Guest Reviews
- allison (10/5): - Parking was rough with all the construction. But enjoyed the updated room, the coffee options in room, the bed, and the easy check in! The room was a bit on the small side- but I was really only there to sleep. Easy to get to BSU and everything else we needed for the weekend!
- Cassie (4/5): - After several hours of driving, I arrived at this hotel. Parking is horrible, tight, and parts are under construction. I received no email about how to check-in and no one was there. I had to call the number and it kept rounding through the options, even though I selected one. I finally got someone and they were annoyed. I was able to get code to get into the room (contactless check-in) and there were several bugs in the room due to coming in at night. The rooms are clean. Parking is terrible and if you have a bigger car then it is hard to navigate. I will not be returning. I also didn’t receive checkout information either.
- Jesse (10/5): - Nice location for trying multiple breweries and wineries.
- John (10/5): - The room was clean and well-appointed. Everything worked as it should. Parking is easy and convenient.
- Rodolfo (10/5): - Clean rooms excellent place
- Kimberley (8/5): Compact, but comfortable - I'm in my mid-70's. So initially I panicked when I got to my unit and realized it was a bit of a self-service situation. No staff on hand; no keys. But the instructions for the keyless entry were clear. The space is small - but the minimalist, eco-friendly style is highly functional and cozy.
- Matthew (10/5): - Quick and easy
- JUNIOR (10/5): - Best place i have been to in a while, parking is fcfs and not truck friendly. Never been to a hotel with pass code entry to room so that was a bit of a surprise but help was very responsive. 5 stars indeed, very top notch!!!!
- Courtney (10/5): - The room was super cute and clean! We had a great stay!
- Richard (10/5): - Reception person was fantastic!
- Sarin (10/5): - I loved the room entry system, without having to register or check in at a lobby.
- David (10/5): - Really awesome place to stay! Like the online check in!
- Will (10/5): - The parking area leaves a bit to be desired, but overall the property and atmosphere of the courtyard and ambiance overall are good. The room i stayed in was very modern and had plenty of extra pillows and fantastically soft extra blankets.
- Kellan (10/5): - Hotel was great! Check in was easy and everything was very nice and clean.
- KATHLEEN (10/5): - Very nice place. Restaurants and wine bars close by.
- Robert (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay at the Arcadia. It was our first experience with contactless check in/out, and it was great. I enjoyed the contactless check in very much, but will admit I do like checking in with someone when leaving.
- Derel (10/5): - Perfect
- Terry (10/5): - Love the contactless check in. Rooms are very clean and remodeled well. I will stay again in the future.
- Shannon (6/5): - Yes On a busy road
- patricia (10/5): - I am so glad I stayed at the Arcadia Hotel. I did a staycation in Boise and Garden City is perfect and this hotel meets the vibe perfectly. Such nice staff, easy and convenient 'touchless' check in and key pads, clean and safe and free parking. Highly recommend!
- Brandon (10/5): Great place! - It was a great place to stay. And I would stay here again. Many great restaurants too. Ask the people there!
- Karen (10/5): - This place reminded me of a European place Modern, small but efficiently laid out. Didn’t have any contact with staff but room was spotless and very nice shower. Coffee bar and hairdryer so all I needed for a brief stay. Would definitely recommend. Only down side is on a major road so a little noise until late
- paulina (8/5): - awesome
- shane (8/5): - I liked the ease of access to get into the room since we came in late. It was odd not having staff onsite but it was acceptable. The room was nice but the chain lock was busted. It fell off the door. The main door lock worked just fine. Leaving we did receive multiple texts about check out time at 10am
- Gene (10/5): - Nice place to stay. Newly renovated, and very inviting.
- Teresa (10/5): - This hotel is a hidden gem! Super clean and the room was spacious and very cute with the design. Would definitely recommend!
- Josh (10/5): - Highly impressed with this hotel! Newly remodeled/built, super clean, beautiful rooms, great service. Best value you can get staying in the Boise area! 10/10 Recommend!
- Daniel (2/5): Disappointing - No freezer in mini fridge, one tiny trash can in bathroom, no TV available and only streaming avilable if i personally pay for them, have a very thin latch that doeant look secure which makes you feel like you are not safe, the worst parking situation I have ever seen at a motel.
