- trevorsK2646HB (10/5): Amazing stay - Great visit and stay at this hotel. Stayed while going to a function at the CBS. Very good location everyone welcoming and accommodating. Would highly recommend
- TGR2014 (10/5): Good peaceful night . Staff are very good here - Stayed at this hotel quite a few times as I travel regularly to Nuneaton. Just wanted to say how good the service is in the pub next door. Both at breakfast and dinner the ladies go out of their way to look after the guests. You never wait at the door which I hate. Service with a smile .
Check in was also exceptional. The lady cares
- Explore52289186840 (10/5): Great Experience as Always with Premier Inn - A very nice lady was in the reception, who helped me change my room when I asked immediately with no delay and afterwards she asked if there was any particular reason. I always choose Premier inn whenever am in the UK and had never disappointed me !
- dhavasivaram (10/5): Good stay - Good stay good location good atmosphere good room good cleanliness good service good amenities low noise level good value it was good experience
- NorthStar03984680953 (6/5): Business visit - Felt very welcoming when checking in on 11th The only problem I had was the bar was advertised as being open till 10.30 but the doors was closed at 9.50 so could not get any drinks
- ashleighc945 (10/5): Great escape to Premier Inn - Great night in at Premier Inn.
Slept really well, bed was comfy.
Easy to get to from the motorway.
Peaceful place to read.
- C5556OTaurorat (10/5): Location to activities and Motorway is excellent! The hotel and restaurant provides very good value - Excellent location to the retail therapy outlets, Ricoh Arena and the Showcase cinema and easy access to the Motorway.
FOOD EXPERIENCE;
Exceedingly good value. The quality of food and service under Pranav and his team has improved since our last visit. The chef provided us with a tasty Thai green vegetable with (chicken) curry and Katsu burger.
HOTEL EXPERIENCE:
We have stayed here as a family and as a couple. The service has never wavered in terms of good quality and customer services.
The rooms are clean, comfortable and the large king size bed gave us restful nights.
Nathan in the Reception team was courteous, helpful and effective in sorting out a couple of minor issues.
- stevenrD3945IH (10/5): Excellent Staff - This is a standard Premier Inn with Clean and well-laid-out Rooms.
The standout feature of this Hotel is the Staff, who were all very Helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble.
It also has a lift, Air conditioning and good accessibility
The only minor point was the small TV, although I was able to connect my TV stick easily.
The Restaurant was quiet during our stay, but this meant the Staff were attentive and the food was always hot, of good quality, and there was no waiting around for refills of the Breakfast Buffet.
- Departure17615982672 (10/5): Lovely 3 night break ! - We had a lovely 3 night break at this hotel. The rooms were clean but a little dated with no USB sockets & a TV so small my husband said they should have provided binoculars ! The staff, however, were great - always smiling , very friendly & helpful. We enjoyed the breakfasts & the meals in the restaurant every night . There was plenty of choice & the food was always hot and nicely cooked. It's a shame that there were never many customers now that the restaurant is only open to residents. There is plenty of parking (still free at the moment) & there are lots of places in the area which are worth a visit. I would definitely recommend this one.
- bustamove5678 (10/5): Friendly premier inn! - Needed a night away from the builders in the house. Booked this premier inn with low expectations. However encounter very friendly staff. And a night with air conditioning what a pleasure in the heat.
Had a great breakfast in the morning, thanks premier inn!
- L9228WVpeters (4/5): Premier Inn could do better - Tired hotel! Tv screen the size of a laptop and picture quality lousy. £177 for the night!!!! if the quality of the establishment is lower than your other hotels prices should reflect this. WI FI as usual poor which is why i use other hotels when I can on business. Air con was good.
- kamikazebingo (10/5): Nice little Hotel in Ansty - Lovely little hotel, stopped here on our way to Liverpool for Springsteen. Very clean, comfortable, nice little pub. The best Premier Inn breakfast we've ever had, as was freshly cooked. Shame it's been sold on by Premier Inn, staff very nice and would've stayed again.
- susanclarke5040 (10/5): Great restaurant - Rooms were very much Premier Inn. However staff were very friendly and courteous. We had breakfast in the restaurant next door and it was spotless! The lady serving us was so lovely and chatty and she said she had worked there for10 yrs. Breakfast was good and very fresh.
- N5169IPmikea (10/5): Stay there again? Yes please. - Nice room, great car parking, really helpful and friendly staff.
