We really enjoyed staying there. Nice walking distance from capri if you don’t have large luggage. For us even paying 18 euros to bring the luggage from capri port to hotel worth it. - Emanuela (10/5): Reginella di nome e di fatto - Trattasi di "piccolo hotel" per lo più a gestione familiare situato a Capri sulla strada che conduce all'Arco Naturale.Curato ed arredato nei minimi particolari sicuramente da persone molte esperte ed appassionate della propria attività.Niente è lasciato al caso: tutto è al suo posto.Superba la colazione di tipo continentale formata da squisite e numerose torte dolci e salate fragranti di giornata,formaggi e salumi vari,frutta fresca mista di stagione e spremuta di arancia fatta al momento.Il tutto servito su di una terrazza con scenografica vista sulla parte orientale dell'isola.Fanno cornice il monte Solaro ed il mare aperto.Tutto questo unito alla riservata ma piena disponibilità e gentilezza dei proprietari. Massimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo.

- Willi (10/5): Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt - einfach nur toll ! - Bin häufig in Italien, hatte aber bisher noch nie ein so gutes Frühstück wie in diesem Hotel. Sehr netter Inhaber, der einem mit Rat und Tat zur Seite steht und zudem perfekt Deutsch und Englisch spricht, auch das eine absolute Seltenheit, zumindest im südlichen Italien. Gut gelegen mit atemberaubendem Ausblick von der hoteleigenen Terasse. Unser Zimmer hatte eine eigene kleine Terasse, ein bequemes Bett, Wlan und Klimaanlage funktionieren prima. Alles mehr als sauber und gepflegt. TV allerdings, soweit ich mich erinnere, ohne Programme in deutscher Sprache. Es hat uns hier sehr gefallen, wir müssen unbedingt nochmal wiederkommen.

Disponibilità del personale per qualsiasi cosa. Camera ampia con letto comodissimo. Bagno di dimensioni enormi con vasca, televisione e comodino con poltrona. Distante dalla piazzetta 5 minuti a piedi quindi centralissimo

- Sabine (10/5): Oase auf Capri - Im La Regionella wird man von Alex nett und unkompliziert begrüßt. Die Anlage ist ein Paradis in sich. Nur um einiges zu nennen: Der wunderschöne in sich gewachsene Garten, die liebevoll gestalteten Zimmer mit kleiner bequemer Vorterrasse, ..... bis hin zum suuuuper leckeren Frühstück, mit frisch gepressten Orangensaft, Obst, Auswahl an Pikantem (Wurst, Käse, ...), vielen süßen Leckereien. Auch Infos, Auskünfte bekommt man jederzeit. Wir haben uns seeeehr wohlgefühlt. Es ist sehr zu empfehlen.

The hosts were very welcoming and the breakfast buffet was wonderful! We wished we could have stayed longer and we would definitely recommend this hotel to fellow travelers.
- Olga (8/5): Wonderful little hotel with history - The room is perfect: nicely designed, private garden, sitting area, comfortable bathroom, superb mattress and bed, spotless clean. The hotel is excellent and the view from the terrace is impresive, but all the walking uphill was a killer, even with our light carry-ons, or empty handed at night after sightseen and dinner. If you are young and well fitted it shouldn't be a problem, for us in our 60 even thou we consider ourselves to be in good shape was really difficult.

Vous pourrez ainsi profiter du calme des lieux, tout en étant à quelques minutes à pieds du coeur de ville. L aspect le plus appréciable de cet hôtel, au delà de sa situation et de sa qualité, est le niveau de service proposé par l ensemble du staff. Très agréable, à l écoute, et toujours disponible et arrangeant. Nous avons passé un excellent moment et déconseillons très largement cet hôtel.

There was a small fridge to put drinks and small grocery items in. Bottled water was provided every day. The climb to the hotel became much easier every day. The breakfast was wonderful on the patio with a beautiful view. There was also an area to lounge in the sun. Our room was kept very clean.

Camera e bagno molto ampi e comodi, ristrutturati di recente; arredamento curato e ottima pulizia. Camera dotata di una piccola veranda con tavolino, poltroncine e sedie sdraio, circondata da solarium con veduta panoramica. Aiuole molto curate. Location per la colazione è la superlativa terrazza da cui si gode un ampio e bellissimo panorama del mare e dell'isola. Ottima e puntuale accoglienza, grande disponibilità del signor Alex. Eccezione rapporto qualità-prezzo.