- Colin (4/5): - The touchless checkin sucks. The room entry and office codes were INCORRECT. Had I arrived 45 minutes later I would not have been able to get into my room or the office. The lack of service isn't worth the savings. I would not recommend this place.
- Avelina (10/5): Nice and quiet - Amazing
- Valerie (10/5): - Great stay. Nice patio out back with a fire pit!
- Cameron (2/5): - We asked for an early check in and had to pay $40 and then the code they gave us for the door didn’t work and there’s no one on property to help so we had to call. It took them a long time to get us a number to use so we could get in. By the tube we got in it was 40 min after the extra time we had paid for to get on the room. Then my son had the exact same issue with his room. There was also a rancid see smell they seemed to be masking but it wasn’t working so our room smelled. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
- Annie (10/5): - Everything
- Rex (10/5): - Staff, clean room, parking covered. Newly refurbished. So still Needs an installed antenna for local TV.
- Leon (10/5): - Stylish place and great bathroom. Also a fridge, coffee amd tea
- Alice (10/5): - Excellent for a one night stay. Very clean. Easy self check in
- Gene (10/5): - What a cool place to stay. Clean and modern. Simplicity and very friendly staff.
The Arcadia Hotel is the way to go!
- jennifer (10/5): - Loved this place! Super clean and easy to check in and out. Parking is a bit hard if you have a big truck like us but we made it work.
- rick (10/5): - very comfortable, great staff and excellent location!
- Ric (10/5): Ric A - Great staff and very welcoming. Recommend to everyone. Great concept for late night arrivals.
- kimberly (8/5): - I found out you have to put a sign on the door handle if you want them to come in and replace the creamers and tea and my room didnt come with one of those signs . There is no one in the office after 5p which kinda sucks and there is no explanation on how to use the keypad but I figured it out . I watched 2 older people struggle with it until another guest helped them . The road in front is a 4 lane road with lots of traffic . The owner called me after I posted on FB about how rude the on call person was which was nice . It's also not as close to the airport as I thought it would be . All in all it was mostly clean (I found something nasty under the bedside table ) and a good place to stay if you dont expect much .
- Kristen (8/5): - Very nice property! Having a busy road right there makes for some noise but overall wasn’t bad! Nice room and helpful staff.
- Eryn (8/5): - Staff very nice and helpful plus cool decor. Loved the outdoor games for guests. Conveniently located. Off a busy road and early check out but overall would recommend and stay there again.
- Randall (8/5): - Hotel good for short stay. Rooms are ok -clean. Some noise. Much more of a motel versus a hotel
- José (8/5): - Very practical and easy access
- Tyler (6/5): - It's in an OK area, in an up-and-coming area of Boise. It's all check-in service via your phone, which is fine until there's an issue. It forces you to call a phone number if you run into any issues and you speak with a customer service representative off-site (likely in a different country). So the customer service situation could be better. The room is clean but very very small.
- Clifford (10/5): - Quick easy check in. Room was very clean. Would recommend.
- Mark (10/5): - Super clean!!
- Katie (6/5): - Our room was fine. Bed was kind of hard. Nice shower. Not the greatest area and it was very noisy. Street niose, noise from other guests. And lots of shaking.....likely due to the hotel being elevated.
- Tim (8/5): - The room my husband stayed in was small but perfect for a solo traveler. The contactless check in and out was seamless and efficient.
The shower was spacious and luxurious!
The only downside was the "closet" in his room was three hangers on hooks on the wall. Had we been traveling together and needing to hang clothes, we would not have been able to easily.
- A (10/5): - Room was clean.
- Richard (10/5): - First time doing a contactless checkin, all hotels should work this way. You book the room online and they give you a pin to open the door. No waiting to checkin!
- Damon (10/5): CLEAN, COMFY, GREAT LOCATION - The staff here were very accommodating and super friendly. This newly renovated hotel was very comfortable and clean and had a refreshingly NEW sense of style. Great location and very safe…would definitely recommend.
- Steven (8/5): - The Arcadia Hotel was a good stop for one night in the Boise area. The bed was comfortable. It had very minimal amenities - no fridg or microwave. Parking was a struggle. When we arrived there were no spots left. All the rooms are on the 2nd floor, and it's self check in.
- Piper (8/5): - This was an excellent hotel. Loved the self checkin option. Room was nicely updated and pristine clean.
