- Dereck (10/5): - Hands down the best stay we have ever had. Populus Hotel has no limit when it comes to quality! Not only do they supply their hotel with top of the line linens and furnishings but their customer service goes beyond measure. They opened in May of 2025 and by September they were making improvements on their HVAC system. Our room was not cooling and we immediately had maintenance in the room . They were unable to immediately resolve the issue and while we were out grabbing lunch, they moved our packed bags to another room. I had forgot to pack a couple items out of the shower and when we called from the baseball game to tell them we immediately received a text they had taken the items to our room. They did not stop there they put them in a small bag along with a beautiful gift. Conveniently located near the stadium’s and pubic transport. Wonderful espresso and charming restaurants and reading room all on site. Truly blessed by our stay there!! No words!
- Vivian (10/5): Birthday weekend getaway - Birthday weekend trip. Caught a Mariners game and it was an easy walk to the hotel after. Incredibly clean and the aesthetic was lovely. So charming and cozy. We slept wonderfully the bedding is wonderful. Shower was spacious and bathroom beautifully designed. Checking out was easy and the complimentary coffee at the cafe upstairs was a nice touch to start our day.

The negative was that we stayed Friday and Saturday night, at about 9 pm, a club across the street begins to fill with a line down the street. It is VERY loud. Then muscle type cars start down the streets right by the hotel and they gun their engines over and over until as late as 2 a.m. It was VERY loud in the rooms. The hotel told us that this is a problem, they are working on trying to make the rooms more sound proof, in the interim they gave us ear plugs. We did not get much sleep on Friday night. Saturday night was loud but got better around 11:30 or midnight.

- william (8/5): - Wonderful hotel, beautiful remodel and the "feel" is very high-end boutique. Valet is not well sorted - $80 per night and had multiple issues retrieving vehicle. Room service is not available so if you want to eat elsewhere (since you need to leave your room anyway) venturing out is not easy due to valet. Overall a wonderful stay, beautifully updated and a great weekend away hotel. However, if you want more traditional amenities, look at other luxury hotels for the same price.

My husband and I came to watch the Seahawks vs. 49ers game and chose this hotel because of the amazing location to the stadium. It was literally a two min walk from the front door of the hotel to the front of the stadium! Our experience was something to remember, this was our first time to Seattle, and the front desk person (Christian, awesome employee!) upgraded us to a beautiful king size corner room because we were first time guests to the city and the hotel. We were also gifted breakfast the next day because of small mishap the night before. The staff were very attentive and so helpful from bringing us hotel extras, to getting us transportation, to sharing personal experiences with us making us feel welcome and at home. I’m so in love with this hotel that if we ever come back to Seattle for another football game, this is the place we will be staying ❤️ Thank u Seattle Populus for amazing memories!!

- Eric (6/5): New Hotel Needs Time to Get Act Together - This is a brand new hotel. The team really needs to get their act together -- they behave like they've never had to do their basic tasks (e.g., check in) before. Also, the room layouts are weird. I would not repeat.

- jeff (6/5): Solid stay, great room. - One of the better rooms in Seattle, spacious and well appointed. That said, it can be noisy. The room next door was ragging past midnight which made sleep more difficult. I finally banged on the wall and it stopped. You can also hear the street and if there is any pro sports game the reveling is noticeable. I would say to stay here and just not in a room that faces the street. I’ll be back and make adjustments but this is my new hotel for Seattle after 10 years of trying all the downtown places. The drip coffee was better than average as well.

The bar down the street is SUPER noisy and it goes til 2am so would recommend asking for a higher up room if you’re a light sleeper. The area is a little unsafe fairly close by. We were there for one night to go to a football game so it was good for us.

- Autumn (10/5): - Populus Seattle is an EXCELLENT stay located in the Pioneer Square neighborhood of Seattle. While Populus opened in Spring 2025 and is extremely clean and hip, the hotel is set in a structure originally built in 1907, which adds a unique vibe to the space. The entrance really unites you with the outdoor space of the PNW as you pass by trees and plants in the entrance of the hotel and foyer. There is a nature library, which we stopped into each morning and enjoyed while sipping the amazing tea and coffee they offer guests. The front desk was amazing, as well as valet. Our room was awesome- with extremely hip vibes. It was much more than a place to lay our heads at night, but allowed us to feel connected with the area. Extremely clean, beautiful room with clean bathroom attached. The hotel is located in walking distance of multiple restaurants, bars, shops, activities/sights. Additionally, Seattle was extremely bike friendly, of which we took advantage! Parking was valet and had no issue. Front desk attendant hailed us a cab one day, which we were super appreciative of! Would definitely recommend this hotel!
- Anais (10/5): - Loved the populus would stay again. Valet parking was a little pricey. Like the option of the restaurant and bar rooftop. Up hill walk to pikes place. Have a nice walk in historic old town Seattle. Great distance from a lot of tourist attractions and also you can zip up to the coast or national parks as well
- Michael (10/5): - We found a stay-cation hotel that we will absolutely come back to. Everything - the rooftop bar, restaurant, room, and lobby - was perfect!
- NADYA (4/5): - Frontal desk person did not mention security deposit and what is amount of the deposit, instead asked for "authorization signature. So, I signed without knowing for what amount. Next, I ordered taxi for 5 30 am to airport. It did not come.Person from frontal desk let me know that it oicked up somebody e km so in diffwrent place. So, I had to order 2nd time. As a result it arrived at 5 48am instead of 5:30. Next, front desk peson at the begining rejected to pick up my cases from the room to the lobby even for tip. He was agree only when I asked him second time.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The hotels looks very beautiful and the staff was very attentive but they are navigating active newborn hiccups. The room was tiny… which is fine, it took them several tries to bring up a bottle of bubbles that had been pre-ordered and easily could have been inside the room prior to check-in. The bar was beautiful and made great drinks. The food was satisfactory although my hasselback potato was not cooked through. As a constant traveler the thing that matters most to me is attention to detail. I left my fancy electric toothbrush in the bathroom, it was never recovered. I alerted them within hours of leaving but no avail. I think they will get there but until then I will stick with my tried and true Seattle spots.

