Guest Reviews
- Adrian (4/5): - My big problem with this property is that it had a hidden cleaning fee that increased the price significantly for our one-night stay. I noticed within a few hours of booking and the staff absolutely refused to issue me a refund even though our stay was weeks away.
Otherwise, the property was alright for the price but not exactly what we had expected. We had booked thinking it was a private apartment for rent, but in fact the kitchen pictured is shared with 5 or 10 other units in the building. The room is on the fourth floor, only accessible by stairs. It has its own private bathroom, but it is not ensuite so you have to step out into the hallway and enter a code to get between. The room does not have air conditioning and there was quite a bit of street noise coming in when we left it open to cool things down.
The good things about this property were that the staff were very responsive (if at times unhelpful), it was extremely clean, and the facilities/amenities were all of good quality.
- Jakkz (4/5): - My unit was clean, but sparse. Having a small refrigerator was useful. The extra 200$ deposit in addition to $50 cleaning fee was unexpected and in the context of the following felt unfair:
Upon arrival the entryway/common space/kitchen was full of dirty dishes in the sink and all trash cans (for paper, bottles and regular trash) were full to the brim. The kitchen sink was unuseable throughout my the whole of my several day stay d/t being full. My lodgings (bedroom and separate bath) were on the third floor and the bedroom and bathroom adjacent were left opened and in disarray for days. A fellow occupant's bathroom code to unlock the bathroom didn't work and he wasn't able to get a reply from the unit managers so I offered for him to share mine.
- Nelly (10/5): - It was nice and quiet and the balcony was nice at night
- Barbara (6/5): Get your steps in - There is no mention that I could find in the listing that this is a 4th floor walk up, with another flight to get to the front door so really 5 flights of stairs. The fact that the private bathroom is in a public hall is also not clear. This property uses a 3rd party service for check in, before providing check in details they require a scan of your photo id and a selfie. Then the checkin instructions aren't clear, there was mention of an August lock but there was nothing marked August on the outside of the room. It says Yale and is up and to the left of the door knob. We put the code into the bathroom door causing it to lock. There is no mention of the code for the bathroom door anywhere in check in instructions nor in the room. Our requests that they call us were ignored. The phone number given in the checkin instructions was wrong. We eventually were told about a lock box with a key. A very basic room basically just a bed. But on the upside it is walking distance to our daughter's condo.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Dont stay here - Absolutely horrible. Its just a bedroom shared with everyone else. My bathroom was not connected to the room so inhad to keep going out in the hallway and use a code for the bathroom. Does not have parking saved for you and no ac in top floor. Was very hot and they have u pay 200 down payment plus the price on the site. Total was 300 for just a small bed room and separated bathroom. They offer coffee but no cups