There was a surprising amount of noise from the person next door. Some creaking. Seemed odd.
There was minimal options for parking for a large/tallish truck. Only 2 spots that were not located under the building. We lucked out and got one even after leaving for dinner but could have been problematic with all of our gear inside for parking on the street even though it seemed like a super safe area. Never want to risk a break in.
Otherwise, a fantastic place. Highly recommend.
- BriAnne (6/5): - It was just okay.
- Lu (10/5): - They my favorite
- Calyse (8/5): - Modern and cute. Bed was comfy and the design is thoughtful. No microwave in the room we stayed in- so we couldn’t eat leftovers or anything (not a make or break, but when traveling it’s nice to have one in case.) The room door had a crack wide enough to let in a lot of bugs, so that was disappointing. Good stay overall, minus the flying stowaways!
- jared (10/5): - In comparison to how it was before the entire remodel. It was definitely top notch and very retro beautiful. You housekeeper is fantastic very helpful and friendly.
- Karen (10/5): - My first motel like this. I love the keypad and the staff was very helpful explaining everything
- Charlene (8/5): - It’s located by breweries and wineries in walking distance. Very convenient. Parking is compact it is difficult with a truck. It is located on the main road so you can hear the traffic.
- Marianne (8/5): - The room was nice and comfortable. Nice decor. The bathroom could have been bigger. There was no tub and very minimal counter space. Our main concern was lack of parking spaces with some way to tight and hard to get into.
- Mckayla (10/5): - I wanted to check in early after a long flight and the owner was so quick to get my room cleaned and ready for me to Check in early.
- LaKenya (10/5): - Very cute hotel with modern perks.
- Mariana (4/5): - Cleaning service was very bad, the area feels unsafe - maybe because there’s some sort of construction going on, limited parking, hard to get a hold of the staff. I had to take the garbage out of the room, organize dirty towels, wipe the toilet. Limited toiletries. Didn’t replenish the body soap or the Kleenex.
- Robert (2/5): - Horrible place. We arrived and there was no staff person to check us in. We hadn’t received an email that apparently had instructions. I spent an hour asking other guests how they got in and finally someone gave me a tech support tel number. The support person wanted me to email my photo ID but my phone doesn’t have a camera. Long story short I finally got in but only after a major hassle. The neighborhood is super sketchy, and traffic noise is loud. No wonder it was half the price of other hotels in the area. I think the woman hanging out below the building is a prostitute. Awful place. Stay away.
- James (10/5): Hidden gem close to Downtown Boise - Good place that’s not too far from Downtown Boise. If you can tolerate a bit of street noise in the morning you’ll be pleasantly surprised. The help that was available was extremely friendly and courteous. Would absolutely stay again!
- Eric (4/5): - Dirty towels left in bathroom. No clean towels. No onsite help after hours. Frustrating.
- Bronson (10/5): - Loved the self check-in. Very nice quality, looks newly refurbished. On the small side, but it worked well for a 1-night stay we had. Parking spots are a little tight, but we didn't have any problems. Would definitely stay here again.
- Jana (10/5): - We absolutely LOVED our stay! This historic building has such a cute retro renovation. Very mid-century modern vibes and I loved that. We walked to Bardenay for dinner and had coffee and muffins from Flourish Bakery both within walking distance of the hotel. It was very clean, quiet, and I particularly loved that you check yourself in with the door keypad so you don't actually have to talk with anyone. The onsite manager did greet us upon arrival which was super sweet and she remembered me from a private tour recently. I will definitely come back!
- SUSAN (10/5): - Easy check in
- David Neil (8/5): - Nicely renovated, stylistically nice.
Location felt a bit grimey, and semi industrial.
No one on site. Room was switched but code was not updated so could not get into the room without calling, being on hold etc.
- Miura (10/5): - Room itself was incredibly nice. Size is about perfect for a short stay for a couple. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was well put together, with a shower that had excellent water pressure and stayed hot as long as needed.
- Sarah (8/5): - Staff was friendly. Room was nice. Outside railing needs fixed.
- Allison (10/5): - Convenient location in Garden City near restaurants and the urban wineries. Contactless check-in was simple and convenient. Good water pressure and lighting in the bathroom. I’d stay here again.
- Andrew (10/5): - Staff is fantastic and you can tell they take pride in the place.
