- Denise (8/5): - Great location downtown… walking distance to grocery store and fun entertainment. We had a great room with a balcony that wrapped around. They also had a beautiful rooftop terrace to lounge. The valet parking and housekeeping were a bit pricey.
- Farm (8/5): - The property wash excellent. The difference of a 4 and 5 for this stay is there were no cups on my last day of stay. Team members seem nice but not friendly. Example, they barely said good morning or hello. Some of the employees appear to be on their phone. Not sure if it was business related. The valet person on duty was very nice. Got the door for me on multiple occasions. Very easy to get a 5 with very minimal turnaround.

- Mayra (8/5): - Hotel is in the perfect place to walk to nearby restaurants and events. Rooms are spacious, clean, and perfect! Just like the picture. I would give this hotel a 5, but the only problem I had was parking. Valet is $60/night. Parking anywhere around there is pricey because of the events at the stadium. If they had their own parking this hotel would be perfect.

- Luke Daniel van (4/5): - Check in time was later than usual for a two night stay. Tried checking in slightly early multiple times, ended up checking my bags in. After coming back after our scheduled check in time we had a 45 minute processing time, just to find out our room had been given away & was trying to say I was going to be charged a no show fee after verbally agreed that is was ok to show up later.

- Kennesha (10/5): Highly Recommended - My overall stay as a solo traveler was perfection! I came for a concert at Petco Park, and I felt extremely safe, the staff was perfect and you’re in walking distance to all the popular restaurants and stores. Finally, I loved the fact that it wasn’t like your typical hotel, but a more intimate studio room setup.
- Anitalyn (10/5): - This was our second time at Sentral Gaslamp and we'll definitely be back. The rooms are compact but have everything including a stove, oven, microwave, large fridge, dishes, cookware, and washer and dryer in the unit! The floor to ceiling windows are fantastic and the views of the city are great! The staff is super friendly, especially the valet. The only bummer is the lack of self parking, but just figure the valet cost into the travel budget.

- Amanda (10/5): - Amazing stay, came for the Chris brown concert, only complaint is it was obviously busy with parking but there was no indications of parking for this hotel until after I parked elsewhere and they said "you can park here for the same $60+ you just spent but you can stay until morning!" What? That would've been nice to know that parking wasn't included to begin with, I paid it regardless but had to walk the extra distance to a different parking lot since the main parking lot was not advertised

- william (4/5): - Not trying to be a jerk. Waited 40 minutes in line to find out the valet was full because they sold spots to people going to the Padres game. Had to go 2 miles to find an available overnight parking. Admittedly this may be because of ignorance, wasn’t sure which places allowed overnight parking. Check in was efficient, when we got in the room the washer/dryer didm’t work. Not a big deal necessarily but it was an amenity we counted on. They don’t provide ice, but there is a refrigerator. But if you need something cold right away beware, there is one ice tray. Not trying to dissuade you, but we just seemed to have bad luck. Our fault I guess for booking on a weekend after the Padres secured a spot in the playoffs.

- susan (8/5): - This is a nice hotel, clean, nice staff and modern, crisp look. As a tea drinker, there wasn't much there. No tea in the room and only a few random bags in the lobby. Also, the lobby ran out of hot drink cups. From an eco perspective, the cups in the lobby were not compostable. I liked the idea of using codes, but it was awkward in the elevator - many digits and you basically had to reveal your room code if you were in the elevator with someone else. I would recommend an elevator code that is the same for all guests and maybe just 4 digits so no one can see your room code.

- Andrew (10/5): - The apartment was very home away from home. Great location for restaurants and bars and a few minutes walk to the trolley (tram) to explore San Diego. Great amenities in the apartment, nice to sit at a table and eat or relax on the sofa and watch TV.

But traffic, emergency sirens, trash pick up, people conversing- it’s a shame because it was a nice hotel - it they had spent more on insulated glass on the front, it maybe better - but if it’s a quiet night you want (??!!), seek a room in the back of the hotel….

Super comfortable and would have been suitable for a long stay. Missing the conveniences of a hotel (like an ice machine), but all in all a great night in the Gaslamp Quarter

- Frederick Constantine (8/5): - It was an interesting hotel in that the majority of the rooms are owner occupied, and only the 2nd and 3rd floors are hotel rooms. We also didn't know that they only had Roku tv, and not live tv. Last, the room was very nice, but the room faced the building across from us. We couldn't open our blinds, without everyone on the other side looking into our room. Also, the other building had a company setting up scaffolding on the side of their building that started at 8am for 3 days in a row.

I love that it had great access to public transportation!
- Rita (8/5): - I really enjoyed my stay at Sentral Gaslamp Quarter overall and would definitely recommend it. The staff was excellent, friendly, helpful, and definitely a 5-star experience. The building itself is modern, safe, and very walkable to restaurants and attractions. The room was beautiful, spacious, and had more of a studio apartment vibe, which I loved. That said, I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because of a few small issues. Cleanliness could be better; I found a couple strands of hair on my towel and bed, which was disappointing. The gym is convenient but on the smaller side and doesn’t have a wide range of equipment. Also, I could hear noise from the room next to me late at night, which made it harder to sleep. Still, the overall experience was great, and with a little improvement on cleanliness and soundproofing, it would easily be a 5-star stay.

