Guest Reviews
- Susan (10/5): - Loved it and will definitely return.
- Shannon (10/5): - We loved this place for a short stay!
- Derek (10/5): - Very clean. Staff very nice and polite
- TANYA (10/5): Perfect “tiny home” cabin - Excellent stay! Clean and very family friendly. Loved the amenities. Perfect “tiny home” cabin for our 5 night stay while we attended a local event.
- Glenda (10/5): Great Family location - This is my second visit. I would like to make it a yearly family trip. Something for everyone
- Dawn (8/5): Very close to kings island - Cabin driveway ends at ure bbq grill so not very functional, not enough seating, dishes or towels for 7 that cabin accommodates. Would appreciate hooks to hang coats inside the door and a spot for shoes. A small table of some sort would help with cabin dining. Nice porch on cabin and family pool was nice. Had shuttle issues during our stay but resort was responsive and drivers very friendly. It was clean and nice, will likely stay again but with 7 of us we noticed issues that a group of 4 would not.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Kings Island - It was amazing! We’ll go again! Plan on staying longer next time
- Larry (10/5): - Nice facility
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Great gem! Tony houses are great! Pools are amazing! Lodge has great food and nice bar. Very friendly staff. Perfect for a place to spend night after watching Cindy tennis tournament all day!
- Jeannine (8/5): - Good time!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Almost perfect - Everything great except almost no water flow in shower even with nothing else running.
- Daniel (8/5): - I missed having maid service and having to get fresh towels for myself every day. And it needs to be cleaned better
- Brywn (8/5): - People were very nice! Responsive when we had an issue in the cabin. Very clean property. Cabins are tiny homes so be prepared for that experience.
- James (10/5): - The property is great with great amenities!!
- Tonya (8/5): Stay at Cincinnati Camp Cedar - I really like the Atmosphere. The cabins are beautiful and up to date. The only problem I had was the upstairs window was left open and there were numerous flies flying around. Also the sofa bed sheets were dirty. I would stay here again.
- Christina (10/5): Tons of Fun - Nice campground! I really loved the cabin design—stylish and cozy. The pool area and restaurant were fantastic, and the hospitality was awesome. It’s close to everything and just a hop, skip, and a jump from Kings Island. The only downside was the limited storage space for six people, but overall, we had a blast and will definitely be back!
- Jessica (10/5): - Campground, cabin feel close to Kings island. It was a great stay. They have shuttles to get you to the park. The pool for a break from the heat is awesome.
- Pauline (10/5): - This was a great spot for mini get away from Cleveland Ohio. Love the size of the cabin. Our cabin was right across from the 2 pool area. Love the shuttle to and from Kings island. Great for families vacation. Each cabin had its own fire 🔥 pit grill and picnic table. Kids loved the loft area a little warm upstairs but do able. Parking spaces right next your cabin. Great family vacation spot. A big family could rent more than one cabin. Love ❤️ all the activities they provide at the campground. Do plan on visiting again hopefully with my whole family
- Jeffrey (10/5): - We found this place to be a hidden gem. At first we booked here as my son is into tiny houses and it is very convenient to Kings Island. We were pleasantly surprised at how we loved the place and my kids especially loved the pool.
- Emily wright (10/5): - Wonderful staff. Everything was clean and tidy. Beautiful cabin with lots of space and air conditioning and pool area near.
- Maurishea (10/5): - Kid friendly, beautiful view and perfect location for all events.
- Kristen (10/5): - Great little local getaway for the family. We love the pool. I think they should build a lazy River. Kids would love that. Always clean and quiet. Fire pits are great. Lofts in cabins are awesome for kids. We stay twice a summer!
- Christopher (10/5): - This is our new favorite place to stay in the area! The activities at the campground are a lot of fun! If you want to “glamp,” this is your place!
- Marla (4/5): - Resort was great. Inside cabin - Sheets and blankets & sleeper sofa bed were filthy and couldn’t use. Sheets were stained. Comforters and blankets covered in hair and dirty. Sleeper sofa bed was stained and had physical dirt and muddy foot prints on. When checking out Karen was great and said she would request a full refund from Expedia to compensate us for the room.
- Dawn (10/5): Love this resort but they could do better - Cabin floors were dirty. Dog food under stools and a nose ring in the corner. Walking on the floor left your feet black.
Not all amenities were open during the week. There wasn’t any communication about this even on the direct website for the resort so we didn’t find out until we arrived.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Family Vacation - My family and I had an amazing stay! Definitely going back next summer. Be sure to book golf carts and cabana’s prior to your trip because they rent out quick. Staff was so friendly and just overall family fun.
- Angelina (10/5): - Everything was amazing at Camp Cedar. From check in to check out I cannot find a single thing to complain about. The property is so well maintained and beautiful. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The amenities are in perfect condition and there are a ton of things to do on site. The shuttle service is perfect of you plan to visit the parks. Our cabin, Aspen, was perfect for our family of 6 and a fur baby. Just enough room to move around and have a place to rest. The bathroom was wonderful, great size and the shower was perfect. I honestly cannot say enough good things about out time here and plan to return with even more family.