- Terri (10/5): - This property was newly refurbished with a cool modern vibe. It was super clean with all the basics of what you need. It's not overly fancy but that is reflecting in the price. It's perfect for a single night or a week. We met the owners in the parking lot by chance and she wanted to make sure to let her know if we needed anything. Also recommended a great restaurant we could walk to and saw them later eating dinner there as well. Talk about standing behind recommendations! I would stay again anytime.
- Suanne (10/5): - It was a lovely stay! Thank you
- julie (8/5): - The property and room was very clean and updated. The traffic noise wasn’t great during morning rush hour. I liked the no check-in convenience. They sent me the lock code via email. The location was convenient. It was just a quick overnight stay on a road trip so the price and cleanliness was just what we needed. It would have gotten 5 stars except for the traffic noise.
- Peter (4/5): - Getting in and out of parking was a joke. Such narrow turnways.
The 35 mph street becomes a drag strip with the loudest vehicles I have ever woken up to.
- John (10/5): - The room was super clean and well appointed. The bathroom was also very clean and the hot water seemed endless. Noise from Chinden can be a bit much in the mornings (starting around 5:30). If you're a light sleeper, I'd bring earplugs. Parking was a little tight with my rental Yukon, but not unmanageable. I'd stay here again.
- Tim (10/5): - Ffhh
- William (10/5): - Great location for my overall stay
- Tara (10/5): - Cute place! Gray stay!! Will definitely be back.
- Sophia (6/5): - Nice modern design and a clean property overall. The room was simple yet elegant, but lacked a microwave (in non-queen rooms), full-length mirror, and light dimmers. Parking was limited—we had to park on the street. These things might not be dealbreakers for everyone but for me they were notable.
Hospitality needs work. Our room wasn’t properly cleaned, and when I asked the front desk, I was told to track down housekeeping myself. Loud music at 9 a.m. made it hard to sleep in, and check-out at 10 a.m. felt too early—especially with a 4 p.m. check-in.
Has potential, but service and amenities could be improved.
- Rebecca (2/5): - This is essentially a human-less property, there is no front office, no onsite anything which I guess is the new fashion. The cleaning staff were wonderful and if I could rate the individuals I would give them 6 stars because they are indeed actually human and available when you can find them.
All issues go through a call center and is managed by a 3rd party out of the Bay Area, you need to have your cell phone on you if you leave the room so if you accidentally get locked out, too bad, you’re sleeping somewhere else!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Modern technology not always better. - Pros: Clean, modern, within walking distance to Riverwalk, easy parking, quiet, self check in was "mostly" easy.
Cons: You need to press the "yale" circle on the keypad to get it to light up. Not being familiar with keypads it took luck for us to figure this out. We never did understand the a/c. Lowest it goes is 66. Then all of a sudden the heat will go on?? Kept waking up because it was blowing hot air on us. Didn't even attempt to use the clock on the bedstand which needed to be reset. Small space. Has all the necessities but felt confined. Was ok for our one night stay but not comfy for a longer stay for 2 people. One person alone would be ok.
Walked to a great Italian restaurant on the riverwalk and also had drinks/chips at the Mexican restaurant next door. Both were very good!
- Heather (10/5): - I recently stayed at the Arcadia Hotel in Boise, and it was an absolute delight. From the moment I stepped into the lobby. I was struck by the exquisite décor and thoughtful touches throughout the hotel. The Arcadia perfectly blends modern elegance with a classy, welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are beautifully designed, with plush furnishings and all the amenities you could ask for. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. If you’re looking for a luxurious experience in Boise, the Arcadia Hotel is the place to be!
- Mike (10/5): - Clean, simple but extras you would not expect at the price. Door code is great convenience.
- Scott (10/5): - The absolutely easiest check-in process ever
- Amos (10/5): - This hotel was a perfect stop for a one night stay. It's in the heart of Garden City right across the street from some fun bars and wineries and tasty eats. The room, although a little small, had everything I could possibly need for my stay and was extremely clean and comfortable. The shower had great soaps and lotions and even though it was right off a busy street the sounds from outside were very minimal.
I would totally stay here again and recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable, clean, friendly place to stay close to the heart of Boise's city center for a weekend in town or a night passing through. This was a great spot and so happy to see how well the renovated the space that it used to be!
