- Robyn (7/5): - Great location. Spacious apartment with all the amenities you could need. The included parking and the tea and coffee was a nice, unexpected touch, but some milk would have been very much appreciated. There's a newsagents across the road so wasn't a big deal. Very helpful staff (online) - we had a few questions during our stay and when we messaged them we received an answer more or less straight away every time. Kitchen and bathroom very clean! In general, it wasn't the cleanest place. There were stains on the carpet, scuff marks on the walls and all of the surfaces (shelves/desk) were covered in dust.
The booking in process was tedious after a long drive. You have to phone a number to get the code for the key safe sent to you but this took us just under 45 minutes. I would recommend phoning them on route. Also, if you have a dog the closest grass area for them to have a wee is around a 2 minute walk away which can be a pain in the middle of the night!
- Dawn (3/5): Not comfortable with dirty carpets - Location Not clean dirty carpets
Blinds not working
- Lynn (8/5): Lovely location and great value for money. - Great location. Property good size has everything we needed. Could have been cleaner and some areas are showing signs of wear. Bathroom, carpets, sofa.
- Nigel foster (5/5): - Location was good close to centre, size of rooms were good, nice kitchen. Beds very comfortable We entered the property up a flight of stairs which were steep, for us not a problem but some people may struggle.
Opened the front door the carpet was full of stains it needs a deep clean or replacing, the place wasn't very clean there was a dirty pair of socks on the floor under the sofa , lots of crumbs and rubbish under sofa cushions, the bathroom was dirty skirting boards were very dusty, and a lot of hair in the shower, only one toilet roll left for a four night stay.
One bedroom had no hanging space or drawers for clothes the other had a rail but only 2 coat hangers.
The blinds in the bedroom let in light so awake as soon as the sun comes up.
We could only watch sky on the TV, could not connect to Netflix and YouTube.
The kitchen lacked essentials , no frying pan, no washing up liquid or scourer to clean pots, it does have a dishwasher but only 2 dishwasher tabs left this place could be beautiful with a bit of attention a deep clean and better facilities if all this was done we would stay again but as it is definitely would not stay again
- Jade (9/5): -
- howard (4/5): - Comfortable Bed. There was no permit as promised so that cost 33 pound for the 3 nights . Nothing on fridge door to put milk in . Blind in on of the bedrooms wouldn't come down therefore pure daylight at 8am shining in eyes.
- DAVID (8/5): - For the price we paid it was a great place to stay Located on a very hilly place in whitby
- natalie (7/5): Would stay again as ideal location - Great central location for getting out and about. In a nice side street with no access to cars so very quiet.
Close to lots of shops/cafes etc.
All amenities are available for the stay and comfortably accommodates 4 adults with plenty of space.
Parking scratch cards left in the property which cover the whole stay too (just cannot park near property) Not the cleanest of places. (Toilet bowl dirty with grime, shelves covered in dust and carpets dirty/stained)
The communal hallway smelt strongly of damp and the carpet heavily stained but a note up to say had a recent leak which explains it.
Beds comfy but broken slats so end of the bed dips down which isn’t ideal.
- Tanya (10/5): Excellent - Everything was great, communication from
The company was excellent, I would
Stay again and recommend Nothing
- Hannah (8/5): -
- Woodman (6/5): Suitable for young people but not conducive for older people who might have mobility issues. - The unit itself was well set out, beds were comfortable The street access was dirty, stairs were very steep, location was hard to find, there were no instructions on how to use the shower, parking was a nightmare even with the permit.
- Hayley (2/5): Very poor property AVOID !! - Good location for the town Very poor property
Damp smell in entrance hall / stairs from leak
No hot water in kitchen and dirty toilet with broken seat
Broken blind in bedroom and bed slat
Stained carpets
Dusty and dirty throughout with stained cushions and headboard.
Very basic apartment with shabby furniture and not even a coat hanger to hang clothes.
I am currently waiting for a reply from Host and Stay who manage this property regarding my complaint directly to them
- VAUGHAN (8/5): Appartment lovely and well located clean apart from dressing table in bedroom dustyl - Not easy to find the property as no house number on display, sat nav takes you to the sstreet up the road, no cars allowed on street so need to park car somewhere then find property.
- Mckee (1/5): Grubby - Location Bedding was stained and dirty. Took several calls and emails to get replacement bedding after three days. Whole place did not look like it had been cleaned between lettings. Also one of the bedroom blinds would not close so no chance of a lie in once sun rose
- Darren (7/5): -
- Diane (3/5): Disappointed in Apartment Standard & Booking.com / Host & Stay - Location was great, best thing about it Cleanliness and small touches
Only one toilet roll left, no coat hangers at all !! Bed linen had marks. I came home with bites on my leg.
