Guest Reviews
- Jerri (6/5): - No early check in no luggage storage and no lobby to wait till check in so I spent 3 hours hanging out at the airport before heading to hotel. It was fine for an inexpensive overnight stay near the cruise terminal. Ordered dinner via Uber eats as I wasn't comfortable walking alone in the area. Guess there is a reason the desk clerks are locked behind bulletproof barrier.
- krista (6/5): - The room is not sound proof and so loud with noise from the hallway. It was hard to communicate with the front desk clerk. For the area we were in, it was fairly clean. The floors were sticky from their cleaner.
- Kadiya (8/5): - Clean room
- Walt (8/5): - I did not use the A/C but the breakfast was fresh and there was a good selection.
- Geoffrey (10/5): - If you're looking to explore Brooklyn as a borough, this could be budget friendly option for you. The hotel is brand new, but lacks laundry and has some unsightly workmanship in the construction. Nothing major, just cosmetic. This is a safer working class neighborhood with a 24hr laundry, the Prospect Park Q & B station and a well stocked Western Beef Supermarket nearby. The free breakfast provided is your basic continental variety, but could use more protien options besides yogurt. The AC and in-room fridge stayed cold & there was plenty of hot water in the shower.
- C G (4/5): Poor value for money - Rooms curtains too small so light came into the room.
Breakfast room next door so noisy from staff setting up early and people going for breakfast.
Not healthy options other than a banana or apple.
- Susan (4/5): - Internet fast enough. Air conditioning was comfortable. Room was not clean. Shower drain filthy. No way to make res with front desk. They send you to 3rd party. Breakfast fare okay, but space way too small. Sticky floors indicate negligence. Front desk staff hard to understand. Convenient location but price too high!
- Ebertina (10/5): - I love everything about this place
- Moreen (8/5): - The room was nice put some extra lights in the rooms on the nightstand and the desk
- Melissa (8/5): - Overall it was a good stay but the parking situation is terrible. Street parking only and its limited so good luck. Other than that staff was great and the free breakfast was not bad.
- Robin (10/5): - Yes everything was fine
- Norman (10/5): Satisfied Customer - Room climate was good, wifi was good
- Corinthia (10/5): - Exactly what I needed
- Kecia (4/5): - For $500 a night this hotel was sore basic. No section in the shower for toiletries. Not all people use hotel soaps. It was very small. For that price my view was a graffiti’ed brick wall. Closet space small. When I returned to the hotel after the event I went to I rode around for 40+ mins to find parking. HORRID! Too expensive to not have parking for hour paying guests.
- Edna (10/5): - In general the hotel was clean they changed towels ever day, only don't washed the toilet and shower.
- sandro (4/5): - Not
- Patricia (2/5): - Bulletproof glass separating reception desk from bare reception area, floors felt dirty, no bedside lamps...
- Monique (10/5): - Nice
- Cory (8/5): - N/a
- Charlene (2/5): - Expedia said price was 167 a night plus tax but when I checked in they said it was 500 w tax. I cancelled immediately and did not pay and will not pay. That is deceptive. They said the rate wasn’t the one on booking but at the time of check in.
- Ellen E (10/5): - Internet was fine, AC cooled the room. Bed and pillows were comfortable and bathroom well designed minus the shower doors that refused to stay closed. Corners of room were not cleaned very thoroughly.
- John (4/5): - You truly get what you pay for. The property suffers from a poor build-out and lack of attention to detail. Upon check-in, I was given a key without a room number, forcing me to haul all my belongings back to the desk for clarification. The room itself was disappointing: no proper pillows, only small decorative squares you would expect on a sofa. Shampoo was completely empty, leaving me to use body wash for my hair. Noise levels were high—I could hear the elevator, footsteps, and conversations throughout the night. Finally, the front desk is separated from guests by a floor-to-ceiling wall of bulletproof glass, which hardly creates a welcoming environment.
- Max (6/5): - Super basic
- Samantha (10/5): - It’s so obvious that this place is brand new because everything looked clean and new. Loved the towel, loved the bed sheets no stain, loved the view outside our window. Only cons is no microwave for left over food and when ur in the hallway you can hear people in their room so it’s not that sound proof. But all un all loved this place.
- Denis (10/5): - Nice, new hotel
- Stephen (10/5): - Very small but very clean. Good service. Hotels in NYC are expensive but here you at least get the essential stuff. For me it was great location. I walked to a lot of amazing food - and also felt like I got to experience a little bit of Caribbean Crown Heights culture despite obvious gentrification.
