Guest Reviews
- Srinivasarao (2/5): - Bath room is not good
- Sameer (10/5): - Best service in cheapest price
- James (2/5): - We would like a refund
- Gregory (8/5): - No tv or anything. Good price and good if you want to shower, charge your phone, and crash for the night.
- Diane (4/5): A place with potential needing hospitable mgr. - Good things: reliable air conditioner, comfortable bed, good location., functioning t v with several viewing options, circular driveway, my reservation was not given to anyone else (I heard one guest complaining about his reservation being cut short. If the property we're cleaned up and given on site management, it could be a much nicer experience for the guests.
Bad things: everything was strictly business. For someone in the hospitality business, none was forthcoming. No manager on the premises, hefty extra fee to check in early, manager would not answer the main phone for the hotel but would only text and not give his name. Later, a request for pest control services against biting mosquitoes inside the house, ant invasion in the kitchen,, end multiple roaches throughout the house ( including in my bed) elicited no help from him. I was directed to have the maid take care of it the next morning,. The next morning , the maid could speak no english whatsoever...
All three windows in our room have no screens, so we kept them shut tight to keep out bugs,, but we could not control other guests' use of their windows.
- edison (2/5): - The property needs to be fully remodeled. It was not dirty but definitely dated and needs to be fixed up.
- Lester (2/5): - Not what was advertised
- Brian (4/5): - Be aware that this is a small house converted into bedrooms, with communal bathrooms and kitchen. My room was about 5’x8’, with a twin bed, no chair, no bedside table. A table lamp on the floor. If you wanted to plug in your phone charger, you had to unplug either the lamp, window A/C, or the WiFi router for the whole building. The bed was clean, the bathroom and kitchen were clean, and you had a clean towel to take into the bathroom with you. It wasn’t a resort or hotel, but a place to spend the night so you don’t have to sleep in your car in a truckstop. Got a good, cheap, night’s sleep - that’s all. If that’s all you need, this will work for you. A chair and a bedside table would have been nice - and another AC outlet…
- Shane David (2/5): - Bed had hair in it,
AC didn’t work, and they sent me the wrong room number to stay in so when I opened the bedroom door there were people in the bed. I only stayed 15 minutes and I was out. Horrible horrible horrible.
- Magaly (10/5): - Tranquilo
- Roy (2/5): - No tv bad bed
- Aaron (10/5): - Imnot going to prrtend it's a 5 star hotel or make it out to be a 5 star condition house, so you can understand this review. It's great for solo or duo travelers on a budget. It's one of the best deals around fort lauderdale. It's safe, adheres to regulations, everyone minds their business, managers are responsive and kind. It's not a motel size, more like an airbnb, private room, 2 shared baths, easy walk to store or commute lines. Perfect for a layover.
- Aiden (10/5): - Good price decent stay.
- Christopher (2/5): - It took a few days to get a response from the property manager to get the Room# and access codes. I had delayed flights and didn't arrive until after midnight. Upon arrival the key pad on the front door was malfunctioning. After many attempts was fortunate enough to get the code entered and enter the premise. The rooms were not clearly numbered. Finally finding my room (#2) it was already occupied. I messaged the host and he gave me another room#. It too was already occupied. He sent me to another property that was better but still not a quiet comfortable sleep (light coming in the blinds, no curtains)
- Lisa (10/5): - Quiet
- Gil (4/5): - Bed sheets were dirty and used. They smelled like sweat. Bed was uncomfortable
- BigGreg (2/5): - The manager there Brandon is a real jerk very disrespectful and mean and he try to sleep with the girls that's there be careful
- RUTH (4/5): Don’t stay here! - I was shocked when I drove to the location. It was a house with junkyard outdoor decor. A hungry homeless cat begging for food, in his bowl ant ridden scraps una dirty bowl. I couldn’t even consider staying there. I reached the host. The home did not feel safe and I’d have to share a bathroom with others - I canceled immediately upon seeing it.
