Joanne (4/5): - Good location but downhill from there. The room was tiny and only really fit for 1 person not a couple. The bed was against the wall so you had to climb over your partner to get in or out. The bathroom is a glass box which is open so unless you are used to do your business 2 foot from your partner, it’s not pleasant. The bed was like a slab of concrete so we hardly slept a wink. Tiny pillows for some reason. Thank goodness it was only 1 night.
Reece (6/5): - Clean property no complaints there. The staff were also good with us and a very straight forward check in. The room was quite small, we went for a room without window. It felt like a student room with how small it was but for 1 night only it was ok to be fair. The bed was quite hard, not the comfiest. Very quiet though in the room no outside noises and came with Location is great, Matthew street is a few mins walk.

C (8/5): Accommodating Hotel Z - Efficient staff. The room was nice and comfortable for a single person booked reservation. Probably selected the hotel on satisfactory reviews posted, location and cost for a weekend stay to visit Chester and Wrexham to meet up with friends.
Debra (4/5): - The website needs to give you some more information because we weren’t expecting a room that was so small that you had to sit on the toilet to put your shoes on. There’s no chair there’s nothing it’s so small. I will never stay there again. for the most part, the employees were helpful as they can be, but it was just way too small. You could hardly turn around. and if you want to use a washcloth, you will have to bring your own. They want you to use hand towels as washcloths. and they only clean your room every other day. and the TV goes in and out because they’re on satellite so what it does is it will stay on for a couple seconds and all of a sudden the sound will go away and if the picture will freeze, and then it comes back on for a couple seconds, it’s hard to watch a movie.

Spencer (10/5): - I was so lucky to come across The Z Hotel - the concept of an extremely well-laid out compact design complete with all mod cons and comforts - at an unbelievably affordable price. This was literally across the street from one of Liverpool's most notable attractions: The Cavern Club; and it was just blocks from the docks, the City Centre, and the train stations. The staff (shout out to Camille) was helpful, friendly, nice, and went above and beyond expectations. I wish there were Z Hotels all over the world.

Ivan (8/5): Interesting room setting - The only odd thing for me was that if I had traveled with my partner.. the see-through glazed glass covering the toilet and shower almost next to the bed made it a little bit odd. No real personal privacy if you're sharing a room like mine.

Dr Florence (10/5): - Great little place, I stayed in one of the smaller rooms, no window but was absolutely great for one night, clean, complementary water, spacious shower for what is considered a small room. modern only single criticism would be there was no plug to charge your phone overnight esp if you like to be on your phone before bed and need to use it as an alarm; plus you want a full battery before setting off in the morning, minor inconvenience. The staff were absolutely lovely and so helpful. Would stay again.

Small and cosy but comfortable and clean. Its location makes it an ideal place for a night on the town. Plenty of food choices followed by Plenty of bars and clubs.

Dean (6/5): Great Location for a night out - It's city centre Liverpool, so right where you need to be. Only 1 lift for guests is poor, and no access to stairs so you just have to wait. Limited Breakfast options. Comfortable enough, and we even had a window ! It was over-priced for what it was, but on a Saturday in Liverpool city centre what other choices do you have ?

Lynne (8/5): - The hotel check in was efficient and friendly. The room was the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in, smaller than a vintage Airstream I rented in Colorado . Very few facilities to hang/store clothes. No windows made it seem clostrophobic and the shower/toilet was a glass partition in the room. We stayed in Liverpool to attend a major concert so there was little choice of accommodation.
Gareth (4/5): - Very overpriced. £950 for 4 nights and the rooms are tiny. We found the beds uncomfortable but that’s personal preference. There seemed to be a group of local people either living in the hotel or hanging around it that didn’t really give the place Much justice. 2 of the 4 nights we came back police where outside trying to arrest someone or breaking up fights. Wouldn’t have minded if it was 70/89 quid a night but not for the money we paid.
