- Susan (10/5): Beautifully, elegantly restored historical site - We absolutely loved Masseria Torre Saracena and were so happy to have booked our stay here. The building is an elegantly restored historic stone structure. Each room has a small private balcony with views of the surrounding valleys, hills, town of Aggrigento, and ocean in the distance. We also had a view from the bathroom window of the stone cliffs behind us. The property is located in the foothills outside of Aggrigento, very conveniently located to town and all of the Valley of the Temples historic sites. Breakfast was a delicious assortment of savory (cheeses, meat) and sweet (pastries), fresh fruits, yogurt, juices, and more. We would definitely stay again.
