- Tim (6/5): -
- Clare (10/5): Lovely apartment. Great location - Great location
Lovely property
Great price Another arm chair in the lounge
Would be great.
But everything else was lovely
- paul (10/5): - Location and access to the town Teenagers were very noisy on the street after dark around 10 or more at a time and the police did attend at one point.
- Andrea (9/5): -
- Keith Ireson (8/5): -
- Trevor (9/5): - Wonderful location Very spacious apartment
- Tim (10/5): -
- Helen (5/5): - The location of the apartment. The helpful people. Honey and especially Finn who came out on a Sunday evening to get the boiler working. Cold and unwelcoming, a broken window by the bed. Not enough comfy seating for the four guests.
- Leah (10/5): -
- Atkinson (9/5): -
- john shw (8/5): - Loved the location Very drafty
- laura (9/5): -
- Andy (9/5): A perfect week in a very nice apartment. - Artsbank had everything we needed, a comfy bed
a well equipped kitchen and a flat screen TV plus all facilities including a washing machine and a dishwasher. It was also in a prime location
in the town, with great cafes and bars on the doorstep, we had a lovely stay. Only the stairs up.
- Fiona (9/5): -
- Molly (10/5): -
- ALDIS (6/5): great apart from problems mentioned - apartment was great containing all that was needed key box was next door and took us about 10 minutes to locate
we were not warned that there were 4 flights of stairs. i am 82 so struggled with suitcases and access to and fro
central heating not working so we had to call someone to fix it
Bed too low, struggled to get out
- Richard (9/5): Spacious and comfortable apartment, well located and good value for money. We shall return!! - The apartment was very spacious and comfortable, the en suite to one of the bedrooms was a bonus as we didn't realise there was one.
The apartment is in an excellent location situated on the main road through the town, with some lovely bars, cafes and shops as well as a supermarket conveniently located nearby.
Parking was never a problem and all the on street parking is free, if we didn't get parked right outside the door then we were less than a minutes walk away.
The beach was only a five minute walk away although be prepared for a steep climb back up the steps, also some lovely walks in the nearby valley country park which picks up the Cleveland way, my dog had the best time exploring on woodland walks and along the side of Skelton beck.
For an alternative beach walk, Marske is only 5 minutes drive again with free parking for upto 4 hours, or you could walk there in about 40 minutes, Redcar is another couple of miles north of Marske with more chance of walking on the beach
The host was great at communicating before, during and after our stay, we will definitely be looking at returning next year Nothing really that we disliked about the property
- Sonia (10/5): Fabulous apartment in a great location. - Great location and very well equipped. I’ve recommended it to my friends. Nothing!
- paul (10/5): -
- ANDREW (9/5): Very enjoyable and great place to stay - Lovely spacious apartment and nice and modern with a comfortable feel to it. Excellently located and close to the beach and all amenities All excellent
- Leanne (5/5): Lovely location disappointing apartment - Great location, spacious and stylish, good water pressure, nice towels Not cleaned to high enough standard, pet hair on sofa and rugs, dirty carpet, mouldy tea towel provided! Windows not opening/closing well, no blackout blinds, only 4 mugs for the apartment, no hooks in bathrooms, ensuite basin draining very slowly, strong mouldy smell in bedroom cupboard.
- Tina (8/5): A beautiful apartment in the centre of Saltburn. We loved our stay. -
- Stuart (9/5): -
- Michael (9/5): A very comfortable flat in central location in town . - Spacious comfortable flat in a very good location. Windows needed black out curtains as it was a bright for the summer mornings.
- Carol (7/5): Just not up to scratch - Lots of space & nice bright rooms. Very bright on an early morning in May...
Comfortable but could do with an extra tub chair in room. It was quite dusty in places when we arrived so felt the need to go over work tops and tables etc. May have been due to the constant air vent going like the clappers as it was a very windy Bank Holiday weekend.
The first bedroom first window would not seal properly so curtains blowing constantly & when bedroom doors closed on an evening constantly banging because of this. So not a restful sleep as hoped.
The bed in the first bedroom also dips in the middle a little & mattress too soft for me.
The main bathroom hand towel left for us was wringing wet but folded for use so an oversight there. Found a clean dry one in a cupboard in the kitchen so wasn't a problem.
On suite shower door wouldn't close properly so leaked through & mopped up but could do with some attention.
I've been overall disappointed with Host & Stay properties the last couple of bookings so not sure I will be booking again.
It's the attention to detail that's lacking & not the luxury as advertised.
