Guest Reviews
- Linda Bachert (10/5): - Safe and quiet and close to many amenities
Staff courteous
- Benjammin (10/5): - Chill cozy vibe, gentleman at front desk was very polite and made check-in easy, nice well furnished and stocked room! Definitely would stay again.
- Kim (8/5): - The room had been recently renovated, so everything was new and freshly painted. The lighted mirror and vanity mirror in the bath were nice touches.
Unfortunately, our windows faced a loud, busy street. (Most rooms seemed to face away from the street.) I would stay there again but ask for a different room.
- Rose (10/5): - Very secure place. Super comfortable be.d and bedding. Upgraded shower.
This is a wonderful place to stay at a very reasonable price
- Arthur (10/5): - Newly refurbished and excellently done!
- mike (6/5): - Very noisy, write main drag
- Michael (10/5): - Pretty nice bathroom and on site parking is always a plus.
- Pam (10/5): - Nice place. Just a little noisy.
- Julie (8/5): - The owner was super helpful to my family
- Kaydon (10/5): - Kitchen utensils were a phenomenal variety of choices, staff were highly likeable and helpful with any questions needed to be answered. Will be going here anytime I stay in Eureka :)
- Emily-Anne (10/5): - The Snoozzz Inn was great! Rooms were nice and clean and fully stocked. Comfy beds and good location. I will definitely be recommending.
- Nicole (10/5): - The bathroom was very nicely renovated and very clean. Nice room for a great price. The staff went out of their way to help us when we had to change our plans.
- Tami (10/5): - This motel was updated very nicely. It was very clean and parking was convenient. The room was a little small but comfortable.
- Alan (8/5): - We enjoyed our stay at the property. The room was clean and the staff very helpful. We would stay there again. However, it was very noisy due to the main route for southbound hwy 101 was right outside the door. The traffic finally quieted down around 10:30 pm but picked back up again by 6:00 am. It also being a one-way street made it difficult to get in and out of the driveway. Maybe when the restaurant is finished, the entrance will move to the side street.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Amazing! What a great stay, the bed is very comfortable. One thing to note…you must check in before 10pm or there will not be anyone available at the front desk.
- Brandon (10/5): - Super reasonably priced for the last minute stay we booked. Staff was super friendly and the place was very clean. Going to be very cute when fully completed.
- Vivek (10/5): - comfortable place and good location
- Vicki (10/5): - Great stay for one night along our route to Crater Lake in Oregon. We booked a 2 bed room the day before so it was a good find! Misty, at front reception, was friendly and helpful and gave us a room upgrade (full kitchen!) The room was large, comfortable, and clean.
- Michael (8/5): - Newly renovated, nice; clean room comfortable king bed, nice price point, convenient parking…only drawback was road noise from our particular room with intersection behind our corner of the hotel but slept fine and 100+ bucks cheaper than brand hotel three blocks away
- Paul (8/5): - Front desk was nice.
- Robert (8/5): - Place has a fresh coat of paint everywhere with some new and some original amenities in the room. We found it interesting our room was less than 100.00 but the deposit was 200.00 and no cash. As a touring musician I am not a fan of the deposits because we stay in a different hotel every night. We wind up w thousands tied up in deposits
- Bob (10/5): - Great place, clean and we had a very spacious room with kitchenette.
- Stephen (10/5): - this is a wonderful clean place to stay. an early check in was no problem, the room was big with all amenities and then some. Misty had installed those little extras that make your stay more enjoyable and comfortable. We feel honored to be the first Aussies to stay there under your management.
- John Paul (8/5): - Comfortable and easy
- Kimberly (10/5): - Guests are spread out, not all crammed next door to each other.
- Andrey (10/5): - Friendly staff, great service.
- Robert (10/5): - When you walk into the room, it smells fantastic!! Clean, updated, very comfortable!!! Great place to stay! A little traffic noise from the busy intersection, but other than that, very nice!!!
- scott (8/5): - A recent upscale remodel was well done.
- MELINDA (10/5): - Affordable and great room, staff
- Natalie (8/5): - Management was kind
- Carlos (10/5): - Great job with the renovation. Cool spot. Will stay again if in the area.
- Danette (10/5): - Great place. Very appealing lighting and comfortable beds.
- Katrien (10/5): - Right off the 101 with easy private, safe, very well lit parking- Minutes from the Waterfront, the Carson Manson and the Pinc hotel-
The room was amazing! Very clean, hidden fridge, and a gorgeous shower! Great amenities and last but not least : very kind and welcoming hosts! Would stay here again!
