• theresa (8/5): - The place was okay for an overnight stay. The price was affordable. I put 3 stars because i used the kiosk, no staff interaction. Not a bad thing, kiosk wa quick and easy. The room was good except our sink, both in and out of the bathroom were clogged. My overall? Im happy with my stay.
• Fred (2/5): - In our first room the AC didn’t work or the bathroom faucet. Next day they moved us to the upgraded tower at my expense $30. We got there and didn’t realize to early morning that the shower didn’t drain at all. After that I was done.

• Denese (6/5): - The Rio is improving greatly. We stayed in the Masquerade Tower which is a shell of what it once was in the 2000’s. They NEED to do the remodel planned for that wing or tear it down and downsize! Just a suggestion: bring back the show in the sky. It’s what attracted people to the place because it was just fun! The rest of the property is very well done with the refit! You can tell the original owner has a part to the revival. The investment in the refurbishment will bring us back again if it is completed. And, you had a goldmine in the Voodoo Lounge. Fire that scene back up. Nothing was better than a drink on the lounge! Market it. You are headed the right direction. Pools were awesome. Guy’s restaurant was great but under staffed at the bar.

• George (10/5): - I had reservations for five rooms in the older Masquerade tower for my family and fellow tournament bowlers and three of the rooms were ready at check in time. The rooms were large and clean and everyone was satisfied. Both of the rooms that were not ready were upgraded for free. One was in the new remodeled Ipenema tower room and the other was a masquerade 1 bedroom deluxe bathroom suite. We all enjoyed the rooms and had a great 4 day trip to Rio. Would definitely do it again. Rented daybeds at the pool and spent several wonderful hours being taken care of by our server Vivian. She went above and beyond making sure we had everything we wanted. Really appreciated the non-smoking areas and we all played the slots and ETGs but didn't try the poker ot live tables. Bars and restaurants were good but not all of them were open on Mon and Tue. All in all, it was a good Vegas trip with no concerns or issues.

There are lots of gambling machines and lots of food options. Our only downfall was the room was old, it didn’t have a coffee maker or microwave but it had a small fridge.

It’s conveniently off the strip, always clean, many gambling options as well as entertainment. Rooms are always clean, comfortable and spacious. The only downfall to our stay was the pool being closed all day, after a brief sprinkle of rain early in the day. We chose this resort because of the awesome pool area and were a little disappointed we couldn’t enjoy it on our last day.

The room had leak stains on the ceiling, no coffee maker, the safe didn't work, no wash cloths, room service sucked. All you get is animated Rita and our requests never got filled. Got to the room (which was supposed to be renovated) it was not and not clean, we called room service, they finally came to change the sheets on the beds which were not made when we first got to our room, the TV never worked, nor did anyone come to fix it - we did let them know although they did not show up. Our room was not cleaned the whole time we were there. I did speak to a manager to change rooms, and he was no help at all. Did not even offer anything for our inconvenience! This is the worst stay I have ever had. We will not go back to this hotel. Staff/Cleanliness/Responsiveness/Overall stay was unfortunately terrible.

I love getting a view that looks out at the dessert and mountains. The Rio is very quiet with many good facilities. I would like the hotels to give a bit of discount on resort fees if you are with the hotel less than 12 hours.

The self check-in was confusing as the check-in kiosk at the Masquerade Tower was not working or available. Only good thing was the parking is free.

• Joseph (8/5): - Some of the time, I had the do not disturb sign on the door but the rest of the time I didn’t and never had cleaners come. It was fine but a little disappointing. I like the look of the hotel, inside and out, but the general area around it was a little ugly and very inconvenient for walking. Had a decent amount of restaurants nearby though which is nice. The biggest issue I ran into was my key cards not working. I had to print out the maximum amount of them and all of them stopped working so the front desk helped me get new ones Overall, it was a really nice experience. Would’ve loved to go to some of the shows but they were too expensive. Would stay again

• Angela (4/5): Stay away if your lungs can’t handle smoke. - The hotel check in process was ok but for some reason the kiosk wasn’t working. I had the unfortunate luck of having to wait in the customer service line and the casino guests who were smoking in the casino smoked enough cigarettes that I was choking in like trying to breath. Eyes watering, constant coughing like I had asthma and I don’t and when I got to my room the same thing happened when I turned the air on. Room was also spacious but outdated.

The only couple things I had issues with was the Elevator and The “Hash a gogo “ restaurant. 1. We luckily stayed on the 13th floor. Because when we got into full of people elevator and it went down…Floor by Floor !! It was the craziest thing!! There were so many people waiting for elevators on every floor. Thank god there wasn’t an emergency !! 2. We went to the “hash a gogo “ restaurant for breakfast at 9:45am …Literally 1/2 the restaurant had Empty Tables and it was just 2 of us, they told us we didn’t have reservations and it would be 45 - 1Hr wait before we where seated !! The only other restaurant open at that hour was the Chinese Dim Sum restaurant ! The Little Mexican Cafe near the hash a gogo , had Horrible Service and an extremely limited menu!!