- BigGreg (10/5): - Pretty nice laid-back place I like it
- Vincent (4/5): - Nothing is unique or likeable! I booked a room in a rooming house. Thinking it was an actual hotel. There was no tv in my room and i had to kill two roaches!!!!
- Elias (2/5): - I did not like the shared aspect of this property. It was not very clean and I would not recommend.
- TIMOTHY (2/5): - Just a house with rooms - shared bathroom
- Juan (10/5): Perfect for next day early flight - For one night it’s ok , the room ac was not working properly on my room it would throw air but very low , besides that no complains is very close to airport
- Andrei (2/5): - Just was a very musty place we at least had the option to do an early check in for $20, we arrived and it wasn’t to our standards. We were very confused on how to get to the room and once we entered we were greeted to a gross smell. The place was a dormitory which wasn’t made clear by the advertisement of the hotel. We expected to have to place to ourselves but didn’t realize we had to share the place with 4+ other people especially on the start of our honeymoon. All in all please don’t book this place unless you’re a drunk guy at a bar because anyone with human decency wouldn’t stay here.
- Lawrence (10/5): - Just a message in communications saying enter front door using code given.
- Fiona (4/5): - This is a home, more like a Hostel, Shared kitchen and bathrooms. Its cool, if you know what to expect.
- Anne (10/5): Very cozy place - Loved the house and very clean, kitchen was nice bonus, would definitely stay again.
- Chou (6/5): - Need improvements on property, hallways, elevator, outside. Need room cleaning daily.
- Corey (2/5): - The area is NOT Ft Lauderdale, but Dania which is just terrible. The folks outside next door smoking pot. The entire area is a gang location. The inside was suprisingly well kept but the outside looks like a war zone.
No power cords or usb outlets. 1 room outlet, so bring an extension. Very pricey for what you get
- Sweta (2/5): - They cancelled my reservation without any explanation at 10.30 am on day of check in
- Christina (6/5): - It wasn't what I expected... They were very quick to respond and help me find and understand how to access the building. I may not have understood prior to booking, but it's a shared space and only the bedroom is separate. Therefore, it didn't feel private. The walls are "thin" so every word can be heard no matter the hour. It was clean and nicely decorated.
- German (8/5): - Clean and nice place but noisy because the airport proximity
- Claysha (10/5): - It was just what was needed abd right on time.
- HILDA (2/5): - .
- Jocelyne (2/5): - The pictures make the property look good. Upon arrival it looks like the slums. I encountered a few roaches. The girl next door to my room was streaming, I have reason to believe she lives on the property. It smells old and mildew like. I was extra uncomfortable. I didnt even stay overnight on the property. They will not refund. I can't believe they are getting away with this.
- Lidia (2/5): - The hotel was closed when we got there and I could call or live a message is was all full.
They did not refund all fees just half.
Please read their fine print
- Pat (2/5): - This was a terrible place. It was so bad we left and would have slept in our car if we didn't find another place. I can't believe you would recommend this place. It was dirty with mold in the closet, the window air conditioner was melted. It smelled of leftover vooking. The pillows looked more like floor mats than pillows. One bathroom to share with 6 other rooms. Absolutely disgusting.
I think a refund should be given. It cost over $400 to stay at another hotel that luckily had a cancellation.
- Mary (2/5): - They "changed locations" after letting us travel to the address listed in our reservation and then never even sent the code for entry so we were stuck outside with our luggage in a strange neighborhood until an Uber picked us up to take us to another place entirely.
- Alexander (2/5): - This is not a motel. The owner contacted me 3 hours before check in claiming it had been sold and that I could stay at another of his houses. Didn't have a choice at that point. You should absolutely identify air b&bs on your site as different from other accomodation types.
- Patricia (2/5): Scary place. Should not be on Hotels.com - Never stay here. They cancelled the booking I made for Feb 1 and I rebooked and they canceled again. So it cost me over $500 to stay at another place I had to book through Expedia. They would not refund the Feb 14th booking so I showed up Feb 14th at the address as per booking confirmation and the email from hotels.com they sent the day before and then I was told that the address had changed which was on the other side of the airport and at least a 20 minute drive away. I was scared all night and did not get any sleep in the “‘garden view” room which had no view. Shouting and screaming after midnight was scary.