- Debi (10/5): - Front desk person was very friendly and helpful
- Laura (10/5): - Surprisingly modern and cute. The room was clean and the shower was so nice after a long day. Not the best water pressure but otherwise this is a great value for the price!
- Rogelio (8/5): - Está bonito muy limpio buena amabilidad
- Ann (6/5): Modern but noisy - We wanted a nap when we arrived and requested a quiet room, but even then it was really loud from traffic stopping and starting right outside our wall. Lots of loud mufflers. Tolerable at night, but not a great location.
- Katrina (10/5): Hidden Gem - Overall absolutely great. I purposely check out remodeled motels. I’m a local vacation rental owner and host. There were a few small details that can be approved upon but they seem to be focused on providing a quality product and service. And you can tell attention to detail. I absolutely recommend. I think it’s a gem and will get even better.
- Bruce (10/5): - Facility very clean and modern rooms. Staff extremely accommodating
- Dhruvil Priteshbhai (10/5): - Very friendly staff. Clean place. Definitely recommend to stay at this place
- Frank (10/5): Ill be back - Misty was awesome at check-in. The room was a excellent! I'll be back.
- Kimberly (10/5): - Missy, the receptionist, could be the nicest, most helpful person ever!!!
- Tina (8/5): - The hotel clerks/managers are not often at the front desk, which is annoying. No elevator but I can carry heavy stuff up a stairway, which I'm grateful for. No real tv (abc/nbc/cbs), just roku but perhaps that's the norm now.
- Jonathan (10/5): - Super friendly staff and very clean and modern room. Street was noisy at first and got quiet through the night. I would stay again. Thanks
- Shelley (10/5): Great accommodations - Great location. Very convenient. Booked a room with kitchenette which exceeded my expectations. I prefer to cook my own food rather than eat out so this was perfect! Check in and out with Ty was so welcoming! Comfy and quite spacious room. Couldn't ask for anything more.
- Bridget (8/5): - Clean rooms, helpful staff
- hollie (10/5): - Comfortable bed and nice shower
- ED (4/5): - It was ok. It advertises a kitchenette but the day we were leaving we asked why no microwave. Oh… you have to request. But they didn’t say that. Just dumb. Also the dupe keurig was a big pain! Also for the love of god stop using insane chemicals. The smell and air was so bad. We had to open the windows. Makes you feel like they are just covering up other odors. Unless I had to I would not stay again. I like to support smaller businesses but ya’ll are killing me. I just can’t with this stuff.
- Debby (10/5): - The staff was really friendly, even helped us get our bags into the room and provided us extra towels.
- Timothy (10/5): - Pleasantly surprised by excellent staff and modern clean rooms. Not sure what I expected but this hotel was great.
- Gale (10/5): - The room was brand new and beautiful. Loved the little extra touches. We were at the end near a road and a traffic light. We certainly knew when people were going to work the next morning!
- Michelle (10/5): - Good location in Eureka, close to Old Town. We had the suite with a kitchen which was perfect. Beds were comfortable. Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner provided in the shower. No iron or ironing board, if that’s a need of yours. A/C worked well! We definitely heard road noise (our room was a corner with a window on 4th street). We had a box fan with us which helped dull the noise.
- Darren (10/5): - It was exactly what the advertisement showed. Good price. Easy to find
- aaron (10/5): - ,
- Clark (10/5): - Remodeled room was great but some rooms still under construction. Walkable to numerous restaurants.
- James (8/5): Overall good stay - Decent hotel/motel in Eureka. Overall nice stay. Like some other reviews stated, you can hear the cars from your room. Street parellel to the hotel is surface street of Highway 101. We stayed in a first floor room and you can hear guests' footsteps from above. Convenient location close to downtown and Arcata. Would stay again if in the area. Restaurant tip...the Indian restaurant across the street is delicious!
- Christine (6/5): Not bad, but noisy - Noisy! We got Room 223 and it was right behind the freeway street so you could hear every rip and roar of the cars and bikes. Also no blackout curtains so kind of bright in the morning.
Staff was friendly, easy check in and check out. Rooms clean.
- Deb (10/5): Relaxing & perfect location - Great check-in & out!
Room was wonderful with 1 exception. A light outside shined down on our pillows ( the curtain was closed.
We plan on return next year & will plan on staying at the Snoozzz Inn
- Mackenzie (10/5): - Great little place, clean and friendly staff.
