Guest Reviews
- Fatima (10/5): - Rooms clean, stuff very nice.
- Michael (10/5): - Great spacous room. Only .negative was the long walk to casinos and dining.
- Bruce (10/5): - Didn't get in the hot tub. Parking was well lite and safe.
- Doreen (10/5): - Good
- Sherry (10/5): - parking was good except when we went out to leave sombody had hit our car and just left.we are waiting to hear back from your security people about possible video.
- Kelly (10/5): - We loved our stay at Montego Bay and hope to be back soon! Our room was very clean and quiet. We love the location off elevator is coffee shop - so convenient! We had a great time!!
- Jonathan (10/5): - Loved this place
- Gustavo (10/5): - Everything was great!
- Audrey (8/5): - It was very clean food was great
- Tanya (8/5): - This was probably the best hotel room we have had at wendover. Room was clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable. Pillows could have been better.
- Darrell (8/5): - Better than Peppermill. Nicer rooms.
- Devin (8/5): - Smoking was not good !
- Lauryn (10/5): Very nice - It was an excellent room and so convenient for us.
- Benny (8/5): - The property was beautiful and the room was very nice and comfortable. The restaurant had a very good selection of available dishes. My only complaint had to do with ‘after’ check-in. There are zero provisions to get luggage from the entrance or even the many parking lots to the room. No luggage carts and when I asked a staff member, she looked confused. This is a major inconvenience for seniors and would be the single reason I might not go back.
- Jill (10/5): - Nice hotel, good price
- Melinda (8/5): - I loved the bed! It was my most favorite part. The employees were all super nice and helpful. What I didnt like was the wall of cigarette smoke smell that hit me when I walked in the front door.
- Mark (10/5): - Yup
- Bobbie (10/5): - The room was very clean and comfortable would enjoy staying there in the future
- Marvin (10/5): - An outstanding place to play the room for extremely clean
- Ronald (10/5): - Stayed in a suite nice jetted tub big room
- Angela (10/5): - Had a great stay. Clean hotel, friendly staff.
- Rebecca (8/5): - Parking is well lite but no parking for oversized vehicles, trailers or RVs. The casinos no longer cater to the racing community but they up charge the racers during the race season. Bathrooms need to be remodeled. Slow toilets and step in bathtubs. Lighting in the room is dim and doesn’t provide a good feeling.
- Angela (10/5): - Beautiful hotel. Lovely views. Staff was friendly and helpful. Clean rooms. Very nice place.
- ronald (10/5): - Love the steam shower. We have put this hotel on our list of hotels to use as we travel,
- jose (10/5): - Great place
- Ryan (10/5): - Clean
- Jason (10/5): - Great hotel
- Andres (10/5): - Nice rooms
- Nicole (2/5): - Reserved a suite for several hundred dollars minutes before trying to check in - was turned away and refused a refund due to having only my digital ID, since my physical one was stolen 2 days ago while traveling. Not only was this information not disclosed anywhere, including the booking screen, the supervisor lied and told me it was a law that I must possess my physical ID due to it being a casino - it is definitely not a law. Digital ID through state apps IS legal ID. (I’m also here only to sleep before returning to the road.) The internet confirmed, Expedia confirmed, and the casino/resort across the street (linked by skyway even) was happy to take my digital ID. A representative from Expedia tried to mediate the issue, but the supervisor told them too bad, they don’t care. Since the policy was not disclosed anywhere, and there was no way for us to know this is straight up theft. steer clear. This casino has zero regard for your safety & no interest in serving anyone but themselves. Further adding insult to injury by trying to lie to cover up their greed.. A large portion of their parking lot was also caution taped off, which came off as seedy and suspicious. go absolutely anywhere else
- Bland (10/5): - The property is showing it's age around the outside; metal fencing with a lot of rust, worn out carpet in a few areas. But overall the condition is worth my 4 star rating as they are working to maintain it's appearance.
- Nancy (8/5): - We LOVED the swimming pool. The length of the pool allowed for swimming laps without bumping into other pool users.
We shared a dinner salad in the restaurant that was not only delicious but was enough food to satisfy both of our appetites. We appreciated the ability to watch our budget and not end up with leftovers that would go to waste.
- Kayla (10/5): - We stopped in for one night on a road trip from Montana to California and this place had the most comfortable bed I slept in during the trip. Place was clean and all workers we came across were extremely friendly! My only complaint was the restaurant prices vs quality that we saw coming out. We chose to leave and eat at a local pizza place!
- Kimberly (8/5): Good hotel and casino. - My mother, sister, and I stayed for 3 nights in a double king room. The room was very big and comfortable, the only thing we didn’t like was the small shower/tub with a sliding glass door.