- Roberto (2/5): - The property never contacted me to inform me they were closed. I had booked 2 months in advance???
- Mark (2/5): Bait and Switch - Horrible experience, Owner cancelled when I arrived at property. Customer service found me another place for 4 times the cost and offered no other assistance.
- Gabriel (2/5): - i couldn't even sleep there because the door was close and nobody was there.By the street we can't even see that is a motel bcs its not write nowhere so we sleep somewerhe
- Mary (2/5): - It’s just someone’s property with rooms in residential area.
I couldn’t check in because rooms are full. They should have notified me earlier, not on the day I am going there.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Trash
- Derek (2/5): - Nothing worked. The phone, the hot tub , the gym, the coffee machine etc
- Steven (2/5): - It was a nightmare to stay there. Check in is non existent, no sign showing the place, no lighting, taxi could not find it. When we finally got in there was a couple sleeping in our bed. Amazing One of the worst stays ever
I do want to give a positive review for the manager, who lived around the corner and had to be woken up, in trying to help us
- Seth (4/5): - Things were clean and people nice, which was good, but bed was extremely cheap / thin, and air conditioner wasn't really working, so I basically got no sleep (naturally YMMV here). The shared bathroom situation with other guests thankfully wasn't an issue, though I could see it becoming one if folks all try to shower at the same time.
- Sabrina (8/5): - It is hostel like, but you have your own room.
- Marcus (2/5): - I made a reservation, arrived at the property, some unknown gentleman was standing infront of the closed reception office. The gentleman informed me that there was no rooms available.Mind you I made the reservation less than 1 hour from the time I arrived.
- Michael (4/5): - Property was overbooked. At last minute of may late arrival I was directed to another address.
It was a bedroom in owners house with father living there who greeted me with pants unzipped and started moving stuff out of the bedroom. Waiting till he changed sheets because I had no other late night options.
Owner doesn't speak English and web says multiple languages spoken. Just a weird situation, but owner has to be complimented bc he could have canceled and left me empty handed late at night, but instead offered his 2nd bedroom in his house and made his father sleep on the couch with the 2 dogs.
- Shirley (2/5): - No one greeted us or contacted us about how to access the property. Our flight was delayed and when we got to the property all the room had been booked.
- Robert (6/5): - The check in needs to be explained better . When we arrived we had to go and find someone to let us in.
- Por Heng (8/5): - At the beginning, the place was not available, but the owner send us to their propertie that is a nice place.
- Eric (2/5): - DO NOT STAY HERE. THIS IS A SHARED SPACE WHICH WAS NOT DISCLOSED IN THE AD. THERE WERE ABOUT 10 OTHER PEOPLE STAYING IN THE SAME HOUSE, SHARING A BATHROOM. YUCK. UNSAFE
- makesh (2/5): - He cancelled my reservations, I am totally disappointed and very angry
- carlos (2/5): - I need return my money . The honest told me is full when arrive for checking
The property is terrible . Bad area and bad property
- Alvin (8/5): - Nice place
- Daniel (2/5): - The only good thing aboit this place was the other guests i met. The place was dirty(i mean dirty), unsafe(smoke detectors broken with wiring hsnging out, air conditioner had more parts missing than intact, bad wiring with exposed outlets and so on and so on). Very unaccomodating and didnt care. It was just a fast buck. We reserved a room for the 3 of us(double bed and single bed). When we arrived the room given was just a doubke bed. All he said was"i rented it already". No apologies. We reserved it, paid for it and he gsve it away and then brought a dirty air mattress for one of us to sleep on. It took up the rest of the floor space so the only way to go to the shared bathroom was to wake the one up on the air mattress, lift the bed up to get the door open and go that way, then move it back. Really the only missing was cockroaches. Very terrible, pictures do not represent, do not stay here.
- Scott (2/5): Never again - Horrible
- Jose (2/5): Malo - Nunca encontré este hotel era una casa en sitio peligroso oscuro nunca me pude quedar pedí la devolución de mi dinero
- RICARDO (2/5): - When I arrived to the hotel this was full and they didn’t have availability. For this reason I needed go to another hotel.