- Nyla (10/5): - The property is a short walk to Crown Heights.
- Keno (8/5): - Clean and friendly staff, easy access to amenities
- Loretta (2/5): - The noise from the lobby/front desk area was outrages. It was an echo chamber on the 1st floor during the whole night for all residents on the floor. It appears people stop in and chat with the night clerk and it's a gathering place for the neighborhood. I believe it the well into the morning hours.
- Annis (10/5): - Clean room, nice breakfast, close walk to transportation bus and train.
- Amy (8/5): - Stay was fine. 12-15 walk to closest subway. Breakfast had coffee , yogurt, waffles and sandwiches. I just had coffee as dining room was not pleasant. Shower was hot and clean. Bed was comfortable Air con was loud but functional. No clisets. Fridge was fine. TV sucked. Cheapest and cleanest lodging I found so I guess it was worth it.
- Ashley (8/5): - The place is not bad for a short stay. The free breakfast is decent. I would stay again. Stay is friendly. PARKING IS TERRIBLE!
- Lessie (6/5): - There was no parking, horrible
- Stephanie (10/5): - Check in was quick and pleasant.
- Nioka (10/5): - Great
- Elias (6/5): - The elevator were not working and I was on the 5th floor
- Dan (6/5): Too $ at half the price - >$600 is a ridiculous price for this bare-bones room, but my fault for unknowingly booking it during West Indian Parade weekend. Still, even at it's usual $230-270, it is NOT a good value. Brooklyn lodging has gotten to be more problematic than Manhattan. At least Manhattan has more options.
- Donna (8/5): - They need to have a parking lot for us to park
- Claudy (8/5): - .
- Connie (6/5): - It was okay
- Kathleen (2/5): - This hotel is not good at all . Bad area no parking.
- Ashley (6/5): - It was too small
- Javon (10/5): - Hotel over all was very very nice!!! Staff amazing !! The bathrooms and breakfast ✨️. Air quality 👌.
Tv seemed to be signed into the network but wasnt able log into prime, youtbe, etc. I was there for the holiday so wasnt press.
- Johnnie (4/5): - Smelly, rooms are small with no carpet on the floor.
- Kim (10/5): - Very easy booking, pristine and comfortable room in new-looking condition, quiet and reasonably priced.
- Sonja (8/5): - Comfy beds and impeccably clean room. This is a new hotel, and rate was so reasonable, just needed a place to stay when visiting our kids in Brooklyn and this was perfect. Parking was a little tough but found a spot a few blocks away. Other reviews complain about doors slamming but I think because there is no carpeting in the whole place it just seems louder.
- Jason (8/5): - Great stay. They use a bit too much cleaning product. My nose burned for half the night from the chemical smell.
- Alec (2/5): - Front desk staff was rude. Was told we could have late checkout at 12 , called us at 11:45 and told us to leave as it was “12” (it was 11:45) and when we corrected him he gave us a very big attitude. we had a roach crawling on our bathroom sink and when we told the front desk he told us he “didn’t know what a roach was”. hair was stuck in our shower drain, towels were dirty, bed was nasty, whole room and hallway stunk of weed, people banging doors all nighter
- Mark (4/5): - Not clean and surroundings feels unsafe
- Wayne (10/5): New - The place is brand new
- Julio (10/5): - Though the immediate area surrounding the hotel is a little industrial (storage facilities and other warehouses), if you walk a little farther, you can easily access Prospect Park and all the wonderful restaurants and quiet streets nearby. The hotel itself seems relatively new and is exceptionally clean. Staff were more than accommodating; they were really kind to upgrade me to a king-sized bed, which I was grateful for.
- Michael (8/5): - It’s new and sparkling with very good staffing. On the other hand the neighborhood is a bit sketchy, and the electronics in the room could be much better. So could “breakfast.”
- Susanna (10/5): - Even the air conditioning works amazing!!
- Miles (4/5): - Parking was a little difficult, I had cleaned down surfaces with surface cleaner and a paper towel, all of which were very dirty, wiped off bathroom floor and the rag was black. Hallway is very noisy, and people slam doors.
- Sarah (4/5): - There’s a really heavy cleaning chemical smell in whole hotel including the room which is very unsettling. The front desk is behind a glass barricade which gives the hotel a pretty seedy feel. The floors are a nasty looking tile and the mattresses are placed on metal cots which move on the smooth floor. The people who built this place clearly went with the cheapest possible option for every facet of the building. Just unpleasant.
