- Michael (6/5): - Expedia misrepresented the room on this property. Yes it was a "Falls View" room but the view was so small. Room very small. I could not even sit on the toilet properly and I am 6 foot 200 lbs. Unreal. Staff was not responsive to our needs of light bulbs that were burned out and that was just the beginning. Our maid was great and the room was a 6 out of 10 on cleanliness but we are fussy. Stay elsewhere if you can. Not this place. BTW the restaurant hosed us on price and service. Shame on me for not checking prices first. Stay in Niagra on the Lake area and commute to the falls for day trip of touring the falls.

- Kimberly (10/5): - Right at the base of Clifton Hill, this hotel was within easy walking distance of so many restaurants and souvenir stores. It is close to stops on the blue and green line buses as well so if walking was not an option, the buses allowed us to get to our destination with ease. The check-in staff were lovely and our room with the falls view was both the US & Canadian falls as well as the nightly fireworks. No street noise made it up to us either as we were facing away from Clifton Hill and the road that the hotel is on is actually fairly quiet. It is adjoining to the Sheraton by a covered walkway which allows quick access to the casino and a covered walkway to the waterpark. It is also steps away from the Rainbow Bridge if you want to walk to the middle of it (don't forget your travel documents to get back into Canada!) or I guess to the US. The only downside is there is no hot tub and the saunas are not working. We went for a swim in the pool, which is enclosed, but you can clearly see where the hot tub was in the past and I don't know if the sauna was just broken or if it has been de-commissioned as well. I highly recommend getting those up and running otherwise the pool area is just wasted space. This hotel is not a pickup point for any tours you may wish to do BUT the Sheraton is so don't let that dissuade you from booking something. All in all, I WOULD stay here again. For the price of other Fall view rooms, this hotel was a steal.

Our room was very clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Water pressure in the shower was great. My only minor complaint is that we booked a queen sized bed and it definitely is not queen size. Our bed at home is a queen and this was a full size smaller. Not a big deal, it was still comfortable but definitely not what we had originally booked. Also the rooms run on the warm side. We had the "air conditioning" set to 15 Celsius (lowest it can be set) and it absolutely was Not 15 degrees. I would have been shivering to death, instead I was in a t-shirt and sleeping without a blanket because I was too warm. Again not a huge problem but I would have loved to have a more comfortable sleep. I would still recommend this hotel and we will be back ourselves. Considering those two small issues, we found the rates to be fair.

- Erika (4/5): - We stayed here for our anniversary weekend. The service was great when we first got there and they even upgraded us to a fallsview room which was really nice of them. Unfortunately, the room you could barely see the falls (which I didn't mind too much because we originally didn't have a fallsview anyway) and after taking a shower I cut my foot on something in the washroom, we think it was a piece of glass or maybe even sharp plastic which we reported to the hotel. We parked in the hotel parking that was $40 for one night (which is pretty pricy but we were ok with this because we assumed our car would be safer there). But when we went back to our car the next morning, someone hit our car pretty badly and didn't leave a note. The bumper of our car was ripped out and the light shattered. I was shocked, when we asked security to see the cameras he chuckled a bit and said unfortunately where we parked is the only floor not covered by cameras. I had to cancel all our plans to deal with this issue and we reported it to the police who said they can't do anything as there is not enough information about the accident. Anyway we learnt our lesson to buy a camera for our car after this. We won't be going back to this hotel, although the staff is really nice and accommodating. I feel like the hotel doesn't really do enough to keep the guests staying there safe.

- Michael (6/5): Nice view, balcony, but... - We chose this hotel because of the balcony and views, I would not stay again. I thought about asking for a different room, but it was pretty booked out and decided I could live with it for the few days we were there. The lobby was very nice, check in was smooth, when we got off the elevator on our floor, was hit with old hotel smell. Our room was ok, a little small but at least no smell. The bathroom was very small with a pedestal sink, no vanity or shelving to put anything. I had to keep moving my toiletry bag, couldn't unpack it like I prefer, it sat on the back of the toilet. They put towels, etc on the dresser in the room due to no space in the bathroom. A shelf above the toilet and/or beside the sink would have helped. Very electrical outlet deficient as well. One side of the bed had an outlet so at least my husband could plug in his c-pap machine. I had to charge my phone during the evening, across the room since I didn't have an outlet. The patio was nice, but the pavers were wobbly and the wrought iron taking could use some paint. Despite the updates needed, we did enjoy sitting on the balcony in the morning and watching the fireworks at night.

I wish the breakfast were included in the fee same as the majority of the hotels around the would but it was not. Charging 25 dollar for hotel service was not logical and parking space for the guests should be out of charge. I want to tell you that although I was told 260 dollar per night but it was jumped to 330 (hotel service and parking!!!) but apart from the above notes i was satisfied with my staying and we enjoyed.

Don't waste your money on the "deluxe view" if you aren't on the 9th floor, all lower floors have a giant builflding in your face!

The lobby and elevators were especially impressive — you can truly feel the history of the place. The location is excellent, and we were lucky to have a room with a beautiful view of Niagara Falls. On the downside, the room was a bit too small for our liking, and the breakfast was quite basic. Staff very friendly and helpfu! It would be great to see more variety and especially more vegetables offered in the morning. Overall, a lovely place to stay — we’d definitely come back!

Frankly, for the price one pays for the falls view room, I expected better service.

- Leyla (2/5): - The customer/guest service was awful. They had falsely accused me and my friends after we had barely been in the hotel room during our stay that we had scratched the tv. Now there was no before pictures taken as no one thought to take a picture of the tv as we were excited to be in the falls. They based it on a check list with no proper proof that it had not been damaged beforehand and as my friend had went up with a manager they went to look at the tv and couldn’t find the scratch until she called the boss and he went right up to where the scratch was and pointed at it which we found suspicious. Will not be staying here again and I suggest if your young adults looking for a place to stay do not stay here. Otherwise the hotel was easily accessible to anything so that was convenient otherwise would not recommend.

They don’t have valet service, and when you arrive it’s very confusing to figure out the entrance—especially if you’re coming from out of state or another country. You end up driving around in circles trying to find your way in. The whole setup feels disorganized, and for the cost, it definitely doesn’t deliver.
- Krista (6/5): Mixed review - The room was really clean. As some people have said the bedroom and bathroom were kind of small, but that was OK since the building so old. My issue was the AC. It did not keep the room very cool, which I had read on another website was a common issue with the hotel. You also had to pay quite a bit for parking, which I wasn’t expecting. Finally, the hallways with the rooms were very dim. However, the staff was lovely and it was a great location.
