Our issue was during checkout, it took 40 minutes for an elevator and we ended up taking flights with our luggage down 20 flights of stairs. Then we get to valet and the brought a Tesla that wasn’t ours after waiting another 20 minutes and then guess what they brought us TWO other teslas that were ours until they finally brought ours down. It took two hours to get down to lobby and get our actual car just to leave. Very unacceptable
- Ryan (2/5): Terrible Experience- Do Not Stay Here - Worst hotel experience I’ve had post-Covid. Booked and paid for a 2 bedroom room. They only gave us a studio. Refused to refund us the difference and then charged our incidentals card for the entire stay after the room was prepaid. Bed was absolutely rock hard and terrible. Room was dirty and unkept. Front desk staff was rude and dismissive.

When we asked about the included prepaid breakfast I was first told there “was no such thing” by a front desk woman who barely spoke English. I had to speak with several people to get the breakfast AND even then, it wasn’t free. I was given a $25 credit LOL??????? What a joke. Not worth the money. Will not return. Terrible slow staff. Hard to check in and out. Bad service. The restaurant when we finally went, DIDNT ACKNOWLEDGE US! We sat for 20-25 minutes then moved to the bar. Bartender (Milena?) was the ONLY STAFF I CAME IN CONTACT WITH THAT KNEW HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS WITH CARE, ATTENTION, AND WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HELPFUL. I repeat, SHE WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO DID A GOOD JOB. everything else , awful.

- Michael (8/5): Very nice hotel with unique rooms. - Room was spacious, King partial water view. Unfortunately there was a lot of construction at nearby buildings so it was noisy during the day. However the soundproofing is very good and kept the noise dull, only noisy on balcony. The restaurant is fabulous, the bar makes a great old fashioned. It rained most days so we didn't get to enjoy the pool. I wish the pool bar was open at night, I think it would make it a special place to gather for guests only, as opposed to the hotel bar open to the public. Easy access to 2 Metromover stations and 1 block walk from Brightline station. Bayside and Kaseyacenter are basically around the corner if you need a place to stay for an event.

- Chad (8/5): Nice but very expensive - It was a nice stay. A couple things were broken in the room like a cabinet door that I fixed because I didn't want them to blame us. Toilet seat was loose. But for the most part it was nice. The beds were good. Mandatory valet parking is costly. They changed me an extra night so make sure you check your bill. Nice but very expensive. Everything cost a lot more than is should from the $8 coffee to the $6 water.

The room was clean and the location ideal, but several issues brought the experience down from a 5-star stay to about 3 stars. The AC was so loud we had to switch it off all night, and we could even hear the one from next door—not great for a new hotel. I had also completed pre-check-in online, but still had to redo everything at the desk, which made it pointless. We came with one car but were charged for two overnights, which took time at the front desk to fix. At the restaurant, food was good, but service disappointing. We learned before paying that sangria was included in the resort fee, yet when I asked for our two sangrias to be removed, the server refused and instead offered two more “to go.” A 20% service charge was added automatically, but the server insisted it wasn’t her tip, just a collective charge—making us feel pressured. Both times we dined, upselling was pushed hard. For example, my daughter only wanted one pancake, but I had to order the full-priced dish, leaving her with three oversized pancakes she didn’t want. Checkout was frustrating: we waited 25+ minutes for our car, and when it finally arrived, the valet bypassed us, leaving us stuck behind two others. He ignored my question and walked away, forcing other guests to help me back up to leave. Great location and nice hotel, but pushy, inflexible service left me disappointed. Will not return.

- Fergal (6/5): Nice hotel - but expensive for what we got. - The hotel was ok - no housekeeping for the duration of the stay - lots of construction around the locality for the duration of our stay also - mainly working through the night - staff were good - there was a disparity between what our TV showed as our big and our actual bill - we had to query it with the staff. Swimming pool in the shadow of the building from about 3.30 on.

Bayside market and the Kaseya Center are within walking didtance. Great happy hour at the hotel and also at Earls restaurant. We had no issues with the housekeeping, we just asked if we needed something. I would definitely stay there again.
- Amanda (10/5): Really nice stay - This was a great hotel. So clean. Really nice pool area. Glad we picked the spacious room with the washer/dryer. Friendly staff. Nice restaurant with good selection. My main issues were that they didn’t allow you to bring a water bottle to the pool, and we couldn’t go to happy hour because you could only sit at the bar and our daughter was with us so we couldn’t have our welcome drinks or take part in the specials.
- Lina (8/5): - The only three things that were ehh was parking is $75 per day at the hotel, pool closed at 7:30pm And No room service, meaning you have to walk to front desk and ask for towels, toilet paper ect. Other than that, it is a beautiful hotel. I recommend staying here if any of the things I mentioned are not a big deal to you.

- Phillip (8/5): Almost Perfect - Beautiful resort, great staff, center of everything location. I recommend the Gale. Just 2 downsides: no shuttle to cruise ships and the mixed drinks are terrible. The pre-prepared goop they served at pool side as a Pina Colada was especially dreadful (and expensive). Stick to booze in bottles.
- Arismendy (4/5): - I stood at hotel for 7 days n did not receive housekeeping I asked for housekeeping 3 days in a roll was told that they would be coming to do it next day never came I made multiple requests n did not receive housekeeping I rented a 2 bedroom apt for 7 days because I was traveling with 2 more adults n an infant multiple times at different days I requested housekeeping n was told someone will be there tomorrow over n over n never came so disappointed