Shower was good, WIFI was good
Disappointed in Apartment Standard & Booking.com / Host & Stay as expressed concerns several times prior to stay because of poor reviews.
- Andy (10/5): Great Value , Beautiful Apartment , Close to everything you need - Beautiful Apartment, everything you need is provided and just off a Main Street with all different shops , pubs and short walk to harbour top. Great communication from owners at all times checking if need anything and happy. Nice end to my Dads 80th Birthday away , Thank you
- L (4/5): Disappointing - The location was perfect
The price was good
Nice clean bedding The floors and carpets are all dirty skirtings hadn't been clean in a while
Blinds thck of dust
Dog hairs under the cushion just wasn't very clean. All the furnishings are great everything's up to date it just needs a few hrs cleaning down and it would be perfect. I have asthma so I suffered the whole time due to dust.
- David (8/5): Great location, great stay - Location, layout of property, cleanliness and kitchen fittings / appliances. The property was very comfortable and had all we needed for our stay. Some minor issues (more maintenance matters) The long shelf in the lounge appears to be sagging in the middle (appears legs missing?). Carpets a little dirty (but had been cleaned)
- Charlotte (3/5): Avoid - Beds were comfortable and bedding actually looked clean. Location good, but parking bit of a nightmare to find as the 'W' zones with the permit are a bit further from the property and often full. We have just returned from a 2 night stay at Routh Walk in Whitby. I am not one to complain but I am so disappointed with the deception of the lovely photos of this place. Firstly, it says this is a ground floor apartment, which is isn't it is up a steep staircase which my mum struggled with due to a knee injury, people have even asked in the Q+A section about this as they are disabled and the property has had the audacity to reply saying it is ground floor.
The biggest issue we had was the total lack of cleanliness of the place. On entering the steep stairs up to the property you're met with stained carpets and an awful musty smell. Then entering the property you're met with yet more stained carpets. The amount of reviews stating this from even a couple of years ago and yet the owners clearly haven't done anything about it is pure laziness. All the surfaces were covered in dust and cobwebs all over the ceiling, fabric sofa stained and dirty looking. The toilet seat was dirty and the lino in the bathroom floor was absolutely filthy, we put a baby wipe over it and the amount of dirt that easily came up from it just speaks volumes on the shear laziness and money making hosts of this property. The overall cleanliness was awful but these were the main issues. There was also no hot water in the property (luckily the shower was electric so all fine) it states on the property guide to turn the emersion heater on when you arrive, but with no instructions on how to find this. I am really disappointed with this stay, you expect more from a company that owns multiple properties, but clearly it is just a money making scheme for them and they don't care about ensuring guests have a comfortable stay. £70 of the booking cost is a CLEANING fee might I add, yet we had to somewhat clean it when we got there to make it liveable, disgusting.
- Carrie-ann (1/5): Avoid avoid avoid! - It was in Whitby. First of all the guy who was messaging me told me there were scratch cards for parking zone W in the apartment. On entrance there were no scratch cards, then I received another message to say there was no scratch cards but there was chargeable car parks nearby. Ok i would have been fine with that if it had been made clear from the outset instead it added another £20 to already steep fees. The apartment is grubby,it smells awful, the hall carpet is stained and smelly, and despite many many reviews saying the same and the response being that they will clean it,it clearly falls on deaf ears. The skirting boards are dirty, there were fingerprints on the sky box and the unit under the tv is bowed in the middle. The sofa is tiny, and uncomfortable and the whole place felt unkempt. There is a clothes unit in 2nd bedroom but no hangers on which to hang clothes and only a tiny dresser drawer that was full of make up debris so basically it's live out of a suitcase. The entrance to the property is accessible by a set of deep, dirty carpeted stairs. I've paid a lot less for a lot better in other places. Please save your money and book elsewhere.
- Andrew (3/5): Poor - It was close to town The place needs a full up grade the entrance was damp and smelt terrible the stair carpet was wet the flat needs a good clean and painting threw out.there was cobwebs everywhere in the living room the bathroom vent needs cleaning please get proper size quilts for the beds not a double for a king-sized bed???
- Helen (8/5): Very good - Location and the facilities
- Bethany (8/5): Overall would recommend - The location is great. Make sure you park in the W parking area. The road outside is H and the parking permit is not valid there.
