- Roman (8/5): - It was a nice stay, comfortable bedding, limited responses with the property though, had to call the 800 number several times when we needed something / had questions because the text communication was sporadic. There are some homeless that wander near the property at night, but they see harmless and I believe it’s because there’s a clinic nearby. Not too far from all the downtown activity and there’s a good late night taco place next door.
- Marissa (8/5): - The beginning of my stay at this site wasn't the best, but the on-site property manager was able to address my concerns the next morning. Most communication at this site is done through email, which can be frustrating. Although the website states that texting is an option, I don't think anyone ever responded to a text. The site is clean and quiet. I do wish the room had a dresser for storing clothing and a larger bed, but overall, it was a good stay.

- Michael (6/5): Could be great with a little attention and prep. - This is clearly recent construction and has not been cleaned or prepped for renting yet. The floors were dirty from construction. The baseboards have not been cleaned and have some nasty stuff where someone had an accident and must have spilled something. There was a screw on the floor in the bedroom. The coffeemaker is missing a piece and doesn’t work. The door code to our room didn’t work. The code to get into the building was fine though. I parked in a designated parking spot for the building I was staying in and received a ticket. I had to call in to get my PIN code because the automated service didn’t send me an e mail it a text. I just don’t think the management was ready yet to react to customers.

- Alex (10/5): - Wonderful rental. Apartment was very clean. Excellent gym and common area. Parking simple and straight forward. Would absolutely stay again! I do have to mention one drawback, it is a place that requires an additional signup that includes uploading your ID and providing a card online. The process was less than ideal and the service they use was problematic. Make sure you account for the additional hassle. However, once we were in the rental, it was absolutely worth the initial problems.
- Brooke (10/5): - Lovely apartment with everything we needed walking distance to all our favorite restaurants and bars downtown. We had a little trouble figuring out the thermostat, and management was very responsive.

- Celine (8/5): - There are a lot of great things about staying here. The apartments are nice. Everything is new. With that said, our first room we had a mini split blowout causing a flood of water in our room. When I asked to be switched to a different room we were but this one was slightly different. One less window lower ceilings so it felt smaller than the room we had just left. Which typically when you have to move in the middle of your stay I would hope they would do something nice and put you in a nicer room for the inconvenience. Second room. I was in the middle of doing a load of laundry when the machine stopped working. Also, the pull-out bed had never been completely set up so when we tried to open it up for my 13-year-old we could not because it was still zip tied shut. It was next to impossible to try to get a hold of anybody and even when we did there was nothing anybody could do because you're basically staying in an apartment. I was able to get the zip ties undone. However, when you're paying a lot per night, it's nice to not have to take plastic off of a mattress and maneuver a very heavy sofa so that you can just get it open. In the end I felt a little bit like a guinea pig... Testing out new rooms on us.

Confusion about the check in... resolved by Khalil ( personable and easy to deal with) My code did not allow me to access elevator from ground floor. Gym was not available Had to pay for parking on check in ( but seems common fir salt lake) Common area was amazing Washer and dryer in the room Full refrigerator. If i was buying a co-op, i would consider here

- Elden (10/5): - Brix-Placemakr Salt Lake City is brand new. In fact the workout area wasn’t completed yet. Room was good size & well designed. Great light relatively quiet for an Utah Pride weekend. It’s not like a bare bones Airbnb. It had a full compliment of everything from cutlery to cooking pots and pans, strainers bowls, brand new washer, dryer & TV hooked up to Roku easily accessing Netflix and other streaming accounts! No human property manager to deal with, emails with info if you had questions you could call and maybe get get someone to speak with. All in all, it was a great experience I would stay at a Brix-Placemakr again.
- Rajas Prasannakumar (8/5): - It was decent. It was our first time staying in Placemakr. The apartment seemed a bit unfinished but overall was ok for a 4 day stay.
- Joel (8/5): - A few hiccups staying at the property: Elevator was down, front was broken. They just opened so I bet they work out all the kinks. Would stay again.
- David (6/5): - Some may like the industrial look but I felt it was unfinished and unkept. Walking down the halls with cement floors is not my idea of a nice place. it wouldn't cost much to carpet and put down some tile. Other than that the place was great. You need a tv in the bedroom. You also should have put in a king bed. May be back but it wouldn't be my first option.
- Cindy (10/5): - The staff and management at Placemakr were very professional and helpful. The rooms are clean and nice. It's very conveniently located in Salt Lake City and walking distance to shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay at Placemakr again!
- Beverly (8/5): - Once this building is completed, I feel sure it will be very nice. Unfortunately, my evaluation is based on how we found it. I booked two rooms for three nights. Unknown to me at the time, this location had just opened the day before we occupied it. To say they were not ready for opening would be an understatement!! The worst part was there was no one onsite we could communicate with. The last day of our stay we met the COO,Ryan, who was gracious and compted our room.
- Wayne (4/5): No very pleasant - On first day i was able to go into parking garage one time then was unable to access it for 1.5 days had to park on street in a no parking zone next day was able to park in garage. Then the refrigerator went out and lost food we had in there.. the vent over stove was not connected correctly then had to pack stuff nove to anouther room one floor down then was unable to run air conditioner cause it was leaking very bad that water would splash into the closet that got some of our clothes wet. And then the washer would stay on most time you would have to continue to flip breaker to turn it on. I was supost to be on a short vacation stay and ended with about 3 days of issues with room. The guy i was dealing with was very good was told would possibly get some refund but see i was charged full price for it( no refund ) it sucked yo see others able to access parking as i looked like a fool standing there and having to back up to allow other to get in but not able to myself. To add we was next to a place that would play loud music at night also and when move to 3rd floor it was even louder. Have video of air conditioner leaking
- Rita (2/5): Paper Thin Walls - Property wasn't completely built and there were unexpected hoops that we had jump through before we were allowed to check in. Once those were completed, it was pretty smooth. The biggest issue, however, was how loud the room was. Walls were paper thin and we were kept up all night by someone screaming obscenities in the room next door. Also, we booked the unit for four people, yet only had towels for two and no bedding for the pull-out couch. As there was no front desk, we couldn't ask for additional towels and linens. The idea of this place is good, but the execution was unacceptable. Hopefully you will improve your service once you complete construction.
