Chris (6/5): - Very friendly and nice staff . But lacking in certain areas that need up grading. We have stayed before in the old part but they have since opened or connected to a different building and that's definitely needing some improvement.

Mistie (8/5): Nothing fancy but clean. - Check in was friendly, the room itself was great very clean and comfortable. The hallway smelled very unpleasant and the pool looked sort of like dirt had settled at the bottom and then too much chlorine got put in to tey to counteract. Overall I was pleased with this day the bed was comfortable and that's the most important part to me along with the cleanliness of the room.
NICOLE (6/5): - Got the King Suite specifically for the 2 person hot tub. It has no jets, just air bubbles from the bottom. Only one ice machine for a large motel. Pool and hot tub were nice but pool surface needs refinishing. Great location

Anthony (8/5): Perfect for After the Lake Michigan Crossing - Stayed here after crossing Lake Michigan via the SS Badger from Wisconsin. This was my second time staying here as it was convenient and of good value the year prior when I did the same motorcycle trip. The hot tub was welcoming, as was the staff. The rooms were clean, and I loved the pillows. No funky smells. The hot tub could’ve used a cleaning - the bottom was beginning to accumulate a slipperiness. Other than that, it’s always been right on the money for the convenience, comfort, and service.

Benjamin (2/5): - I was greeted by a kind staff member and checked in, after finding our room we found spiderwebs with some fat spiders attached right in the door frame to get into our room, as we got in a strong moldy/musty smell hit us and we found the room to be in very poor condition. My wife and I did not feel comfortable/safe staying, let alone having our child in this environment. I went to talk to the gentleman that checked me in and he attempted to show me another room to try and help us because of how late it was and when seeing the room, it was in a little better condition but still had that musty smell to it. I ended up thanking him for his time but our mind had been made the second we entered the first room. For one it’s not worth the price they listed, even during a holiday weekend. We did not end up staying. I would not recommend this Lodge to anyone bringing their family up, the pictures are fabricated to make it look a lot more appealing than what it actually was.

The breakfast was decent and had a good amount to choose from. If you're looking for somewhere budget friendly to stay a night or two, this is a good option.

Brittni (2/5): - I paid in advance and after checking in and hearing there would be a 100$ deposit hold on my credit card, a couple hours later I see they charged me 219$.I called them and they said they didn’t know why this happened and they reversed the charge. Dirty walls. Uncomfortable bed. No artwork on the walls. TINY bathroom. Smoke alarm went out and they said they’d put a new battery in it and never did after being told about it at about 9am. Door to room was not numbered, had trouble finding it. Old paint not covered up with new paint on the doors. Outdated, uneven flooring. Fridge was very cold which is about the only positive they had. Breakfast was average. Not impressed. Was never going to stay here again after the last stay was similar but then saw they had a new owner in econo lodge and somehow the experience was worse. NEVER staying again. For what we paid, well over 100$ a night for a Thursday and Friday night l, not worth it at all.

Debra (4/5): - My husband and I were booked for 4 nights. When we arrived we were told there was no elevator and no luggage carts. They did offer a first floor room. However, we explained that we both have heart issues and lots of luggage. The walk to the room included 2 sections of hallway on quite an incline and then a long walk to the room. We explained that we would not be able to carry all of our things that far. There is no mention on any info that I read about the facility not having an elevator. There was no offer to assist with luggage. The lobby and hallways were not air conditioned. There was a slight funky smell throughout. We did not go near the pool. But, from a distance had quite the green look to it. We could not physically stay there. They would not waive the one night fee that was charged to our card. The cancelation policy requires 24 hour notice. This is not a good location for anyone with any health issues that would make it difficult to get luggage to a room.
Timothy (8/5): Fishing nearby… - Place was surprisingly comfortable. I have stayed there in the past. It’s a bit dated but served my purpose well. Hot tub and pool was in working order. Light breakfast eggs & sausage was available.

Matthew (2/5): - If you have ANY expectations at all - do not stay here. This was by far one of the worst hotels I've stayed at on the West side of the state. My room was on the 2nd floor. The hallway smelled horrible on my way to my room and once I entered it there was mold in the tub, the grout in the tile floor was supposed to be tan, but majority of it was black, the view out the only window was of a

Pretty sure they operate under two names too, Econo branded and then another for “under the table” rooms. Do not stay here.

Cynthia (8/5): - Everything was as expected. The room was clean and quiet. The complementary breakfast was good. Eggs, sausage, waffles, toast, muffins, cereal and fresh coffee. Nice view of the lake and USS city of Milwaukee. Building could use a facelift and the grounds could use some sprucing up. Otherwise perfectly reasonable for the price, my only complaint is the pool had a greenish tinge to the water but I never actually went into the room so it could have just been the lighting.

Laura (4/5): - I am a travel agent and stayed here and was not impressed I did a pay at hotel rate and was called by the property more than a few times to request payment before I got there which was odd the property was sold out I was told however when i got there it was not also the room i got was not facing the lake and smelled really horrible when I entered and no air was on very hot no coffee maker in the room housekeeping turned off the air when they serviced the room hot water took 15 mins and sink didnt work in the bathroom not a clean place and smelled bad didnt have a nice stay when I was at the hotel not friendly staff

It has a nice indoor heated pool and hot tub as well as a breakfast with several choices. The staff was pleasant and accommodating to our needs. There is no elevator but the stairs are reasonable between levels. We look forward to staying here again!
Stephen (10/5): Travelling Australians - Value for money in comparison to similar priced competitors. The front desk staff is excellent, the bed was clean and comfortable, the body contoured bath was excellent. The hot breakfast was great value and again the staff kep the area immaculate. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but the area was again kept nice. The outside isnt much but the the offering inside is well worth the stay. Would definitely stay again. 10/10

Stephanie (6/5): - Our room was clean but overall our stay was only okay. This hotel just smells bad. The hallway and our room had a mildewy, musty smell. We went to the store to buy an air freshener and avoided being in the room most of the time. We had family that stayed in a different part of the hotel and it didn't have that same smell so I'd recommend only accepting a room if the number stays with a 3 or 4. Our room number started with a 2 and that whole section smelled terrible. The hotel is built on a hill and is long, so each numbered section is separate and goes higher up the hill, (1-4) with 3 and 4 in the same section with 2 floors. The free breakfast was good and had many options. The pool and hot tub needed to be cleaned. We appreciated the microwave and refrigerator in our room.

I asked what room I would be in I was told a 1st level room and the room number. I said that i had dinner meeting at 5 and I would not be to get back to the hotel till after 7pm. I returned and the owner was giving someone else the room I was that I would be in. A older gentleman was also complaining about the room he was given as he expressly asked for a 1st level room because he was unable to up the stairs.

Our son thought he left his elf toy at the hotel, and the staff was kind enough to call us and let us know they didnt find it. But we found it at the in laws down the road. Lovely place!
