My only complaint is that the breakfast foods were almost all gone when i got there, 15 minutes before it was supposed to close. I got a pancake, which was cold, so then I got oatmeal, but when I went to put brown sugar on it, there was none left. So, we had to got buy breakfast elsewhere.

Upon check-in our clerk was very friendly and offered a few options for dinner based on our taste, and we were very happy with the choice. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was very clean. Breakfast was standard hotel breakfast. It was good, and the clerk was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

Rooms smelled fresh upon entering. Windows were clean. Many selections for continental breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Great first time experience!!!

- Sue (10/5): - We've decided that we will be using Tru hotels again. What a great experience. It is a compact room, but we had everything we needed. The AC fan stayed on all night keeping the room comfortable. Everything was new, so that was a bonus to us.

- Steve (10/5): Nice, modern hotel that is well kept. - Nice and clean place. Nice Breakfast spread as well. We came with a Pet and had a very good experience as well. Only comment is to be prepared for a hefty Pet fee almost as much as 2/3 cost of room. The good thing is that it is a one time fee and not a nightly one.

- Sharon (10/5): - It was a bit tricky to get to the parking lot for the hotel. The Tru parking lot was accessed by driving through another hotel lot. Signage could help. Bed and room were comfortable. The motion sensor lights in the bathroom turned off while I was showering. Not a huge deal, but maybe a setting adjustment would help. Breakfast was the usual hotel type.

- Wanda (6/5): - I liked the check in. The front desk was able to find a room to check me in early. She coulfd of however forwarned me the room was going to be a little smaller then the one i was to get due to not having a kitchen. Also the cleaning staff entered the room when there are cats in the room on the 2nd day of our stay and frightened our cats so bad that one ran and got stuck in between the refrigerator and wall and was there till we arrived back in the early evening. I was so afraid he was gone at first but when i looked and found him in that tiny space i initially thought he was dead because he was not moving. When i got him out it took a while for him to start moving because he must have been wedged there for a while. Ive stayed in hotels and hiltons before and never had i had cleaning staff enter a hotel room when i had my cats in the room. I found it very odd and very very very alarming because my cats could have escaped or my one cat could have died had we not returned earlier than expected that day. I really would like for the property to be aware of this. I tried texting the property on the same day of this situation but noone texted back and i still had another day and a half left of my stay.

- Travis (10/5): Would definitely stay here again - We come to Holland a couple of times annually. Everything was almost brand new. Check-in was easy, and the rep on duty was very friendly. Room was modern and clean. I especially like when there is no carpet. Everything one might need in the bathroom/shower was provided. The free breakfast this morning was very good. Would definitely stay here again.

One thing that was annoying was all lights were on a motion detected on/off and if you stopped moving (like in the shower) the bathroom Lights went off.

- Daniel (6/5): - This was a new hotel, and it felt like it. I'm not sure if it was built new from the ground up or if it went through a massive renovation, but it felt very clean and modern. The TV in the room was superior to any hotel TV I had ever seen. The breakfast was pretty good for a cheap hotel, although I wish it had stayed open a bit later since I missed it on the first morning. On the downside, the mattresses felt cheap and uncomfortable. You could tell this is where they cut corners, and that might be the worst place to cut back. I've stayed in several affordable hotels that had MUCH better mattresses. So, yes, this hotel is modern, but it's not fancy. Clean and affordable.

You can certainly afford to pay what it takes to adequately staff the positions. Also, the laundry room is out of service despite having brand new machines. How is that even possible?
- Jan (8/5): Cute, scaled down Hilton with a Disney vibe! - Nice, cute room for one person! The soap and lotion dispensers in the bathroom are very difficult for my arthritic hands to use. Maybe provide an alternative option.
- Mary (10/5): Overall a great place to stay!! - Beautiful, clean, and comfortable room. Plentiful and delicious breakfast options. All front desk personnel were friendly & helpful. Every area of the hotel was lovely & well cared for. We will return!
- grace (8/5): - The staff was awesome. The room was very clean. The sheets were awful--some kind of terrible synthetic (polyester microfiber?) that makes you feel hot and sticky. Also, there were no cups in the room, so I had to take my pills by cupping my hands in the sink.
- Jeffrey (8/5): - Hotel was short-staffed due to employees with family emergencies. Hence one person was running the front desk and restocking the breakfast buffet in the morning. Coffee, eggs, and several other things were empty. Room was quiet at night despite the hotel being full. Ice machine was easy to use, and the laundry room was one of the nicest I've seen at a hotel.

We had to change rooms because the initial room wasn’t ready and it could have been cleaner overall. Employees were not aware of services in the hotel. While in the shower the lights in the bathroom would go out even though the shower was not excessively long. We would not book this hotel again.

I recommend the farmers market in Holland. Vibrant and fun. Big lake brewery had good food and a nice selection of beer. Their amber was so good we brought some home. Overall a good place to stay.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Great new gem - I love the vibe of this hotel, it’s like an IKEA showroom with this beautiful pop art mural of Holland, Mi. Rooms were efficient in size but very clean and the openness of the room felt cleaner, no dingy closet. Staff was wonderful, we had an issue with some of our plugs not working when we arrived but they fixed right away. Breakfast was plentiful with eggs, sausage and pancakes plus the usual. We will definitely stay here again.

- Ashley (6/5): - This hotel was apparently built this year (2025) and they are still working out the kinks. Things that won’t change are like others said, small room, little space for our belongings. We traveled with our young daughter so eating at a tiny desk was tough, we ended up eating in the lobby with takeout. I would not recommend this place for multiple nights as they do not clean the room. We had to leave our trash in the hallway and get our own towels, which is fine but I don’t remember other hotels being this way. Trivial but they have the tiniest trash cans with a split in the middle, it’s the same bag so I highly doubt they recycle as indicated. The QR code for info on the TV was not updated or informative. You could hear loud trucks very early in the morning. The pool allowed people staying there to look in as well as walk in from the parking lot. I found this uncomfortable. Breakfast was basic as expected but they need to clean the toaster. One day it’ll be all burning crumbs. The place was clean but just ok overall.