- Patricia (6/5): sejour a capri en famille - Tres déçu de la chambre car mur de moisi entre celle-ci et la salle de bain ainsi que le mur au pied du lit. De plus le canapé lit qui servait pour notre fille faisait un bruit de ferraille très désagréable à chaque fois qu'elle se tournait et le pied de ce canapé était limite à se refermer en deux lorsqu'elle était allongée dessus. Vu le prix de cet hotel sur cette ile cela devrait être impeccable. Prix de 344 euros chambre triple avec petit déjeuner inclus. Par-contre le responsable de l'hôtel et la femme de ménage était charmant. La terrasse a un superbe point vue au moment du pt déjeuner et ceci en est un atout.
- Fabio (10/5): Dimora Storica - Un "albergo", più precisamente pochissime camere con ingresso indipendente, giardino o resede o balcone all'interno di una bella struttura, il tutto in direzione della più bella vista dell'isola di Capri, Marina Piccola, la colazione abbondante servita sulla terrazza della bella sala arredata con mobilia dell'ottocento la quale funge da Reception. A completare il tutto sopra, un ulteriore terrazza con un'ottimo ristorante (Le Palette) annesso all'albergo. Sicuramente se uno va a sull'isola di Capri e vuole un posto esclusivo ed allo stesso tempo autentico con una struttura tipica, una vista mozzafiato e non vuole accendere un mutuo, questo credo sia il posto adatto. Dalla Piazzetta si sale 10 min. a piedi, si raggiunge l'hotel sulla strada che porta all'arco naturale, quindi si gode di tutti i vantaggi relativi a dormire vicino al centro del paese senza dover prendere mezzi pubblici sempre affollati, potendo raggiungere tutto a piedi dall'arco naturale ai Faraglioni, ai negozi del centro. Lo Staf è gentile e disponibile, dal direttore a tutte le signore del servizio. Mi sento di consigliare vivamente questa sistemazione in quanto passando circa 200 giorni all'anno in alberghi di tutti i tipi ho riscontrato un' ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Meraviglioso - Un posto meraviglioso non solo grazie ad un panorama unico e indefinibile ma anche grazie alla cortesia e gentilezza del personale. la salita per arrivare all'hotel è piacevole e non così pesante come descritta (da premettere che avevamo valigie non pesanti), la colazione è squisita e a renderla speciale è il meraviglioso terrazzo che mostra una vista forse tra le più autentiche dell'isola.
- Pedro (6/5): Casal jovem - O hotel é bem bonito e tem uma vista belíssima! A localização é péssima. Fica longe da praça central( apesar da distancia ser de 700m, é só subida) e não tem nada perto. O gerente do hotel foi super mal educado e não nos orientou quanto as bagagens. Todos os transportes só levam até a praça central e depois tem que seguir andando porém no porto existe um serviço que faz o transporte da bagagem até o hotel. Quando cheguei liguei para o hotel e perguntei a melhor forma de chegar lá. Ele não me informou do transporte e na hora de ir embora novamente falhou. Avisei cedo o horário do meu barco e quando chegou na hora de sair ele disse que estava tarde pra pedir o transporte de bagagens. Por isso não indico a ninguém este hotel!

Chambre tres propre, climatisation en état de marche ,petit espace extérieur privatif. Animaux acceptés ce qui est un plus . Très bon petit déjeuner sur le terrasse extérieure.
- Keith (4/5): Long walk up a steep hill - I stayed with my wife and son for two nights. The room was very clean and it was a decent place to stay. The view from the hotel terrace where they serve breakfast is stunning! In addition, the breakfast was excellent. Our issue was the distance from the square. It was a very long walk up a very steep hill to get there. We thought we were saving money on the hotel, but you need to factor in the cost to get your luggage to the hotel. There is a porter that would have taken our bags for 30 Euro. We didn't do it since we didn't know how far out the hotel was. We took a taxi to the square which cost 25 Euro and then had to drag our bags through the square and up the hill. Not a fun task in the heat. The owner saw that we were exhausted and sweaty and kindly gave us cool water on arrival. As long as you know what you are getting into, this is a nice place to stay, just be aware.

- Roberta (8/5): una piacevole esperienza - Sono stata per la prima volta a Capri con il mio ragazzo...abbiamo scelto questo albergo non centralissimo rispetto alla piazzetta, ma raggiungibile con una passeggiata a piedi di circa 10 min....ma a Capri è d'obbligo camminare...posto molto tranquillo e confortevole...personale molto gentile....colazione varia ed abbondante...consigliato!!!!

- Mathias (8/5): Rimelig hotell i rolig område - La reginella ligger en koselig spasertur på ca15 min fra sentrum. Rommet var litt lite, men fungerte greit for oss. Vedlig hyggelig terrasse med utsikt over øya og god frokost.
- Roland (10/5): Oh to back in Capri - with or without passports! - This small, reasonably priced and convenient hotel had some of the best staff we have met. We arrived at Capri Marina in a state of shock when we realised that we had left our passports at the previous hotel which were needed for the next part of our holiday. Sandro, the sympathetic manager immediately made useful suggestions, phoned the previous hotel, with an end result that we had our documents by a free courier the next day. This saved us a precious 6 hours round trip and £130 in costs. It is only at a time like this that you realise the value of good management who go beyond the call of duty. The breakfast on the terrace with beautiful views, was delicious and included not just the usual fare but home-made cakes and pastries and a great apple strudel; all cooked and served by the incredibly efficient Sabina. Also, when the light bulb failed in our bathroom, Dilhan came to the rescue and had it fixed within minutes of our request! Great staff - great hotel, unforgettable holiday - thank you.

