- Lawrence (10/5): Outstanding Staff - The rooms are compact, to say the least, but that is the only drawback to this hotel. Even though the rooms are not large, they are well-designed making optimum use of space (get the largest room available). The hotel is well-maintained, and the location could not be better. Steps from Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, two major tube stations and multiple theatres. Best of all though, is the staff. From the clerks at the front desk to the housekeepers to the baristas, you could not ask for a more attentive, hard-working, and accommodating group. I don’t know if management appreciates how amazing this team is, but they must for they work together like a caring family. You will find more spacious accommodations with fancier accoutrements nearby (The Savoy is a stone’s throw away) but you won’t find a better group of people committed to making your stay as comfortable as possible.
- Lauren (10/5): - We stayed here as it was in a convenient location to come back to after a day out in London. The staff on reception were friendly and very helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable.
- Paul (4/5): - The Hotel has a great location: close to theaters tube access, river access, and within walking distance to good food and museums. The bed was comfortable to sleep in and the bathroom was adequate to the tasks. The staff was helpful and friendly. However the room was tiny. There was nowhere to open a suitcase except on the bed. There was only enough access room to the bed for one person, so the partner had to climb over the other when entering or exiting if not done in sequence. The photo on my invoice and the one representing the room I booked was not even close to what we received. When I confronted management about this there was the lame excuse that I should have booked the "Access" room and then gave me a card for the standard 10% discount should I wan to book Z in future. I don't see that in our future.

- Maurice (8/5): - I've stayed at another location of the Z Hotel in London before and had an equally wonderful time. The rooms are small, but the service is LARGE! Every interaction with the desk staff was pleasant and completely genuine in their effort to assist. I'll definitely be back!

Very strong WiFi, which was really important as I had some business to conduct in the morning. Was offered free wine, but was off out for the evening. Would definitely stay there again. The lift it very slow though!

The shower and bathroom had just a glazed glass wall so if you came with a friend I wouldn’t recommend. The shower water was not very warm at all despite what time you showered. They don’t stock the room with many towels or toilet paper so we had to constantly go ask for more since they only come to clean every two days. The positives- clean, felt safe and good location by covent garden. They also offer free wine and cheese twice a week for guests which was nice

The bed was really comfy (although it was against the wall, so if there had been 2 of us one of us would have had to climb over the other one to get out, but as it was just me it was fine) The shower was great as well. Ideal for a few nights stay in London as great location as well
- amy (10/5): Cheap and clean - Its a really clever budget room so central to everything you need. A 5 minute walk from Lion King theatre. However i would pay for a window next time as its stuffy. But very clever use if space. The staff were lovely and helpful. But we got caught in the rain so badly and we just needed to get our clothes off and get in the room and the lady was trying to upsell the breakfast, it just wasnt the time..i had make up streaming down my face, it was that wet. So a bit of understanding would have helped in that moment. The bed was a little hard bit i still managed to sleep.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Smallest rooms ....ever! - The rooms are so tiny and cramped its like checking into a youth hostel. If you are solo it may be fine, BUT, if a couple or more definitely NOT. Our room had a 6 ft. entry that was no wider than the door itself, and another small 2x3 foot space. No place for luggage to go, no phone, no clock. The hard bed was bordered by walls on three sides so be prepared to crawl over your partner to get in/out. The bath is enclosed by frosted glass so privacy is minimal or non-existant.

However when you pay extra for a city view window and the only window you have looks into an empty hallway it is very disappointing. When approaching the staff they claim you have to specify when you arrive you want the window you paid for in the reservation…

- Yan (8/5): Nice hotel - Nice hotel at the price, especially for its location, bus station just outside of the hotel. Around 5-8 mins walk to any subway or train station. Walking distance to Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Thames, National Gallery, etc. The room is not big and don’t have the inner phone so you can’t call the front desk in your room which is not convenient, but everything else is good. Front desk staff are very friendly, if you want something just tell them.

- Doug (4/5): Buyer beware - rooms are small beyond imagination - The rooms are absurdly tiny and the photos of the rooms are VERY deceptive. I have no idea how they got those pictures to not be distorted/look like fish-eye effects because most walk-in closets are bigger than the room we got. The was up against the wall on 3 sides, and the toilet (with a frosted glass wall) was at about 3 feet away from the head of the bed. But the prices were comparable to hotels with actual rooms.

Sure, the location is great, but you’re better off in a cave. Also my room smelled like cigarettes and I can’t imagine how anyone could smoke in there and not croak. It is a box. The rooms are a box.

Their lobby is super cute with bar, wine and with good food choices 24x7, where you can eat anytime. Air conditioning working amazingly while it was freezing in our room. Our room was very small without Window but we didn’t spend much time there. I wish we would have room with Window. Everything was really clean and nice. Customer service is excellent and they suggest lots of great things. I will definitely stay there again!

Vi var forberedt på små rom men rommet fungerte veldig greit selv om man ikke har noe sted å henge klærne. Likte godt at det var vannkoker, kaffe, hårføner og sjampoo på rommet. Vin og ost på lørdags kvelden var populært og veldig hyggelig. Slik følte man seg ekstra verdsatt som gjest. Well done!
