain view was excellent. The mattresses were comfortable and there was no noise and we slept great. We just wished there was more space for our suitcases and some counter space in the bathroom. Also, there were 6 girls who checked into room next door while we were there and they must have all showered back to back bc they left us ZERO hot water. Fortunately, they were only there one night. These were our only complaints. The maid was very very nice and she cleaned our room one day when we asked her for towels and a second time while we were there which was plenty. The management is very responsive. We loved the game room and playing Galaga on the game machine. I got in the hot tub one night and it was really nice but it was dark and I was wishing I could see the bottom of the hot tub so I didn't stay too long but that may not bother most people as I have a thing about not being able to see the bottom of lakes etc. The only grocery store in town was directly next door and a few steps away which was very convenient. We would definitely stay there again.
- Zack (10/5): - The room was very clean and Tracy was super amazing and accommodating for us. Would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely come back and stay here again
- Tomer (10/5): - Super clean, perfect for what we came for (hiking ice lake trail, it's a 15 min drive) and overall we're super pleased with our stay!
- Karen (10/5): - Newly remodeled, very clean and quiet.
- Julie (10/5): - Great location, cute room with all we needed for our 2 night stay.
- Jill (8/5): - No one cleaned the room, made beds etc during the 4 days we were there. Maybe the trash was taken out. This property is on the edge of town and is really a dressed up motel. No staff is ever seen, so no services, no hospitality. That said the rooms are nicely appointed. You have to walk 5 or six blocks to the restaurants and coffee shops. Not so great in the rain! It is a beautiful area and we enjoyed the hiking but this place was overpriced for service delivered.
- Jared (10/5): - Wonderful little
- Brady (10/5): - Beautiful bathroom and clean rooms
- Lea (8/5): - Nice place, great town.
- kyle (10/5): - All around great place to stay clean very nice and loved the decor
- Megan (10/5): Great stay! - We had a great stay at Altus Lodge! The lodge was clean and well decorated. Check-in was easy. The lodge was in a great location and walkable. Would definitely stay again.
- Courtney (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay. It likes that we could walk to town and dining options. I would suggest ventilation fans in the bathroom. Otherwise clean and comfortable.
- Rajnish (8/5): - All was good except there is no elevator.
- Agata (10/5): - It was very clean and excellent service .
I highly recommend 😊
- Alex (10/5): - This place definitely exceeded my expectations. Room was very clean, beds were super comfortable, the shower had great water pressure. Right next to the grocery and short walk to restaurants /shops. A couple of caveats: (1) the upstairs is not accessible for wheelchair users (and likely difficult for people with mobility impairments in general); (2) there are no staff on site as far as I could tell. All that said, I would definitely stay here again.
- Brandon (6/5): - Our room smelled of baby vomit
- John (10/5): - Big room, clean and tidy. Comfy bed. Remote check in and out. Good position at the bottom of Silverton high street.
- Luke (8/5): Simple fixes will make this much better! - Liked the stay, clean bed, clean bathroom.
Please put a reflective film on the bathroom window the buildings behind it can see clearly into the shower. Parking was a bit annoying and un organized, no lines, people park like fools if not controlled.
- Laurie (8/5): - Clean good location
- Tiffany (10/5): - Beautiful place! Very clean and great location.
- Amanda (10/5): Beautiful Room - We were driving down from Pitkin CO to Tucson AZ and stayed a night. Absolutely blown away. The room was beautiful, exceptionally clean. Bed was comfortable and shower was top notch. We will be back!
- Laticia (10/5): - Lovely, clean room with outstanding views!
- Sherene (10/5): - Good, easy, convenient!
- Jenny (10/5): - Look no further! This is where you want to stay in Silverton!!
The property is amazing. Our room was so beautiful, cozy, quiet, and very clean. We were informed by one of the local store owners that the Altus Lodge is all new as off the end of 2024. We stayed for multiple nights and loved the area and the people. Overall, it was a great place to stay. We have recommended it to many of our friends who are looking to head out that way. One of Silverton's finest! The price was amazing for what you get!
- Deanne (10/5): - Very comfortable and cozy. Rooms were very nice. We had an issue with our door lock and Tracy was very nice and helpful in fixing and clearing it up. We would stay here again. Only quam is no ice machine.
- Alexis (10/5): - Our room was so cute!! I loved all the updates this Motel had! They really thought of everything to make things comfortable for guests! The game room was fun and the hot tub was a nice surprise.
- Robert (4/5): - Good location, nice room but lacking some amenities. Check in was not explained properly and resulted in lost time and frustration.
- Camille (10/5): - Room was comfortable, could have been cleaner. I always use a black light to check for cleanliness. Very dusty behind the beds, cobwebs on the lamp between the beds. Bathroom appears clean but when you use the black light you can see how dirty the walls and floors are.
- Mark (10/5): Best stay in Silverton, CO - Was the coolest room with quality bedding and towels! They use LL Bean blankets and wonderful soaps and shampoo! Bed was extremely comfortable!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great basecamp - We had a lovely stay at the Altus. The rooms are nicely designed, and I like the ease of parking right out front and having the contactless check in. The lodge is a nice basecamp for exploring the area.
- Valerie (10/5): - Great staff and help with checking in early. Very accommodating with our big trailer! Super clean, great shower, beds a little hard but that’s just my preference! Would def stay again.
- Martin (10/5): - Very good location
Clean
Manager was available, pleasant and very helpful
- Diane (8/5): - The grocery store was right next-door! It was close to the ski areas we were visiting. The room was nicely, decorated with hooks to hang your coat. The bed was very comfortable.
- Jessica (10/5): Highly recommend - Great location, accommodation and service. Would stay again!
- Bruce (10/5): - Clean, Quiet, Comfortable
- Robbie (10/5): - This place blew away my expectations. They were super amenable to my changing plans, had great facilities, were very responsive to communication, the hot tub was great and pet friendly. Easy walking to food and drink and the grocery is across the street. You name it, they did it well! I will definitely stay here again.