It's on a retail park so it's not the prettiest of locations but it is extremely convenient. There's plenty of places to eat, a couple of big superstores, and a cinema all in walking distance.
I ate an evening meal there and it was both very pleasant and good value. My one regret is that I was unable to try the breakfast.
- Barney454 (2/5): Poor Room - Room not clean and smelt , reception very unwelcoming initially , Food at attached pub was good and the restaurant service was friendly and attentive , overall the HOTEL aspect was very very poor , in conclusion it was a very disappointing experience with a hotel chain i use very regularly
- Relax04028977237 (10/5): Brilliant service - The team at this hotel are fantastic. The service they provide is excellent a credit to premier inn. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We ate in the restaurant also and the team were great over there too. Yes it's a little dated but the team make up for that. Will definitely be staying here again in my next visit. We'll done everyone
- capelbond (8/5): A Pleasant Stay - First impressions are not great with peeling paint and rotten looking wood over the entrance door. At one time it must have been a motel with rooms directly accessed from the car park. There is now a narrow corridor around three sides of the quadrangle, with doors and windows looking out from the rooms. It is rather wierd watching people walk past your window in the corridor as you sit on your bed. However, it was a comfortable room and clean. The shower room was good, with a powerful shower and a tiny window you could open. That's the only one though, so I wouldn't like to be there in the heat. I slept well on a comfy bed and it was quiet. There was no more or less noise than normal in a Premier Inn corridor..The reception lady was very cheerful and welcoming. I thought breakfast was good. Although served, you were given a decent choice. It arrived hot and on a hot plate, so in many ways better than a buffet when the food is often lukewarm. So after an unpromising looking arrival, it was actually a nice place to stay and I'd use it again.
- Z7143LCbillyb (10/5): Lovely welcome after a stressful start! - After accidentally turning up at the wrong Premier Inn (side note: why are there three called Coventry East?!), I was tired, frustrated, and out of pocket. Thankfully, when I finally found the right one, I was greeted so warmly by Lesley at reception that my mood immediately shifted. She took the time to chat with me, and her kindness really made a difference.
Shortly after, I popped down to grab some snacks and Lesley was there again with another lovely team member (didn’t catch her name, sadly) — both were friendly and welcoming, which added to the positive experience.
The hotel room itself is spotless and super comfy, and the location is fantastic with loads to do nearby. Lesley even gave me some tips about what's in the area. All in all, I’m very glad I ended up at this Coventry East — definitely the best of the bunch!
- 444jeh (8/5): A perfect respite from the road. - A perfect respite from the road.
Driving solo from Scotland to London requires a break and this was just what I needed. I started with a nice long bath with my current book and continued reading through dinner next door. A gin & tonic, comfortable sleep and I was ready to finish my journey the next morning. Just the break I needed, thanks!
- E3651OEmichaelb (10/5): It's Premier, you can't go wrong - I like Premier, you know what you're going to get, and the beds...OMG! I have a bad back and I always sleep well at Premier.
I liked this one because it's all ground level, so you can open a window they're always warm at Premier! Even with the heating off, what gives:-)
- donnadU1184QR (10/5): Great place to stay . Especially with children. You have got bowling not far from the hotel giving children plenty to do - Very welcoming and nothing seemed to much trouble . The lady that checked me in went above and beyond for me and my granddaughter. It was such a lovely stay . My granddaughter didn’t want to leave 🤩. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. And recommend to my friends and family too to stay here
- 71dmitryr (4/5): Unexpectedly small rooms - Be warned the despite all the rooms having the same price and type (doubles), the actual rooms are very different and in order to get a bigger room you will probably need to put some 'virtual kids' into your booking, which does not cost you more but provides for a bigger room at the end, comparing to the crumpy back yard looking 'single occupancy doubles'
- thewhinerdiner (6/5): Overall, pretty average - I chose this hotel primarily because of its proximity to the M6. Handy for the NEC, where I was an exhibitor for a couple of days. The surrounding neighbourhood is mostly industrial estate, so it can feel a bit isolated. Other than the on-site restaurant, the nearest alternatives are at least a short drive away.
