Guest Reviews
- Terry (10/5): - We were so surprised! The room was a brand new unit with a nice little balc
- Elena (2/5): - This was the worst experience I’ve ever had using Hotels.com. As a single female traveler, I spent a lot of time researching a safe place where I could rest during a long drive. Instead, I arrived at the GPS location only to find no sign of the property at all.
After several frustrating calls—one went to a property management office that was already closed—I finally reached another hotel’s front desk. Only then did I learn that they were handling check-in for this place. (Much later I found a separate email with instructions, but I never saw it in time since I was on the road.None of these details were shared in the actual App)
The front desk explained that the property was brand new, partially under construction, and that I would be the only guest on-site. I was shocked. Following their directions, I drove through an unfinished building site in total darkness until I reached a cluster of bungalows with no lights, no staff, and no security. As a woman traveling alone, it felt extremely unsafe.
I didn’t even get out of the car. Instead, I immediately contacted the property to decline the room and booked a nearby motel where I felt safe.
- Michael (10/5): - Brand new unit with private patio with unobstructed view of Pacific Ocean. Very modern and clean furnishings.
- Cathy (10/5): Nice ocean views - We actually stayed at the Pacific Reef property because the property wasn’t ready yet. We stayed in one of the condos that overlooked the ocean and it was really nice. You can easily walk down to the beach. Would definitely stay here again.