- Edith (8/5): - This hotel is an old motel which has been newly purchased, brought up to modern standards, and opened. Our experience was much like a shake-down voyage on a new cruise ship. Everything was shiny and new, freshly painted, and up-to-date. Enough ports and outlets, new shower installation, new and very comfortable mattresses. HOWEVER, they haven't quite gotten their act together yet. The first night we stayed there, we got back at the hotel after 11 pm, only to find some other guests locked out of their room -- their key card, which had worked earlier in the evening, was no longer working. The office is not staffed at night. A number is posted on the door in case guests need assistance, but when called, the voicemail was full. We tried everything we could think of, including texting and emailing the hotel, and waving at the security cameras. Approaching midnight, I gave up, leaving the locked-out guests to fend for themselves. The next time we stayed at the hotel, we had some minor problems (the refrigerator was set too cold and froze our milk and produce, we couldn't get the air conditioner to come on and were uncomfortable all night), and I wanted to tell the staff about them before we left so the problems could be resolved before the next guests stayed in that room. Check-out time is 11, and when we left at 10:30, the office was closed -- nobody was there. At this point, we decided we would cancel our reservation for our next stay. We just did not feel secure anymore.
- Warren (10/5): - Check in staff was great. They helped explain the air handler and the cable TV, one of the connections had worked its way loose. The room was nice and clean. The only complaint was the noisy icemaker outside. And there was a decent amount of road noise
- Jeannie (10/5): - We loved staying at
- Tim (10/5): - greets
- Liz (10/5): - Great place, we loved it
- David (8/5): - Clean affordable Lodging actually was much better than the Holiday Inn. We were staying at and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I give them five stars. She recommended eating at the lost coast brewery which proved to be one of the best eateries on the Pacific Northwest Coast.
- Virginia (6/5): - Door locked was not working and smells like paint.
- Marna (6/5): - Property was in decent shape, newly renovated, price was right and the location is ideal for those traveling through and need a last minute place to stay. My biggest complaint is the noisy street corner.
- Robert (8/5): - The t v didn’t work well. Kept going into buffering mode. Ended up not watching any tv. The front desk staff were very professional
- Adrienne (6/5): - The Snoozzz Inn is a revamped property as of summer 2025. Dichotomy of old and new; the showers are sparkling and spacious but the carpet is filthy and worn. The beds were comfortable, the pillows were not. There is no blackout curtain and zero soundproofing, might as well be sleeping in a tissue box. I would stay again if I had to, but I wouldn't seek it out.
- Sonia (8/5): - Internet was weak , Bathrooms were new, hotel staff were very friendly.
- Hannah (4/5): - Front desk and management were very responsive and friendly, which was great! They made check in and out very easy. However overall, pictures did not match what we saw upon arrival. The carpet was dirty, countertops were smudged and felt sticky, the floor tile was also smudged and dirty. My sister and I felt quite itchy in the room, most likely because of dust. Would have enjoyed the stay if it wasn't dirty.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Immaculate rooms and friendly service. The parking lot also felt safe, with lots of cameras. I'd happily stay there again.
- Armando (10/5): - The room was clean and the hotel itself is very aesthetically pleasing. Much better than the standard options. Highly recommend.
- Steve (8/5): - Good price for the room.
- daniel (8/5): - Person who checked us in was great although I forget his name. Hotel was great area is ok.
- Amanda (4/5): - Convenient location. But very noisy and our curtain didn't close all the way and were ripped so no privacy and light shine though and you could hear everything (people, cars, traffic, car base). The desk and dresser had some weird sticky finish on it that was coming off and had scratches all over the surfaces.
- Kimberly (10/5): - Quiet, clean
- Amy (2/5): - We checked in and they gave us keys to an occupied room. We literally walked in on people already in that room! We went to the desk to report this. We were given a new room, upon pulling down the bed sheets there was hair in the “clean” bed sheets. We left the hotel and had a difficult time getting a refund from the manager. The manager, Misty, was nice on the phone but took forever to get the refund approved. We had to escalate the situation to her boss to get the refund approved several days afterward.
- Ken (8/5): - We really liked the location and ease of check in. Room was well appointed. Bed comfortable but bedding thin and spread was not very soft quite itchy. Overall a good stay!
- Brian (8/5): - Correct the wifi
- Danny (10/5): - Very nice remodel of a older motel
- John (8/5): - The area around the property is a bit sketchy. The property is nice. I felt safe once inside. Appears to be a neighborhood in transition.