- Chelsea (10/5): - The customer service is excellent and they resolve any problems promptly and effectively
- Sandra (10/5): - We've been going to camp cedar for a few years now, they just keep improving the place each time. Very nice and clean place, people are friendly, workers are great really helpful, very close to big amusement park Kings island which we're season ticket holders always stay here they never disappoint
- Annisa M (10/5): - Everything was great! From the cabin to the grounds. Shuttle to and from kings island.
Excited to return in June!
- Angel (10/5): Great solution to a “growing problem” - This tiny house/cabin was the perfect solution for our family. Kids are grown but we didn’t want to buy multiple rooms at a hotel. There was plenty of space and everyone had their own place to sleep! Can’t wait to go back!
- LENNIN (10/5): - Super nice
- Kat (10/5): - Great property. We love staying here. Close to everything !! Office hours are limited but hey set us up for checkin with no issues.
- Armontae (4/5): - Our bed sheets was dirty also it was pretty difficult to get in touch with the front desk I had to go thru the onsite restaurant to speak with the front desk
We wasn’t able to watch tv due to the buffering and skipping
No dishes was available for use and it was very cold!. My kids had to sleep in there jackets.!
- Emily (10/5): - The property was clean and nicely appointed - the cabins are a great size and great proximity to Kings Island. Highly recommend!
- Amanda (10/5): - Comfortable, quiet, loveky
- Jeremy (8/5): - Very nice cabin for a stay at Kings Island. Had plates, silverware, etc. Just about 1 minute from the park if going. Checkin staff very friendly as well. Only complaint is the WiFi that powers the tvs and personal phones was poor, but it did let us hang out as a family more.
- Lisa (8/5): - It was a fun place as far as a cabin. Couch was dirty, not many things to cook with. No skillet 1 bowl,1 pot. Not the one I chose but it worked but a loft for adults isn’t great
- Andrea (6/5): - I was excited to stay here that cabin we rented looks so cute and would’ve been it just hadn’t been cleaned properly. The floors hadn’t been mopped. I know it’s a busy place next to Kings Island, but I think they need to keep the cabins or at least the one we were in and better shape, the couch was dirty And the walls were scuffed and marked up. Otherwise, the resort itself was wonderful, and the staff was friendly.
- Dawn (10/5): - Third stay for us. Stayed in cabin 465 and the only complaint is the water pressure in the shower. Will go back!
- Adam (6/5): so-so experience - Everything was really nice and very clean, except for the comforter on the downstairs queen. The sheets were clean, but the comforter had some hair on it and what looked to be an adult activities related stain.
I'm hesitant to leave a somewhat negative sounding review since that was the only issue, but it was too big of a problem not to.
- Tara (8/5): - The camp grounds are extremely nice especially for the price. We would stay again. Disappointed there were no chairs for fire pit and it was located at the bottom of the hill. Communication could be better. There was no one on staff to check in. The key was left outside not the safest option.
- Sandra (10/5): - This was our third time staying here second time in cabins, perfect for one or two days like to take our camper for longer trip, their camping site’s our very spacious and clean and there is so much to do in park always have activities to do,great for kids. Staff are very friendly and helpful, will definitely stay again
- Michael (10/5): - Grate place good price
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Went do to go to Kings Island, really enjoyed our stay. Beds were comfortable, kitchen space was nice, water pressure in the shower was amazing, heat/cooling was easy to control and it was easy to find. Couch and walls needed some TLC but the bedding and towels were very clean so thats a plus for us. The lady that checked us in was really nice and told us we have assigned parking spot, well someone kept parking in ours and didnt care that it was a reserved spot for our cabin(both have numbers). But dispite that we will definitely stay here again.
- Heidi (10/5): - We stayed in a family cabin which is essentially a cute tiny house. It was very comfortable and had a full refrigerator for our food. We came for a dance competition at Great Wolf Lodge but didn't want to stay at the lodge. This was just across the street, so very convenient. It's also super close to Kings Island, but we didn't have time to go there. We didn't use the pool facilities but they looked fun and were very popular. We did have a drink and food at the restaurant which was delicious. I would definitely stay there again.
- Angela (10/5): - Cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed. The pool areas were clean and fun for all. Staff was very friendly. The only issue we had all weekend was 1 of the DJs at the kid’s pool was playing inappropriate rap music. We almost took the kids and left because it was so bad. I've never heard songs using the N word so much before and I didn't appreciate having to explain to our 7yr old why the music was talking about a man getting his d*** sucked because the songs kept sayign it over and over. Our 7 yr old was even asking us why that man was playing nasty music like that. This was at the kids pool. Keep it kid friendly. Thankfully, someone did finally say something to him, and he changed the music to more of a hip hop vs. straight vulgar rap. Other than that, we had a great time and we will definitely stay again.
- Nathan (10/5): - Perfect for a long weekend. Quick easy check, beautiful cabin, quiet. Everything we needed.