- claver (8/5): - It's located in the neighborhood I want to be. Kinda boarders Crown Heights in Brooklyn.
- Jessicas (2/5): - Place is full of sex workers . Guest fights and loud noices
- Norman (10/5): Ramada experience - Very comfortable,great sevice
Geat houusekeeping staff
- Breanna (2/5): - on my second day of stay, my friend reach the hotel around 10:30pm, took a shower and head out to get some food. When she got back around 11pm the key to the door didn't work. She went downstairs and the front desk guy gave her another key, that she didn't work.He attempted to get the door open, by 3am in the morning i was upset because i still could not get in the room with my stuff. He put us in another room after 4 1/2 hours of trying and asking him if he can do something us for us.It was very upsetting, i was tired sleepy and was on my woman month.it was not fair that i paid for 3 nights and only got 2 and was treated very nasty. do not come with here!!
- Ernesto (6/5): - Todo muy bien, pero no hay parqueo habilitado, ocasionándome dos multas y en adición dentro del hotel “No Smoking” en el 5to nivel a casi todas horas un mal olor a Mariguana
- dan (6/5): - The entire building reeked of industrial cleaner that was still in my clothes when I got home.
The motel was thrown together quickly with shoddy workmanship. Many tile and grout spatters leaving an unfinished appearance. The tile floors in the hallways and rooms made it the noisiest property when inconsiderate guest yell and scream. The front desk worker did not speak English and was not helpful. This appears to be a rush job to house migrants for profit.
- Willoughby (10/5): - The property was in a business area but easy to find. Parking was on street and my car was not bothered. The property was efficient, not flashy but the attendant was professional. The room was perfect for my overnight stay. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was small but has all the amenities that were needed it was equipped with all the device chargers necessary. The only issue is that I had to turn of the light before getting in bed. This is the perfect room for an overnight stay.
- Rhonda (8/5): - The dining room was very small and crowded. Just picked up coffee
- Tyana (8/5): - My stay was quite pleasant. I would definitely stay there again.
- Latisha (8/5): - My 9 night stay at this hotel was great, and priced right! It provided all that I needed. Great location close to my family in Flatbush, modern nice size room, spacious bathroom w/ shower and glass doors, comfortable King bed, Free Wifi, breakfast, daily room service and quiet hotel. I felt safe, there are cameras everywhere. The staff was very nice, and accommodating, on two occasions the annoying smell of weed smoke had entered my room. I'm allergic so I complained, and staff promptly addressed the issue. I appreciated that! Note: There is a $250 fine for smoking in the room.
My only critiques would be the following, Shower pressure could be stronger, wish TV was smart TV w/ Netflix or Prime login option or device streaming option. Cleaning ladies should remember to sweep behind hotel door. Tile in bathroom although nice, craftsmanship is not the best. Overall good hotel, very comfortable stay, and great value. I highly recommend!
- Carlton (10/5): - Wonderful
- Lisa (8/5): - They did not have the parking lot ready as advertised. The room was great and staff was friendly. We missed breakfast because it ends at 0930 but other than that we would stay there again when the parking lot is ready.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The stay was OK. There was only 1 microwave in the pantry area that was too small for the amount of guests at the hotel. More microwaves need to be added in that area for the guest as there’s none in the rooms.
- Holly (10/5): - It’s just perfect for me in the meantime.
- Cullen (6/5): - I knew this was a shady location when the check in staff was behind bulletproof glass talking to you through a speaker. No lobby at all and charged extra to check in early with no way to hold your bags until check in so you could explore early.
Won’t stay here again.
- Mercedes (10/5): - Brand new building, very nicely decorated. Breakfast was good! Can't wait until they get a parking lot. Love all the marble floors and walls! Nice visit! I will be back!
- Pythagore (10/5): - Great
- Neville (6/5): - Great
- Matthew (10/5): - Check in was very easy & everything seemed fairly new. No issues at all.
- Neville (6/5): - Great
- Lauren (2/5): DO NOT STAY HERE -
Upon entering my room, I was immediately overwhelmed by a strong chemical cleaning product odor. This smell was so potent that within an hour, it caused me to feel dizzy and lightheaded. I contacted the front desk to request a different room, but I was informed that all rooms had the same odor and was advised to turn on the air conditioner to alleviate it. Unfortunately, this did not help at all, and I ultimately had to leave the hotel and find a new hotel.