- Brian (10/5): - Had an excellent stay at the hotel. The corner suite is a well-put together room that was super comfortable and had a nice deck to walk outside on. The staff was great and check in was fast. I was pleased with their eco efforts including the cardless entry, but I think the bathroom timer would benefit from a few more minutes in length so I’m not waiving at it from the shower in the dark 😉. Otherwise it was hard to beat its location in the Gaslamp area that was a short walk for everything and easy entry to the highway and quick trips to the beaches if you have a car. Would stay there again.

- Carlos (6/5): You cant park there - Upon visiting the hotels website, it states they have parking available once we got to the hotel we checked with valet and he tells us parking is full as a registered guest. You would think they would hold a parking spot for you your vehicle. So i had to park 8 blocks away in an open parling lot amd paid way more then what valet was charging.The day before my check in day I tried to check in online and was unsuccessful so I tried the following day and was still unsuccessful. I get to the hotel try to check in with their automated service and was unsuccessful. A gentleman came over and helped me check in never introduced himself, but was polite and kind. I hoping to receive some type of compensation for my parking sotuation

- Christopher (10/5): - Really enjoyed the proximity to Petco, the Zoo and dining options. The room itself was great. Spacious and all the amenities. A couple of things that would really improve this room are as follows: 1. A dresser or some storage for clothes other than the closet. The desk that the TV sat on could be replaced with a dresser and be much more practical for guests. 2. Hooks in the bathroom. A couple of hooks over the door or another towel rail in the bathroom would make hanging multiple towels or other clothes really convenient. 3. Take the bathroom light off a timer. Got caught a couple of times in the shower when the light went out. Not huge for me but could see it being an issue for others. A couple of small adjustments this hotel room might have ended up being in my top 5 rooms all time I've stayed in. Staff was friendly and the codes instead of keys was really cool.
- Jose (4/5): Expected better - This was our first time staying here. The hotel and the rooms were ok. The shower’s water pressure was poor and the water barely got luke warm. But one of the main reasons why we choose this hotel was because they offered valet parking. We arrived 15 mins after our 4:00 pm check-in and were told the valet parking was full. So we had to park four blocks away and carry our bags to the hotel. The hotel staff was useless and seemed like they didn’t care when I told them about the parking issues. I would like to think a hotel like this could make other accommodations for the hotels guest’s parking, but the didn’t. I’m very disappointed and wouldn’t stay here again.
- GUADALUPE (6/5): - Arrive on 8/23 upon arrival to the hotel they did not have any available parking for their customers. The parking was full and sold out due to a baseball event. Due to that I had to park 9 blocks from the hotel. That was the only bad review for this hotel other than that the hotel was clean. Next time make sure you have parking space for your guest no matter if we had to pay $65.00 for parking guest should be priority first.

- Martin (2/5): - Check in was ridiculously late. Staff was uninformed, overwhelmed and full of excuses. Manager was nowhere to be seen for two hours. Not a place to go.
- Marco Antonio (10/5): - Excellent service. Very convenient walking distance to petco park and local establishments. Hotel was really clean and safe. The bed was comfy. Newer hotel I recommend.
- Pamela (10/5): - Beautiful location, easy off and on the freeway but close to public transportation and easily walkable throughout the Gaslamp Quarter. 2 blocks to Petco Park (Go Padres!). Staff were friendly and helpful, while valet parking was $65 a night, it was convenient and the valets were great and efficient. Interior seemed new.

- Michael (10/5): - Great room for a Padres game. I thought the urine smell was the homeless tweakers but it might have been the people walking there dogs and letting them pee everywhere. Back to the room though….shower pressure is weak but passable. I would stay here again. The bed was really nice and comfy with lots of pillows.

- Barbara (8/5): I highly recommend this hotel - This hotel was on a very good location. It was in walking distance to Petco Park and the Gaslamp district to bars and restaurants. Our room was very comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen. It can get noisy being downtown streetside, so bring ear plugs or ask for them at front desk. Valet parking was secure with unlimited in & out access.
- Ka Wai (10/5): - I liked the balcony and the room was spacious. Bathroom is also big. It even has detergents and fish soap.
- Kenny (10/5): - The furnishing in the property is the best makes me feel like I never left home or as if I have a home already in San Diego the cleanliness is a huge plus for me
- Patrick (8/5): - They put me on second floor where it was noisy and asked to upgrade my room and stated there weren’t any available. Understandable as it was a Friday. Overall the pictures of the rooms do not match what you’re getting as advertised. Friendly staff but there is no hotel guest parking. Only Valet for $60 a day. Had to park a few blocks away in private parking lot.
- Casey (10/5): Teddy Swims Concert - Close to Petco. The staff was very welcoming. The bed was suuuper comfy.
- Sharon (8/5): - The hotel was pretty much as pictured. Although the staff was friendly, you checked yourself in and you checked yourself out no help. The overnight parking was $65 😳