- happy/giggles (10/5): A wonderful and affordable place in paradise. - The room was spacious and very clean. The hotel exceeded expectations at every turn. The hotel staff is excellent and helpful. If you are looking to enjoy Capri without the high price of the resorts and five star hotels this is your place to be. The room we had was very basic in its furnishings and decor but we had clean towels every day, breakfast provided with a breathtaking view, and a quiet place to lay our heads. Over all our stay on Capri and in La Reginella was the highlight of our trip. It is a two star hotel that gives you five star service . Thank you to the management and staff!
- Fausto (10/5): Albergo pulitissimo e qualità/prezzo imbattibile - Abbiamo soggiornato io e la mia fidanzata in questo Hotel il ponte del 25 aprile. L'Hotel si trova a circa 10 min a piedi dalla piazzetta e per la posizione che ha abbiamo pagato veramente poco (forse il più economico in quella zona di Capri). Colazione ricca e con possibilità di farla sul terrazzo che ha una vista bellissima. La cosa che mi ha colpito di più è stata la pulizia pressochè perfetta...è un albergo immerso nel verde ma non ho trovato neppure una formichina in camera. Personale e direttore molto disponibili e simpatici. L'unica nota stonata ma è una cosa veramente minima è che la strada per arrivare all'albergo è un po in salita ma è una piacevolissima passeggiata con una bella vista e poi l'Hotel è in una posizione davvero strategica (vicino anche all'arco naturale). Se continuerà ad avere il suo punto forte cioè il prezzo ci tornerò sicuramente al 100%
- Nico (10/5): toller Blick, klein und fein, ruhig, entrückt... - Capri ist wundervoll und genau in diese Stimmung reiht sich das Hotel ein. Es ist genau der richtige Ort, um zur Ruhe zu kommen. Irgendwie scheint es eine Art Exil zu sein. Da sind all die Bücher, all die Büsten, das Klavier und nicht zu letzt dieser wahnsinnige Blick auf´s Meer. Verzaubernd. Und man denkt an Thomas Mann, Maxim Gorki usw. Das Hotel liegt etwas entfernt vom Trubel der Piazza Umberto I und auf direktem Weg zum Arco Naturale und dem Wanderweg zur Villa Malaparte. Einfach Bellissima. Ich komme auf jedenfall wieder.

Adequate room and fantastic balcony (equal to size of room) with a great view of the Marina Piccolo. Quiet and peaceful. A bit out of the way, but we love to hike. A Hidden Gem!!!

- Southern Boy (8/5): Normal American Married Couple Mid-20's - My wife and I stayed for two nights in August 2012. Nice hotel, best free breakfast we had our entire stay in Italy. The hotel even threw a fancy concert with buffet and champagne on the house! Only downside is the hotel is a 15 minute walk up a steep sidewalk from the main Capri square, it's easily doable, just be aware! You have to go swim in the Azzura (blue) Grotta around 530pm!!! Just take the bus to the stop and walk down the steps!
- Marc (10/5): Wunderbare Lage, extrem freundlicher Service - Das Reginella ist eines der wenigen Hotels auf Capri, das für Otto-Normalverbraucher bezahlbar ist. Es liegt an wunderbarer Lage am Rande des Städtchens Capri, fantastische Aussicht vom Balkon, absolut ruhig, gleich in der Nähe von 2 absolut lohnenden Wanderungen/Spaziergängen in den Osten der Insel. Die Zimmer sind einfach und nur mit dem nötigsten ausgestattet, dafür aber super sauber; der Rest des Hotels (Lobby, Balkon, Restaurant) sind charmant eingerichtet. Das Management ist enorm freundlich und zuvorkommend, und das Gleiche gilt auch für die Angestellten. Für unsere Anliegen nahmen sich alle sehr viel Zeit. Etwas Italienischkenntnisse helfen immer und werden sehr geschätzt, aber der Manager spricht auch fliessend Englisch. Ich kann das Hotel wärmstens empfehlen für alle, die auch mit einfachen Zimmern zufrieden sein können und dafür eine familiäre Atmosphäre an wunderbarer Lage und herzliche Freundlichkeit umso mehr schätzen.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Difícil acesso. - O Hotel tem um ar de casa de família e os responsávevis nos pareceram muito bem humorados e disponíveis. O Hotel fica a 25 minutos de caminhada do centro de Capri, Impossível outro acesso a não ser a pé. No calor era muito difícil, MORRO, muito íngreme, 25 minutos de quase escalada. a foto mostrada, que nos animou a escolher o Hotel, não nos pareceu ter sido tirada de lá. A recepção não funcionava o dia todo e não atendem telefone depois de determinado horário. O café da manhã, conforme já relatado no site é de chorar. Nem pão fresco. Tudo pouco e de pouca qualidade.

Det är ganska långt att gå från stadens centrum, det är bra att vara beredd på det. Rummen fina och enkla, frukosten är ganska skral.