It was OK, but who's looking for OK!!
- Smith (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tamsin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ingrid (10/5): Lovely clean apartment in the perfect location for our trip. - Great location, comfortable, good decor and comfortable beds. Mat at the entrance to the flat is very slippy. Only 2 wine glasses.
- R34 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julie (10/5): Great place to stay - Great location. Clean, lovely high ceilings On suite shower a little small
- Amy (8/5): Fantastic location with everything you need. - Great communication prior to arrival, duri g and on leaving. Fantastic location.
- Georgina (5/5): Passable - We stayed at this apartment in 2021. The host warned us about scaffolding and works taking place right outside the main living room. We were offered no discount for this despite having to keep the curtains closed for privacy. This time when we stayed, we couldn't believe there was scaffolding outside the bedroom windows and again we had to keep the curtains closed as men we're working just outside our windows. This time we hadn't been warned about the works taking place. The apartment was nice originally but after staying for a second time we noticed that it is a tired and dirty.
The check-in at 4pm is very late especially as we were offered an earlier check-in time of 11am (at an extra charge of £30), so if apartment is ready why make people wait until 4pm. And then you have to vacate at 10am which is not good 'time' value for a 2 day stay.
- Alanavery (10/5): Superb !! - Brilliant venue, ideally located and the hosts were attentive with all the information, the location is superb and so is the property. Nothing
- Jean (8/5): We love Saltburn so it didn’t take alter our holiday bit it could have been better. - Location, easiness of parking and easy to relax The bathrooms need an update, mould in the silicone and seals and broken parts. Comfortable seating in the lounge area for 4.
- Leon (9/5): Great flat - Great natural light. Parking great. Location great. Communication and instructions great. Awesome flat. The price
- Faye (10/5): Perfect relaxation and will definitely return - The space, layout and location were perfect. There was everything we needed during our stay. The only minor grumbles the bed sheets were too short and the duvets a bit thin and not wide enough. There was a significant draft from the extraction fan in the dining /lounge space. The shower in the en-suite fused after each use. None of which spoiled the stay
- Gina (8/5): Very good -
- Graeme (7/5): Apartment was very good but requires more and better lounge seating. -
- Michael (9/5): Great place to stay but be careful of booking cost w see w Ed d - The place was very nice and excellent location Clean tidy and great location
- Linda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - The location was great. Close to some top places to eat and drink. A short walk to the cliff top and beach..20 minutes drive to Staithes for a visit. Everything worked for us. Nothing of note on the negative side.
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional - Apartment was in a great location, very clean & comfortable, great correspondence throughout, would highly recommend
- Imogen (8/5): Very good -
- Jon (8/5): Very good -
- Colin (6/5): Pleasant - Great location in the centre of Saltburn.
Spacious apartment with plenty of room for two couples. The tiles in the onsuite bathroom are damaged.
There was a dirty/mouldy chopping board in one of the kitchen cupboards.
The living area could do with another sofa or comfy chair - there is a 3person sofa and separate chair. The separate chair is hard and not comfortable after a while.
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Helen (7/5): A nice night away - Location and period features Sofa/seating: no comfort
- Alison (8/5): Highly recommended - Very smart and spacious apartment, lovely and light, carpets were positively luxurious. Very comfy beds. Massive fridge and freezer. Excellent wifi. The kitchen was well equipped however it was let down by there not being quite enough cutlery and wine glasses, no oven gloves and a fairly random supply of saucepans and bits and bobs. The shower in the en-suite was not as good as the one in the other bathroom! Be careful you don’t slip on the doormat by the flat’s front door.
- Edward (9/5): Stunning central apartment..... - Location, lovely bar and real stone baked pizza restaurant just 30 seconds walk away. Everything u need for a friends/family break. Nice and warm, great shower and comfy beds. Would definete stay again. Location, location location....
- Emmet (9/5): Superb -
- Christine (8/5): Good weekend, comfortable place to stay - Very clean; well equipped; good location.
The guide provided was excellent No plug in the kitchen sink! No drawers or cupboards in the bedrooms, only 1 hairdryer
- Forbes (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lynn (9/5): Love the apartment, stylish and I. A fantastic location. Just felt let down with the crockery, as we wanted to do cookin - Very stylishly furnished and not cluttered. Fantastic location. Good linen and towels. There is not enough crockery. You need at least 8 of everything. Not enough small glasses, wine glasses and small bowls.
You could do with a large platter plate and small tapas bowls.