- Jody (8/5): - This is a beautiful property. The reason I did not give it a 5 star overall is as follows: the rooms are beautiful but need more lighting, especially the bathrooms. The staff, in general is excellent. We had dinner at the Salt Harvest. The bill (as do many Seattle locations I learned during this trip) included a 20% tip. My friend was paying and did not notice the line item and gave them a 25% tip in addition to the one all ready included. She was not happy later when she looked at the bill later. Lastly, when we arrived our vehicle was stuck out in the street for 15+ minutes as there was not enough space for multiple guest to arrive at the same time. I want to reiterate other than my friend's disappointment with our food server, the staff was excellent.

- Madelaine (10/5): - We stayed at the Populus Seattle for the weekend to go to a baseball game and ended up loving it so much we decided to extend an extra night! I cannot recommend the hotel enough. The inside bar is incredible, as is the bar on the roof! They’re still working out some kinks in the restaurant but they took ownership of the delays and comped our entire meal which was more than appreciated! Valet was also a bit slow to bring our car but nothing too inconvenient. I will now stay here every time I visit Seattle.

- Samantha (2/5): - I am unhappy with how the staff treated me and my guest. We were very respectful and nice. When we first arrived we were not dressed to impress since we were in a car all day so they looked at us differently. Then they told me i can arrive early to get into a room earlier when one was avaliable, they never let me know when a room was available until the last minute after me reminding them multiple times. I still have not yet received my refund for the deposit fee of $100 dollars, there was definitely no damage to the room, everything was left as is. Its been almost a month and still waiting. For the price of this hotel for one night is not worth it. I am very unhappy. I was very excited to stay here but it got ruined by the receptionist sadly. Also still waiting on my refund. I wjll not be staying here again or recommending.

- Susan (10/5): - This is a beautiful hotel! We will absolutely stay here again!! Do not hassle with a rental car & notorious Seattle traffic & expensive parking if you’re in town for a ball game or to explore Seattle. It’s within Easy walking distance to King St Station (Amtrak) 5 minutes, light rail to the airport 8-10minutes. Close to both Stadiums, walkable, 5-15 minutes, and to the Seattle waterfront too! Everything is new as of May 2025 so the bed & linens are pristine & top quality. The staff is friendly & helpful. The rooftop bar is fantastic! Our room was the least expensive, small but pleasant & quiet, it was a one night stay so a non issue.The internet is fast, the room has a small refrigerator, a kettle & a pour over coffee bag or tea for morning pre breakfast wake up. There is a good coffee shop and a highly rated restaurant on site. I love Pioneer Square & the history there, it was very clean & no street people around this trip. It is a working waterfront & railway district, a few bars, restaurants & nightlife, you do need to be aware of your surroundings, especially at night, that’s also part of its history, check it out!

- Monty (10/5): - Perfect place to stay if you are going to a game. T-Mobile, Lumen Field & the waterfront are all within walking distance. Our room was clean & comfortable. All the furnishing were new & the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Finally, the staff were all awesome - excellent service. We will definitely return to the Populus.

It’s an easy and safe 4 minute walk from the Amtrak station and a short walk to the waterfront/ferry terminal and Pikes Place, so it was fun to explore the area on foot. Public transportation was very nice and close by. The walk to the international district was a bit dodgy. I didn’t dine at the hotel restaurant but enjoyed the rooftop bar (nice vibe & view). I found awesome dining options close by. Room cost was higher than what I usually pay, but I would consider staying again if I arrived via Amtrak.

- Megan (10/5): - The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The security in the elevator was comforting knowing that only people staying on that same floor could select that floor. The entire place was so clean and quiet. The room was perfect and had all the amenities that we needed. It was just missing a bathroom fan!
- Alexander (10/5): - Very friendly and accomodating hotel staff from the valet who meets you at the entrance to the folks at the front desk. Everyone was super helpful and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Brand new facility with tasteful, comfortable rooms. Proximity to attractions. Some noise when stadium events let out but otherwise quiet and relaxing. Valet parking in an adjacent, safe, well organized facility.