The hotel itself is pretty much what you would routinely expect from the Premier Inn brand. What was slightly discouraging was the stagnant pool of water at the entrance to the car park - alas there is no other way in - which means having to drive through an ankle-deep puddle, which is not very welcoming. Clearly there is a drainage issue which needs addressing and is only discouraging because it is clearly a lapse in standards - or at best an oversight that prompts questions on what else might have been overlooked. On the plus side, the lady on reception was helpful and welcoming, friendly without being too overfamiliar, and as a former hospitality manager myself, I appreciate that kind of old school hospitality.
All the staff were pretty much on point throughout, including in the restaurant. A pity I cannot say the same for the evening meal. I gather the restaurant next door was previously a Brewers Fayre outlet, now operating as the hotel's own eatery. It was very quiet when I visited - with only three or four other tables occupied. There was only one member of staff on duty, tending to both the restaurant and the bar apparently single-handedly. Whilst he was very courteous and efficient, the food itself was disappointing. I ordered tomato soup to start, which considering the restaurant was near empty, took ages to arrive. When it did it was barely lukewarm, and the croutons had become soggy. These are all signs that it had probably been sitting on the pass for so long it had gone cold, and the croutons had soaked well into the soup. There were far too many croutons anyway, it was wrong on pretty much every level. Truthfully, that soup should never have left the kitchen, and the fact that it was felt acceptable to serve that to a customer is very disappointing (see pictures). My server did ask me on more than one occasion of everything was OK, so top marks for doing the necessary - but I did not mention it as I was not interested in sending anything back. I had coincidentally ordered a second starter - as I am sometimes minded to do - which was the barbecue chicken wings. This was better but overwhelmed with barbecue sauce (see pictures). It was too much, and not particularly well presented. It would have been more conducive to serve the barbecue sauce on the side. My main course was the smothered chicken, which was OK but nothing special. The chicken and the cheese and bacon topping were all overcooked and too dry. Again, probably sitting under the heat lamps too long.
Conversely, my buffet-style breakfast in the same restaurant the following morning was nothing short of excellent. The young lady on duty was courteous and efficient, and the food was hot and well cooked, with a pretty good selection (see pictures). There are few places you can get such plentiful breakfast for £11, so it is pretty good value. Overall, though, the best I can say is it was pretty average.
- Getaway433630 (10/5): Best sleep ever - Staff were helpful professional and polite
Room was spotless had everything you would need for a bath or shower
Extra pillows for an excellent night's sleep bed was super comfy and covers were warm
Heating was controlled be me there for room was a good temperature
- Adventure61440459943 (10/5): Helpful staff - Lovely clean room staff on reception really helpful, they were lexie in the evening and emma in the morning.
Room was clean, shower was good, bed was comfy.
Place was easy to find and away from any road noise, simple premier inn, lots of parking available.
- Acdgrt (4/5): Needs updating - Disappointing premier inn. Needs some work doing on it.
Service was brilliant and staff tried hard but trickle beds were so inadequate. We ended up with three duvets just to make it bearable. Tv sooooo small.
Fantastic location and with a bit of updating could be Amazing.
- Tourist60424979842 (2/5): Did not get a minute of sleep - This was the worst premier inn I’ve ever stayed at.
The room was tiny and the worst quality out of any premier inn I’ve ever stayed. The radiators were turned off the entire time I was there but the room was a furnace still because the pipes going to the radiator were exposed and boiling hot constantly. There was no A/C to help with this, just a terrible big fan in the corner of the room.
There were pubic hairs around the sink and in the shower.
The restaurant had messed up orders and had less than half of the menu- they only told us this 10 mins after we paid extra for the meal deal.
The lights in the corridor being on all night meant that the rooms window (facing the corridor) let light in all night even with blackout curtains, the door also let in so much light when closed and locked.
Between sweating constantly throughout the night, the room being bathed in light all night, hearing any noise from the neighbours rooms and the poor cleaning job that was done, I did not get a minute of sleep during my stay.
I would never stay here again and it’s making me reconsider booking premier inns that I haven’t stayed in previously and know to be good.
There needs to be lots of work done to this premier inn.
- wingate (6/5): In the middle of nowhere - Not the sort of area I would chose to stay, but the fact that the restaurant was there clinched it.However one night the restaurant was closed I went to a nearby restaurant had an awful meal and drove down country lanes in the dark, which I hate.
The room was fine though I couldn't get hot water in the basin.
Breakfast was ok..It was served rather than my preference for a buffet.
- nicklinjulie (2/5): Don’t bother! - Very down at heal. When we arrived we were very disappointed at the way it looked outside with peeling paint. It didn’t get better inside. Staff on reception were lovely but the First Lady had never been there before.