If you have mobility issues, you will have to request a room close to the elevator, which we did not and regretted it our whole stay! The hallway’s are so long and shaped like a maze, we had to take 2 elevator’s and go down 3 maze-like hallways to get to our room.
The casino is a nice size and has a nice selection of games, but it is very smoky! I guess I’m used to our non smoking casino’s in Washington State!
We ate at Paradise Grill and it was decent food for a reasonable price. We also had donuts, breakfast sandwiches, and deli sandwiches from Coffee Corner. Everything was very fresh and delicious!
I didn’t give this property an excellent rating only because of the smokiness and very long and winding hallways.
- Mindy (2/5): Almost died in elevator - So I had a pretty traumatic experience at Montego Bay this morning checking out. We were in the elevator and yes it was packed because everyone was checking out ( but we were clearly under the weight limit) when it started to malfunction. We felt like it was trying to go down but it was getting stuck. The alarm was going off and the doors wouldn't open. The phone wasn't working. And it kept on feeling like it was going to fall and was shaking every few seconds. It kept trying to go but kept getting stuck. People were freaking out We started talking about going thru the ceiling. But After what felt like an eternity (5 mins or longer) the doors finally opened... needless to say we took the stairs. I will probably take the stairs every where I go now...
- Karen (10/5): - very nice accommodations and the dinner menu was awesome, so much to choose from
- David (8/5): - Gambling
- Jeremy (6/5): - No terrible, not great. No fitted sheet on mattress, bathroom could be cleaner. Neet place just needs a little more attention to detail
- Shlomi (8/5): - Big room
Comfort bed
- Erika (6/5): - Called reception to ask current time (due to differing time zones). Response was we’re on Mountain time, so then asked her what was the actual time, her review was we don’t have that information!
Bathroom light was buzzing all night long even when it was off.
Room on the 5th floor, no trolleys for luggage available.
Asked if there was a microwave that we could use, since they don’t have one in the room and we’re told no, only if we purchased the items at the casino.
Room was clean.
- Lindsey (2/5): - Very rude staff. We encountered multile staff memebers that were not long rude but inappropriate. The casino is the only area that's maintained and nice. Rooms are dated and feel dirty.
- Leonard (10/5): - Room was just perfect
- Kyra (6/5): - Front desk girls were rude at check in. Check out was girl was good. Room was dusty with lots of cobwebs. Bathroom floor needed mopping, esp corners and behind door. Restaurant, Paradise, had good food and excellent service.
- Mark (10/5): - Nice Property. Beautiful Room
- Mojra (2/5): - Our car broke down and we requested a refund for extreme circumstances, and we received no response
- paul (10/5): - Nice place
- Raymond (8/5): - Comfortable room and bed. Lighting could be improved. One corner needed a light and one light needed a bulb replaced. Two wall plugs inoperable
- Verified traveler (6/5): Shereen at the front desk was awesome. - Pros- pool and hot tub very nice. Bakery was yummy. Slots were fun.
Cons - The floor in our room wasn’t vacuumed. Pez candy and trash left in the room. Thermostat stuck on 68 and can’t lower it. The lobby stunk like an ashtray.
- Shelly (10/5): - I stayed here during speed week and it is a very nice place.
- Devon (8/5): - The room was nice and spacious, it had a lot of big mirrors. The dinner at Romanza was delicious. I would definitely book here if I am back in the area.
- Marilyn (8/5): - Beautiful room and great food. Service could have been better.
- Craig (8/5): - Was great, the nicest we have stayed in the last five years
- Linda (8/5): - Great stay!
- Giselle (10/5): - Most comfortable beds ever
- ALAN (10/5): - Great property,. We have stayed before so knew in advance that dining choice in area is poor
- Sharon (10/5): - Not one thing wrong with this hotel! Was one of our favorites. How’s everything! Slots were loose so we walked out of there only $50 down. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
- Anna (6/5): - Surprise $20 “resort fee” was not expected and not appreciated.
- Carolina (10/5): - Next to the elevator
- Brad (10/5): - Clean and comfort rooms. Casino floor was well maintained.
- daniel (4/5): Truck stop quality hotel with casino. - It is fine for a place to sleep. Hotel room is just good enough for a stop over night. Property could use a serious update, although given the clientele, I can see why it’s not necessary.
- Tricia (10/5): - The room was clean and a great size. Comfortable beds.
- Jeff (4/5): - Room was old.
Check in staff made us feel like we were a bother to them.
- Jeffrey (10/5): - Very nice for Wendover but there's just not much outside of the casinos there.
