- David (8/5): - The Perth County Inn is located steps from the lovely Shakespearean Gardens and Avon river. It's owner is very helpful and quick to respond to questions or concerns. One caution I would give is that the Inn is located on a busy traffic route - Ontario Street, so I would suggest rooms other than the "City View" which overlooks Ontario Street. The Relic Apartment, which I stayed in, is above a bar - and on Friday night I could hear the thumping base of their music until 1:30 AM.

- Christine (8/5): Great Location - We appreciated that this self-entry style room was located in the heart of downtown Stratford. We enjoyed being able to walk everywhere. We noticed that many things in the apartment were damaged / showing signs of wear, like a broken door handle, stained mugs, hard water deposits and wires from lights not plugged in and wrapped around lights. I also expected this to be an actual inn with on-site parking, a reception and lounge based on the photos. The beds were very comfortable and the decorations were nicely dine and classy.

No-fuss parking and straightforward self-check-in. Full kitchen. Comfy beds. There is an outside seating space at the side of the Inn with a flower garden that is buzzing with bees!
- Barb (10/5): - Immaculately clean and supplied all our needs - lots of towels, great coffee machine, wine glasses, comfortable bed and a love seat. Perfectly air-conditioned as it was very hot outside. Loved the deck with the art installation.
- Linh (4/5): - We were assigned the Night Owl room which is on the ground floor. You can see into the room from the sidewalk, there is no blind to completely block out the lights. There is also a door that allows entrance to our room directly from the street level; it was locked of course but we definitely felt uneasy. Our room is right next to the bathrooms of the SpeakEasy bar, and you can hear everything. Last call at the bar was 11:45 pm (Friday/ Saturday) so we could hear drunk people coming in and out past midnight. We found the check-in/ out process easy, and the location was convenient but would never stay here again.

Self serve hotel, no staff on site but instructions on how to connect with staff were given. Parking is 1.5 blocks away and suite was up a flight of stairs with no elevator. The heritage building has been lovingly transformed into cosy suites that are comfy, clean, reasonable and a pleasure to spend to time in Stratford. The rooms are small and there is more restaurant. But why worry about that? You’re surrounded by lovely restaurants and coffee shops. The hotel has a delightful deck that’s inviting and cozy. And you’re right where you wanna be when you’re in Stratford walking distance to the theatres and even shorter walk down to the riverside trail area. And it’s a delightful change from more traditional hotels that really don’t have any character or charm. This has it all. and at a very reasonable price too.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Stratford theatre getaway - Very comfortable room, loft style with wide plank pine floors brick wall and high ceilings. Had great lattes at the connected coffee bar, and cocktails at the Relic lobby bar. Great welcoming people everywhere.

- Susan (4/5): - Didn’t expect to sleep in a Murphy bed. Kind of like your parents pull out couch. Very clean facility. There is a speak easy in the facility so don’t expect to sleep until 1 am. Very noisy.

The location is perfect—right downtown, close to theatres, shops, and the river. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the whole place has a calm, boutique charm that makes every visit special. It truly feels like a home away from home.