- Ryan (10/5): - We had a great stay at Cedar Creek. The cabin was perfect for our family of 5. The pool was great for the kids!
- Tony (8/5): - nice property, but cabins seem to be getting a little run down. Tv and half the lights didn't work in the bedroom, nobody ever came to look at it either. The shower was either scolding hot or ice cold no in between and the water barely came out.
- Suzzette (10/5): - Great place. Great location. Family oriented. Absolutely loved it.
- STACEY (10/5): - Loved the cabin, it was great.
- John (6/5): - Floor was very dirty- walk around with shoes on , tv & Wi-Fi was very spotty and made watching tv impossible. Door to bathroom did not close completely, leaving a crack for all to see.
- Jeffrey (4/5): - The amenities are tremendous. Golf simulator, gym, ice cream station, pool, etc. but the pool was unfortunately ice cold - so couldn’t use as much.
The draw back was customer service. Being injured with torn ligaments in my foot - one employee quote a rate on a golf cart - which intrigued me and made me walk a hundred yards, only to be told “he misspoke” at the front desk. Then, after hobbling back to my cabin, my key didn’t work. Rather than dispatching help - “there’s no one available, you need to come back to the front desk.” The empathy was non-existent, but the pain was astounding.
To top matters off, our cabin was riddled with stains on the walls and bugs in the air. But - better service would have made things bearable.
- Praveen (6/5): - The cabin was okay but the carpets were dirty.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - What a great place!!!
- Veronica (10/5): - The property was great for the value and close to all nearby attractions. The staff members we met were personable and helpful. We’ll definitely stay again in the future.
- Robert (10/5): - Nice little cabin and close to Kings Island. We enjoyed the pool area & having a little more space than a typical hotel room.
- Kenyon (10/5): - Will recommend . Clean place nice staff . Penty to do on site . Pools are the best restaurant on site with decent food and prices . And also a bar and a store on site
- Marie (10/5): - Great place to stay for a weekend getaway or going to Kings Island for a couple days.
Restaurant was really good, bar great. Nice pool area.
- Jenifer (10/5): - Clean and comfortable tiny homes with a free shuttle to Kings Island! Plenty of fast food options nearby too. Lovely property with nice amenities--pools were spacious, plus lots of outdoor seating areas for relaxing. Picnic tables and fire pits were a nice touch by each tiny house. Our family of four was comfortable and not crowded. We'd love to return and stay longer!
- Maria (10/5): - Very nice. Kid friendly place. Restaurant service and communication could use some work. But we will definitely be back again. My daughter loved it! So many great memories fir everyone.
- Dana (10/5): - This was such a fun place to stay. We loved the variety of activities on site. The complimentary shuttle to Kings Island was nice too.
- nhuvi (10/5): - Everything but the playground equipment lol
- Annette (10/5): - A nice campground, close to many things.
- Sarah (10/5): - Excellent. Helpful. Resort well maintained - always someone working.
- Carla (10/5): - The amenities
- Mark (6/5): - !!! Do not stay in the cabins during warmer weather. There is no AC in the cabins loft. Half our party had to get a hotel because of this. Cabins were cute & clean.
- Amy (8/5): Cute and comfortable - Property was very nice and clean. Easy to navgate even with a late night check in. The cabin was nice, clean and spacious. Cabins stocked well with dishes and cooking items. Beds were comfortable. Pools and amenitied looked very nice and well kept. We didn't use them as we spent the day and night over at Kings Island. I do with we were able to use our fire pit but it was so far in the back of the space we couldn't see to walk out there at night. Cabins are spaced very very close to each other. Over all I would stay here again.
- Jeremy (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were so friendly and amazing!
The cabin was comfortable and held all 7 of us easily.
The pool area is very nice!
We would definitely stay here again.
- Selena (8/5): - Thursday was horrible at check in. The cabin was filthy
- Brenda (10/5): Must have on Bucket List - Excellent
- Steve (10/5): - The modular home was well furnished. The kitchen was small but well organized. The kids had their own space and really loved it!
- patty (8/5): - Ejoyed our stay, unit as described very nice pool and so close ro kings island. We will be back
- Alisha (10/5): - There’s so many amenities and the pool was very nice!
- Suzanne (10/5): Nice weekend get away for fun in the sun. - The cabin was nice and clean. With plenty of room for our family of 7. The pool area was clean and nicely kept. I do wish there were more regular chairs as opposed to all of the loungers I have trouble getting in and out of those due to a stroke. Also the handicap accessible sidewalk shoul be close to all of the fun rather than only one the corner overall it was a great stay away from home though.
- Daniel (10/5): Family vacation - Extremely clean cabin great place and great family resort!!!
- tiera (10/5): - We went for my daughters birthday and she and her cousins loved it
- Amanda (10/5): - Camp Cedar was a great place to stay while in town for a baseball tournament. The cabin we stayed in was adorable and great for our family of 5.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Great clean cabin, had everything we needed. Pool was relaxing & plenty of lounges to share
