Guest Reviews
- Paul (8/5): - Serenity Island Resort offered us a truly memorable stay thanks to the incredible staff who made us feel like family. A special thank you to Emosi, Nate, David, Peter, and Seru for their kindness and hospitality. Our oceanfront bure had beautiful views, and we enjoyed walking in the shallow waters at low tide, spotting purple starfish and other sea life. Snorkeling was good all around the island, and the sandbar trip to the coral walls was a highlight.
The resort is older than pictured online, and some equipment like kayak paddles could use updating, but the experience was still lovely. The handline fishing was fun, and the staff fried up our catch for a delicious meal. The lovo dinner was another standout. We recommend the full board meal plan as the food was fresh and varied each day.
One challenge was with their reservations team, based off-site, who were out of sync with the actual resort schedule. Activities we pre-booked, like massages, fishing, and scuba, did not match what was available, and we needed medical clearance for scuba that wasn’t communicated.
It’s better to book activities once you arrive. Despite a few hiccups, Serenity Island Resort offered a wonderful experience filled with warmth, culture, and beautiful scenery.