You are provide with everything you need for your stay. Towels, shampoo and soap. Coffee and tea making facilities too.
The apartment does need a good clean, the carpets were quite stained but the beds and bedding was very clean. For the price I would highly recommend.
5 mins walk from the centre.
Host excellent. Carpets very stained but beds comfy and clean.
- Robins (8/5): Very good - Bed was really comfortable. The apartment was laid out nice Parking facilities, carpets heavily stained, no toilet rolls, no dishcloth. Very confusing directions to the keysafe . Passer by helped us to locate the key as its not numbered or named well
- Matthew (8/5): Relaxing and lovely -
- Darren (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location beautiful property
- Anya (8/5): Great central apartment, good value - Very central and comfortable Stained carpet, unwelcoming communal areas
- John (9/5): A wonderful stay for family with a child - Fantastic apartment for our short stay in Whitby. Great location, facilities and customer engagement. Quite possibly the best stay we have had in Whitby and we have stayed a number of times. Best nights sleep too. My only negative comment would be something the accommodation providers can do little about. Parking in the zone on your complimentary ticket was a real challenge. Spaces close by were impossible to come by so I would advise to pack light or use the public car park on back St Hilda's street which is only a short walk away.
- Debbie (8/5): Lovely couple of days with the family in a nice apartment for the price. Would recommend. - Location and price excellent. Apartment large modern and spacious for four adults and a dog. Nice decor and well equipped kitchen. Some radiators didn't work on arrival but someone did come quickly to rectify. The frying pan hadn't been cleaned from previous occupants. We ended up with a parking fine...Beware the zone on the street closest to apartment is not for the permit.
- Bethany (6/5): Good location, comfortable, could do with a freshen up. - The location was great, comfortable stay. There was no scratch card for parking on arrival and this wasn’t resolved until the next day meaning we had to pay for parking which is a bit disappointing when you’re expecting it to be included and on check in they ask how you will be travelling so they were aware we would need a scratch card. The cabinet below the TV is broken, looks like it is missing two legs which caused it to bow in the middle. We had a toddler with us and were worried this would collapse onto him. There were a lot of stains on the carpets and sofa which would have come up with a carpet cleaner.
- Liam (8/5): Very good - Good location, clean apart from the stained sofa,
- Race (8/5): Lovely apartment to stay in Whitby for our Christmas break. - The location was ideal. To be honest it was pretty much what we were expecting so to say there was something we didn’t like wouldn’t be fair
- Graham (7/5): Fair But not as good as I expected - Cleanliness was not upto scratch stains on carpets ,sofa badly stained ,rubbish and bits of crumbs under sofa cushions, rack on drainer Rusted
Toilets stairs rolls holder Rusted, towel heated rail in bathroom not working
- Leanne (8/5): Good location, good for a weekend getaway - Location, clean and modern The shower pressure is up and down.
The hairdryer blew up and although it was replaced the owner said they knew it had been faulty
Bathroom radiator didn’t work
- Nigel (8/5): Very good - No parking permit left as promised even after ringing and complaining the next day. Luckily caught one of host and stays staff cleaning the next apartment who saved the day. Major inconvenience having to move avehicle about in Whitby when on such a short break
- Ian (6/5): Not the beat - Bathroom floor had been lifted up for some reason and just thrown back duwn
- Julie (7/5): Had a fabulous time in Whitby and would book the same accommodation if issues with cleanliness and clean furniture and c - Fantastic location, comfortable beds Arrived at the apartment and found a set of very steep stairs to climb up to entrance., used toiletries had been left in staircase. Stair carpet looked like it hadn’t been hoovered for months. Opened apartment door to a filthy passage carpet. There were stains on the sofa, cobwebs on the light fittings, bathroom Lino very grubby and lifting in places, grouting around tiles at bottom of shower were black. Finally when turning on the hair dryer there was no sound but the element inside glowed red then heard a popping noise! There was a smell of burning and it became too hot to hold! On closer inspection the hair dryer had not been PAT tested since 2023!!!!! The apartment need a good clean, new carpets, Lino and a new hair dryer!!! What I don’t understand is that lots of users have already commented on the above over the last year so why has nothing been done???
- Jane (4/5): Disappointing - It was a good location Standard regards cleanliness poor
- Michael (8/5): The apartment was perfect for what we required for a two night stay. However if we were there longer we’d of needed bett - Good location and well equipped. A warm property. Just a little short on seating in the lounge for four off.
