• Angela (8/5): Just the facts... - I just want to cover all the pros and cons so people will be able to make a good decision for themselves. Great location- near water and city center, food, shopping. No parking so you have to park at city parking garages. There are 2 close by , Kloster (4 min) and City Park (6 min). It is about $28 a day. In lobby print door cards. Its nice to have with your phone key. Easier to use on front door and going up in elevator. Room is very clean and modern. Has everything you need, but very small. For 2 people, there is nowhere to put luggage and one 10" to hang anything. Bed is comfortable but wedged in a corner. The top mattress shifts a little. Because there is only a small lip from bath floor to shower area. Water tends to get all over floor. We would stay here again because of the location, cleanliness, and room amenities.
• Massimiliano (8/5): - La camera è molto pulita e arredata bene in stile moderno. I letti, compreso il divano- letto, sono comodi. Forse i cuscini non sono il massimo. Il prezzo della struttura è in linea con i prezzi norvegesi. C'è una piccola e comoda cucina che aiuta quando c'e' la necessità di farsi una buona pasta italiana(anche per evitare i pessimi ristoranti con i loro prezzi altissimi). La pasta italiana, a proposito, si può comprare sono al supermarket sotto il centro commerciale del centro . Evitare le altre marche. La struttura si trova vicino al centro ma non è c'e' il rumore del traffico o dei locali . La palestra è ben fornita. La tv ha solo canali norvegesi. La wifii è veloce. Le comunicazioni con la struttura sono affisse abbastanza intuibili. Quando si esce ci chiedono di portare fuori la spazzatura (mediante chiavetta elettronica) e pulire la cucina : giusto cosi in un paese civile come la Norvegia (cit. Zalone)

• Rita (8/5): - I liked the fact that it had a kitchen with things you need in one. I did not like the check in or the garbage disposal after being charged for a cleaning fee. Otherwise, I liked the property.
• Karol (8/5): - I loved that it was quiet and clean and had a kitchenette with everything you needed to make small meals or have breakfast and lunch at home with groceries which are within walking distance about two blocks. The entry system is a little confusing and it would be nice if there were more directions on using convection stove tops and ovens for those of us who've never done that. It would be nice if they had some grocery stores and other local businesses that were close so that when you got in you could easily find them. I felt really at home in my room and everything was very comfortable. The staff we did encounter we're very friendly and kind.
• Imre (10/5): Well-designed studio at a perfect location - Brand new studio with all you need for a few days’ stay. Very nicely designed and comfortable. Only a few minutes walk from the city centre, supermarket, coffee shops. The only minus point is that the Vander app for checkin and digital key did not work for me. I never received the confirmation sms. In any case you can also check in at the self service checkin kiosk on the ground floor, and you can get your keycards from there.
• Mandy (10/5): - Das Apartment war super schön eingerichtet, alles noch sehr neu. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Lage war top. Kurzer Weg zu den ganzen Sehenswürdigkeiten und trotzdem sehr ruhig gelegen. Ein Lebensmittelgeschäft war auch direkt in der Nähe. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden das Apartment immer wieder buchen.
• Cynthia (8/5): - The rooms were very nice but there was no shelving for toiletries in the bathroom. There was no explanation on how to use the stove which ended up being a constant frustration but with good humor we worked through it. I do want to address the staff. We were outside and a woman was trying to put her trash in the outside cans. A staff member was taking a break, she looked over and instead of getting up off the ground to assist the lady, she barked out why she could not get her trash in the can. It was quite abrupt which could be her personality but in customer care is this what you want to represent your business? Overall, the things I mentioned are small in the longrun. They were little annoyances but it didn't take away from the overall stay. The location is convenient and well situated for a stay in a beautiful city with much to experience and see.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Fin liten lägenhet m bra läge - Fin liten lgh i bra skick. Väldigt krånglig digital incheckning. Dålig ventilation så vi hade 27 grader varmt i rummet på natten, vilket var mindre trevligt.

• Jorgen (4/5): Tilbakemelding - Ingen puter ved ankomst i sovesofa. Ekstremt varmt på rommet om natten 26,5 grader. For få håndklær til 5 personer. Fant håndklær i kjelleren. Først og fremst air tempratur ikke bra.
• Clara Johanne (10/5): - Rigtig god placering, alt var helt nyt og i rigtig god stand. Og fint udstyret køkken. Virkelig et godt sted. Eneste minus er, at der kun bliver gjort rent på værelset én gang om ugen (og kun ved ophold længere end 10 dage), så jeg kunne godt have savnet muligheden for selv at feje eller støvsuge. Håndklæder vaskede vi selv, der var fine vaskefaciliteter i kælderen. Der udover besøgte vi Bergen i en usædvanlig varm uge (25-28 grader) og havde det derfor meget varmt på værelset, da der ikke rigtig var aircondition (jeg tænker ikke det er nødvendigt 99% af tiden).
• Marte Idland (10/5): Takk for et fint opphold - Kjempefint og sentralt. Noe hard sofa og seng, ellers god komfort. Nyoppusset og fint. Luktet rart (søppel?) i 1. etg, usikker på hva det kommer av. Men generelt et veldig fint opphold og kan anbefales. Noe dyrt ift. vanlig hotell hvor man også får hotellfrokost, men hvis man skal lage alle måltid «hjemme», kan det lønne seg med leilighetshotell.
• Lauren (6/5): - Over all our stay was amazing. The heat in the room was crazy. We were on the 4th floor the windows didn’t open more then maybe 2-3inches and me and my partner had sweated so bad we woke up drenched.

Mas deu tudo certo, o aplicativo funcionou bem e a cobrança foi correta. Quarto espaçoso e confortável. Super bem localizado.

