Guest Reviews
- Suhail (2/5): - The Place smells of cat Urine the place was not even clean. The bathroom was dirty and it had stains. I had to clean them myself to stay with our family, but our stay was already paid for so we just kept the key and checked out The last day. When we checked in, we were there for a while to bring our stuff in and I believe we got sick because now we are all home and we all have stomach viruses and fevers and the rest of the family that we went to visit all and no one is sick so I think we picked up a virus from the motel room .
- Lizbeth (4/5): - The reviews were decent, the price was low and the proximity to where I needed to be was good, so I chose this hotel. Dingy, plastic wrapped mattresses and mouldy tubs. I couldn’t fall asleep and left.
- Ivan (10/5): - I had a great stay very quiet will be back.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Really impressed - Pennsylvania skill machines in lobby
- Pat (8/5): Mostly good - Though Dalton (exit:Scott) isn't a tourist destination, this location is good if you're travelling long distance and want to break up the trip. I've stayed there twice, and my room was clean, bug free, and had a TV, refrigerator, microwave and one-cup coffee maker. The service personnel was cordial and helpful. You'll save money compared to other nearby places, but there are a few trade-offs. You'll need to buy ice at a nearby Subway, which is a stone's throw away, and the internet was a bit spotty but still a bit more reliable than at least half of the places I've stayed, even much pricier places.
- Verified traveler (4/5): OK if it's the only affordable option - The rooms are being redone and so are in good condition. The bed was comfortable, though keeping plastic on the mattress didn't help my sleep. The refurbishing didn't include the exterior or the door, and the room didn't have curtains for the front window which made it difficult to sleep. The staff were friendly but difficult to reach, including in the morning when I was ready to leave and just wanted to drop off my key. I wouldn't rule it out entirely, but it wouldn't be my first choice to stay at again. Maybe it'll improve after the refurbishing is done in the whole property and they can focus on improving service.
- Julie (4/5): Not returning there. - Booked 2 rooms double beds, and got 1 double beds and one room single bed; we were lucky our teens were okay spending the night in same bed. Also not used to plastic covered mattresses :(
They advertise as newly renovated, but the bathrooms are really old, rusted and missing tiles.
- ANATOLY (2/5): - We booked 2 rooms for 4 people., by arriving to the hotel reception advised us, that only 1 room is available ( we prepaid 100% for 2 rooms)! Unacceptable and unprofessional . Stay away from it!!!!
- Jordan (2/5): - Made the reservation through expedia - but there was no staff at the hotel. The office door was locked. Lights were on and waited over an hour, but no one showed up.
- Edward (8/5): - Was the perfect room for someone that just needed to crash a few nights. Room was clean, manager was on site 24/7. No amenities, but just for me it was perfect. Would recommend for someone just needing a safe space to stay. Would not recommend if you’re traveling with family.
- Abdel (2/5): - I was not able to check in. Property was sold out and i was told that they were not able to stop accepting bookings for some technical reasons!
- Stacey (10/5): - Julio and Alan are awesome
- Cory (6/5): - Great customer service, but the recent renovations were subpar and the room had a faint smell of urine.
- Kelly (10/5): - Staff was extremely welcoming and accommodating. We felt like we were with family
- Kelly (10/5): - Staff is amazing
- Michel (2/5): - Room wasn t ready. Bugs all over. Very close to highway.
We got caught by rain riding our motorcycles, otherwise we would NOT have spent a night there.
- Serge (4/5): - Arrive at 9 pm, no room ready, wait for room, no towels at all, no TV cause no internet, no wifi, nobody to take the keys at check out.
Don't put that hotel in your publicities !!
Give me back money !
- Lindsay (6/5): - When I arrived at 3:30 pm to check in they didn’t have a room ready and asked me to come back an hour and a half later but I couldn’t as I had a funeral at 4pm. They cleaned a room for me in 15 minutes. It was a single bed and I booked a double bed room. There was no hand soap, no towels to even dry your hands. I was appreciative they rushed to get a room for me but booked the extra bed for my dogs as I have a large German shepherd (130lbs) and needed the extra space and got no refund for the smaller room. The door didn’t stay closed unless it was deadbolted. The bathroom door didn’t shut either. The workers were very nice though
- Robert (2/5): Stay away, from this place. - We got here after a 3 hour drive, and no one was at the front desk...I rang the outside bell and called there number, no one came, after 20 mins I started to call hotels.com, they then called the hotel twice and could not get hold of anyone. They put me on hold and then an employee showed up. He said he was sorry he was sleeping, I got the room, it smelled like smoke, and the refrigerator is full of crap, are the garbage can in the bathroom was not emptied, it was never cleaned. I went back to the front desk the gave me anoter room, this room was cleaner, but both beds had no top sheet, I went back to the front desk, he gave me sheets. This may be the worst motel that I have ever stayed in, ever.
- Kenneth (2/5): Run fast - Forst rooms bed was broken upon arrival and now the owners are trying to charge us. The second room did not heat or get hot water.
- Travis (2/5): Ehhh - Left almost immediately. Paid for a room that was suppose to be ready I even called ahead and let them know what time we would be there. We pull up and it looks run down. This was suppose to be a nice spot for me and my soon to be fiance to spend the night along our travels and it just wasn't. We had to wait almost an hour after checking in for the room to be ready. The facility reaked of weed and was extremely loud with music blaring. We left withing 5 hours!! The TV was going out more than in with the service she wasn't comfortable and I admit neither was I just not what they make it seem on the website we were highly disappointed and dissatisfied to say the least!!
- James (2/5): Always call ahead!! - Never made it to the room overbooked was told it’s a reoccurring problem and refund couldn’t be issued until Monday morning
And had to call my booking agent
Thanks Hotels.com for fixing
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Last minute booking.
Hotel host was very helpful.
Rooms are renovated and look fine for a road motel
- Nina Alyssa (10/5): - Pleasant stay! We travelled from canada enroute to NYC and needed place to stay the night! My kids loved the experience.
- David (4/5): Not what we paid for. - We reserved a room with two queen beds. All they had was a room with a single double bed. Made sleeping almost impossible. Air conditioning was too cold.
- Robert (4/5): - A dive. Cheap but not worth it.Unsafe area hotel under complete renovation. Was deceived by an excellent review on the app.
Won’t stay again
- Joanne (10/5): Clean and comfortable - Simple but very clean. Very nice staff. Good value for the money. Quiet too!
- Melissa (2/5): - I’m not even sure this is a genuine hotel. There were almost no cars there, and yet they claimed through the closed door that it was “sold out”even though I had a reservation. Very unsettling to grapple with at 9:30 at night while tired and traveling.
- Jason (10/5): Great - Loved it