- Rioghnach (6/5): Acceptable but needs deep clean. Poor access - Overall acceptable. Good size bedrooms. Poor cleanliness really let's the place down. Also lots of bits that need freshening up like the carpets and flooring in the bathroom. Place had clearly only gets superficially cleaned between guests. Badly in need of deep clean-cobwebs all over the light fittings, dusty, blind in main bedroom didn't close properly, carpets need cleaning and flooring in bathroom very scruffy. Entrance hall very messy...looks like a student bedsit with piles of unopened mail.
I don't think it was clear how difficult access would be from the information online when we booked. Street very small and no car access to even drop stuff, very steep stairs inside front door. Very tricky to get large cases up and buggy/pram access would be very difficult.
- Amanda (10/5): Enjoyable holiday not too far away from all amenities lovely weather apartment spacious and very clean - Very clean well equipped lovely comfy beds Nothing
- Alex (4/5): Whitby family break - Modern flat with good sized rooms. Property was well worn and unclean. No cleaning facilities.
- Terry (5/5): Ok - Location The place smelt damp on entry. The bathroom floor and skirting boards grubby.
- Serena (10/5): Fantastic lovely stay will be staying again very soon - Perfect location and a lovely comfortable stay for 4 adults and 2 dogs The stairs for the entrance but there fine if your used to a steep stairs and the parking is a bit of a pain
- Belinda (10/5): Exceptional - Location Stairs were a little steep
- Robin (6/5): Overall the flat was functional and adequate . It was generally clean and bedding was clean. - Didn’t like the parking issues -
The carpet was very stained and looked dirty
Didn’t like having to pay £25 for insurance when we arrived.
And the TV was not easy to work.
- Rob (9/5): Perfect for our family break, 2 adults, 2 children & dog. - Excellent location, very spacious Cleanliness needed some attention but overall ok for our requirements
- Stevens (3/5): Poor - It was in a good position. The fact that you had to buy an insurance against damage bond and only find out how much it cost after payment which you weren't able to cancel.
Also there is a flight of steep stairs up to the flat which was hard to navigate. The windows in the bedroom was very narrow and would be difficult to climb out of if there was a fire, the fire blanket in the kitchen has not been folded away properly. There is a chip in the bathroom sink and the hall carpet is stained.
- Matthew (9/5): Great place and location - Location Bedroom furniture dusty
Back of toilet not fully cleaned
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Comfortable and well equipped property in a convenient location
- Jason (7/5): Excellent apartment and location but cleanliness is an issue. - Excellent modern, comfortable apartment in terms of layout, location and facilities. Generally clean and well presented (apart from a couple of key areas). The hallway carpet to the apartment is filthy - it really should be replaced with hard flooring as per the kitchen/lounge. It’s a bad first impression. Also the sofa is dirty in places. The shower is quite weak which isn’t helped by the fact that the hose was broken and the red piece of electrician’s tape that was wrapped around it didn’t really help. You can get a new hose for about £5 so I’m not sure why this hadn’t been attended to.
- Liza (9/5): Bright & Welcoming Apartment in a fantastic central location close to all amenities. - We loved the Apartment`s location. It's very spacious & clean and dog friendly which was an added bonus. The host could have provided a few little extras like washing up liquid, scourer, more than 1 dishwasher tablet, dust pan & brush & more loos rolls for 4 guests.
- Helen (9/5): Central Location - Good location. Comfortable beds. Well equipped Flight of steep stairs on entry.
Stains on settee and carpets, marks on walls.
Settee not practical for 4 adults
- Beverly (9/5): Very nice would definitely recommend - Very fresh, comfy and clean The shower was very weak and leaked from the pipe/head joint
- Kate (8/5): Very good - Great location. Clean and had everything we needed.
- John (8/5): Very good - Good location Poor shower
- Anonymous (3/5): Disappointed - Had it been cleaned, the apartment would be basic but OK.
The central location was ideal. On arrival, there was not a single sheet of toilet paper anywhere (not great when you arrive late on a Friday night), a.nd the room was full of dog hair, on the settee, all over laminate floors and on carpets in every bedroom. Coffee machine covered in dust with one coffee pod to share between four of us. Further more no sign of parking permit that was promised, and just to cap the weekend off on Saturday night, the TV cabinet fell off the wall. Luckily, nobody was injured.
- Craig (8/5): Very good -
- Roger (7/5): Good - Great location, great apartment The carpets were stained but the sofa was covered in stains, some dubious
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Duncan (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (7/5): Routh walk - Location was perfect.