In addition, I found the shower to be filthy upon my arrival (hairs on the floor). They did clean it immediately after I informed them. The room only had an overhead fluorescent light and no bedside lighting. The hotel was also very noisy, and I could hear everything through the walls and doors.
Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to stay.
- Susan (8/5): Lovely stay - Clean, comfortable and convenient to where I needed to be.
- clifford (10/5): - 20 min walk to Brooklyn Gardens. 20 min walk to Prospect Park Subway Station. Wonderful supermarket "Western Beef" across Empire Bvd. Other walkable fast food nearby. In room refrigerator, no in room microwave. 30 min subway rides to Coney Island and Lower Manhattan. Subway connections all the way from JFK to Prospect Park Subway Station.
- Saroya (10/5): - There isn’t any parking on property. Only street parking with alternate side parking rules.
Free Breakfast is from 6:30-9:30 am everyday.
- Steven (6/5): - The staff appeared to be behind bulletproof glass and was not really friendly or helpful. The area seems very unsafe. The actual building seems new and the room was very nice but the staff and surroundings are the issue. This one is checked off my list.
- Amy (6/5): - The hotel was clean. The breakfast was good.We arrived late at night after canceled flights. When the Uber pulled up, the hotel was in an area where there were not other hotels. In front of the hotel were a group of men smoking. The lobby was not welcoming. The check j. Was behind a plexiglass encrusted counter where I had to slip the person my ID and credit card. Instead of a Wyndham,it reminded me of a movie. Not the typical hotel to take a family to. Inthe middle of the night the person next door loudly received a guest.Having stayed in hotels in the city with a welcoming lobby and staff. This property was a bit scary.
- Sonia (6/5): - The floors were dirty
People on our floor were loud
It was still under construction
Only one working elevator
No healthy food options
- barbara (6/5): - LOCATION IS GOOD, CHECK IN WAS FAST AND EASY,CLEAN AND DECENT BREAKFAST.
NO SEATING IN LOBBY, NO COMPUTER ROOM, NO GYM, NO HANDLE BAR IN SHOWER.ROOM SMALL WITH ONLY 1 CHAIR AT TABLE.
- jim (8/5): - good location, fairly close to public trans. friendly enough staff. quiet.
- Carmen (10/5): - Loved how clean it was and how quiet it was unfortunately, there are not a lot of options for meals in the area that are not fast food
- Kimberly (10/5): - Good stay
- Tena (10/5): - Parking was a bit challenging, but still a great place to stay
- Samaria (8/5): - They were accommodating.
- shantee (8/5): - It was very clean didn't have much interactions with the staff ..this hotel is new hopefully they can.keep it that way.. rooms was small but clean an modern i would most definitely would stay again...
- Tia (4/5): - Upon arrival to my room when I was getting ready for bed, I found long black strands of hair in my bed under the covers. My towels were not clean in my room needed to be re-cleaned.
- Nathaniel (6/5): - There are no seats in the reception area. I arrive and have to stand for 20 mins to get checked in. The room is basic, clean. That’s it’s
- Kelee (8/5): - nice hotel. fairly new
- Herns Dimitry (10/5): - Good
- claver (10/5): - Location near family and friends. And it's only 2 months old. Hopefully they keep up with property.
- Kathryn (8/5): New hotel working out details. - This is a new hotel in a part of Brooklyn that is being developed. The room was big and clean but lacked lamps. There was not a desk lamp or beside lamps so lighting was not good. Bathroom was very nice with walk in shower. Breakfast room is very small but fine. Staff seemed inexperienced. I was given the key to an occupied room at first and I still have not gotten my security deposit back. please advise?
- Yuliia (10/5): Great please - We stayed as a family of four with kids at Ramada in Brooklyn and had a great experience. The hotel is small but cozy, with a warm, home-like atmosphere. Everything was well organized, the staff was friendly, and our room was always clean.
The only thing we missed a little was more space in the breakfast area — during busy hours it could get a bit crowded, and people sometimes bumped into each other. But overall, everything felt welcoming and comfortable. A great place for a family stay in New York!
- Randall (8/5): - Convenient
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Staff was great and facilities super clean and new. An ironing board and coffee maker were welcome. Lots of security at check in was both reassuring and a bit of a warning. We had a great stay.
- Ida (10/5): Great stay - This was a good place to stay room was small
- Daisy (10/5): - I have reviewed over and over again. since staying there many nights