- David (10/5): - Clean,big,friendly staff
- George (4/5): - This property is one of the noisiest I have ever stayed at. Traffic noise was constant and included everything that entails! Property is located at the "shores" of Hwy 101, so I should have expected it. Even with my noise machine running loudly and along with the air conditioner, I was being constantly awakened by loud mufflers, revving motorcycles and car horns blaring. Never again.
- C (6/5): - Newly renovated, but in a scuzzy part of town and beside the highway. They are still working at the kinks. I would suggest putting a luggage rack in every room and potentially complementary earplugs to drown out the highway noise. Also ensure
- Michael (10/5): - Great room at a great price. Reception was very warm and friendly; the room was like new after a total restoration. Would have preferred a walk-in shower, but the tub was new and had a curved shower curtain rod for greater space. Parking was convenient and we would go out of our way to stay again. A definite 9 out of 10.
- ROBERT (8/5): -
- Carl (10/5): - Room was very clean, though my reservation said I had a kitchenette and I only got a room with a fridge and not even a microwave. But no complaints, staff was friendly and it is a great location. The construction had things kinda messed up.
- Damian (8/5): - I liked the location, cleanliness and the stff. The only problem was that the room was loud. Car traffice, ice maker, outaide noises while not a deal breaker were annoying.
- Angela (10/5): - The room was spacious and clean. Everything was brand new.
- THOMAS (8/5): - The lady who checked us in navigated problems they were having with their WiFi in the building they had originally put us in, and she gave us an easily accessible room as we had asked for. She was very friendly and helpful. The actual motel is all newly renovated and nice. The surrounding area isn’t so nice. Traffic noise was an issue at times, and lots of homeless people wandering around.
- Raili (2/5): - The property was advertised as a new hotel that was just opened a few weeks, yet when we got to our room, the furniture & fixtures were very dated, even the carpet was old. It smelled musty and old and dirty. I booked a room with a kitchenette and had to pay double the price of a regular room but the frustrating part is that the kitchen amenities were below par and almost unusable. The fridge was old and didn’t have door shelving. There were no proper kitchenware and utensils. There wasn’t even any dish soap, dishwashing sponge nor any dish towels. I had to ask for those to be provided and we didn’t get them till a day later with the dish towels unwashed - came straight from store with tags still on it. The dinnerware didn’t match and looked like they were from a thrift store. On top of that, it was so NOISY that I couldn’t sleep well because the street noise was so bad. The window type air conditioning was also loud and old. So no respite there. Needless to say, it wasn’t a good experience especially with the price we paid. Parking was also very tight.
The only good thing I can say about the hotel was the staff. Misty the manager was very helpful and did what she could under the circumstances. But I would NOT recommend this hotel.
- Brian (8/5): Enjoyable stay at the Snoozzz Inn - We enjoyed our stay at the Snoozzz Inn. The room was so cute and retro modern. Very comfortable and clean. Check in was easy and we we able to park right next to our room. It was very quiet inside our room and we felt very safe. The area seems a little sketchy, though, and we didn't feel too comfortable walking around the neighborhood. It's on a busy street which is noisy, but we didn't hear it at all inside our room. We would definitely stay here again.
- Rebecca (4/5): - Very very noisy
Motorcycle guests revving motors near midnight and beyond
- Bob (6/5): - Great clean, apparently new construction room. Good price. Property secure.
Dead bolt didn’t work, noisy room (117) was against a busy street and windows had no sun shade so was very bright early morning. Internet service was poor.
- troy (10/5): - This is a really nice place to stay. It’s Newley remodeled and really clean. Our tv wasn’t working so the manager drove from her house just to get it working.
- Angel (10/5): Nice place to stay - Hotel is being renovated. Eventually adding a restaurant. All the rooms in our building are new. No construction noise when we stayed. It is well located with food options a short walk or drive nearby. The only negative I could think of is the exit/ entrance. It is hard to see to exit the hotel, hopefully they add an exit on the other side which would make it so much easier ( they have it fenced off at the moment). Old town is a short drive away.
- Jerald (10/5): - Facility completely renovated. Rooms are great as they are brand new.
- Theresa (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was so clean and newly renovated. The service was terrific, Misty at the front desk was so welcoming and friendly. She gave us options for a great dinner and we even got to meet the owner. We would definitely stay here again!
- Lyle (6/5): So so - Not what was expected … not modern at all. Young man at the front desk who was new to the job was awesome!!
