- Carmel (8/5): - Room was very clean and hotel was close to the London Tube. Cleaning staff was very helpful. Self check-in would not accept the Reservation Number or scan my passport, but other options allowed access. Questions were responded to quickly via email.

- Kylie (8/5): - Great location!! The room was clean, 2 queen beds for a family of 4. The only disappointing thing, one morning the fire alarm went off and no one came to our rescue, the fire department didnt even turn up! We had to call the hotel and get instructions on how to tirn off the alarm!
- David (10/5): - Recently renovated so it has clean modern rooms. The walls are a bit thin and there was an issue with the check in machine but everything else was good.
- Kitty (2/5): - Absolutely foul owners, do not stay here. Checked me into a room that was disgustingly and uncleaned from the previous people. The next morning as I’m getting changed two people enter my room! The owners are liars and tried to make out it was my fault this all happened? Do not stay here it will be a waste of your money.
- S N L (10/5): - Clean room and decent size for two. Everything seem new and the bathroom was good. Can do with a hand towel and a better hand soap dispenser as it was temperamental. There was some finishing touches required tiles with little grout. Plenty of sockets and lightening and working air con unit. Comfortable bed and fresh linden and towels. Great location to all we needed.

- Marcos (10/5): - Important for me to communicate that this hotel is great and has been renovated! Everything is brand new and stay couldn’t have been easier to navigate. Room was comfortable and stylish. Would easily stay here again!
- Lia (8/5): - Me and my boyfriend stayed here to celebrate our anniversary. It is a great building while rooms are small it still has everything needed shampoo and body wash, an ironing board and a mini fridge and so on. It is also fairly close to sightseeing attractions and made it super convenient for us to walk everywhere. There is no staff on sight besides the housekeeper which did unfortunately walk into our room an hour after we had checked in. This did make us slightly uncomfortable however, it did not ruin our stay. Thank you upper Berkeley hotel we had a lovely stay.
- Gabriela (8/5): - Noticed a few bugs on the bathroom’s ceiling and it was humid during the night :( but other than that, it was very good! Loved the neighborhood. Appreciated the tea and the kettle :) Might stay again in a bigger one.

- Susan (6/5): - The room is tiny; truly only one person and obvious property was newly refurbished. That being said, I had a ton of tiny black flying insects in my room (gnats?). Not an infestation but more annoying. Also the windows were still taped shut from the panting.

- RENATA (8/5): Excelente localização, com escadas e sem humanos - Desvantagem: 1. escadas. O quarto que reservei ficava no terceiro andar, seis lances de escada bem estreita e degraus que não cabem o pé, perigoso de escorregar, fica um pouco mais seguro por causa do carpete. 2. A janela estava emperrada e não fechava. Pedi para consertar, prometeram ir mas esqueceram. 3. Não tem recepção com seres humanos e usam cartão de hotel. Ele desmagnetiza e vc tem que ligar e esperar alguém ir até o prédio fazer um novo cartão paga você. Tivemos problema com o cartão de entrar no quarto duas vezes, a primeira pq ele foi liberado para um dia e ficaríamos 7, a segunda pq desmagnetizou. Vantagens: 1. Recém reformado, tudo limpo e novo (embora achei engraçado que o piso é torto, tem 10° e inclinação da janela para o banheiro. 2. Localização impecável, ao lado de cafés, restaurantes, mercados e transporte.

- TOMOKO (6/5): - I booked this hotel because of tube strike and it was close to my work. My room was No4 and it was next to the door between upstairs and basement so there was noise whenever people passed by. It was ok for one night stay.

- Craig (10/5): Modern Hotel in an excellent location - Very friendly hotel employee helped me use the check in screen. Info sent by the hotel omitted to say that on the check in screen it will accept your surname to retrieve the booking rather than using (searching for) the booking ref. My room (number 9 on the 1st floor) was very modern. Comfy bed. Great shower. USB A and USB C charge points in the bedside sockets. 2 good sized mugs for a brew Located 2 mins from Marble Arch tube station. Various eateries and watering holes with 200 yards. Recommended.
- Yinghong (2/5): - I was given a basement room, even though I booked a room based on pictures that showed two windows. The hotel refused to change my room to one above ground, so I had to move out after staying for one night. Additionally, the hotel declined to refund my payment.
- Toral (6/5): Great staff , TINY rooms - Great staff (key card machine was a little finicky) and amazing location (5 minutes walk from Marble Arch tube). Clean room with a mini-fridge , rainfall shower and great lighting. Double bed just barely fit. BUT the room was tiny - like a dorm room from college. And you can hear every sound - I heard my neighbour’s WhatsApp notifications like they were from my own phone. Steeet noise was constant but not unbearable.

- Stacey (10/5): - We had a lovely stay at the hotel, the staff went out their way to correct any problems and even upgraded to a bigger room. Hotel is clean and smells fresh, easy access in and out the building using the code and room Kay feeling safe. It was only 7 minute walk to Oxford street and to Hyde park with lots of transportation if it was needed. Over all great customer service and lovely hotel and we will be staying again on the near future.
- Bjørn (10/5): Mint condition - Brand new furnishing. Everything is in mint condition. Excellent location. Only slightly weird is no cleaning of the room during our 2 nights stay. Not a big issue but just a bit unexpected. Checkin is done on a screen where you type your name and scan your id.