Modern apartment, everything you need Not very clean.
A flight of stairs as soon as you enter the doorway.
- Claire (4/5): The apartment was lovely and modern. However the standard of cleaning was poor - Very modern. Liked the app for the welcome and info Standard of cleaning was poor. Bathroom in particular felt dirty. The lino was ingrained with stains and hadnt been cleaned around the door and bin where there was hair and dirt. Also there was a stale smell of cigarettes in the bathroom that lingered and never went away. We are not smokers and this had an even bigger impact on us.
- Barbara (3/5): Don't bother renting Routh Lane - The fact that the flat was in a good vicinity to everything we wanted to do it was good not having to use the car for a few days The flat was dirty and slightly musky smelling. Wr got the impression that the cleaners just come in walk round and then go. The settee was stained the telly didn't work. To say it had been updated well it hasn't been touched for years. There was thick dust on all the skirting boards the carpets were dirty the tap in the kitchen didn't run hot water. The bed we slept in was broken.personally I think the company had a cheek asking for 250.00 pounds we certainly will not be using that business again the outside of the flat had been used as a giant ashtray somebody had left rubbish bags outside the flat seagulls attacked it and rubbish was strewn all over the place
- Gerard (9/5): Superb -
- Graham (9/5): Excellent little family break - Very good Minor problem with Wi-Fi
- Henry (8/5): Overall l liked our stay and would come again - The property has been recently modernised with nice flooring and wall tiles and was very quiet and comfortable, we don’t cook when we go away but the kitchen looked more than adequate. Little things like loose toilet seat and no curtains to block the morning light, let the place down a bit.
- Abbie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Naqeeb (9/5): good value for money - We liked the location and facilities in the property sofa was not comfortable and the tv will not connect to internet
- Jane (8/5): Great apartment in good location - Great location, comfortable beds and good sized apartment. My only small gripe is that there was no scratch card for parking in the apartment despite asking ahead for this. Same happened when we stayed there before but we didn’t need it that time. It was delivered when I rang though.
- Dowdle (2/5): Would not recommend - awful company and disgusting apartment - Location Would not reccomend and Host & Stay apartment - rubbish company and rubbish accommodation
Wish we’d seen the recent reviews and cancelled, would not recommend, would not stay again. We stayed 28/7-30/7 but I am not able to write this review until 9/8 as they take and hold a £250 damage deposit for such a long time, I had to wait until it was refunded before writing a negative review for fear they would keep it!
As a family born and bred in Whitby, we are so disappointed to think this is the first impression visitors are receiving to our lovely town.
After moving away, we often visit family and stay in great places. We booked here last minute as it was cheap, the pictures looked nice, and it had a decent rating…wish we’d looked properly into the rating and reviews that appeared after we booked!
The ONLY pros are the location and the kitchen space is a decent size.
Here are all the cons, which you’ll see most other reviews have also stated.
- Firstly, the most annoying and ridiculous, is the above mentioned deposit. You cannot check into the apartment without paying a £250 deposit plus an additional non-refundable £10 administration fee. Admittedly, I would have queried this earlier but it is my own fault as I missed the emails as I use a different account for booking.com. On the day of our check in I was looking at how to access the property and found these emails. You then have to fill out a form and then pay the deposit and the admin fee - why am I paying you an admin fee when I’m the one doing all this admin?! They request this deposit from two weeks before check in, but this is then not returned to you until 7 working days after you check out. Three+ weeks without £250 of your own money? This is ridiculous as any checks for any damage should be done as you check out before anyone new checks in, and they do not need to request it that early!
- Chrisse (7/5): Good - Stayed in this apartment before so knew where everything was and worked Wasn't as clean as before and starting to look a little scruffy
- Mike (8/5): Very good -
- Joanna (8/5): Very good - Large apartment comfy beds Late check in only
- Joyce (8/5): Very good - Right in center of Whitby, bedrooms really good size, bedding clean and beds comfortable Hall carpet really badly stained when you walked in so first impression was not good. Sofa zip was broke so sponge on sofa was visible, could not use freezer on fridge as over frozen with ice
- Claire (6/5): Not the best - Great where it was situated . Carpark nearby . Comfy beds . Clean bedrooms . Grubby elsewhere other than the bedrooms. The entrance hall made me want to leave as soon as we opened the front door. Post on the floor. Dirty staircase . Throw on the sofa needs binning . Gross:( bathroom dirty . Floor disgustingly mucky. The vinyl needs binning too ! Grout needs cleaning . Didn't want to use the shower or toilet even . Back of it was filthy . Would we stay again . No . Needs a good clean and bits replacing .
