- Amina (2/5): Room was double booked - We arrived and were told that another couple was in our room. The staff offered us a complimentary drink while they sorted it out, we were led to believe there was jut a mix-up. However the room was double booked, the staff asked a family member to vacate another room for us with no ensuite and said they wouldn't charge me but I haven't had my money back over a month later.
- Paul (10/5): - The Pub was a grade 2 listed building which was a 1700 era the best way to describe it is Quirky! . The internal pub area was full of history and upstairs the rooms fixtures and fitting new with the decoration being fresh but sympathetic to the age of the building. the food was good Pub Grub and the cooked breakfast was great Full English or Full Scottish Both filling and well cooked, served piping hot! Lovely outside area and caters for Dogs.

- Caroline (8/5): Black Horse overnight visit - Lovely find.. specious and fresh room... We were late to arrive so only found shower stuff in the shared kitchen next morning.. Maybe a suggestion of a better size quicker kettle in the bedroom...other than that ...all good

Accommodated a late change I made and were very helpful. Beautifully renovated property with lots of parking, spacious room with good amenities and comfy bed and bedding. Spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Highly recommended for business or pleasure!!!