- Cheryl (8/5): We had a lovely time, staying in this lovely apartment in this lovely resort. I would stay there again. - The space, the building, the location. The bedroom and entrance carpet had staines on them which should have been removed and the light over the table did not work. These details make a difference to the quality of the study.
- Rhonda (9/5): Overall it was perfect for our stay - Location was great - stairs was a little tough and the Unit number should be on the door. Tried to get into the unit below by accident - luckily they weren't in. Communication with the mngr was great via the app. Good to have reminders. The beds were not very comfortable. The bed on the second room had legs off and caused problems. I think that another arm chair would have been good as there were 4 of us and the settee is always difficult with 3 people.
- Deb (9/5): Superb - Location was brill
Flat had all the things you needed Not enough hangers for clothes or drawers for smaller objects
- Karen (9/5): Recommended, really nice airy apartment with great showers in a great location. - Spacious, light, airy. Great location. Near to the train station, shops, places to ear and a short stroll to the promenade. Really good showers. Comfortable beds. Lovely clean bathrooms.
Had to call the team on a Friday night due to faulty smoke detector and was visited promptly (1 hour wait only) to solve the issue. Thank you as it would have been difficult to sleep and would have also disturbed the neighbours. Stains on carpets, we suggest getting the vac spot wash duo. No drawers in the bedrooms for clothes and only 5 coat hangers in each bedroom. Kitchen cupboard and fridge grime around the handles - did clean them ourselves along with some dirty cups in the cupboard. Minor things as we still enjoyed our stay.
- Clyde (8/5): Short and sweet - Open, spacious , clean The 4pm check in times
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (9/5): Superb - very comfortable, great location, spacious and attractive. The key lock was not as described, it was to the right of an adjacent door.
There were no larger cooking pans
- Deborah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Claire (9/5): Superb -
- Deborah (7/5): perfect for a short break - everything on your doorstep - excellent location - near shops cafes and the beach - good for dogs
parking was easy & free and right outside could have done with another settee in the lounge - the key box wasn’t in a very obvious location - had a bit of a panic before my son found it - a pic of the location would be useful
- Rachel (9/5): Superb -
- Colin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Francesca (10/5): amazing and great hosts - this is an amazing property situated in a great location.
- Karen (10/5): Loved it! Definitely recommend!! Lovely walk down to the sea too - great location!! - So modern and clean!
Very impressed all round and great communication from the Hosts.
Beds are sooooo comfy and shower was amazing!! The only thing I could find a fault with was that I just thought the property wasnt well advertised once we’d got there… key safe location was fine but confusing once in main door - could maybe do with a small notice to say inside building where the apartment is located.
HOWEVER THIS COULD HAVE BEEN MENTIONED IN AN EMAIL THAT I WAS UNABLE TO OPEN!
- Ruth (8/5): Lovely apartment in a great location. - Great location. Lovely rooms and having 2 bathrooms was a bonus. Not enough seats in the lounge. It needs another comfy chair or even a beanbag.
Soooooo many emails and texts from the company.
- Patrick (8/5): lovely apartment in great location - great location, spacious and comfortable beds. not enough comfortable seating in sitting area
- Juliet (7/5): Good -
- Gun (9/5): Superb -
- Angela (9/5): Superb - Location to shops and restaurants and the sea No shelf in en suite for washbag
- Sophie (7/5): brilliant location but too many messages telling me to be careful - The apartment was spacious, well equipped and in a brilliant location.
The bed was really comfortable. The amount of messages I received prior to staying at the apartment was off putting. I booked the apartment which was over £250 for 2 nights. I was then told that I must pay either another £25 damage waiver or £250 plus a £10 admin fee for damages. I duly filled out the requested forms only to be asked multiple times to complete them, even though I had done and messaged to tell them.
When we got to the property there were a number of signs around the apartment telling us to take our shoes off and not to let our child run up and down the hall.
I completely understand that the owner wants the apartment to be looked after but I found the extra money and all the messages about being careful, clean and quiet very off putting. It did not make me feel particularly welcome or relaxed which I should have done when spending £250 for 2 nights.
- Dorothy (8/5): Very good - Location spaciousness comfort It was dirty and had to be re leaned. It took 24 hours for this to happen.
- Paul (8/5): Lovely few days away with the Mrs - Good location , near bars and restaurants and shops Kitchen tap exploded on turning on , had to mend myself.
Not all windows able to open.
Bathroom a little tight.
Couldn’t work the hob.