- Julie (4/5): Whitby is such a lovely holiday destination. It's a shame about the apartment - The property was in a good area to walk into town and the beach Well.... where do I start
The modern taps in the kitchen and bathroom didn't work we had to boil the kettle when we need hot water!!
The toilet seat wasn't the right size
No washing machine
One of the bedrooms had slats broken on the base of the bed. It was also stained!!
Pillows were stained
The bed side table had broken legs and leaning against the wall to hold it up
No wardrobe or draws to put our clothes in
The sofa wasn't that comfortable and had stains on it
There were way to many ceiling lights in the kitchen/ lounge, too bright!
We didn't receive a parking pass and had to find a carpark and pay for 2 days over 24hr period on both days. We did ring Host and Stay and they said they would re-emberse us. That hasn't happened!!
Only one bin bag.
It is such a shame that there were these issues as it was in an area that we could walk to the town and beach. I don't think we will come to this property again. A dissappointing property really. The photo's of the property looked appealing, but in reality it wasn't up to standard.
- Hafdís (10/5): Loved it!!!! - It was nice, clean, comfortable and the location was perfect. Newly furnished and very cosy. The sinks were kinda complicated first but you get used to it.
- Andrea (6/5): Pleasant -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Doreen (1/5): Bad - Staircase frightening Stairs
- Toby (5/5): good location, would not stay again unless the issue got sorted - the space was nice and although the kitchen was small it did have everything you needed. the communal hallway stunk of mould which was quite disgusting. the internet was so slow it did not work, also no mobile signal either. they left one roll of toilet paper for 4 people for a two night stay and did not leave any soap in the bathroom. the electric taps were impossible to get any hot water with, I had to boil a kettle to wash my face at night.
- Chris (10/5): Lovely stay at lovely apartment faultless!!👍👍 - Very nice clean property, just refurbished to high standard, bargain stay at bargain price..
- Eve (9/5): Great little place to stay as a family, easy to get to all the attractions. -
- Peter (6/5): Good location, nice and comfy apartmenr very comfortable but spoilt with lack of parking cards. - Kitchen well equipped and functional. Living/dining area is comfortable. Bedrooms nice and cosy. Whole apartment clean and tidy Service from housekeeping in regard to leaving parking scratch cards was negligent resulting in us having to pay out £18 for pay and display parking. We had no idea when the cards would be delivered as we were told they would be there Monday morning. This never happened and it was not until later in the afternoon that they were deposited into the key safe. This was too late for us to use them and was forced to use the Council car park again
- Nigel (5/5): Good location but let down once inside. - Location. Modern. Stains on carpet and bathroom flooring, not very clean throughout. Lack of hot water via taps in both kitchen and bathroom. Excessive deposit required AFTER booking. Fresh paint in hallway on arrival, painter actually present on our arrival.
- Clayton (7/5): Good - The property was in a very good location.
The cleanliness of the property bathroom was in need of a good clean. The vinyl floor in the bathroom was very dirty. The tiles in the shower were black mould ..the shower head was again black. The need to scrub the bathroom before using it was definately something we had to do. The hallway carpets with full of stain as was the sofa in the living room. The bedrooms were the best rooms very clean simple amd comfy beds.
The tap in the kitchen was not working...four adults could not get the tap to give hot water. A simple tap would be a suggestion.

- Julie (5/5): Passable - good location. comfortable beds. most of what we would need was in the apartment The shower head and shower wall were very dirty and no hot water in kitchen or bathroom taps. both of these concerns it seems have been raised over the past two years and not attended to. The digital control on the taps is not functioning. Also no information on the use of the microwave that was a struggle to use. For a four person apartment there is only space for three people to sit in the lounge area. I would imagine that parking a vehicle in the summer would be a nightmare

- Brian (7/5): disappointed about the above - apartment was lovely and warm on arrival good size rooms sink in bathroom was blocked hot water taps did not work shower head was very dirty
- Chloe (8/5): Very good -
- Sara (7/5): Nice property but disappointed with the above. - lovely location, tidy apartment with problems. Carpets and sofa extremely dirty looked like multiple pet stains behind the door in bedrooms too messaged host & stay as deposit required for spillages etc… extremely cold hence being winter radiators should of been left on prior to our arrival as it took a day to warm up to a suitable temperature so that we could take off our coats indoors. tap in kitchen didn’t heat up either only cold water running.