- Shawnea (2/5): - We arrived at the property and they told us we aren’t allowed to stay because they had random people show up and took our room and never left. So we had to go somewhere else. After traveling for 12 hours to start our HONEYMOON we had to find somewhere to go while in an Uber and paid 3x the amount. So sad :(
- Crystal D (2/5): - I reached out to the owner 24 hours before arriving for check-in instructions like their page says to do. Didn't get any answers until the day of my flight. Four hours before take off the owner finally reached out via text to inform me that the property I rented months ago wasn't available anymore and that he could give me a refund. It ruined my birthday trip
- Paul J (2/5): Lost and no help to be found. - I paid in advance and I got nothing in return. I paid an Uber to get there and the place didnt exist. I tried calling several times and i got no response. I tried another Uber that went to the same wrong location. I had to pay for another Uber ride to stay at a different hotel.
- Horacio (10/5): - I am satisfied
- Brian (10/5): Clean, friendly - Very friendly staff, very clean and centrally located to many things
- Maria (10/5): - Clean and great location
- andrea (10/5): - el servicio que brindan es excelente, muy acogedor y agradable.
la distancia desde las propiedad hacia los clubs es caminable.
la habitación y el baño muy aseado.
- Patrick (10/5): - Quiet and convenient
- Pierre (2/5): - Dirty, unsafe
- Patrick (10/5): - Everything very clean. Place to park the car
- Lalat (2/5): - This is not a hotel . This a tiny filthy shared house when I reached there i was surprised it is listed on expedia as hotel . I dint stay at the place had to get another hotel which was 100 times better for same price . i asked the owner for refund she said yes . But never issued a refund. Never book this by mistake you will regret
- AMBIORIS (2/5): - No good no tv
- paulo (2/5): Beware of this place - How should I begin? We arrived at the property and the front door was open. Anyone could just walk in. Another guest directed me to the person in charge, that stays on the back of the property. He wasn’t expecting my check in and after some back and forth with the owner by text, showed me a room that smelled like pot, didn’t look nothing like the room in the picture, and worse of all, didn’t have a way to lock the door from the outside!! So if I left my luggage there and went for dinner, anyone could just walk in!!! I stayed in some questionable places as I travel often, sometimes you get more than you expect and sometimes less… but this place was probably the worse! I reached out to hotels.com to cancel and get a refund, but they could not reach the owner to approve so we lost that money and had to look for another place last minute.
- David (2/5): - We DID NOT stay there cause first of all there was NOBODY to LET us IN and second the place had GARBAGE in the FRONT and pile of BROKEN up FURNITURE as well as 10 cats that I got bit with FLEAS just walking around trying to find someone. The RAILROAD tracks are 2 lots down and across the street is WAREHOUSES with trash all over!! This is a POOR example for HOTEL.com to portray. I immediatelycalledhotel.com and I’m supposed to get a full refund!!!!!. We left there and got on Hotels.com again to find another place but this time we actually drove over there before we booked it and this was a hotel on A1A and Ocean that was closed with fence around it and they were redoing the pool that was emptied with water and there was no one around there, is this what I have to do with Hotels.com to use them is to check the places out first cause your advertising places that are closed and you can’t get into and that are dumps. Give me a call back if you need any extra information And also thee was a For Sale sign in front overgrown weeds.
- Andres (10/5): - Very clean 👌
- MYH (2/5): - Dirty and not refundable
- Lorenza (10/5): - Very convenient
- Horacio (10/5): - I am satisfied
- Paul (2/5): - My room door couldn't even lock properly. Another waste of money in a very bad time in one of least favorite parts of the world....
- Nick (2/5): Do not book here, reservation ignored - When I arrived at the property I was informed that they were full, with no rooms available, despite making a reservation about 2 weeks ago on here. Had to go and find somewhere else to stay for the night. Owner did not let me know anytime in advance despite having a reason (the current guest decided to extend there stay?).