- Daniel (6/5): - As an American I thought the room was small, bathroom was supers small. But I understand the difference, fine. Place is clean, newly redone. Front door is a keypad I had problems with it all week. O reception or people that speak English on site. Having laundry room on site is nice. Overall if you don’t mind the above mentioned issues, it would be a great alternative.

- Emily (10/5): Lovely little hotel in central London. - We absolutely loved our stay here, the rooms were so comfy and cosy. The location was great. Everything felt brand new, including the TV which had every streaming app possible for you to sign in to. There were lots of plug sockets, a safe, ample clothes storage, an AC unit, and we could also open the windows to get fresh air into the room. There's also a mini fridge. The only thing I would change is the amenities, we stayed in a room for 3 people and only had one mug. That's a very minor criticism as we really loved our weekend here! Definitely a bargain for the lovely room and location, and will stay here again.

- FIRAT (2/5): - Considering it was so hot ac was not working i arrived late because we had a flight delay on top no ac called someto help they cam ac stated working but afterwards ac started smell like buring plastic so i closed it quickly so thay fire will not start so i tried to open window which was locked couldn't open it so i had a horrible sleep i had to leave the room very early so i. Can have fresh air and asked to check out little late but that was refused to .bad experience.

- Amanda (8/5): A good value hotel - automated check in - This hotel is so convenient for my work base and it’s fairly priced. Rooms are small and basically furnished but clean and fresh with everything needed. I’ve yet to see the City view my booking mentions! Each booking has been in a semi basement room and this makes it a bit noisy as below entrance with lots of coming and goings

- Kahai (8/5): Very nice hotel, but is a self check-in - We loved that the rooms were recently renovated with more modern furnishings. The room and bathroom is much larger than most European hotel rooms and that it has AC. What we did not like: We booked a "hotel" because we needed a place to hold our luggage before the usual 3p check-in time. After booking it, we received the welcome letter that states that this is a self check-in and they are unable to hold luggage. Fortunately, there's a "Stasher" located a few steps down the road in another hotel that we were able to pay to hold our luggage until check-in. When 3p came around, I still had not received an email giving me the code to get through the front door. I messaged the property, but never received a response. I had to call the property (using international calling rates) where they were able to get someone to the property to meet me and help me check-in.

- JOSE (8/5): - Does not have a lift. If you are staying in one of the upper level rooms have in mind that you and your luggage have to go uo the very narrow stairs. Rooms are very nice and clean. Location is great

Bathroom tiny with just toilet and small shower. Bed very comfy, but pillows very flat. Had to buy another pillow for 2nd night as no reception to ask Would not put people off staying here. Great location and good value for money.
- Nicola (6/5): Shiny and new but with a few flaws. - Hotel less than 2 months old when we arrived & we had trouble getting in. Press doorbell to the right, there was no bell. Fought with the door before someone let us in. I hadn't received the check in email so wasn't aware to bring a passport. Supposed to be self check in but doesn't work without passport. BE WARNED. My driving license was then used to verify me and a photo of it put in a Whatsapp group. I was NOT happy about this. It could still be in there for all I know. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were thin and cheap. AC worked well. Fridge was a nice touch but we didn't use it. Carpets on the stairs but not outside the rooms, or in the rooms, so we heard everything amplified from other rooms and when people left their rooms. It was often loud. £300+ for two nights, and I remember paying the additional £20 for a king size bed but we were only given a double. Note on the wall told us to take our own rubbish out and where to put it. I didn't pay good money to take my own rubbish out. Overall the hotel is nice, the decor is bright and colourful and it's shiny as it's new. The location is good, at the end of Marble Arch, about a 30 minute walk from Theatreland if you're there for shows. The man that helped manually check us in on his computer was nice but I don't know what we would have done if he wasn't there, and I'm still not happy that my details could still be in a Whatsapp group somewhere. Would I stay again, no, it's a little far out, recommend it, yes.

Extremely convenient location just a few minutes walk to Oxford Street shopping and transport. Excellent blockout curtains. No lift or reception, but the lovely rooms and location make up for that.

Should have been a lot cheaper than we paid. TV still had stickers on and had to update the apps to use it Bed was great shower air con was great and

- Mandy (6/5): No one answered my email - Brand new room and en-suite. So new that the smell of paint was overwhelmingly unpleasant and strong in my room. I did send an email to reception as there is not a physical reception. Someone answered and asked for my reservation number then nothing. I had to sleep with window wide open which was really noisy as room below street level. Booking said city view which was a stretch as room looked out onto steps below street. Only one very flat pillow on bed made for an uncomfortable night Room was clean and everything needed there

- Nancy (10/5): Very Nice Hotel - The hotel looks as if it has been completely renovated. It was very nice inside and comfortable for our trip. It was also an easy walk to the Marble Arch station which took us everywhere we wanted to go. It was a nice, quiet location. Very clean!
- Verified traveler (4/5): Over priced nobody's there - Check in was with a box in the hall which asked for ID and had some intrusive questions. Box couldn't produce a key card. Had to ring a couple of numbers and eventually got through and the person said theres a key in the check out box. So secure? Really noisy room with pub opposite and lots of cars all night. No double glazing and strange lighting. Other residents were really noisy too. Made some coffee but thrre was no milk or creamer supplied
- Claude (4/5): - Die Unterkunft ist gut gelegen, aber die Zommer sind klein und im Kellergeschoss wo Zimmer vermietet werden sind den ganzen Tag über Arbeiten, die einen Aufenthalt tagsüber im Zimmer aufgrund des Lärmes unmöglich machen.
