- Tammy (10/5): Great stay! - I had to text them for information on how to access my room. The climb up rhe 45 steps would be daunting for anyone with mobility issues. The fact that the outside door was open all night did put me off a bit. There could be another bit of security there with another keypad. It is an old renovated home so you hear a lot, but absolutely beautiful. I wouldn't want to stay in the room that exits right into the kitchen though. Would definitely stay there again!

- Barbara (6/5): - I would stay again. I think potential guests would like to know that the exterior door is always open, so that will bother some people. I had the small room and I had to keep the AC running all night because the room was very warm, and the window does not open.

- madeleine (6/5): - Sur votre site, ce n'est pas clairement indiqué que la salle de bain est partagée. Très propre. Aucun personnel sur place pour accueil et renseignement.
- RADU-LUCIAN (2/5): - We are *extremely* disappointed with this property due to its deceitful description in the listing. While the place was very clean, the bathrooms are shared, not in the room. The door to my room was literally in the kitchen. You can imagine what a pleasure it was to wake up to people talking and making noise. Lastly, the hotel is literally across the street from a still-active railroad where freight trains run all night! Just awful! Our only saving grace is that we had the presence of spirit to turn on the crappy noisy AC unit that blocked half of the only window in the room (forget fresh air), and that acted as somewhat of a noise machine during the night to block out the trains. This is nothing more than a glorified, expensive hostel. Thank God we only here 1 night! Expedia doesn't allow to post photos, but I will add them to Google maps.

- Ian (4/5): - It seemed all I needed for the evening but the bed mattress was terrible, you could hear the bed springs with every movement. It was very clean but lacked a hand towel holder in most communal bathrooms. 40 narrow stairs to the front door made it VERY inconvenient.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Très correct ! - Nous avons fait une nuit à l’hôtel, la literie est très confortable, les douches propres et spacieuses. Seul bémol : la clim (dans la chambre) était très bruyante et cela nous a réveillé dans la nuit.
- Shane (8/5): - Its tucked off the Trans Canada highway not far out of the way. Nice old converted home but i was unaware (my fault) that the bathroom is shared. When i think "hotel" I think self contained. The walls are a bit thin and theres no actual "hotel" staff on premises but I managed to get the operators name/# from the restaurant, and he sorted out my error with they key quickly. All in all, given the area and amenities available locally, I'd stay here again. Nice quiet place on a Thursday.

- Emilie (8/5): - Attention, il ne s'agit pas d'un hôtel, mais bien de chambres à louer au 3e étage d'un immeuble d'époque, mais rénové. Il y a 2 salles de bain neuves à partager entre les chambres et une cuisine avec une table et 4 chaises si on souhaite se faire à manger. Les lieux sont extrêmement propres et chaleureux grâce à Linda qui est le coeur et l'âme de l'endroit. Si ce n'était pas de sa présence, j'aurais trouvé l'accueil décevant puisqu'il n'y a personne pour nous accueillir, ce qui est normal souvent quand on loue des AirBnb, mais dans un lieu qui s'appelle hôtel, ça porte à confusion... J'ai reçu un texto avec les informations 30 minutes avant l'arrivée et j'ai pu accéder à la chambre immédiatement. Le lit était très confortable et il y avait beaucoup de rangement dans la chambre. L'air clim est seulement dans les aires communes, donc ça peut devenir chaud rapidement dans la chambre même si on ouvre la fenêtre et qu'on allume le petit ventilateur. Sachez qu'il faut monter un long escalier extérieur pour accéder aux lieux, c'est pas la fin du monde, mais pas recommandé pour les gens avec des difficultés de motricité. Somme toute, une fois qu'on a vu l'endroit et qu'on y a passé du temps, on l'apprécie. Je me suis même dit que j'y retournerais. Gros points bonis pour le délicieux restaurant situé au rez-de-chaussée, vous devez absolument l'essayer, on y est allés 2 fois en 3 jours.

Facteur extérieur temporaire: bruit provenant de l'expo agricole qui avait lieu lors de mon passage... Je n'ai pas lu qu'il n'y avait pas d'air clim dans la chambre. En juillet, c'est chaud un brin! Lit confo, salle de bain propre, cuisine propre!

- Carousel (10/5): - What a lovely share house. The bedrooms are clean and the mattresses are comfortable. Bathroom is spotless and the share kitchen has all the amenities needed. It's affordable and there is a good restaurant below.
- Julie (8/5): - Très belle petite auberge abordable. La propreté des lieux est impeccable. Accessibilité à une cuisine partagée complète. Deux salles de bain neuves sont partagées pour 6 chambres. Il faisait cependant chaud dans la chambre car seul l'espace commun est climatisé mais il y avait cependant un ventilateur. Le resto en bas de l'auberge est excellent. Je retournerais à cette auberge sans hésiter.

- Don (4/5): - It would have been good to know in advance the property was an Airbnb and not the usual hotel/motel. No real check in and no staff. Thankfully we got information from another couple as to where the entrance was because the picture is misleading. What is shown is the bar entrance and it is not as attractive as pictured. The entrance to the room was up 3 flights of wooden outside stairs....not the best for us. It is a room for the night but otherwise disappointing.

Silly me, I had difficulty with my door code and within minutes figured it out ( yes I needed **!) but the owner responded within minutes of my text, then cancellation for help. The attached restaurant was AMAZING! I would definitely come again!

- A (8/5): - Great facilities to use (Kitchen area was clean and well equipped) Rooms was very nicely decorated with fresh decor. Bed was very comfortable, but could use new sheets (mine had pilings). The building is older, so not the quietest ( doors quite noisy when people enter/leave), and is near train tracks (I didn't hear any trains overnight but saw them going by during the day). Clearly they are putting effort into renovations; but the property surrounding particularly the back entrance and stairs could use some cosmetic attention and better lighting. Someone on the second floor of the building (Not the hotel? but attached) was clearly smoking indoors, and so the back stair area (outdoors) often smelled like stale smoke. Good value for the money - great if you like to have more independence as there is not staff on site (self check-in with code).

Entrance to the floor my room was on was up a very steep exterior wooden staircase which although snow had been removed was still a bit slippery and quite challenging to carry luggage up and down. Bathroom shared - not private in room! No real amenities.

La veille on entendait le va et vient et les conversations dans la chambre à côté et dans les airs communs. Les Vraiment dommage.

- Elise (6/5): - Il n’y a pas d’accueil, simplement une porte avec un code. Nous pensions qu’il s’agissait d’une auberge et avons été déçus. Les chambres comportent peu de meubles, notamment seulement une table de chevet avec une lampe qui ne fait pas assez de lumière pour lire. Sinon, c’est le gros plafonnier ou rien. Très très peu d’insonorisation, donc pas d’intimité. On entend chaque détail de ce qui se passe dans la cuisine ou chambre d’à côté. Heureusement, les autres hôtes ont été très tranquilles et respectueux et se sont couché tôt comme nous, donc ça n’a pas été un problème. Cela dit, les chambres sont très propres, les lits sont confortables et les prix sont corrects. Pourrait convenir tres bien à un groupe qui réserverait plusieurs chambres et partagerait l’aire commune.