- Jon (8/5): - good property
- Dorothy (4/5): - No valet no carts to bring your luggage in room was confusing had to take multiple elevators no room service I’d never stay her again. But biggest shock I prepaid for my room but had to pay another $72 something at checkin total bs
- Wendy (4/5): - SMOKY….the ventilation system was terrible and smoke from the casino went into the rooms.
- Jeremy (6/5): - Even though it was a smoke free room, I could smell smoke through the ventilation system
- Jenny (10/5): - Lovely restaurants in a fun casino
- Nannette (8/5): - Large rooms and clean Casino.
- Jeff (8/5): - NA
- Yvette (10/5): - Was glad i was able to check in 1 hour early. I was soo tired from driving 9 hours. I was hoping not to wait a whole hour before i can relax. As soon as i got to my suite i started the jetted hot tub and was able to finally relax 😌 . Everything was clean room temperature was fresh, perfect 👌
- Paul (8/5): - Nice newer hotel/casino located on the NV/UT border. Dining options okay affiliated with other hotel/casino on road.
- susan (10/5): - Wonderful staff and very clean hotel. I asked to have a room away from casino area and the hotel graciously read my request and provided me with this room.
- Mariemid (10/5): - Excellent service
- Amber (10/5): - Great stay, clean, quiet, spacious room.
- Mitchell (4/5): Poor - all rooms are smoking rooms - We booked a non smoking room but entire building was filled with smoke / our room reaked, clothing , suitcases etc smelled of smoke in morning. Couldn’t sleep because of coughing and sneezing from smoke. Bathroom sink would not drain . Clearly a stop for low income entertainment . Would have drove through to Salt Lake City had we realized how poverty stricken the area was . On a positive note - we got in late and we’re hungry and wait staff at only open restaurant in casino was working hard, kind and food was pretty good.
- Martha (10/5): -
- TARA (10/5): - Montego is a beauty of a property. Friendliness of staff and beautiful interior lobby and rooms are all excellent.
- Nancy (8/5): - Check in was slow. Syaff didnt know how to check in Expedia reservation. I may have been double charged. Now i need to follow up with this.
- Luke (2/5): - This place is unfair with minimum bets and room was unkept. This place is also rigged
- xavier (10/5): - Really enjoyed my room we had a mini suite, which had a steam shower and a hot tub in the room and it was all very clean. Check in/out was easy. The casino was not the best I love playing the table most dealers were kinda rude it just seemed like they didn’t want to be there.
- Mariann (10/5): Love it here - Hotel and casino are beautiful. The casino surrounds you with huge videos of places around the world, the hotel rooms are very spacious and clean. The beds are very comfortable.
- Dorothy (10/5): - Fantastic place to stay in Windover. Check in & out were easy. Our room was generously sized with a nice view. We really enjoyed the buffet which was even better than many in Reno. It had a wonderful selection of seafood, Chinese and desserts. The pool was ok but at least they had one!
- Jeff (8/5): Pretty good stay - It's a pretty typical casino property in wendover. The rooms are excellent size and pretty well appointed. The linens are nice looking but medium actual quality. However, like most of the places in wendover, it could use a refresh, especially the bathrooms. However the value is probably the best in Wendover for a higher end property.
- Diana (10/5): - Limpias y cómodas habitaciones
- Michael (8/5): - Its a nice place to get away. Food was decent
- Joshua (10/5): - Clean nice slots
- Larry (8/5): - It was a clean room
- Maria (10/5): - I liked the pool..
- Eugene (10/5): - Satisfied
- David (10/5): - Room was big and nice! Lije the two king beds!
- Maryanne (10/5): - Great place to stay, spacious, clean, but if you don’t smoke then you can smell cigarettes everywhere
- David (10/5): - Very comfortable rooms
- Rae (6/5): - Midweek stay and we found several of the restaurants closed.
The check-in staff seemed confused and this may have been a language barrier thing.
- Eugene (10/5): - Satisfied
- Anita (6/5): - Our Non smoking room smelled like stale smoke. The jets did not work in one of the hot tubs. The staff would not recommend any restaurants outside of the hotel.
Otherwise the bed was comfortable and the room was spacious and fairly clean.
- Daniel (8/5): - None
- Steve (10/5): - Enjoyed it enough to stay a second night!
- Steve (10/5): - Clean, upscale rooms with fresh air circulation. Casino is a little smokey, but not too bad. Pool is a great temp along with 3 spas for privacy.
- John (8/5): - Nice casino, hotel and nice rooms.
- Crag (10/5): - Çccccccccccccccc