• John (6/5): - Overall, my experience with Vander Altona after obtaining my keys was great. The room was excellent for the price. However, the experience leading up to check-in was difficult. I booked my trip a few weeks in advance. Shortly thereafter, Vander emailed me a payment link to pay for my stay even though I provided a credit card to Hotels.com as part of the reservation. Hotels.com explicitly says to never pay through a payment link sent by the hotel and to only ever pay through Hotels.com's website. Vander also told me to provide them with my contact information. Hotels.com doesn't seem to allow this, so Vander told me how to avoid Hotels.com's automatic censorship of personal information (e.g., by adding spaces to my email address). I initially ignored Vander's email since it seemed sketchy, and I didn't hear anything further from them. The day of my trip, I clicked on the reservation details and discovered that Vander had canceled my booking weeks prior (presumably because I didn't click their payment link). I never received any notification from Hotels.com or Vander. I didn't have many other options on such short notice, so I re-booked with Vander and paid them through their link this time. It worked out fine. Check-in was difficult as others have stated. The app didn't work. I called and was buzzed in, so no trouble in the end. But still--if you're going to have a no-staff-on-site model, it isn't really acceptable to not have a functioning app.
• Ulrika (10/5): - Mina två synpunkter är att jag hade svårt att hitta till rummet på vån 6, otydlig märkning. Samt konstig lukt i trapphuset upp till vån 6. Annars underbar vistelse i lägenhetsrum som var bättre än våra förväntningar!
• Amanda (2/5): - My email to the property - First you promise me a refund as I get locked out for HOURS , food cold, medications missed and since it was Sunday you have limited staff so we waited and waited for HOURS. Then I get back to Usa and DAYS go by and no refund as promised. Then I email YOU 3 times and you completely ignore my emails. And then TODAY out of the blue your asking me for a cleaning fee???? I stayed 9 nights NOT ONE DAY , Not a single day did you clean the apartment. And you say some thing about expedia rate ? I PAID WHAT YOU ASKED ME TO !! AND NOW YOUR SAYING THAT AS Gesture of Good will you want me to pay you for the cleaning fee ??? is this a JOKE ? Please make this right and keep you promise and refund me for the INCONVENIENCE AND STRESS YOU CAUSED ME !! shame on you *** I NEED A MANAGER TO CALL ME , This is unacceptable and Fraud AND CERTAINLY NOT PROFESSIONAL. AND You kept asking me to resend my emails over and over again *** FIX your system
• Paul (4/5): - Good location in central Bergen, close to the train station and light rail. The check-in process was difficult as the property asked for my email address in a specific format, which I eventually deduced was with spaces between each character. They also expected me to download their app, but that required my mobile number and for me to message them or email them using a space between each character of their email address. Just too much work! They didn’t send the code for getting into the building, so I had to call them and also needed assistance checking in on their electronic board, which created a keycard. Our room on the second floor smelt of seeerage in the bathroom, as did the corridor outside. Thankfully the manager moved us to another room on the fifth floor, which had a great view,. However, it had a skylight in the bedroom that had no curtain, so we had to wear eye masks to sleep with the midnight sun! Finally, the day after checking out, they messaged to say they hadn’t charged the cleaning fee in the initial booking, so had recouped that - just another indication of the problematic service.
• KWANGNYUN (10/5): - 호텔 체크인에 1시간 가까이 지연되었어요. 셀프 체크인 머신이 에러가 계속되어 콜센터에 연락을 30분 가까이 했는데 전ㅅ져 응답이 없었습니다. 다른 투숙객의 도움으로 1시간여만에 체크인 할 수 있었습니다. 다수 툭숙객들이 체크인 과정에 붙편을 겪었다고 했습니다. 그러나 룸 컨디션은 괜찮습니다.
• Ron (8/5): - This was a great last minute find. Our other booking fell through so this was a last minute find. The location could not have been better. The unit was in very good condition and they met my disability needs. The check-in was different for us an a little complicated - all automated. The cooktop gave us problems as turning it on and off was way more complicated than it needed to be. The whole unit was on a main power switch that ran all things electric in the unit. An instruction book, more detailed than what was on the door, would have been helpful. If the burner was hot, you could not turn the stove on again. And there was a third layer of a switch you had to hit before you could use it. Not intuitive at all. However, we would definitely stay in this place again. Great value now that we know how to operate things.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Not great. - Very hard bed. Very poor internet, that only worked sometimes. The TV didnt work. This is not a hotel, but a rental property in a whole house.
• Bjørn Sindre (10/5): Tommel opp - Flott leilighetshotell i gamle Augustin sine lokaler. Alt en trenger for å lage mat og andre huslige ting som å vaske klær. Nytt og moderne innredning.

• kenneth (8/5): - Fornøyd med plasseringen og rommet. Tynne puter, altså lite fyllingsgrad (noe som utgjorde mindre god søvn mtp nakke).
• CHRISTIAN (8/5): - Très bon hébergement dans tous les domaines. Attention toutefois, tout se fait via l'application mobile et l'utilisation peut être peu intuitive pour des non initiés (idem pour les poubelles au moment du check out). Sinon, c'est parfait.
• ANNE E (8/5): Brand new hotel - All in all, we were happy with the stay. But figuring out the self-checkin and how to use the elevator with the card key was a bit challenging, as was how to use the stove top. Parking was challenging too, until I discovered how close the Klostergarasjen was (the walk from it). The coffee maker worked, then it stopped working, but the manager came and replaced it in the evening. She also showed me how to use the stovetop. More instructions are needed for that.
• Kristoffer (10/5): - Perfekt for oss med en liten en og mat allergier. Hotell i nærheten med frokost. Litt dårlig med parkering.