Narrow corridor to the room and my room had window that looked out on the corridor so at night anyone passing could be heard quite loudly. Rooms were very small and basic. It literally took 10 minutes to get hot water to the sink. We tried the restaurant for a coffee and it smelt unpleasant. Furniture wasn’t stained and not clean. Tables were sticky and flies on the window sill. Staff very unhelpful too so much so we decided not to stay for breakfast even though we had paid. Another family member usual stays at a nearby premier inn and said you couldn’t compared it at all. We only stayed because it was near to the family celebration we had travelled up for. I have stayed at many premier inns and assumed they were all of a certain standard not this one!
- acepower84 (8/5): Wedding/Client visit - Stayed here for the first time, was very happy with the stay. Had a good nights sleep and also had breakfast on one of the mornings.
A couple of things to note. If you have a long car, the parking bays are a bit tight. The toilet was too close to the toilet door in room number 28. Also, don't bother ordering the vegan turkey/bacon rashers, taste like rubber with salt on.
- MrsJSimmons (4/5): Extra charges implemented by Premier Inn - Beware! We arrived 20 minutes before check in (from 3.00pm as stated) and were advised that if we checked in before 3.00pm it would be an extra £10 or we could go to the bar at the restaurant. Either way it was going to cost £10 so left with no option. This apparently new rule implemented by the Premier Inn is not on your booking confirmation but has been added to the Ts&Cs. If people arrive at 11.00am expecting to get into their room and not pay an additional fee for what is almost half a day i understand the need to charge but surely staff on the front desk can use their discretion with 20 minutes before check in. This is not aimed at the front of house but the hierachy at Premier Inn who want to squeeze every last bit of money out of you.
I have stayed at other major hotel chains on lots of occasions and have never encountered this issue. It is truly shocking and has put me off staying at Premier Inns in the future.
The restaurant was busy in the evening and there were clearly not enough front of house staff to cope with the demand. We experienced a long wait for someone to take our order which when it arrived was only warm.
- mikecC145BF (10/5): Great all round! - From start to finish, this was an excellent experience, as it was last year. Friendly welcome, comfortable room, firm but comfy bed too. Meal deal offered great value, main course (Smothered Chicken) highly recommended. Typical fresh and tasty breakfast. Tip top!
- Q1488DKevaa (10/5): I stayed for one night at Premier Inn Ansty the location is amazing 👏 atmosphere is very light and calm - I really like staying there the atmosphere very nice and calm. Beautiful country side on top parking is available which is 100% plus ➕️ point
- Beags68 (10/5): One of the best Premier Inns - This is one of the best Premier Inn's we have stayed in. Located about 20min drive from the NEC Birmingham. The staff were really friendly, the room was lovely, bright clean and airy. The walk-in shower was amazing hot and powerful. As always the bed was super comfy.
- 462carolt (10/5): An unexpected gem - We had to find a hotel close to the hospital where my mother was and this was the nearest that had decent food options. But we were delighted with it, super associated restaurant and lovely staff. We will probably need to visit more and this will definitely be our go-to.
- deanrV6774VW (10/5): Nice stay - Just stayed 1 night to break up the journey, receptionist was welcoming and gave my daughter cookies, beds comfy, food on site (brewers fayre so you know what to expect)
Stayed here last year too for same reason
- 824kayeh (10/5): Amazing - The best hotel we have stayed in staff were all amazing special shout out to the reception lady on the tea time shift who made sure our baby got all that was needed and went above and beyond to make our stay the best. Restaurant staff were also amazing too.
- michellekF7013KC (10/5): Great Stay! - Had a great stay the room was cozy and clean and the receptionist, Hollie, was very welcoming and bubbly on arrival and efficient when checking in which is great after a long journey. The hotel itself is in a nice quiet area and close to coombe abbey park. Would defiantly stay again.
- 163maartenm (10/5): Great place in the Midlands country - Nice hotel, friendly and help-full staff. A pub (the Sparrow) is attached to the hotel. Very nice ! Th manager of the pub, Tom, will make sure you have a great time
- Wanderer40895739325 (10/5): Excellent stay every time - The lady on reception is always exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Also the bar and waiting staff in the Brewers Fayre pub and restaurant attached. Stayed here a few times and always an excellent experience. The rooms are all so fresh and sparkling clean. Well done staff!
